A Baker Scaffolding Set is a versatile, rolling scaffold system designed to provide a stable elevated platform for painting, drywall, electrical, and renovation projects. With adjustable heights, locking casters, and stackable frames, it offers safe access to hard-to-reach areas indoors or outdoors.
In this video, we’ll show you how to assemble and set up a baker scaffold, lock wheels and braces for safety, and adjust platform height for different tasks.
💡 Pro Tip
Always build scaffolding on level ground. Lock all casters before climbing and secure braces tightly. For added reach, stack additional sections but ensure proper safety pins and guardrails are installed.
⚠️ Safety Reminder
Wear a hard hat, gloves, and non-slip footwear. Never exceed the weight limit of the scaffold. Do not climb on the outside frame—always use the designated access points. Keep the work area clear of obstructions and never move scaffolding while someone is standing on it.

00:00well welcome back and today we're going to talk about scaffolding specifically what's called
00:17Baker scaffolding and that's what you should ask for if you want this or rent this and this is used
00:23a lot in the in homes or by decorators by painters it's very portable because it's can be all stacked
00:32into a back of a truck or a vehicle or trailer about six inches high about 30 inches wide about
00:38six feet long so if you can get that kind of box or cube in your vehicle you can easily transport
00:44this as opposed to some of the other types of scaffolding you'll see in other videos which
00:48uses braces and larger frames so this gives you a nice wide plank when you put it the plank in
00:56here it's about 30 inches wide by six feet long so you have a nice working area as well you can stack
01:02these two feet high these are six feet high each frame so that would mean 12 feet you will standing
01:09on top is enough another roughly six feet so you can easily reach with arms up summers around 18 to
01:1620 feet very nice and to use on stairs because you can have one and that's why I've got one brace here
01:24higher than the other because you can actually put these together so that you can one frame can be on
01:33the say the floor the next frame could be a little higher on the step and be hooked into this brace so
01:39you could have one you would have these across from one another of course but just showing that you can
01:44have them at different heights the the frames both have holes all the way up and down about every four
01:52inches so with those holes that's where you can you can pin these in these come with a with a single
01:59pin you just pull the lever slide these up or down to the hole that you want and very very easy to put
02:07together certainly easier with two people but you'll have your other frame here and and that will be
02:18straight and then all you do is take these the support here some don't use them I'd recommend using one
02:31it's nice to have the and this just lays in the frame and your plank will be on top and all that
02:37does is supply supply a little extra support so you don't get that sponginess in the board as you're
02:43walking across some of us are have no problem walking across things like boards or you're a little higher
02:50and and some don't so this gives you a little more rigidity and gives you a little more self-confidence
02:55and what you're doing if you're doing wallpaper or anything like that it it gives you a nice big open
03:01surface on the wall here to to work or painting that kind of thing and it's you don't have any
03:10braces cross braces or anything that are in your way easy to take off take the weight off pull the pin
03:16here and off it comes very easy and the same thing here and then you can put them wherever you want
03:24so if you've got that painting or drywall or wallpaper maybe even got to just wheel it around
03:33inside the the hallway you can put casters on the bottom of these as well they're four inch casters to
03:40wheel around and makes it easy to get it up and down hallways or move it around the house and they
03:46then you can lock them and to get up on the higher heights there's your ladder right there you're
03:52just climbing up the end of it right up to the top of the the scaffolding so this certainly could make
03:58some of your jobs easier rather than trying to use ladders or step ladders or extension ladders maybe
04:04where you don't feel as secure give the speaker scaffolding a try so that's it for that one and
04:11hopefully we'll see you soon and don't forget to subscribe
04:16you
