00:00hey guys welcome back 10 prizes once again this is your host Dan the Gamer and today I'm gonna be doing another video
00:11it's gonna be different now because for my last update video I sort of hope things would have gone a bit more smoothly
00:19apparently it turns out it's not the case but I'm gonna be doing some other videos like this for the time being until I can set things back in motion
00:29because it seems that the minting I said in the price might take a bit longer than I originally thought
00:37but I want to make this quick video based on what's been going on recently and that is what the whole console was
00:45and I think there's something that needs to be said here in terms of these next gen consoles all these new titles coming out
00:55all this new stuff that's people been bragging about especially even with the you know the PC masters and all the new graphics card and new hardware
01:04there's something that a lot of people have sort of like forgotten something really major
01:12and I don't know if it really affects people as much as it would sound but I think it's something worth mentioning and that is the rate at which the gaming industry is moving in today's climate
01:30let me explain
01:32ever since we got to the PS3 and Xbox 360 this is when the consoles now started going into the full HD 1080p bracket
01:43a lot of the games they weren't really like all that at that point you know back then that when there was no time to catch on with all of the new stuff
01:59and the one thing I remember is that there was a lot of games that was coming out back then from the PS3 and the Xbox 360 era leading up to the PS4 and the Xbox One
02:15where the games started being able to look much better and the consoles had no catch on to the era
02:25the thing is with since the Xbox One and the PS4 we've had a huge uptick in terms of the games that have been coming out especially from the indie disc and now we're starting to see the indie developers catching up and even surpassing some of the mainstream titles
02:47now here we are the Xbox Series X PS5 coming out and you've seen a huge bum here again and for me personally I think we should slow down a little bit I think there's a bit too much titles have been coming out you know think about it how much Call of Duty's come out a year you know like every single year there's a new Call of Duty
03:15or every single year there's a new Assassin's Creed and so on and so forth and by the time you reach to the new one right now which is Valhalla or the new Call of Duty you're like several games out of the line like I remember playing the Call of Duty back around the day when the you know the real Modern Warfare like Modern Warfare 2 and she was the big thing I kind of stopped after Modern Warfare 2
03:43after Modern Warfare 2 I mean I didn't get a chance to play Black Ops 2 or Call of Duty Ghost and I actually tried to get a chance to do it I actually had to play Black Ops 2 which I didn't really like all that much
03:55what I noticed that every year they bring out a title and there's always some problems you know there's like some glitches performance issues those sort of things it's very notable on the Assassin's Creed franchise
04:11I haven't even played Assassin's Creed since Fatherhood because it was getting so oversaturated to the point where it's not even about Assassin's anymore like we had this one the other day before it was Spartans and now it's about Vikings but that has to do with Assassin's to be honest I mean I really don't know
04:40what is going on what is going on what is going on at this point it's like let's just keep bringing out titles as long as there's people buying them as long as you make back your money it's worth it I'm thinking as though that's
04:54just tell me the way from that because of how much stuff has been coming out like think about how much games have been coming out just for the past last year for 2019 alone
05:08look how much titles have been coming out and how many of those have you who have actually gotten a chance to play you know and it's just like the numbers keep increasing and every year is no it's getting more competitive kind of like the movie business more and more studios and developers keep jamming and bringing out new titles and you're like sitting there thinking man there's so much
05:35easy to play and obviously you're not going to be able to play every single one but in terms of like your favorite franchises it's sort of like running out of time to even go through them because by the time you finish one or you're probably like halfway into finishing one and the next one comes out right like I haven't even gotten a chance to play the new modern warfare and now we have this quality warzone and now black ops cold wars are already out it's
06:04just like can you at least like can you at least slow down you know go back to the days where games will come out like every two years in each franchise you know like like the fire crisis or even the halo franchise you know they they take their time right they don't like release them constantly like every year they take it like at least every two years or so they bring out a new title
06:30let your fan base get like you know let them get indulge in the current title and let them wait it out you know there is some new stuff there's so much stuff in these games too that when you play them it sort of like goes over most people's heads
06:52because you know because you know as soon as you finish them like you finish the camp you know you play the multiplayer for like a week or two and that's pretty much it you know you never really get to like explore the different stuff that could be in the game that could be really interesting you know and
07:12everything that is really down to like these companies man you know they want to maximize their profits on end of year so they want to make sure these franchises keep churning out titles
07:28every here so they can keep making those sales and i'm just thinking please just stop slow down and let these franchises have room to breathe
07:40to what's coming out um there wasn't really a lot of games on release for these next-gen consoles and i think that's a good thing because it allows you time to actually catch up on the current game that
07:56we haven't we haven't even finished or even got to playing so yeah yes that's pretty much it for the console
08:04um overall the messages slow down take your time let your developers actually have time to play the games make them off complete
