Need to lift heavy equipment, engines, or materials with precision and control? A 1-ton manual chain hoist makes it easy to raise and lower loads safely—no power required. In this video, we’ll show you how to properly set up, operate, and maintain a manual chain hoist for safe, reliable lifting on any job site.
💡 Pro Tip: Always center the load under the hoist and lift vertically—angled pulls can cause dangerous strain or tipping.
⚠️ Safety Reminder: Check the hoist, hook, and chain for wear before each use. Never exceed the 1-ton capacity and keep hands and clothing clear while operating.

00:16to be aware of it is a is a good thing this is a one-ton chain fall they do come various sizes but
00:22this say you're doing something maybe in your garage or you're lifting something you're lifting
00:26an engine up or lifting a heavy weldment or structure of some kind and maybe you've got a
00:33beam up in the garage you can hook this up there and then this hook would be on the other end on
00:41your whatever you're trying to lift a weldment engine part of a vehicle but in any case this
00:48would be hooked on to that end and then it's simply a matter of of turning the chain either
00:57way up or down and as you see the chain moves to lift it up it's a safe way to lift some heavier
01:04objects and you've got about probably 25 feet of chain here so that if you had something down in
01:10a pit or down maybe down in a deep sump or a well have to lift the pump out or something and you
01:18had a tripod up on top you probably have one of these chain falls there or something on a tall
01:26ceiling very tall industrial ceiling and you're trying to something lift something off the floor
01:30or bring it up to the ceiling chain falls would be a an easy excellent way to to think about doing it
