00:00Hey guys, welcome back to the passes once again, this is your host thank you
00:05And today's video gonna be doing it in another anime review
00:10Okay, now this anime man this
00:14Really wasn't it
00:16Okay, now with the premise which is what convinced me to check it out
00:22It's there but not to see all the hoop like cut up and I was like
00:27Okay, this is something. Let me check it out
00:30So I I decided to kill the fear shot
00:34Right, but I felt like I got to go up for some reason
00:39Okay, so let me explain
00:41The show starts off with the main girls the main character discussing the stuff
00:48Thank you. Hi, your main chick my
00:51Tamaki who's just in school looking for something to do
00:54And then she meets she was a cobalt
00:59Cheezawa another student at school who's been saving up to go to Antarctica at a place where her
01:05Mother went missing three years ago. So throughout the three to four-piece soldiers like the first third of the anime
01:13They are joined by other girls
01:15Inata Miyake and
01:17Yuzuki Shirashi
01:19They join an expedition headed towards the Antarctic. That's essentially the premise of the show actually
01:26Right these girls in school and they all decide to come together to go on this expedition
01:34And it's actually a good premise actually
01:37And I'm not gonna lie it's it's a good premise. It starts off good. They have the character motivations in place there. It's just that
01:43You have to sit there and wait to like
01:48Six episodes ish of this cabbage girl and girl back and forth beckering
01:53You know them
01:55Going all over the place
01:57Doing a bunch of stuff before you can actually get to them
02:01Leaving the trip for the you know the explanation
02:04Like but this whole story could have been done in like
02:08Six episodes
02:10Topped like you introduce the girls for the first two or three episodes later thing
02:15All the plot wise
02:18Going on and by the end of the third episode you have them waiting on the flight for the explosion
02:24Not six episodes bruh
02:28Listen I already get it but this is like a slice of life anime
02:32This is what they do you know they take longer to actually progress a plot and slice of lives
02:38It's like how much slice of life this anime is
02:42You have one of the main girls
02:43He knuttered
02:44She ends up
02:46Losing her passport
02:47Right and
02:50She had to like go and apply it for like a new passport and had to wait a few days for it
02:55And end up probably missing the expedition
02:59And
03:00There was this whole like back and forth about her and the passport and the flights
03:04And she actually wanted to offer up um the money to buy a whole set of new tickets all of them
03:12Only to find out at the ending of the episode
03:15That what wasn't lost was there she just had in the um a pocket to me
03:21and
03:22Bruh
03:23You spent a whole episode on this one subplot
03:29Like that's how crazy it is
03:32You actually gonna spend a whole episode just for this one thing
03:36Like bro like that's the example of all Sliceflexes and Mears
03:41But here we have this goal to look forward to
03:44The thing that used to promote the show there the actual how to exploration stuff
03:49You know you you expect it to happen
03:53And while it does happen
03:56You have to wait so long for it to even get to that point
03:59Which is the main reason why I you know
04:03Clocked in to see the show right
04:05And
04:06With this is the main reason why I actually would make this as painfully average
04:11And here's why right
04:12Like when it kicks off the arctic mission
04:17Byron the antarctic mission
04:19It's very interesting and all like it's not even worth waiting through the seven episodes
04:25Like if it was worth the wait like
04:28You could do arctic episode seven
04:31And then they get into this whole arctic exploration
04:34And you get to see like all this stuff
04:37I would say it was worth it but when I was watching it in the second half of the anime
04:43It didn't feel worth it to me
04:45You know I feel like I got scammed actually going into this
04:49And I don't know man it's nothing I'm trying to say it's bad by any means
04:53It's still a good anime but it has
04:57The soundtrack the animation the director and the voice acting all that technical stuff is superb
05:02It has that sort of cinematic feel to it right like if you're watching a game movie
05:08Like that's how the anime is done like technically
05:12And this is nice actually it's just that the way the plot unfolds it just got
05:18So progressively uninterested the more I watch it
05:22And I think that's pretty much the main way I can just like describe this anime
05:26And like like I said that the plot is there the characters have their motivations
05:33And it was setting up something that was really interesting
05:39It's just that the more I watch the less interest that I got like
05:45I don't know maybe it's just my expectations of what I thought the anime would have been
05:50Maybe that's what probably screwed up me no my view of this anime
05:56But really and surely this really wasn't it for me guys
06:00So yeah overall that pretty much sums up my thoughts here on a place further than the universe
06:10It's a middle-of-the-road anime
06:12I won't say it's bad because it isn't definitely not bad the way how it's
06:18Made but it's definitely not good either
06:22So I would
06:22I would say it's a coin toss for you to actually watch this
06:27But I don't know if you might like it or if you might hate it
06:29But for me, you know, it was just
06:32Meh
06:33Alright, I think that's probably the best way I can put this
06:35Meh
06:36So yeah
06:38That's pretty much my take though
06:40Let me know what you think in the comment section down below
06:42However on a place further than the universe
06:45Have you seen it? Do you like it? Do you hate it?
06:48Do you think it's overrated?
06:50Let me know in the comment section down below
06:51And be sure to check out my other videos and I guess I'll see you guys
06:54Later
