00:00Alright guys, be sure to follow me on BeagleLive. I'll be streaming games right there on BeagleLive.
00:10And also be sure to check me out on Loomotive where I'll do other content as well. Links will be in the description down below.
00:20Hey guys, welcome back to Uniparises. Once again, this is your host, DennyGamer, and today's video.
00:26And I'm not gonna lie, this one kinda like, took me all by surprise. I wasn't interested in it when I heard it popped off.
00:35But then when I saw it, and I saw, you know, the daily buyers respond, it really caught my interest.
00:43Like, this whole situation with Crowder, and boring, you know, Stephen Crowder and the other wire.
00:52It seemed like this huge tug of war stuff, like, at first glance it came off as, you know, baited drama for views.
01:03But as I watched through more of the stuff, and I listened to more people talking about, I realized, oh, this is some serious business stuff that's going on here.
01:15I will say, a lot of it feels like the part called the Keto Black.
01:21And, and mind you, I listened, I sat down, and I took the time to listen to both sides go back and forth.
01:30And then I saw, you know, Kyanis Owens going off on, you know, the Teamcast IRL.
01:35And then I saw, you know, Brett Cooper's Instagram post.
01:38I saw all of them chiming in, giving their takes from all sides.
01:44Right, even the young rappers to it as well.
01:47And I can say, it, it, it really does seem like the part called the Keto Black.
01:52Because it's funny, because, okay, from the daily buyers perspective, right.
01:57Jerry Boring is talking about it as a business.
02:00Because, he is a business person, right.
02:04Like, you know, he does this contract stuff, and you know, he does this to make money.
02:10Like, that's what a businessman would do.
02:12So, to, like, to go after him in a way Crowder did.
02:16And, you know, tell him it's not about the money, and all this other stuff.
02:21It, it, it sounds very, very tone deaf in a way.
02:25Because, man, you, Crowder, even though Crowder is a business savvy.
02:30He is not a business man, right.
02:32He is just a content creator.
02:34Right.
02:35He was signed under the blaze.
02:37Now, it's just, you know, bad advice for them.
02:40He is a free agent.
02:42Jerry Boring, in your hand, is a businessman.
02:44Right.
02:45Even though he posts, like, content down there.
02:47But, he's been a businessman that hires, contracts, a lot of content creators.
02:52And, also, a lot of employees.
02:55Quite a bit.
02:56So, he has a lot of, you know, paychecks to deliver.
03:01And, in order to, you know, guarantee those paychecks, you need to make sure you have money coming in.
03:08Right.
03:09And, that's the whole point, you know.
03:10That's essentially what, you know, Jaybo is making, right.
03:13You know.
03:14If he signed his contract with this person.
03:17And, by the way, he offered, you know, Crowder, like, 50 million in a initial offer.
03:25And, he said, on top of that, he would be spending money as well.
03:30Because, you know, he would be, like, providing infrastructure, technology, all this stuff.
03:34Because, he's not just paying credit, but also hosting this content.
03:39And, providing extra forum and searchers content to thrive on Daily Wire and Daily Wire Plus to boost subscriptions.
03:48Right.
03:49So, the whole thing about that there is that.
03:51Okay.
03:52I'm spending all this money for you.
03:54Over, like, a four or five-ish year period of red contract.
03:58And, obviously, he's going to, like, want to make back that money somehow, right.
04:04Like, you're going to want to run ads.
04:07To add spending.
04:08That's money also being invested there.
04:10To make back money.
04:12And, subscription deals.
04:14And, among other stuff.
04:16And, I get it, right.
04:17You know, as you're a business person.
04:19All this is completely valid.
04:22The only issue I really had with Jimmy Boy and some, you know, video breaking on the contracts was.
04:29Essentially, the way it was structured.
04:32It has the whole deduction thing going on for, you know.
04:36People who sign them.
04:37Like, oh, if you get dinged on this platform.
04:40This platform.
04:41This other platform.
04:42If you get to extract or demortize or whatever.
04:44It doesn't get resolved in, like, a period.
04:46You.
04:47They dock you, like, 15 or 20 percent or so of your, um.
04:52The revenue, right.
04:54And, it's a dumb thing.
04:56I will admit.
04:57Jerry Bond really took a L with that stance.
05:00And, the real issue I take with this stipulation.
05:05Is that.
05:06When it comes to political commentaries.
05:08Like, who work for the Daily Wire.
05:10These people tend to get demonetized.
05:12Or, sometimes, strike depending on the content.
05:15And, a lot of times, it's not even.
05:18At.
05:19Their own fault.
05:20Like, let's say exclude the YouTube.
05:23Right.
05:24You have the other platforms and such.
05:26There's people out there who are.
05:29Constantly, you know, like, flagging their content.
05:32Or, trying to boycott them.
05:34Get them demortized and banned off of platforms.
05:37Just because they don't like them.
05:40Right.
05:41See, I don't even remember.
05:42You're in a lie and stance or scenario.
05:44When you're.
05:45Like, this.
05:46Or, like.
05:47Political commentary.
05:48And, you know.
05:49The Daily Wire having this sort of stipulation.
05:51In a contract.
05:52Where, you know.
05:53They dock your, um.
05:54Your pay.
05:55Whatever.
05:56If you get, like.
05:57Boycotted from sponsors.
05:59And, demonetized.
06:00And, it's not resolved.
06:02It's stupid.
06:03Because.
06:04A lot of the times.
06:05It's not at the fault of the content creator.
06:08And.
06:09You think that.
06:10The Daily Wire being in.
06:12This section.
06:13Of, you know.
06:14The political sphere.
06:16They would be at least somewhat.
06:18Sympathetic.
06:19To that.
06:20But.
06:21They're not.
06:22So, yeah.
06:23That's a.
06:24The main thing I took away from.
06:26Do Jimmy Boyk's contract.
06:27That he put out there.
06:28And, he was going through.
06:30Because, everything else.
06:31You know.
06:32The amount of money.
06:33And, um.
06:34The.
06:35The other stuff.
06:36It.
06:37It seemed.
06:38Legitimate.
06:39In my opinion.
06:40My main issue was the.
06:41The talking.
06:42The pay for demonetization.
06:43I will agree with Steven Crowder.
06:45In.
06:46That regard.
06:47But.
06:48Outside of that.
06:49I'll have to come to.
06:51The Daily Wire's defense here.
06:53And, say that Steven Crowder was being.
06:56Very.
06:57Egotistical.
06:58And, very.
06:59I would say.
07:00Selfish.
07:01Because.
07:02Like I said earlier.
07:04Crowder isn't really much of a business person.
07:07I mean.
07:08He does dabble a little bit in the business.
07:10But.
07:11He's more content creation.
07:12Right.
07:13He hasn't had to like.
07:15Manage.
07:16A huge thing like.
07:18The Daily Wire.
07:19The Daily Wire.
07:20Where they have hundreds of employees.
07:21And contractors.
07:22Involved.
07:23And.
07:24Now.
07:25There's so much people.
07:26Yet to be paying.
07:27And yet to make sure.
07:28The money is coming.
07:29And make sure the revenue.
07:31Is solid.
07:32So you can keep all these people.
07:34Contracted.
07:35With all this content.
07:36And you know.
07:37The Daily Wire Plus.
07:38Which they recently.
07:39Got going.
07:41It's a very tough thing.
07:44And.
07:45For crowd.
07:46To come out.
07:47And be like.
07:48Or you know.
07:49If.
07:50They're losing money.
07:51And lots of other stuff.
07:52And.
07:53It was a pretty dumb take.
07:54On crowd.
07:55This part.
07:56I.
07:57Will admit that.
07:58Okay.
07:59Because the whole point.
08:00Of.
08:01Any.
08:02Business.
08:03Ever.
08:04Is.
08:05To.
08:06Expand.
08:07And.
08:08Make money.
08:09Like.
08:10That's.
08:11The main thing.
08:12Right.
08:13If a business.
08:14Can't really.
08:15Make money.
08:16They're going to be.
08:17In a.
08:18That's.
08:19How they.
08:20Guarantee.
08:21The.
08:22Salaries.
08:23Or.
08:24The employees.
08:25Like.
08:26The Daily Wire.
08:27Doesn't have this.
08:2850.
08:29Whatever.
08:30Million.
08:31Sitting in the bank.
08:32Somewhere.
08:33Just like that.
08:34Right.
08:35They're not.
08:36Microsoft.
08:37Contracts.
08:38And.
08:39This.
08:40Just so.
08:41Happens.
08:42This is.
08:43The model.
08:44That they use.
08:45Then.
08:46It works for them.
08:47The whole.
08:48Content creation stuff.
08:49And.
08:50He.
08:51Interacts.
08:52Of.
08:53People.
08:54You know.
08:55Who are like.
08:56On the younger side.
08:57And they're.
08:58More gullible.
08:59To these stuff.
09:00I mean.
09:01You see this.
09:02In the music industry.
09:03In particular.
09:04Right.
09:05But.
09:06Kanye West.
09:07He.
09:08He.
09:09The intellectuals.
09:10And their contract.
09:11They.
09:12Screw.
09:13Over young talent.
09:14For this.
09:15Pennies.
09:16On the dollar.
09:17So yes.
09:18That is a solid point.
09:19And.
09:20It's funny.
09:21Because.
09:22I agree with.
09:23With what.
09:24Crowder.
09:25Is.
09:26Saying.
09:27With what.
09:28Daily Wire.
09:29Is.
09:30Saying.
09:31As well.
09:32Right.
09:33They both have.
09:34Legitimate.
09:35Legitimate.
09:36took an L because of the way he came out with this whole stuff right you know he just left
09:42it down the blaze and he mentioned that he was getting offers but apparently it doesn't
09:49seem like there were offers that he felt were it's worth it and now the daily wire here
09:58show him like an offer that was up for negotiation and it didn't want to and now he's doing this
10:06whole stupidness yeah that whole stop a con thing he started buying that domain and commoding
10:14that you know to get people to come join his upcoming stuff it felt very very sinister in
10:24the way when I saw that I was immediately on the fence and skeptical about crowders and this whole
10:32thing this whole supposed crusade on to save the country as he calls it then there's a whole stuff
10:40he did with you know secretly recording Jeremy boring and using that against him it just felt
10:52dishonest as hell like him trying to come out and say it's about saving the country and all this other
11:01stuff and it's most certainly not the only thing this is about is money and ego even though he had
11:11a very solid point about contracts and taking advantage of young talent all of that message
11:17got lost with the way he he went after Jeremy boring without that recording and all the other stuff
11:26I mean that that's just the way I see it guys but I mean overall that's pretty much my thoughts here on this
