A 24ft Conveyor Belt is a material handling machine designed to transport soil, gravel, concrete, debris, or other bulk materials quickly and efficiently. Perfect for construction sites, landscaping, and renovation projects, it reduces manual labor and speeds up jobsite productivity.
In this video, we’ll show you how to set up and operate a 24ft conveyor belt, load materials safely, and adjust the angle and speed for different applications.
💡 Pro Tip
Always feed material evenly to avoid jams. Adjust the incline to balance speed and material flow. Use the conveyor to move material directly to the work zone, reducing handling and cleanup.
⚠️ Safety Reminder
Wear gloves, eye protection, and sturdy footwear. Keep hands, clothing, and tools away from moving parts. Do not overload the belt—stay within weight capacity. Always shut off and disconnect power before performing maintenance or clearing blockages.

00:00well welcome back here we are again with another piece of equipment that could make your job
00:15easier this is a conveyor mostly used for transferring dirt used a lot for digging
00:22out basements if you have old homes or anything and you want to feed it through the wall and
00:26transport the dirt as you're digging out the basement to make it lower maybe you got a four
00:32foot ceiling or something in there and you want to get it down to eight feet this will allow you
00:36to put the the dirt or stone and everything on the end and transport it out into a outside into
00:44a pile into wheel barrels into a bin pickup truck whatever you can lift this thing into because the
00:51the wheels are just to transport it and tow it with a two-inch ball and you can take this dolly off
00:58and then you're the only dealing with the the framework itself and this is a this is the end
01:05that's going to have the soil come off of where the motor is that's usually outside and this other
01:12end where you have your tow bar at the end with the two-inch ball which you take off you don't leave
01:18that on because I as a conveyor shakes and everything it's going to work itself down into the the soil or
01:23the stone and could just jam up inside the coupler so take that and take that off unless you're just
01:29going to leave it up in the air and use it this way horizontally ninety percent of the time it's down
01:34into a hole somewhere and what I would also suggest is put a piece of wood at that end as the pockets
01:40come around and the conveyor shakes it tends to work itself down into the soil especially if it's loose soil
01:46and then you're starting and then you're dragging the pockets around as it's trying to come around
01:51possibly trip your breaker or anything it's an easy setup to plug in you'll use a heavy extension
01:58cord that's usually provided and you're just 115 volt power turn it on and the conveyor will start
02:04moving around the pockets will grab whatever it has to to grab and dump off the end try to keep when
02:11you're loading the conveyor at the at the loading end there is a hopper that you can get as well but
02:16try to keep loading your material maybe a couple feet up from the end not over the roller especially
02:21if you're doing things like pea gravel and that small stones would tend to get down into the the
02:27roller sometimes get jammed around the belt as well and they can jam things down at that end and trip
02:34your breaker as this thing's trying to move now a couple of good suggestions when you use this is
02:40especially in the winter time is grab your belt before you start doing anything and just make sure
02:46it's it's loose in the winter time sometimes you're using it and it gets wet in that it'll stick or freeze
02:53itself to the frame so first thing is you loosen off your belt always have it stopped empty and starting
03:01empty don't leave a load on to the conveyor again you can trip your breaker or whatever and as this
03:08is going around at the end of the day make sure it's empty and that it's not stuck to your frame
03:13and especially if you're doing it outside or the or the half that's in the outside is loading it's in
03:19the weather that there's nothing there that's going to cause any obstruction to the conveyor going around
03:25now this will certainly move fast enough for a couple of people to be loading so um don't worry
03:32about the conveyor keeping up and the uh the um dispensing at the end uh you'll have to keep an eye
03:42on that for your loading there's no um no remote shut off or anything the conveyor is going to keep
03:47going so make sure you know uh how much is coming off on the end when you're doing it and um that's
03:55about it for this pc unit the only other thing that uh i should mention is when you do make a hole
04:01especially if you're going to go to think you're going to go into a window in a basement make sure
04:05you know that the the size of the frame on the end to fit through horizontally is fine but you're going
04:11to be on an angle so it's going to be bigger than what you anticipate you may have to be taking out a
04:15block or two or you may have to take out some framing certainly the window but uh don't just
04:21take the um the rectangular frame of the size with the motor of the conveyor that's only if it's going
04:27straight when you go on that angle you're easily going to be taking out another six to six inches to
04:32a foot uh on your on your verticals to be able to get this conveyor down at the angle you want
04:38okay so there's something to consider certainly will make a job easier and uh keep in touch and uh
