00:14Once again, this is your host, the Gamer.
00:16Today's with you, I'm going to be doing a little bit of a discussion.
00:20Okay, now, honestly speaking, I did not really expect it to be talking about this matter
00:26until I started making the rounds more and more.
00:30I started blowing up more and more, and I was like, okay, maybe I should talk about this.
00:38Okay, now, today I'm going to be talking about the whole recent situation with Arnold,
00:42social media comments, and what's been going on with the bodybuilding realm as of late.
00:51Okay, if guys aren't really aware, I mean, I can't really blame you because
00:55I don't really talk about bodybuilding stuff on my channel, aside from that one instance
01:00with Chef Rush being a hypocrite and a liar.
01:05Alright, this situation, though, it seems that there was something worth bringing up.
01:09Okay, now, recently, there have been a sort of livestream going on with Arnold talking to
01:18some guys, and in the livestream, he apparently blurted out the face,
01:25screw your freedom.
01:27And since then, everybody got pissed off.
01:31That whole soundbite went all over the place, and everyone was, like,
01:37really disappointed and sad and angry.
01:39that, you know, someone like Arnold could actually bring himself to actually say something like this.
01:45Because, here's one of the things that one would have said, well, there's actually a
01:51many other things here, but the main thing here that's worth noting is that the reason
01:56why people are pissed off with Arnold is because they view Arnold as an American symbol, you know,
02:05that sort of conservative symbol, freedom, and all that stuff, especially given his past, right?
02:14He came to the US as a little broke guy, and he started doing his bodybuilding stuff, and Gold's Gym,
02:22you know, with Franco Colombo, and all those other old guys in the golden age, he basically made bodybuilding
02:29into what it is today, right? So, he's the babyface of bodybuilding.
02:34In a way, you can say it's, like, what Vince McMahon is for WWE, like, in that sense, except not as, uh,
02:42polarizing, I guess you can say, you know, the wrestling biz, that is what you can say Arnold is for the bodybuilding realm.
02:51He's not the first guy to think about it, but he's the one that actually made it, like, mainstream, you can say.
02:57You have him going around doing his Hollywood movies, where he plays his action star, this, like, American hero sort of vibes.
03:06With all that going on, of course you're gonna have all these people, you know, who grew up watching the movies, looking at you some type of way,
03:17and associating you, you, with, like, the, sort of, like, freedom, sort of, theme, to discipline at you.
03:26When you go out and you say something like, screw your freedom, which I understand, it's out of context, but when you say something like that, and it goes out there,
03:38you're gonna have everyone, of course you're gonna feel some type of way, because, you know, they have a, sort of, kind of view, that they, well, have emphasis on.
03:51And it seems to me that Arnold have, sort of, like, forgotten that, especially nowadays, you know, I think it's probably since he became into politics.
04:02Like, running for government and all that stuff, he sort of, like, lost touch with his, I don't know, he sort of, like, libertarian freedom is side.
04:11Everyone has, you know, become familiar with it.
04:15Either it's that, or he was just a closer to the, um, democratic leaders the whole time, because, you know, this guy ran as a republican,
04:24a lot of people, even on the republican side, was, sort of, critical of him, back in the day, you know.
04:33But that's, aside from the point.
04:35The, the whole thing that I said earlier, you know, with context, this is probably the main thing I wanted to touch on,
04:42because he was actually talking about, you know, social distancing, wearing masks, following the guidelines, all that other stuff.
04:49And that's why he came up with the, you know, school of freedom, you know, and all that other stuff.
04:55Because if you don't follow the, the rules, and that kind of thing.
04:59So the whole context is that, um, he was saying that, basically, if you don't follow these pandemic rules, and people, you know, getting sick and all this other stuff as a result,
05:13then, you don't, you shouldn't have freedom. That, that's, the point of what he's saying.
05:19And, to be honest, if you put it, the context in, it doesn't even make any difference.
05:25And, in fact, it still sounds worse, in my opinion.
05:29And, the thing here that I want to touch on is, this sort of elitist mindset from these, all these rich folks.
05:39They'd sit down here and then, and tell, you know, to follow all the pandemic guidelines, and listen to the experts, and wear the mask, and take the vaccine, and do all this stuff, right?
05:53Meanwhile, they are not even following the rules, you know, it's like the whole emphasis of rules for the, but not for me, right?
06:01And, you're seeing it more and more every day, with these guys, they want to preach to you about, follow the experts, and all this other stuff.
06:08And, through the pandemic, you see them go on these both ways, and, they throw these parties, and, most of them are not even wearing masks.
06:16Even if they say that they're vaccinated, you still have to wear a mask to be, ah, be careful, right?
06:24Because you can still spread the virus while vaccinated, that's the whole point.
06:27And, these guys, they aren't really following all that, nor they're following the, you know, the six feet distancing, whatever, to limit the spread.
06:35These guys, they just don't care.
06:38But, they want you to follow all that.
06:41You know, they want, they want to tell you to screw your freedom, but not screw their freedom.
06:46And, that's what I find is, the most, hypocrite or annoying part of all this.
06:53Only celebrities, feel that they can talk down to people, in that sort of sense.
06:59Knowing full well, they have no skin in the game, when it comes to this whole pandemic.
07:03Like, literally speaking, if you've seen any of these celebrities, you actually, lost out on anything.
07:09Like, here, have them had to close down their business, they lose their income, they have to sell their house because they couldn't pay it because they were on lockdown.
07:19No, these celebrities don't have to go through that shit.
07:22They live by different rules.
07:24So, with that being said, why should we listen to what they have to say?
07:30But, that being said, that's pretty much the gist of what to say when it comes to this whole situation with Arnold.
07:36You know, like I said earlier at the beginning of the video, I wasn't really interested in talking about this.
07:41But, after seeing it showing up more and more in the searches and, you know, these are the big profile names in bodybuilding and Strongman was coming out and rejecting their support and calling for Arnold.
07:57I feel like I need to bring this up.
08:00And it's just to give my two cents on this.
08:03And, I don't know if you guys know this, but for me there was also another thing about this whole situation that I wanted to bring up as well.
08:12Something more on the lighthearted side.
08:15And, my point of it was basically, look, I'm an expert on how to build a bicep.
08:21And so, therefore, I know exactly what I'm talking about.
08:24I've studied this issue.
08:25I know exactly how to create this peak and all this stuff.
08:28There's no one that knows more about a bicep than I do because I studied this issue for 50 years.
08:34To be honest with you, that had been dying the whole time since I heard it like you studied the bicep for 50 years.
08:43If anything, at least that's the funny part you can take away from this whole situation.
