00:14Oh, my gosh.
00:18Oh, my gosh.
00:19Oh, my gosh.
00:20Please, no.
00:21Hi, guys.
00:23Hi.
00:24It seems like you were just here.
00:26Oh, wait.
00:27You were.
00:28Ha, ha.
00:29Hi, guys.
00:30Designers, we asked you to come down to the runway immediately because you have somewhere to be.
00:36Oh, my gosh.
00:38But first, let's get to your next challenge.
00:41This challenge is very important to me.
00:44You'll be creating a sleepwear look for my Heidi Klum intimate sleepwear line.
00:49Oh, wow.
00:50You can create any type of sleepwear.
00:53The biggest rule?
00:54Make it fashionable.
00:55You are also going to be creating your own textile.
01:00Yes.
01:01By hand.
01:02This is what I've been waiting for.
01:04And there's a lot on the line for you.
01:07Okay.
01:07The winner of this challenge will have their entire look reproduced and sold as part of my Heidi Klum intimate
01:13sleepwear collection.
01:15Yay.
01:17Okay, I need to win.
01:18It's literally Heidi Klum intimates.
01:20I mean, what better way to kind of get your name out there?
01:23Now, for where we are sending you for inspiration.
01:29We thought it would be fun for you to have the slumber party in one of New York's most iconic
01:35locations.
01:39The Empire State Building!
01:41Yay!
01:44That's insane.
01:46That's, like, super exciting.
01:47It's, like, a crazy thing.
01:48No one's ever done it before.
01:50You'll need a key, and I have it.
01:52Oh!
01:54You're sleeping on top of the Empire State Building!
01:59Claire, are you nervous or are you excited?
02:01That building is very tall.
02:03You're going all the way up.
02:05Yep!
02:06This is gonna be horrible!
02:08So, there is a backpack for each of you.
02:12Come and get it.
02:13Inside, you'll find pajamas and your sketching materials.
02:16Ooh!
02:17There's me!
02:18That's fine!
02:19And your models have been assigned to each of you.
02:22You'll find their card in your sketchbook.
02:25Brandon, you won the last challenge, which means you have immunity and you cannot be eliminated.
02:29Sounds good.
02:30And, Brandon, I'm giving you the key.
02:33There you go.
02:34It's a big responsibility.
02:36Brandon, key with the key.
02:38I can't wait to get up there and have a slumber party at the Empire State Building.
02:41I wish you all good luck and sleep well tonight.
02:45Under the stars and bright lights of New York City!
02:48Yay!
02:50And I will see you in the morning.
02:52Have fun!
02:53Off we go!
03:07Amazing!
03:09Yeah, the ceiling's beautiful, y'all.
03:11Let's go to the top.
03:14The ground is beautiful.
03:16The walls are beautiful.
03:17I love art deco.
03:19It's so elegant.
03:21There's inspiration everywhere you look.
03:23This way.
03:23This way.
03:24Let's do it.
03:2786th floor.
03:28Here we go.
03:29Are you, like, hugging the wall, Claire?
03:31I'm like...
03:31No, I am not that bad.
03:33Excited!
03:35Oh, my God!
03:41Oh, my God!
03:41Oh, my God!
03:42Check it out.
03:43Check it out.
03:45I'm on the top of the world!
03:47I'll never forget this site, ever.
03:5122 minutes left, suckers.
03:53Oh, I have Christina!
03:54Oh, she's a cutie.
03:56I have Janine.
03:58Nice, nice.
03:59I got Jasmine.
04:00Okay, Jasmine, let's work this out.
04:02I'm a bit nervous.
04:03Never done sleepwear before.
04:05I hope it don't look too much like a dress.
04:08Here's something that I have to try to figure out.
04:11And please, Heidi.
04:13I instantly get inspired by the Chrysler Building.
04:17With the angles and the art deco,
04:19I think of a Harlem Renaissance dress.
04:22Harlem Renaissance was more about sexuality and fluidity,
04:26so I think that is so fitting for this challenge.
04:31I don't know what I'm doing.
04:34All right, nap time, everybody.
04:37Can you believe that we are sleeping on the top of the world?
04:41Once in a lifetime.
04:43I am in disbelief that I'm experiencing something like this.
04:48This was just for us, and I feel like that's really special.
04:51Good night!
04:52We love you!
04:53We love you!
04:54Woo!
05:15Designers, good morning.
05:16Woo!
05:18Rise and shine.
05:19We have a busy day ahead of us.
05:21And I have breakfast sandwiches for everyone.
05:24Yay!
05:25Yay!
05:26Tim's just standing there with a bag of sandwiches
05:29in the most beautiful double-breasted suit
05:31with, like, four-and-a-half-inch lapels.
05:33I'm like, how does this man do it?
05:35All right, designers.
05:37You ready to head back to the workroom?
05:39Yeah!
05:40All right, everyone.
05:41Off we go.
05:49Hi, Kim.
05:50Hi, everyone.
05:51You have 11 hours in the workroom.
05:54Heidi and I will be in at 11.30, all right?
05:57Your models will be in at 5.30.
06:00Your textiles, all selected by Heidi, are over here.
06:04We have plenty of materials over here for you to make your prints.
06:09I will see you later with Heidi.
06:11All right.
06:11Have fun with this challenge, all right?
06:13All right.
06:13See you later.
06:15Bye!
06:18Ow!
06:19Whoa, guys, chill.
06:20Chill, chill, chill.
06:20Chill, chill, chill.
06:22Hashtag drama.
06:27This is a one-day challenge, and they've given us a lot of dyes and paints to create our own
06:33textiles using different hand techniques.
06:36You look like you know what you're doing over there.
06:38I'm making a bunch of tests.
06:40Well, I kind of jumped right on in, so if this don't work, I don't naff it up.
06:44You're going to make it work.
06:52It's a different shade of print.
06:54Okay, I'm just fine.
06:54You both know what you're doing already.
06:56I'm going to do a long jumpsuit.
06:59The first thing I want to do is to generate this Art Deco-esque print that I want to put
07:04all over the entire jumpsuit.
07:06Oy, oy, oy.
07:07Okay, we're not doing that.
07:09It's only, you know, a few hours until Addie Klum's critique, so I'm, like, freaking out.
07:15Hopefully I'll be able to show them something much better this time, and we'll see.
07:21I'm sweating the day.
07:24There's the snagging.
07:26This fabric sucks so bad.
07:28I think all the designers right now are just freaking out because we all know how specific Kyrie can be,
07:35and since the textile is very specific, if she hates it, you could be going home.
07:41We're coming in, like, one hour.
07:42I know.
07:48Coming up on Project Runway.
07:50Something's wrong.
07:51I see a menstrual cycle.
07:53Less chatting, more working.
07:54You're looking at me like...
07:56It's a make-it-work time.
07:58There's some design here.
08:00Deco Cleopatra.
08:01It's beautiful.
08:02The shape is so nothing.
08:04Thank goodness you're wearing underpants.
08:06Show me what is sexy about this.
08:15This week's challenge is to create a look inspired by the Empire State Building for Heidi's intimate sleepwear collection.
08:23We need to create our own textiles through either dyeing or painting or some sort of hands-done technique.
08:28Would anyone like hash browns?
08:30The prize for the challenge is that she will mass-produce and manufacture the winning garment.
08:37Oh, yeah.
08:39Finally getting somewhere.
08:41Oh, yeah.
08:42I have a question for you.
08:44What's your question, boo-boo?
08:45What do you think of this color?
08:46That might be kind of...
08:47Nasty.
08:48Do you like the size?
08:50Yeah.
08:50Am I your Tim Gunn?
08:52Maybe.
08:52Can she be my Tim Gunn?
08:53No.
08:54Tim Gunn is Tim Gunn.
08:55Of course.
08:56This is the first time I've ever painted fabric.
08:59My idea for creating my textile...
09:03Oh, man.
09:07It looks like a craft project, so I pretty much scratched everything.
09:14Good morning!
09:16Look who I have!
09:18Are you ready for Heidi to check in with you?
09:20Yes, indeed.
09:21Let's have a look.
09:24This is actually quite remarkable.
09:26She has something on a form she never has for me.
09:28Hi, Shawn.
09:29Hi there.
09:30Hi.
09:30Tim said he's surprised that you even have anything on the dress form.
09:33I'm pleased.
09:33I'm a bit slower than others.
09:35I'm a slower sewer.
09:36I'm indecisive.
09:38Or are you a little bit over there chatty, chatty, chatty with your fellow designers?
09:42Because you two love to chat.
09:44Oh, we certainly do.
09:45Less chatting, more working.
09:48I was wanting to do a full body jumpsuit.
09:51And how do you get in and out of it?
09:52Because in the middle of the night, you have to run to the toilet all the time.
09:55And you don't want buttons where you're like...
09:57Right, right.
09:58I can't get out and I pee in my pants!
10:01I don't disagree with what she's saying, but my game plan is to really deliver something
10:05that is 100% me.
10:08Thank you, Shawn.
10:11Hello.
10:12For this challenge, I'm not doing a modest look.
10:15Why not?
10:16We don't wear all this inside.
10:18Inside, we prefer to wear a little less.
10:21Wow.
10:21So she's basically see-through everywhere, just the boobies are covered.
10:26Check you out!
10:30I just want to do something soft and flowy and sexy.
10:32What do you wear to bed?
10:34Is that a weird question?
10:35I don't know.
10:36So I'm making sort of a kimono robe.
10:38This is also very pretty.
10:40Now, would you see this on the bottom?
10:42I don't know.
10:43I see a menstrual cycle.
10:45You do?
10:46Yes.
10:47Hi, Michael.
10:48Hello.
10:49What's happening here?
10:51This is all going to be straps.
10:52So you have to also think about getting into it, right?
10:55So that it's not like a cobweb and you're like stuck.
10:58And it's like really tricky to get into it.
11:00Believe me, I've made many of those pieces that are just like, you need a map.
11:03Also, I think a little bit longer is a little bit more elegant.
11:06You know, I wanted it to work not just in the bedroom.
11:09Yeah.
11:10But make a really fashionable piece.
11:12Yeah.
11:13I've been safe this whole time and it's time for me to be on top.
11:16Thank you, Michael.
11:17Thank you guys.
11:18So I want to do applique.
11:20So I'm playing around with kind of some dry brush or stamp techniques.
11:24I don't know.
11:25This is a bit like, you know.
11:27A little tramp stamp.
11:27Yeah.
11:28He just bedazzled a little tramp stamp here.
11:30A little bit on the side.
11:31Be a little bit more gutsy.
11:33Because this is good.
11:34Tie it in somehow.
11:35Yeah.
11:36Listening to some of the other critiques, I'm terrified going into my critique.
11:42It's looking pretty ugly.
11:44And how is it going over here?
11:46Honestly?
11:48No, she's perfectly.
11:50Because I was thinking two-tone, romper, drawstring, robe, back out.
11:56Does this look way to you?
11:57Potentially.
11:58If it has an ease to it.
12:00If it has an ease.
12:01If you want to be in the bed, you got to move.
12:02It's got to be easy.
12:05You're looking at me like.
12:09Lord have mercy.
12:14Coming up on Project Runway.
12:16Don't like this.
12:17Oh my God.
12:18Oh my God.
12:18I'm just going to have to freestyle the bottom.
12:20I'm freaking out a little bit.
12:22Freaking sucks.
12:23Damn.
12:24Everyone had a moment.
12:33You're looking at me like.
12:34I'm trying not to self defeat at the moment.
12:36You don't, don't.
12:38Don't, don't, don't.
12:39You just need to redirect.
12:41You have very pretty fabric.
12:42Yeah.
12:42You have very pretty colors.
12:44Don't overthink it.
12:45Just go with your gut.
12:47What do you have?
12:47Goldfish on your socks?
12:48I do.
12:49My mom gave them to me.
12:51You have your lucky goldfish socks on.
12:53You can do this.
12:54Yes.
12:55Great.
12:57Hi, Kentaro.
12:58So I was inspired by this color.
13:00The print is so pretty.
13:01Yeah.
13:02But I think I'm like very OCD.
13:04If like little things goes wrong, like I don't feel like I don't want to make this anymore.
13:09Right.
13:09And I didn't like how this like the pink kind of does this one.
13:12No, because it's nice when it oozes out a little bit.
13:16Ooh.
13:17Okay.
13:18Good-oo.
13:18Yes.
13:18And that's a good-oo.
13:19That is a good-oo.
13:20Perfect.
13:20I saw this weird little vent.
13:23Art deco.
13:24Yeah.
13:24That's very pretty.
13:25Yeah.
13:26I loved how shiny it was and kind of the textural aspect.
13:29Mm-hmm.
13:29And I kind of like the print.
13:30So will you do this all over or?
13:32I have this design that's kind of like a top and then a little short.
13:37I was thinking if I had enough time I was going to do a quick little wrap kimono or wrap
13:42dress.
13:43But I know that's a little ambitious on this one.
13:45Be ambitious.
13:45Okay.
13:46I'm super selfish.
13:47I want the best look.
13:49Yay.
13:49That makes me happy.
13:49I think this is a great start.
13:50Okay.
13:51Thank you, Erin.
13:52I think a lot of you are really on the right path already.
13:57Do you guys feel confident?
13:58Yeah.
13:59All right.
13:59Good luck.
14:01See you on the runway.
14:02Bye everybody.
14:03And your models will be in in two and a half hours.
14:07All right.
14:08We'll see you later.
14:08Bye guys.
14:13I've never had the funds or the resources to be able to reproduce my garments.
14:19So winning this challenge is really important because as a designer that's ultimately what you want.
14:26You want people to wear your pieces.
14:29If I help you, will you sew my pant seams?
14:31Yes.
14:32I just need help figuring out what it should look like.
14:34The print or what?
14:36Well, the print is, I don't even know what at this point.
14:39I mean, we all help each other out in the workroom, which is not illegal.
14:43But I think for the twins, they take it to a whole different level.
14:46It's not fair.
14:50How's sewing with the silk?
14:52Has everyone been doing well with it?
14:53It's okay.
14:54It's not easy.
14:55At least fabric everywhere.
14:56Freaking sucks.
14:57Damn.
14:57Everyone had a moment.
15:04Hey girls.
15:05How are you?
15:06Nice to meet you.
15:06Which one?
15:07So let's try on these shorts first.
15:09Let me tie this really quickly.
15:11Yeah.
15:12My model is beautiful.
15:14I've actually been looking forward to working with her, but I'm not at a good place for her to try
15:20anything on.
15:20I gotta get busy.
15:21I gotta make you happy.
15:23To baggy?
15:25It's way too baggy.
15:28You wanna look like that?
15:30You see the difference?
15:30Mm-hmm.
15:31I love Kentaro's design.
15:32I did give him a little advice.
15:35In my industry, I'm known for my shape.
15:37I'm known as the Naomi of Plus, and no one is showing it.
15:41I would do it this tight.
15:43Okay.
15:43Cause that's just me.
15:44Let's go Kentaro.
15:46Let's try this on.
15:48I am liking the way this teal is looking on the silver.
15:52This is beautiful on your skin.
15:54Oh, this feels good.
15:55Does it?
15:56Yeah, it feels great.
15:57It looks good.
15:57So I'm getting my confidence back again.
16:00If I can get the pants, then I'm good.
16:03If Deontay is able to pull off these joggers, I'm confident that we'll have a winner on our hands.
16:08But if the joggers are not made, I'm definitely a bit nervous.
16:11Cause it might come off a little basic.
16:13I'm praying I have enough.
16:17This looks like it's my fault.
16:18It's not you.
16:20As soon as I printed my material, it changed the texture of it.
16:24So it didn't have as much flow.
16:26And that's making me nervous because I'm not sure how I'm going to finish my top.
16:30Bye.
16:31Have a good night.
16:31Bye.
16:32I'll see you tomorrow.
16:40I'm totally using this.
16:41I'm definitely using that.
16:43Yeah.
16:43Doggone it.
16:48I don't like this.
16:50And it's very frustrating.
16:52This challenge is tough.
16:54I tell you.
16:54How are we going to put everything together?
16:56It'll be crazy.
16:58Oh, wait a minute.
16:59At the end of the day, my dress looks beautiful, but I have no textile on it.
17:04All right, guys.
17:05It's time to go.
17:06No.
17:07Oh, my gosh.
17:08One more hour, please.
17:09Please.
17:10And knowing that I'm going to have two hours tomorrow, I am very nervous.
17:15Oh, my God.
17:16Oh, my God.
17:17Oh, my God.
17:17Oh, my God.
17:21We're going to be so tight on this.
17:21Coming up on Project Runway.
17:23Three threads.
17:24The pink machine.
17:25They're just screaming to each other, and everyone's kind of annoyed.
17:29How are you feeling?
17:30A little throw up-ish.
17:31I do not feel like I'm going to be on top.
17:42this morning we have two hours to finish our look I

23:16me she was strutting it you know she was so happy with it
23:20She looks effortless, and she looks beautiful.
23:34When Colleen walks out on the runway,
23:37she's gliding, she looks fabulous, she looks ethereal.
23:42She's feeling very sexy and comfortable.
23:44You can see it on her face. She's just, like, floating.
23:54My design has an easy attitude to it.
23:57I like making simple things out of bright colors
23:59with really good construction,
24:00and I think that's what I showed them.
24:15I really like the flow of my dress.
24:17My design is very angelic,
24:19and it's very peaceful, and it's also sexy.
24:21Heidi said you should be able to sleep in it,
24:23so I did that.
24:32When Monique walks out on the runway,
24:34I am just thrilled by the way
24:36that the bias cut is moving on her body.
24:38It definitely feels very slinky,
24:40and my concept of the 1920s
24:43reads really well with the overall styling.
24:45It just looks really clean.
24:55watching my look come down the runway feels really good.
24:58I've created a great garment.
25:00She looks sexy.
25:01She's feeling it,
25:02and she's giving us a lot of attitude.
25:06I feel like we might have a shot at this.
25:18As I'm seeing my look come down the runway,
25:21I'm looking at the textile,
25:22and I'm thinking that's reading really well.
25:24I'm just hoping that the judges see
25:25that I took a lot of time to make this textile.
25:39When I see Kristina walking down the runway,
25:41she brings it to life,
25:43and I'm very pleased I was able to produce
25:47a complete look of three pieces
25:49that work well together.
26:04I'm watching Janine coming down the runway,
26:06and literally the first thought is,
26:08wow, look at her butt.
26:10Look at how stunning the charmeuse of those pants.
26:13The fabric is shimmering.
26:15This is something I'm proud of.
26:24As my look is coming down the runway,
26:27I'm feeling okay.
26:28I know that there are some construction issues
26:30and some sewing problems,
26:32but the silhouette is beautiful,
26:34so hopefully I'll be safe.
26:54I think my garment, it looks good,
26:56it looks beautiful.
26:58It had a lot of beautiful movements.
27:00I really liked it.
27:12I'm watching my look come down the runway,
27:14and I'm thinking I actually really love the pants.
27:17I think they turned out flawlessly.
27:20It's simple, but elegant, and I'm so proud.
27:28If I call your name, please step forward.
27:32Erin, Kantara, Michael, Deontay, Sean, Kenya.
27:40If I have not called your name, congratulations.
27:42Your scores have qualified you to move on to the next round.
27:45You can leave the runway.
27:51The six of you have the highest and the lowest scores.
27:55One of you will be named the winner,
27:57and one of you will be out.
28:05Michael, tell us about your look and your inspiration.
28:08When we spent the night at the Empire State Building,
28:10I was instantly inspired by the Art Deco.
28:13So I wanted to do that mirror image of graphic lines
28:16throughout the body that complemented her shape.
28:19First of all, I love the color combination.
28:21The blush is so pretty.
28:23You know, it'll complement many skin tones.
28:26It's practical.
28:27It's comfortable.
28:28And it's something that I would sleep in.
28:31It looks sophisticated, sexy, expensive.
28:35There's some design here.
28:36I love that effect in the back.
28:39The multi-straps.
28:40The Art Deco motif.
28:42It almost looks like the top of the Chrysler Building.
28:45There's a sensuality to her and a sophistication to her.
28:49It feels very 1920s, very New York.
28:53Yeah, it's really beautiful.
28:55Congratulations.
28:57Aaron.
28:58I was inspired by one of the vents as we were walking by.
29:01I had this really cool staggered, like, half-repeat print.
29:04So I made, like, a stamp kind of block.
29:07And then I, like, made a print on there.
29:09I would love to know what happened.
29:11I was really loving the print that you were making.
29:14It's just what you did with it, I'm so surprised.
29:17This is something that is going into the real world.
29:19You're giving whoever she is out there two pieces
29:23that are way too tight, that are strangling on top.
29:25It's too high.
29:27Who wants to wear that?
29:29Aaron, thank goodness you're wearing underpants.
29:32It's a little distracting.
29:33It's a little distracting.
29:35When you're presenting a model next to you,
29:37just remember that you want that to be highlighted.
29:40Definitely, definitely.
29:40As for the look, I kind of thought it was lackluster.
29:44You've got to bring it up.
29:45This is runway.
29:46The world is watching.
29:47And it needs to be a stronger point of view.
29:51Sean, so when I first walked into the Empire State Building,
29:54I noticed the plaque of its origin that
29:57suggested the building was sleek and slender.
30:01And I was thinking that I want to evoke
30:03the same kind of feeling in my outfit.
30:06I have to say I was a little worried yesterday.
30:09But you really pulled it together.
30:11You gave us something sophisticated, sexy, elegant.
30:15Here you have a beautiful jumpsuit that you can wear to bed.
30:19You can put that on a pair of heels, a nice little leather jacket.
30:23And you have a two-in-one.
30:23You can go out in that.
30:25Pajama glamour.
30:26Pajama glamour.
30:27It really pops to me because it is so tailored.
30:32You definitely nailed it with the Empire State Building inspiration,
30:36how it's tall and slender, and it's beautiful.
30:40Thank you very much.
30:43Deontay.
30:43So after my critique with you and Tim, I did some revamping.
30:47And so I did a freehand dye technique on this gown.
30:49I think it feels good.
30:51It looks dreamy, and she looks great in it.
30:54First of all, it doesn't even look like something to sleep or lounge in.
30:59It looks like a dress.
31:01The color, the green, takes over, and it feels like you're just wearing some hospital gown.
31:06It's boring.
31:07It's boring.
31:09This didn't do it for me today.
31:11I'm sorry.
31:12Where is this sexy to you?
31:13Show me what is sexy about this.
31:15Well, when she releases it or takes it out, and she takes this off.
31:18Let's have a look.
31:19Let's take it out.
31:19Let's see if it becomes sexy now.
31:22No.
31:23Do you not?
31:23No, no, no, no, no.
31:24You have to give us something sexy, you know?
31:26A woman wants to feel comfortable but sexy at the same time.
31:30And I want people to buy it, too.
31:32This is going into the real world.
31:35It's going into the real world.
31:36Kentara, I saw a beautiful sunrise, and this part is like an Empire State Building, and
31:42this opens.
31:43So it flows like a butterfly.
31:47Will you turn around for us?
31:49This, I can see women wanting to go to bed in.
31:53I think you created a really beautiful print here.
31:55Beautiful draping.
31:58Effortless, easy.
31:59You know, it has something playful, but it's still sophisticated and abstract.
32:03The scalloping edge is delicate, impressive, ambitious.
32:08I just thought it was a breeze, and really nice and happy.
32:12Yeah.
32:12I like happy out of you.
32:14I feel like this is something that I wouldn't mind a significant other seeing me in.
32:19I have a lot of respect for you and your piece.
32:22Thank you so much.
32:24Kenya.
32:25Well, when we were at the Empire State Building, I immediately thought art.
32:29After my critique, I tried to take your idea of going a little bit longer.
32:32So I gave you a robe, and I wanted to make it backless.
32:37I thought that that would be kind of on the sexy side.
32:40Let's take this piece off.
32:41Let's have a look at this romper.
32:42How are you getting in and out of this romper?
32:44Let's just cut her.
32:45Well, the hook and eye broke, and...
32:48So it's in the middle of the night.
32:50Uh-huh.
32:50You really are busting to go to the toilet.
32:53You have to fiddle around with this hook and eye and getting out of this thing.
32:57I would have peed in my pants already.
33:00This is sleepwear, you guys.
33:02You have to be able to get in and out of this thing.
33:04I have to say, Kenya, I'm really sad to see you at the bottom,
33:07because I know what a good designer you are, and that's not really you.
33:12I can see that you struggled with this,
33:14especially since you do have such a tailored background.
33:17But you didn't take the easy way out.
33:20For that, you get a lot of credit.
33:23Okay, we've heard what you had to say.
33:25Now we're going to take a closer look at your designs,
33:28and then I'm going to bring you back onto the runway.

34:27Hi, Tim.
34:28Hi.
34:28I'm not sure if we want to see a lot of them close up today.
34:31But three of them, certainly.
34:33Well, do you want to begin on a positive note?
34:34Yes.
34:35We'll bring out Monique wearing Michael.
34:37And that is effortless.
34:38Yes.
34:39And incredible.
34:40It's a beautiful gown to have.
34:42This, I think, is really sellable.
34:44And it's producible.
34:46It's not actually that complicated.
34:47It's just smart.
34:49Love it.
34:49She's a wow.
34:53And we have Janine wearing Sean.
34:57Yes.
34:57This was so, so beautiful.
35:00I was stunned that it was hers.
35:02I was stunned.
35:03Me too.
35:03I love the detail on the tie that matches this, but it's so simple.
35:09I love the shading on the prints.
35:10It's so pretty.
35:11It's really delicately done and precise.
35:13Yes.
35:13No, I'm impressed with her this week.
35:18Lyrus is wearing Cantoro.
35:20I think this is a beautiful nightgown.
35:22I just have to say, now we're going to go technical.
35:25It's pretty incredible.
35:26It's incredible.
35:27He said he did it with the tweezers.
35:29He said with tweezers.
35:30You have to pull it out and turn it.
35:32I mean, it's pretty serious to do that in that timing.
35:36Pretty.
35:37I can totally see women falling in love with that.
35:40You know?
35:41I just love how delicate the top is.
35:43I'm glad we see color from him.
35:45I think it's fun.
35:46I liked it.
35:47This could be a real winner.
35:53And we have Samantha wearing Aaron.
35:55Not loving that so much.
35:56Oh, this feels crooked.
35:59This feels inexpensive.
36:02You don't want that.
36:03No.
36:04We don't need to go further.
36:05It's not finished.
36:06There's no back to this.
36:08It's a tucked in piece of fabric.
36:09It's just a front flap?
36:11Yep.
36:11What do you mean?
36:12It is just a front flap.
36:13Oh, well.
36:14Too bad.
36:15Bad.
36:15It's bad.
36:19And we have Jasmine wearing Deontay.
36:23Oh, I mean, it's just...
36:26My armhole again.
36:28There's no design here as far as I'm concerned.
36:30There's no design, and this is like the second time we've had this.
36:32I'm uninspired.
36:34Maybe with more time, the ideas are able to come together.
36:38I'm just not seeing it.
36:39Sometimes you don't get the luxury of time, though.
36:50I don't understand what's happening with the neckline.
36:52I don't understand what's happening anywhere.
36:54It's just...
36:55It's a little complicated.
36:56It is way too complicated.
36:57But I'd rather see complicated than nothing, right?
37:01At least she had an attempt to design with a drawstring as opposed to the pull-on elastic
37:07waistband.
37:08I mean, we can't even talk about how this is constructed.
37:12Like, it's beyond.
37:17All right, we've made our decision.
37:20Let's bring them back out.
37:24Designers, the six of you had the highest and the lowest scores.
37:28One of you will be named the winner, and one of you will be out.
37:36Michael, you are the winner of this challenge.
37:42Your look will be reproduced and sold with my Heidi Klum Intimates line.
37:47So, congratulations.
37:48I'm very excited about it.
37:49Thank you so much.
37:50I'm just really happy that my work is recognized.
37:54So, thank you.
37:55You're in.
37:56You can leave the runway.
37:57Thank you so much.
37:59I have been saved this whole time, and to finally win, straight up, I'm, like, still in
38:06shock.
38:10Oh, my gosh.
38:12That's awesome.
38:13Congratulations.
38:15Congratulations.
38:16Congratulations.
38:17Seriously.
38:17Seriously.
38:18I'm still, like, shaking.
38:20Fantastic.
38:21I'm so proud.
38:22So, you're going to be in production.
38:23I know.
38:24That's insane.
38:25It really means a lot.
38:26It's a big deal.
38:27Yeah.
38:29Sean, Kantara, you're both in.
38:32Great job.
38:33You can leave the runway.
38:35Great.
38:37Kenia.
38:41You're in.
38:42You can leave the runway.
38:49Aaron, while we really appreciated your treatment to the fabric, we were really underwhelmed in
38:55what you did with it.
38:56Deontay, we really felt badly for your model today.
39:00This waistband really was an issue, and there was just not enough design.
39:08Aaron, Deontay, one of you will be out.
39:19Deontay, I'm sorry you're out.
39:24Aaron, that means you're in.
39:26You can leave the runway.
39:28Congrats, buddy.
39:33Deontay, I have no doubt that you will do great things.
39:36Thank you, Heidi.
39:37I appreciate it.
39:38Sad to see you, girl.
39:40Auf Wiedersehen.
39:41I love you guys.
39:42Thank you so much.
39:43Thank you, Deontay.
39:44All right.
39:44You're going to be a great dad, too.
39:46Enjoy.
39:48Being eliminated is the worst feeling.
39:50Nobody wants to be in that space.
39:52It's so traumatic.
39:56That's right.
39:58I'm going to miss you guys.
40:01We're going to miss you, too.
40:05Oh, Tim.
40:07Come on over.
40:08We are going to miss you.
40:09And I just want to say, you, sir, can leave on a high note.
40:13You won the first challenge.
40:14I know.
40:14I feel great.
40:15You sure?
40:15I feel like I did what I was supposed to do.
40:17Excellent.
40:18And I get home and get to see my baby born, so.
40:21Things happen for a reason.
40:23I told my grandma I wouldn't go cry.
40:25I should be like, boy, I told you not to cry.
40:29I have to send you to the work room to clean up your space.
40:32See you.
40:33Bye, Deontay.
40:34This Project Runway experience has been the best experience.
40:38My family's going to be super proud of me.
40:39Where I come from, not many people make it, you know?
40:43To be chosen and, you know, to win the first challenge,
40:46I feel like I won the competition.
