Superman é uma série animada lançada em 1988 pela Ruby-Spears Productions em parceria com a DC Comics e a Warner Bros. Television. Produzido em comemoração aos 50 anos do Homem de Aço, o desenho acompanha as aventuras de Clark Kent, o último sobrevivente do planeta Krypton, que utiliza seus incríveis poderes para proteger Metrópolis como o lendário Superman.
