01:28really great legs. Not surprisingly, like, oh my God, but he has really great legs. As a matter of fact,
01:34you are dressed perfectly for the occasion. Oh, good. But I do have a few friends that I would like
01:39to ring out. Come on out, girls.
01:43Oh, good. See, they are wearing swimsuits, too. Oh, I feel better. So designers, if you can't guess, your next
01:54challenge is all about swimwear.
01:57I've made swimwear before. I'm from the Caribbean, so swimwear is very much a part of our daily life. I'm
02:04all about the bikini, the straight bikini, all that good stuff on a woman's body. I'm game.
02:18Cornelius. What? Yeah. I don't know about this one. Have you not designed a swimsuit before? Never in my life.
02:25I do believe that the perfect swimsuit has the power to transform a woman's confidence. It's true. And for this
02:32challenge, you are to create a swimsuit and a cover-up inspired by my new line, Heidi Klum Swim.
02:38Designers, to help take your looks to the next level, you will each create your own custom printed textile. You
02:46will be working with technical experts from Cornete Digital and Papilio Prints, who will assist you with the design and
02:52print process.
02:53And once your prints are designed, we will go to Mood, where you will each have a budget of $100,
02:59and you will have one day for this challenge.
03:02Not only is it swimwear, but we have to design a cover-up and a print in one day. Fantastic.

04:09I want to do some type of African print. I'm inspired by the Rasta colors first, and then I begin
04:14using different shapes to make it all come together.
04:17Oh, I should just brush it in. I knew I wanted to do a black and white check, something abstract
04:21and Escher-inspired. I'm loving it.
04:25For my textile, I want to make a retro-inspired stripe out of this girl lying on a beach towel.
04:32Yeah, kind of like offset it like that. I don't go to the beach too often, and when I do,
04:37I'm not usually in the water.
04:38So when I think about where my girl is going to be wearing my bikini to, I think that she
04:43might just be going to a pool party and hanging out by the smoked meat.

25:29Trying to use the form of the wings the
25:32Overpiece is a piece made with silk crepe to complement the color of the swimsuit
25:38Well, I really liked your print. I also felt that the shape of your cover-up was really beautiful
25:45Simple but effective looked expensive looked very well made. I think this is excellent work from you

26:20Um, so I created a print that was roster colors. I ended up doing a bikini top
26:26So my girl is just having fun on the Caribbean cruise the print reminds me of a menu in a
26:32Japanese restaurant
26:34She said that too and the cover-up this is not helping your print
26:38It just looks like the tablecloth underneath the menu of the Japanese restaurant
26:42I think it would have worked that print better if it actually had been on a fabric in a vintage
26:47type style dress
26:48It wasn't a must-have bathing suit for me. It's kind of feels like it's already out there in the
26:54world
26:55I think you should have owned your print and
26:58Done the cover-up in the print to me. It just looks like a robe
27:04Rick so I knew I wanted to do something very organic with geometric in a checkered shape really classic
27:09And I wanted to just give it a full look be very versatile with the pants and the cover-up
27:13and the top and just accentuate

28:48Bathing suit coupled with the sweetness of the color, right? It just doesn't work
28:53So this was not one of my favorites. I was not a fan of this Miss Piggy meets the Golden

29:01You know, it's so sporty on top and then kind of a little slutty on the bottom. It just feels

29:08It is very old lady, right here
29:11We're going back in time and I have no problem with going back in time
29:14But at the same time you have to make it now and here I feel like to be honest

29:22Really went through the dossier and took a look at what your line was and I saw the subtlety of
29:28the prints and the bathing suit
29:30I wanted to do something that was a little bit more covered also
29:33I love the cover-ups and I loved all of the bodies that were multi versatile to every woman and

36:12I feel like most designs that we've seen from a Ruberi are very elegant and sophisticated

36:23I have to say I love Rick. I love his total look. She looks sophisticated. It's fashionable
36:29That's a clever cover-up pants. Yeah, we're Rick's is polished and sophisticated
36:35Alex's is bohemian and effortless, right? It's a completely different girl. Yeah, but he sent down the runway today was
