00:04I'm gonna be doing yet another

00:07Anime review now. I like to start by saying that this was

00:11Not as bad as I was expecting it to be it was much better than watching the chaos head and chaos child

00:19blunders

00:20and it shows sign of being

00:22Actually something great like it. It's I can see that an enemy, but it wasn't

00:31Really dear yet. So let's let's unpack this

00:36The general premise of this anime this robotics note anime is

00:41essentially

00:43What would happen if you try to make a robot for real, right? You have these people who making these so like big robots

00:50for these conventions and such

00:52Then you have like these they introduced at the main character. So you see them make it the robots and they're going and doing these

01:00like competitions and such

01:03It's essentially like a mecha anime with nothing

01:08to like the mecha and the way that you

01:12Accustom to it's a bit more mecha and the slice of life mixture and it's

01:19works sometimes

01:21Okay, so you have Yoram a supposedly main guy

01:25Kayato Yashio. He's an MC in this

01:28At the mean of the story

01:31He's

01:32pretty much a

01:35Piece of shit and the reason why I say that is because he always spent so much time playing this stupid game on his

01:43tablet device

01:44Like everywhere he goes you just glued to that and it's it's so weird

01:49Like watch it. It can make me realize that this and we

01:53sort of predicted

01:55Like today's society, you know everybody stuck on their phones and such except this guy who was stuck on this tablet playing this dumb

02:04Mecha game

02:06called gun barrel

02:08I'll put more on this later because it's actually relevant to the story for some reason

02:13Okay, so then you have

02:15Like you see no Maria. She's like the love interest to the MC your typical love interest and

02:22next main character

02:24Although as you watch more and more of this the show I

02:29realize that

02:30She is basically the MC actually to be honest because the story revolves more on her and

02:36And her sister with the whole

02:40Mecha robot stuff

02:42Yeah, and this brings us to

02:45Misaki

02:46Shinomiya

02:48She is basically

02:50Like I said a sister to Aiko and she's sort of like a villain in the story

02:57And they do a lot to explain it, but

03:01She was basically she's like a villain that's being like mind-controllers

03:05And then you have

03:07Kona Fugui

03:11Alright, she's a character that gets introduced a bit like midway into the anime, right?

03:15And she's apparently some sort of like perverted

03:18Fem-Cell hacker and the reason why I use the word Fem-Cell is because

03:23she is

03:25like

03:26really

03:28If you watch the show you know what I mean, right? Because

03:31She's like basically stuck inside her room on her computer and she's like basically a female version of a redditor

03:41She's just there stuck there

03:45And then you have Juna

03:47Daituku

03:48Right, this girl is basically another one of those

03:51uh

03:53Shy

03:55Introverted type girls

03:57Like you know a type when you see them, there's a name for them. I can't remember her name, but

04:02She's also another one of their

04:05classmates in their club

04:07And she has a fear

04:09of

04:10Being around robots and such. It's kind of weird, but they explain it in the show

04:14And then you have Tetsuhawa Fujita. This guy's basically

04:20Juna's grandfather

04:22And she's like the guy who runs his shop where he fixes

04:27And programs robots and provides like

04:30assistance and such for

04:32You know the MCs on their robot project

04:36Then you have Mizuka-Ari

04:38This girl is basically a shopkeeper who's like a friend

04:43Long time friend of

04:45Misaki Sionma, you know

04:47The sister of Aiko

04:50Then you have

04:51Subo Hirika

04:52This is like a nerdy grass, this guy

04:55Interesting, he had this weird

04:57Came back with him

04:58Where he was like

04:59Had this

05:00Altered persona

05:01As she was

05:02Playing the robot stuff

05:04And he had to do that because

05:05You know his dad is

05:08Extremely anti-robot stuff for him

05:11Like he doesn't want him to

05:14Go into that stuff

05:16So he has to create this fake persona to get away with

05:19Playing the robot essentially

05:22And then you have Nate Tennoju

05:25Okay, this girl is basically a Jaxxam member

05:29I'll get more on that later as well

05:32And then you have

05:33Ari Yukifun

05:35So he's basically an AI that shows up on

05:37Kaito's tablet device

05:41She also is of importance as well

05:44So yeah, that's pretty much the characters that I listed

05:47Here's the plot

05:48Right

05:49The show starts off okay

05:51Like it's giving you the groundwork here

05:54Which is this girl and her

05:56These guys doing this robotic stuff

05:58As it lead into this

06:00Build a giant robot arc

06:03But it drags a lot

06:06Much like Steins Gate did

06:09And then you have the MC's obsession with this gun rival game

06:14And the girl, you know Aiko

06:16She wasn't all that

06:18She came off as more annoying than

06:21Cute and charming

06:22And then you have the rest of the cast

06:24Which is basically hit or miss for the most part

06:26As you watch the show

06:28What got to me was this whole plot

06:30How it unfolded

06:32And it goes from being okay to okay

06:34This is actually going good

06:36And this might actually be really good

06:38Then it falls apart

06:40Coming down to like in the third act

06:42Of the amp season

06:44And a lot of it is the same mistakes

06:47That I saw

06:49In Chaos Head

06:51And it's frustrating

06:52Because unlike

06:54That one

06:55This one actually had

06:57The story beats and the stuff needed to be good

07:00You actually get to a point in the story

07:01Where the characters get more serious

07:04Like Sybil losing on his

07:06Dad issues

07:07And then Juna having issues with her grandpa

07:09And it's sort of like you know

07:11Like get more into like their character stuff

07:14And then Aiko you get to understand her

07:17Why she's obsessed with this giant robot stuff

07:20And this whole project she's doing

07:23And you know even though it comes up as very obnoxious

07:26You understand her point of view more

07:29And it's really about her group against her whole sister

07:31And it's basically

07:33This is her way of catching up to her really

07:36And it's sort of like a rivalry

07:39One of those you know when you was kids type shit

07:42So it could be of more significance to the characters

07:46Yeah

07:48Yeah so all these characters and their partners

07:50End up making trouble for the whole club

07:53And so like it's a chance of getting progress with their robot project

07:58Right

07:58And outside of that you have this whole other plot thing that's going on with

08:05Gone viral

08:06And you know this

08:08Supposed robot takeover that's going on with

08:12After this time blackout in Tokyo

08:14And it's almost like there was two

08:19Like plots here like two main stuff that was being written out

08:23And they said just meshed them together

08:26Right like the main stuff here with the characters

08:29Is them building the robot

08:30Right that's the main stuff that they focus on

08:32But then I started noticing like halfwind

08:35They started to incorporate this next stuff

08:38That has to do with

08:40They sort of like mesh the gun viral um

08:43Game and the show into that plot

08:45Where you have the main guy character

08:48You know he's using his device to interact with his AI

08:51And you know that's where like the issues like the hack and all that other stuff comes into play

08:57And it just didn't work well for me

09:01And it's not that I'm trying to like not spoil this part

09:05It's just that it was so

09:09It came out so convoluted that I don't even know if I can explain it properly

09:14Beyond just that you know

09:17It's it's wild because there's there's also like connections to steins gate

09:22You know there's references to cern

09:24There's also the references to you know

09:28Those eyes where are they from chaos head

09:31See this anime

09:33They actually put some references to the other

09:36Um science enemies in this one

09:40Even down to the characters you have nate energy

09:43The girl I said from the jack sir organization

09:48She's actually the daughter of the bald guy in steins gate growing up

09:54So it basically confirms that this takes place after steins gate and they're in the same universe

10:02Because believe it or not this show is actually

10:05a part of a whole

10:06thing that's going on

10:10With that includes stand gates and chaos head

10:13That's how I actually found out about it when I looked up stands gate

10:15I found out about this game thing with all these other enemies

10:19That was actually supposedly connected in this universe

10:23But yeah outside of that

10:26This anime it's

10:29What I'll say was that

10:30It started fumbling the bag a lot as it got into

10:36Halfway into the anime

10:38Like the first half when they were sticking to you know the emcees

10:42And this hurt growing up against you know the sister and all that stuff

10:48I was actually slowly getting into it

10:52But like halfway and they started like

10:54Adding up all this stuff and introducing this bad guys apparently you know controlling people and

11:00All these other stuff

11:02To sort of like you know

11:05Take you down this like surprise surprise

11:08Like it it just really started pulling me out of it

11:13To be honest

11:14And it sucks because this actually have some pretty good animation

11:18The voice acting is mid though

11:20I will give it that

11:21The soundtrack is good

11:23Right and it's like I said earlier

11:25It's a much more interesting plot than chaos head

11:28Overall to sum this up outside this anime is

11:31Average

11:33No it's not bad

11:34It's not

11:36Good

11:37But it's average

11:38Would I watch it again?

11:39No

11:40But I don't mind recommending it to somebody who wants to watch it

11:43You know someone's like into like a sci-fi anime and such

11:48Yeah you can probably check this out

11:49It could be a hit or miss

11:51I would say that

11:52Right so yeah overall p.sums it up
