00:06video we're going to be doing a quick discussion here about you know the recent hail tv season is
00:13coming out right they're probably wondering okay how come i haven't talked about this yet you know
00:17it looks really good from the trailers and it's getting a lot of attention and it looks like it
00:23could be actually legit like a video game live action well the truth is as it's too very simple
00:29thing actually the first being is that this is not canon okay the creators themselves have actually
00:39admitted that it's not canon the second thing and this is probably the more bigger thing in addition
00:45to this um tv show they're doing what's for here is the fact that you looking at it right and looking
00:54for materials but um well a lot of stuff we've been hearing about this like when you sign the scene
01:00with production like the people who are working on like the producers the writers the directors
01:06this is a tv series that has like you know eight to ten episodes of a long episode right and people
01:14who work on the show actually admitted that they haven't even played the games you know
01:20so just basically just winging it in a sense like um whatever it is that they put together for the
01:28show and from watching the trailers at first glance it does look halo and very well made i will give
01:37that to them but if you look deeper into it you realize they did pretty much make a lot of changes to
01:46this that are not favorable changes at all like for example captain keys has been way swapped and cortana
01:57doesn't even look like cortana and there seem to be all these emphasis on all these female asian
02:05specific characters throughout um these trailers and it's like what what the fuck like what's the point
02:14in this so you have to replace characters like already existing characters with female characters
02:22you can't just add them in you know so yeah that's that was one thing that another actually turned me
02:28off from this um i've seen the early reviews drop and it does not look favorable at all from everybody
02:36in the early reviews people commented how master chief doesn't feel or sound like master chief i don't know
02:43exactly why the hell they did that why they couldn't get the voice actor from the game but after reading up on this
02:51production stuff and realizing oh these guys haven't even played the games and they admit it's not canon to the show
02:58it's like okay there's no reason to take this seriously then because it's like hey they're not trying to actually
03:04follow in the the the law of the game itself and the reason why i'm taking issue with the not being canon part
03:13because it not being canon gives the the showrunners a actual excuse to not you know follow the game
03:24and try to be accurate to it you know because if people come out and tell them that say hey this is not
03:31not halo this is not following the love of the game this is not what the character's eye you know you're pretty
03:38much changing things around and it's you know it's ruining the halo lore you can be telling these guys this and
03:47the show doesn't easily turn around and say it's not canon anyway so who cares right we're not trying to do that
03:54rather they can use that as an excuse to basically make this and just and just to use the halo name
04:04as an aesthetic for their show you know whatever story they came up with i'm getting really fed up
04:10of seeing that happen because this isn't the first time this has happened we've seen this happen before
04:15with other tv shows where or movies even where they pretty much take the franchise name or the ip
04:21and they pretty much use that as an aesthetic for them to just basically write whatever the
04:28fuck they want about the characters and the story or whatever direction they want to go in rather
04:34than just trying to at least honor or respect the lore from the ip that they're using and i'm not really
04:42going to go out and say that that is exactly what's going on here because from looking at the trailers
04:48they do at least went out of the way to you know capture some of the essence of halo with
04:57the other stuff but i won't rule it out that they would probably do that because
05:05this is like eight episodes ten episodes i think and they're all long episodes so there's plenty of
05:11stuff in this series and there's a good chance that given what we've been reading about you know
05:19the show and how they're changing up stuff i wouldn't put it past them to not do that with the show
05:27and use the canon as an excuse right it makes me think that even the the game studio themselves like
05:38microsoft and them who who own the hill franchise maybe them also probably realize that this is not
05:44you know a a good show since they too probably agree that it's not canon right i don't know i mean
05:52it just doesn't sound like it's gonna be good even though different materials did make it look promising
05:58you know it looks like another dud in my opinion and it's why overall speaking is why i'm not really
06:07interested in talking about or reviewing the halo series right and it's gonna just ignore it and
06:13pretend it's not canon just like you know the show runners themselves have admitted all right so yeah
06:21and that's my opinion about the halo tv series for paramount guys i'm looking at the link in comment
06:27section down below on the halo paramount series and do you like it do you hate it i've seen the first
06:36the results drop so the reviews for the show and it doesn't look all that positive in my opinion but
