00:00Chiefs Red Half Hour here on Cody and Gold.
00:02Don't forget, you guys can always interact on the J.
00:05Southland Toast Service text line 913-586-7965.
00:10Coming up at noon, we'll get back into the Royals and Cole Reagans.
00:14Unfortunately, a little bit of a setback.
00:15We asked J.J. Bacolo about that earlier in the show as well.
00:20Hope you guys are having a good Tuesday.
00:21First day back from the long weekend.
00:23That's, you know, some of you, maybe you double dipped and you extended it out.
00:26Otherwise, today, I feel like, I don't know about you, the roads were empty.
00:28Now, a lot of it is school's out, so now you're not getting the 8 o'clock,
00:31like when we're driving in the 8 o'clock traffic the way we used to.
00:35But did you notice that?
00:35I felt like there was nobody on the road today.
00:37It still feels like some people are extending their weekend one more day or something.
00:41I'll give you that.
00:41It does feel, well, I mean, we do that on occasion.
00:43I don't blame people.
00:44It's a great time to take a day.
00:46You get four days off in a row and you only have to take one day off.
00:49That's not so bad.
00:50Yeah, it was a good weekend, man.
00:51Weather was great.
00:52Yeah, I enjoyed it.
00:52It was nice.
00:53I feel like it was really busy, but I can't, like, pinpoint what specific thing I did
00:57in order to fill up my time.
00:58But it definitely felt busy.
01:00I took my kids swimming yesterday.
01:03Yeah, pools are open.
01:04What the hell did I do all day on Saturday?
01:06Water might be a little cold, but pools are open.
01:08My kid had a sleepover on Friday, so I was down to just one kid on Friday night.
01:13Oh, a sleepover somewhere else?
01:14Yeah.
01:15Oh, okay.
01:15No, not even in my house.
01:16Easy enough.
01:17I was down to a single kid, which is far easier.
01:20Although he didn't understand why he couldn't just stay.
01:23Because it's, you don't know these people.
01:26I mean, you do, but like.
01:27Not like that.
01:28You know.
01:29You don't get to just tag along.
01:30He wants to tag along to most things.
01:31He got very much little brother energy in the.
01:33Okay.
01:33He would like to be a part of it, which I get.
01:36I'm not.
01:37So, like.
01:38I doubt.
01:38I don't know.
01:39He'd be listening to this show.
01:40He's seven.
01:41He.
01:42Dude.
01:42He.
01:43He's struggling, guys.
01:44You guys got any suggestions?
01:46Desmond.
01:46Still?
01:47Desmond.
01:47Oh, without school?
01:48Mm-hmm.
01:48So, Desmond, at the end of the school year, the last.
01:51Was getting really introspective the last few days.
01:55It was like, I don't understand why we have to say goodbye.
01:59And I'm not going to see my friends for 93 days.
02:01He's like counting the number of days and stuff.
02:03It's pretty.
02:03It's pretty.
02:04And his.
02:05The last day of school, they had to exchange compliment cards with, like, a fellow classmate.
02:10Compliment cards?
02:11Well, just like, you know, like.
02:12Yeah, let's do that around the show every week, too, guys.
02:14Let's do that.
02:15That'd be nice.
02:15But insults instead.
02:16Yeah.
02:17Let's do the opposite.
02:18Exactly.
02:19And so, his was from his friend.
02:21And it was just like, he's been looking for it every morning.
02:25And just, like, being brought to tears.
02:27Just thinking about missing his friends every day.
02:29He is very upset about getting at school.
02:31Give it another week.
02:32Once he starts school.
02:32I'm supposed to help this kid.
02:33Once he starts going to the pool and stuff and enjoying that life, he'll be, he'll be
02:36fine.
02:37You think once summer really kicks in, he'll be feeling.
02:39Because it hasn't, it hasn't left yet.
02:41It sounds like you need to get him doing some.
02:42You need to go take him, do some fun stuff.
02:44Go to the zoo.
02:44Go to do, gotta do some stuff.
02:45I'm just supposed to quit my job and just go on the weekends and stuff.
02:49You know?
02:50He starts summer school next week.
02:52Yeah, he has to do it in the perfect day.
02:53Oh, well, then you're good.
02:54But he says he doesn't want to go to summer school, which makes no sense.
02:56Oh, he'll.
02:56He'll.
02:57He'll make no sense.
02:57He'll go to summer school.
02:58Everything will be fine.
02:59You think that'll just solve the problems?
03:00He'll see people.
03:01He'll make new friends.
03:02All good.
03:02I arranged for him to hang out with a friend on Thursday.
03:04Perfect.
03:04One of the three he was disappointed in not seeing.
03:06Perfect.
03:07I did all I could do, which is I just sent an email to a teacher and said, will you
03:09just share my number and email with these three students?
03:13Parents.
03:14And if they text me, then they text me.
03:16You know?
03:16Like, it is what it is.
03:17And one did.
03:18So, problem solved, I guess.
03:20He's only been out of school for like four days.
03:21Someone says it'll be three days and then it'll be on to summer.
03:23It's been longer than three days already.
03:25Yeah.
03:25Someone else just said, give him the tough love.
03:28Tell him to get over it.
03:29And it's like, we all have to say goodbye to the people we like.
03:33Eight.
03:34Hey, seven.
03:35I don't have to like, he doesn't have to be, he doesn't have to be beat down by
03:38the, by life.
03:39Like the rest of us.
03:40Yeah.
03:41You know, he could still enjoy some levity.
03:43All right.
03:44Let's talk about the off season in the AFC West.
03:46So ESPN went through and they were going through the AFC teams, best and worst
03:50deals and in picks.
03:51And I understandably so we'll lock in on the AFC West here, given the chiefs
03:55division.
03:55And I'm curious if you guys view some of these moves by teams in their division
04:00the same way as ESPN did.
04:03So for example, they list for the AFC West, the best move for the Broncos, they
04:09said was re-signing JK Dobbins.
04:11And we all know the story with him when he's healthy, he's very, very effective.
04:15Is he the best re-signing though?
04:17Like here were the three signings overall.
04:19So for JK Dobbins, for the Broncos represented best re-signing for the chiefs.
04:23Best move.
04:24They said was signing.
04:25Uh, I'm going to butcher his last name.
04:27Cater.
04:27Kohu.
04:28Is it Kohu?
04:29Kohu.
04:30I think we looked this up.
04:31Yeah.
04:31Yeah.
04:31That sounds right.
04:31Uh, so that, that's who they listed.
04:33And then for the Bronco or for the, uh, the Raiders, I'm sorry, Eric Stokes.
04:38Okay.
04:38And then for the chargers, they said the, uh, the oddest, the, uh, the center or whatever, uh,
04:43uh, that they signed from the, honestly, as much as sinners were going for this off season,
04:46that probably is one of the better ones.
04:48I actually think that given their old line injuries, that is probably the best of the
04:52bunch.
04:53JK Dobbins is really effective.
04:54He just can't stay healthy.
04:55I mean, when he was healthy though, um, in, in, this is since 2020, he's been 30 yards per
05:00carry ninth and success rate, second and explosive play ride.
05:04He just doesn't stay healthy.
05:06Look, I think if you go back through and you look at what these teams needed to do, the chargers
05:10had to have somebody on the offensive line.
05:12And they like, but it's a JK Dobbins part.
05:14If he plays more than 10 games, I'll agree with you, but one of the odds that's going
05:18to happen again, he is successful, but it also goes back to, doesn't that make, in a
05:23lot of ways, the RJ Harvey pick a lot worse.
05:25Cause I'll say like, as much as I said earlier, players do not really slowly develop, not, not
05:31develop, just slowly develop as in they are nothing and turn into something very often,
05:35but they don't, I don't think they like RJ Harvey as much as the day they picked him.
05:39And that's part of the reason that JK Dobbins pick feels important because I think that
05:44a decent part of their run game does hinge on the fact that they need two guys or someone
05:50to compliment.
05:51Yeah.
05:51Dobbins played in 10 games last year and 13 the year before.
05:54They need somebody to compliment RJ Harvey and Dobbins is good for that.
06:00The problem is, is like, he's always heard at the end of the season, starts healthy plays
06:03there.
06:04And then by the time you need them and a playoff time, and you might actually want those things
06:07coming into play could absolutely be there.
06:10The worst, by the way, moves that they suggested are for the chiefs.
06:14They said that it was not addressing wide receiver in any way for the Broncos.
06:18They said it was not addressing the departure of John Franklin Myers and beefing back up
06:23the defensive line.
06:24That was so good last year.
06:26And I don't blame them for that.
06:2714 and a half sacks.
06:28Yeah.
06:28And that, that the only significant upgrade that the Raiders had made was Jalen Naylor.
06:33They did not do anything.
06:34The Raiders wide receiver room.
06:35It's embarrassing.
06:36It is kind of crazy for a team that spent their number one overall pick on a quarterback that
06:41may not start week one.
06:42Again, it could be Kirk cousins week one.
06:44I tend to think it will, but yeah, the receiver room.
06:46I mean, Jack Beck is your number one receiver on Trey Tucker.
06:50I mean, it's, we know Brock Bowers is their number one receiving option, but he's a tight
06:54end.
06:54He's not a wide receiver.
06:55So correct.
06:56It is, it is kind of bizarre.
06:59And that particular receiving room has got a lot of work, a lot, a lot of work to go for
07:04the Raiders in year one for Clay Kubiak.
07:06I think the single biggest flub from the chargers was they cast just like a huge wide net at guard
07:11and didn't actually try to solve it.
07:13They've got hurt, unavailable tackles, a thousand guards, none of which they know who's going
07:19to start and at least somewhat security at center.
07:22That's an offensive line that, you know, can't be solved unless everything goes right.
07:29Like they're going to have problems.
07:30If even one thing goes wrong in the offensive line, I would also say that somewhere on their
07:33list has got to be similar to the chiefs wide receiver.
07:35What did they do to really address wide receiver?
07:38Did they, did they make some huge moves to solve their problem?
07:41And they just banking on Quentin Johnson, Ladd McConkie solving it again.
07:44Did they take one in the first couple of rounds?
07:47The chargers?
07:48I'm looking.
07:50And even so, if it's like mid second round or later, that's like a 50, 50 shot there.
07:54Vernon Thompson.
07:54They, they took from Mississippi state.
07:56Oh, the water.
07:57In the second.
07:58Uh, fourth round.
07:59It was fourth.
08:00Yeah, that's, I mean, he was the guy that ran four to six 40.
08:04Yeah, but we know this.
08:05If you're a fourth round wide receiver, what do you got?
08:07What, what's the chance rate of you going over 400 yards?
08:10Uh, probably not good.
08:12They also had Trey Harris.
08:13They also have Trey Harris who they drafted from last year's team or who they drafted last
08:18year in the second round.
08:19So presumably playing, but worse Quentin Johnson, Trey Harrison, Ladd McConkie, does it all be
08:23better?
08:23They don't even have Keenan Allen to backfill.
08:25They've technically gotten worse at wide receiver versus gotten better.
08:29I think that's where they're expecting Trey Harris to step up.
08:31Because in terms of body build size there, he's similar to, um, Keenan.
08:36Yeah.
08:36They're also just changing a little bit of their offensive philosophy.
08:38Yes.
08:39It's still a hardball coach.
08:40It's still a hardball coach team and there's limitations with, but Mike McDaniel comes in.
08:45They now are going to run more multiple tight end sets.
08:47Joku with Gadsden.
08:48Maybe they're going to lean more on the tight ends and the running game than they did in
08:51the past.
08:52They might.
08:52And look the, but that's the other part I've talked about this before.
08:55Is it good for Justin Herbert that it is, you know, five years of being a starting quarterback
09:00that he's had like four different offensive coordinators, three different offensive schemes.
09:03Of course it's not good.
09:04Like, you know, like, and he's overcome some of that and put up some good numbers versus
09:08better numbers than, you know, Trevor Lawrence put in Jacksonville when they kept doing the
09:11same thing to him or Baker Mayfield when they kept doing the same thing to him or what
09:15they're starting to do with Jaden Daniels.
09:17I don't understand.
09:18Sometimes we talk about these organizations like we can't question them because Alex and I didn't
09:23play high school football or something.
09:24That always seems to be the person on the text line.
09:26We didn't play high school tight end so we can have no idea on how to successfully run
09:30a franchise.
09:30And yet these idiots keep changing systems for these quarterbacks, putting them in
09:36disadvantageous positions, not getting them qualified wide receivers to maybe assist in
09:40this department.
09:41Some of it's the obvious stuff.
09:42I'm not trying to claim I can draw a route tree out for Lad McConkie.
09:45What I'm saying is I can understand that Justin Herbert might need some help and they have
09:50done very little in that department.
09:52Matter of fact, the Chiefs have the second best wide receiver unit in the division by
09:55a mile.
09:56It's not a close second.
09:59Third and fourth are distant in my opinion, based on what the Chargers have done at wide
10:03receiver and the Raiders being their distant fourth.
10:06There's even a bigger gap between three and four.
10:08Yeah, I told you.
10:08I think the Broncos going out and getting Jalen Watt.
10:10I told you that's one of my favorite moves of the entire offseason.
10:12That was a move.
10:13I was very interested in the Chiefs making it was smart.
10:15Yeah, it really is.
10:16I know there's questions still about Bo Nix, but that makes sense.
10:18Why not help him out?
10:19And that's what they're doing.
10:20They're going and adding another weapon for Bo Nix to that offense.
10:23And they have Jalen Watt to go with Cortland Sutton.
10:25The Chargers are in a weird spot, though, because the defense was so it was good, but
10:28it was so old that they had to revamp it.
10:31And as a result, the wide receiver room just kind of I mean, they have drafted.
10:36I'm looking now.
10:36They've drafted six wide receivers in the last three years.
10:39In particular, they've drafted four in the last two.
10:42So it's not like they haven't addressed it, but they haven't necessarily developed into
10:47what you would expect from the investment.
10:49I mean, Ladd was a second round pick.
10:51He's been fine for a second round pick player.
10:53Yeah.
10:53Ladd bouncing back.
10:54That actually maybe seemed like the most reliable thing in their entire wide receiver
10:57plan.
10:58Ladd is going back to rookie year.
11:00That's what I was going to ask.
11:00He's like, what do we think he is now?
11:02I mean, year one, he burst on the scene almost 1200 yards last year.
11:07He plays every game.
11:08I mean, he's healthy, but 807, 89, he had 800 yards, let's call it.
11:13There's a big difference between 800 yards and 1200 yards.
11:16Yeah.
11:16And Quinn Johnson, the first eight weeks of the season looked like the guy that they
11:19thought they drafted.
11:20Quinn Johnson was awesome the first month and a half.
11:22And then he kind of just tailed off.
11:24They're almost kind of like the Packers.
11:25They just got a group of twos and threes.
11:28That's a fair comp.
11:30I would say they don't have a one.
11:32I think the Packers wide receiver room is honestly even better than the Chargers one,
11:35but it just, there's a collection of number twos and threes.
11:38And then you get David and Joku over and they got Gadsden still over there.
11:42I mean, it's yeah.
11:43The Packers have Christian Watson, Matthew Golden, and Jane Reed.
11:46Matthew Golden, everybody hyped up big time heading into last season.
11:49He Jaden Reed, of course, is Jaden Reed is their guy essentially, but even Jaden Reed
11:54is probably a number two.
11:55Yeah.
11:56Golden had 350 yards.
11:57I mean, it was just, yeah, he was not as good as he was hurt for some time too.
12:00I thought, but also playing 14.
12:02Oh, okay.
12:02Only my, he still might not have been.
12:04And yeah, healthy.
12:05He missed a couple of games.
12:06I guess I thought they also, the Packers also, you there, there, it is interesting
12:09because the, and I don't know if it make Daniels from the McVay tree or if he's
12:13from the Shanahan tree, I guess Shanahan.
12:15Okay.
12:16I'm just, just because the Packers use tight ends.
12:19Like Tucker craft is one of the best tight ends in football.
12:21Last year, the Chargers used Gadsden a solid amount.
12:24They bring in David and Joku.
12:25I wonder if there's a, that's fair.
12:27Stylistically, they'll look kind of similar.
12:29Didn't craft get hurt in like November or something and suffer a season-ending injury.
12:32Yeah, he did.
12:33He was awesome though, when he was healthy.
12:34Tucker craft is really, really good.
12:35I mean, it's very cool.
12:36The minute the Chargers signed David and Joku, I think it told us like, no, that what, what
12:40they're planning on doing to, it's not that they, it's not that they, it's not that they
12:44don't think Gadsden's any good.
12:46It's just, they want to have two legitimate receiving options.
12:49They also brought in Charlie Kolar from Baltimore.
12:51So they, they added two tight ends in for agency.
12:52It's just so crazy the way you think about it.
12:54According to their depth chart, at least.
12:54Like the way we talk about these players, because tight ends is so thin a position.
12:57Can we not pretend like David and Joku's Travis Kelsey or Brock Bowers or any of these other
13:01guys either?
13:02His single best year was 882 yards.
13:04His next best was 600.
13:06He's only done that three times, 600 or more.
13:09Other than that, he's more likely to get 200 or 300 than he is 600 yards.
13:14So like, I don't want to like Browns make any, uh, make you change your opinion.
13:17I don't know if anything, I feel like they throw to the tight end more in a lot of ways
13:20because they can't get past the line of scrimmage, but fair enough, drew.
13:23It's not like they've had a high level quarterback play to go with it.
13:27And Gatson, another guy who finished like a perfectly fine tight end to have 650, wasn't
13:32he?
13:32Yeah.
13:33A perfectly fine tight end to have, but like not hasn't taken that step to the issue they
13:37ran into with, with Gatson last year, later in the years, because the old line injuries,
13:41they had a, they, they had a, he wasn't a great blocker.
13:44They had to take him off the field and because they needed extra help on the offensive line.
13:47So that's what I'll be curious.
13:48It's got to be a great blocker in a Kyle Shanahan led play action, double tight end run scheme.
13:54You're so like, they actually care more.
13:56Maybe if you block than catch, like you can catch, but you can just be the unnamed random,
14:01uh, Rams tight end who just like, you know, gets his 25 yards, but also had three big blocks
14:07and a touchdown.
14:07Does it make it harder for you to defend a team that's got a bunch of number twos who
14:11are all going to get the ball?
14:12Or is it easier to, is it easier to, I fell into that trap as a Kansas.
14:16We spent a lot of time in this town.
14:20And the only reason I say this is true is I would have probably agreed with you three
14:23years, three years ago, but I spent a lot of time on this show and convincing myself
14:27that, Oh, the chiefs are loaded a wide receiver because essentially no weaknesses.
14:30They go five or six deep.
14:32Look at all these twos and threes.
14:33And it's not the way to live.
14:35You'd rather have Justin Jefferson.
14:37I agree.
14:38Five dudes.
14:38You've never heard of then have five twos.
14:42Genuinely.
14:42You would, you would rather have Jamar chase and, uh, for Jalen, it doesn't matter as bad
14:50as you want to go down the depth chart.
14:51I'd rather have Justin Watson fought four times over in Justin Jefferson than four twos.
14:56I've made, I've just made the mistake.
14:57And I think gold, we've talked about this on the show in years past.
15:00We may be both had fallen into that trap.
15:01It's an easy trap to fall into.
15:03You think you're deep, but then it turns out nobody can get open against man coverage.
15:06And then it's a problem.
15:09Last year's chiefs team, two years ago, chief team, three years ago, chief team run into these
15:12problems.
15:13They just didn't have enough guys who just got open.
15:14And Tyreek, you can, now you're naming off names.
15:16I'm laughing.
15:17I'm smirking.
15:17Cause I'm remembering two years ago.
15:20Remember when I was very high entering the season on Richie James, I was a believer.
15:28I had way too much Richie James stock.
15:30That was a good time.
15:31That was a fun off season.
15:33I was convinced he was going to have 500 yards.
15:34The guy barely got on the field.
15:36He got hurt too.
15:37Did he did that?
15:38That kind of killed it right away.
15:39He got hurt in like week two or three.
15:40That is fair.
15:41But he was never going to, not to give you a total pass, but we all make mistakes.
15:44He got hurt immediately.
15:46And then I think like, I don't even know if he, he never played in the NFL again.
15:49I'm not even kidding.
15:51He has not taken a single NFL snap since the nine games he played for the chiefs in which
15:56he got 114 yards and zero.
15:58I was close.
15:59I was real close, real close.
16:02In fairness, the guy had 600 yards for the giants the year before, you know, and it was
16:06the old, this is the other trap we fall into a lot is jurors.
16:09You're like, well, he was with a bad quarterback.
16:10So in joke, we'll put a better stats here.
16:11That's just not how it works.
16:12Sometimes sometimes they put a good stats with a bad quarterback because there's literally
16:17nobody else to throw to on their ass team.
16:20And then he gets around other wide receivers who can hypothetically get open.
16:23And then I was down because he's yeah.
16:25Yeah.
16:25Yeah.
16:25I mean, that happens.
16:26That's crazy.
16:27I was out of the league after 2023.
16:28Just said he's never played.
16:30I'm looking at his pro football reference page.
16:32The last snap he played for was the chief.
16:34He just like done.
16:36Okay.
16:36Do you want a Super Bowl that year?
16:372023.
16:38That wasn't a Super Bowl year.
16:40Nope.
16:40Didn't even get a Super Bowl.
16:41Damn.
16:42Because one year in Kansas City, three in San Francisco, one with the Giants, one in Kansas
16:46City.
16:46All right.
16:46Real quick.
16:47How much money do you think Richie James made in his NF?
16:50No, I think you're way too high.
16:51Oh, wait.
16:51What round pick was he?
16:53He's going to give it away if I tell you it was right.
16:54It's way too, way too.
16:55Oh, okay.
16:56Well, he probably made like eight.
16:56He's a seventh round pick.
16:58Eight.
16:58Oh, you make eight million.
17:00Yeah.
17:01Five million dollars.
17:02I hope he took care of his cash.
17:04Yep.
17:04Five million.
17:05He made his most money in his final year in the league with the Chiefs.
17:08One.
17:08We made a couple 1.2 million with the Chiefs, one million with the Giants, and then, you
17:14know, half a million dollars the first couple of years in the league with the Niners.
17:17What do you think he's officially retired?
17:18What do you think he's up to these days?
17:20I used to follow him on Instagram.
17:21I don't think I do anymore.
17:23Oh, he retired.
17:24On July 19th of 2025, Richie James retired from professional football, citing a knee injury that
17:29never healed properly.
17:30Well, that would explain that.
17:32Dang.
17:32So, I don't know what he's up to these days.
17:34Hope you're doing well, Richie.
17:35Shout out Richie James.
17:36Sorry it didn't work out in Kansas City.
17:38I wish we had a Richie James autograph piece for the Cody and Gold Garage sale now, but
17:43LRZ will have to do.
17:44Luis Rees-Amit.
17:45We've got a luxurious need one.
17:46That's a legit one.
17:47I will say one of the items I took a photo of today.
17:49If you guys are saying, hey, what kind of things could I be expecting to bid on at
17:53the Cody and Gold Garage sale coming up on Wednesday, June 10th.
17:57One day bidding only, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
18:00What kind of things would be available?
18:01I told you to start the show.
18:02I was given some stadium banners of some Royals players.
18:06Jake Eisenberg experience in which you can watch the broadcast for an inning is going to
18:09be available.
18:10But he's also offered up game-worn ballys in Fox Sports.
18:17Broadcast-worn.
18:17Broadcast-worn.
18:19Clothing items worn by Jake Eisenberg.
18:21He said, rest assured they've been washed.
18:23And I said, somebody might be into it if it wasn't.
18:25So you've got to be careful, Jake.
18:27It works both ways.
18:28But also, like, things like that.
18:29One of the jerseys that's available is a Chris Young World Series patch jersey.
18:36Yeah.
18:36I was like, man, someone went out and really purchased that.
18:39So that's available in the Cody and Gold Garage.
18:41We'd like to offer you a variety of higher-end items because we want to raise as much money
18:44as possible for the museum and the things that made the garage sale great.
18:48And who doesn't need a Chris Young World Series jersey in their life?
18:52And all proceeds benefit the Negro Leagues Baseball Museum.
18:55100% of the proceeds go to the museum to support them.
18:58And I think more than ever, it's important.
19:00They're obviously working on building this brand-new, beautiful, state-of-the-art facility
19:04and museum.
19:04Yes.
19:05And a cool project.
19:05And it's so cool.
19:06So that is coming up next month.
19:08We're what?
19:08Two weeks out?
19:09Right?
19:10Two weeks from today?
19:10Is that right?
19:11Yeah.
19:12Two weeks from tomorrow?
19:13Two weeks from tomorrow, I'm sorry.
19:14Two weeks from tomorrow.
19:14But we're getting close.
19:16Hoping to have the website up maybe a little bit later this week so you can start taking
19:19a look at some of those items as they get added.
19:21And you get a sense of what are some of the things available from you.
19:25Someone says, we want street-worn J-Clothes.
19:27What, you want to just give him something out of his closet?
19:30That he wore at a coffee shop in Seattle.
19:33He said he'll bring in coffee maybe or he can do a separate experience for coffee.
19:38I think we should actually have him like a cameo because he's so descriptive with his
19:42play-by-play.
19:43He will, Jake, I'm volunteering you this for this.
19:46He will describe your clothing for the day.
19:49You know?
19:49He'll just describe your clothing.
19:52You know, like, I'm here with Steve.
19:54Steve's wearing blue jeans, white socks, blue shoes with a white strap.
20:00They're Adidas.
20:01That's right.
20:01And he just goes through the whole thing.
20:02That's what he does.
20:04Yeah.
20:04Interesting.
20:05You know, we'll have stuff.
20:06We'll have stuff with Dusty.
20:08We'll have stuff, hopefully, with Bink.
20:09We'll have stuff for you.
20:10Like, some of the experiences are with us.
20:12I will remind you.
20:13This is one thing that's unique to our garage sale versus other experiences you might pay for
20:17in a charity thing.
20:18So, for instance, you get a tab, like, you can get a gift certificate to Kelly's, and
20:23you and I can hang out with a special guest with me, a special guest, and you and another
20:27person.
20:29I'm using part of that tab.
20:32I want to be clear that whatever money that is, that's minus whatever I want.
20:37Golden, we've done that for you, too.
20:39We're hoping to get lots of stuff.
20:40Maybe golf with Drew and the producers.
20:42It'll be fun stuff.
20:43You'll see it all up there here soon enough.
20:45We'll always have those things.
20:48We love doing the garage sale, and so I want you guys to get a sense of the items.
20:52I really have started taking a lot of photos.
20:54That LRZ helmet, I think it's going to go for big money.
20:57I'm trying to pin Joshua Briscoe and Nate Taylor against each other.
20:59They both want it.
21:01So, I'm trying to get them pitted against each other to drive up the price.
21:04Does that seem like a fair way to go about it?
21:08Doesn't seem all that fair.
21:09Someone says, is there a Cody and Gold Strip Club experience?
21:11There is not.
21:15There is not.
21:16Would you agree to do that?
21:17Lance texting in?
21:18Maybe.
21:19Would you agree to do that if a local establishment offered it?
21:26I feel like for a charity website, it is for charity.
21:29Yes.
21:30For charity, I'll go to a strip club.
21:32Yeah.
21:33I'll do it for charity.
21:34You got a kind heart.
21:35You know?
21:36I'll sit there.
21:36I'll get a laugh dance for charity.
21:38If that's what someone has to do on this show, I'll bite the bullet, I guess.
21:41If somebody has to do it.
21:43Oh, man.
21:44By the way, who wants to go to a strip club with me?
21:48Or anybody?
21:50You want to pay to then have to go to a strip club to watch me get a lap dance
21:53as well?
21:53That's weird.
21:55That's weird.
21:55I feel like if we go to a restaurant or a bar, you can talk to me about sports.
21:59Yeah.
21:59I feel like we can just hang out and talk about life.
22:02It feels like there.
22:04It feels awkward for everybody.
22:06I just don't know.
22:07Yeah.
22:08I mean.
22:09Okay.
22:09Not if you're James Harden.
22:11Someone said they would buy it right now.
22:13Right now?
22:14They would buy it right now.
22:17If you'll commit a grand.
22:19If you'll commit a grand to charity, I will meet you at a strip club in Kansas City.
22:25If you'll commit a grand to the museum.
22:28Somebody says, is this for charity?
22:30Over on Twitch, they said for charity or from a gal named Charity?
22:33Which of the two?
22:34That's a cash over on Twitch.
22:37Oh, my goodness.
22:39Most people said they're in.
22:40Okay.
22:41Look, if that's what we need to get us an extra grand or so, I'll do what I have to
22:44do.
22:44We're trying to raise money for the museum, okay?
22:46That might not have to be a publicly listed item, but one we just agree to as a one-off.
22:52Do you think whoever gave us that bottle of Dom for our Jordan Lyles?
22:56Who was that from?
22:57Pure.
22:58Pure.
22:58Right?
22:59Do you think they'd set you up?
23:00Someone said, nope, I'm out.
23:01Not good for $1,000.
23:05Somebody else might be.
23:08Again, we're just trying to raise money for charity.
23:11Up next.
23:12That feels very below board.
23:14It just does.
23:15We're about board.
23:16Why is that below board?
23:18It's a legitimate establishment.
23:20It's a legitimate business.
23:21Supporting the local economy.
23:24Stooped to certain levels.
23:25Strip club experience.
23:26Coming to the Cody and Gold garage sale.
23:28I can't.
23:28I know.
23:28I know I know.
