00:00hey guys welcome back your friends once again this is your host Danagamer

00:07in today's video we are going to be doing another anime review

00:13right now today's anime we are going to be talking about

00:17a sort of comedy those slice of life types

00:22it's called Mitsudomi or Mitsudomi I may have mispronounced it

00:33it's one of those types of comedy slice of life animes and it's

00:37you know what we all different styles in terms of animation

00:41if I was about to describe this is more of like a chibi style animation

00:46this anime is actually not what you expect going into watching it

00:51I'd like to start off by saying this is what Tolovu should have been

00:56what Tolovu wanted to be but couldn't be because of how that anime

01:02fumbled with its storytelling

01:05you know this anime I'd say it's for some reason it pisses some people off

01:11because of the humor because this anime it has a pretty raunchy way at humor

01:19you know especially given the fact that it's anime about kids

01:24right from the sixth grade apparently that's what it says here

01:29so here's the deal

01:30it's centered around these triplets called the Mario family

01:36one is being Mitsuba

01:38the next one is Futaba

01:41and then you have Hitora

01:45okay now these are the triplets

01:47pretty much like the main go-to for the whole show

01:50and you see they have like different personalities

01:52one is like snotty, stuck up and kind of like in general like probably annoying personalities

01:59the next one is like pretty much like the Goku of the bunch

02:02you know she's like really athletic and she's like really strong even for her age and her size

02:12but she's also pretty stupid

02:14and then you have the next one which is like

02:17she in the way I can like to say she's like the Sasuke of the group

02:24except she's not really um any special talented

02:28you know but she has like that sort of personality in a sense

02:32outside that you have all of the you know side characters

02:35Suju who is the triplets' father

02:38and when you look at him

02:42he's pretty much looks like a bad guy because the way he's drawn and how he's animated

02:47and a lot of the times throughout the show he ends up getting in trouble

02:52because he's often mistaken to be a predator

02:56it's pretty weird because like throughout the whole show

02:59he's always getting arrested by the cops

03:01wanting to be let go later because they realize he's actually the father of the three kids

03:06and he's not faking anything to kidnap anybody ever

03:09it's a running gag

03:11back to the characters you have Satoishi

03:14he is the teacher

03:17well a new coming teacher

03:20who's now getting his army come up

03:24working at an elementary school

03:26and unfortunately for him

03:30he gets put in the same class as these married triplets

03:35along with several other students

03:37which you know ends up like

03:40taking advantage of him

03:42and doing some crazy stuff with him

03:45to be honest I'd say he had some of the most funniest moments in the show

03:50there was a particular scene

03:53that he was in that reminded me of

03:55the way he hacked him

03:59it was actually pretty good

04:01throughout the whole show

04:03it doesn't follow a straightforward plot

04:08like you know each episode leads up to this and that

04:12it's like a freefall

04:15like each episode is like telling its own story in itself

04:19and I think that was probably a good way for this anime to go

04:24you know you allow like more ideas to flow in

04:27and what sort of different scenarios to do with the characters

04:31and you don't have to worry about explaining or tying anything into a coherent ongoing plot

04:38it's just like okay this happens

04:41and the next episode

04:43well this happens

04:45the only downside with that is

04:47the fact that

04:49certain things might

04:51seem

04:52inconsistent with the characters

04:54as you go on

04:56because you know you're

04:57you're always like making sure you have something new to do with the characters for each episode

05:02to keep it fresh in essence

05:04there's all the other characters like Shinan, Yurai, and Miku

05:10and all these characters are like

05:13sort of like friends and rivals or

05:16crushes with some of the main triplets you know

05:20they sort of play off each other

05:22and for the most part

05:25some of them tend to like get the spotlight

05:29and a lot of them they're just there

05:31in a sense

05:32I will say

05:33you know with the way how the show plays out

05:35it does a pretty good job of like

05:38you know fleshing itself out and giving the characters

05:41all the sad characters

05:43some room

05:45allow them to get their moments

05:47so

05:48I'll give them that

05:49um

05:50this show

05:51I think

05:52it has like about

05:5420 episodes

05:5620 something around there

05:58there's a first and second season

06:00if I'll be honest I think

06:02first season was better than the second season

06:05which is like I said

06:07numerous times in my previous anime views

06:10the first season is bound to be better than the second season

06:13when it comes to almost any anime you watch

06:16it's a weird treat to see the second season do better than the first

06:21all right

06:22now on to animation

06:24like I said this has a

06:26more of those

06:27chibi

06:28style

06:29uh

06:30animations

06:31you know

06:32it makes it look very cartoon

06:34you know

06:35and

06:36it's not really like

06:38anything

06:39artistic

06:40or you know

06:41really

06:42cool

06:43standing out

06:44so

06:45you might

06:46be

06:47hit or miss certain animation style

06:49depending on what type of

06:50anime you watch

06:52the

06:53soundtrack

06:55music

06:56it was actually pretty decent

06:57I would say

06:58um

06:59the

07:00the

07:01outro and the intro music

07:02I wasn't really like

07:04into it much

07:06but

07:07I will say

07:08I like

07:09some of the soundtracks

07:11in the anime

07:12I think it did

07:13what it needed to do

07:14for the most part

07:15the

07:16voice acting

07:17I would say

07:18the voice acting

07:19was

07:20okay

07:21you know

07:22it

07:23it wasn't anything like

07:24really

07:25stand out

07:26like

07:27really good

07:28it was

07:29decent

07:30you know

07:31for what it was

07:32so

07:33um

07:34yeah pretty much sums up all the technical stuff on the anime

07:37and

07:38so

07:39overall

07:41if I just sum it up

07:42what you do me

07:44pretty good anime

07:46it's something that's

07:47I'd say

07:48worth

07:49recommending

07:50if you're looking for

07:51one of those

07:52throwback

07:53type

07:54enemies

07:55um

07:56don't really

07:57give a shit about any

07:59big

08:00deep

08:01you know

08:02multi-layered

08:03plot

08:04ongoing storylines

08:05with a bunch of

08:06like

08:07you know

08:08crazy

08:09twist and such

08:11you know

08:12if you're looking for something

08:13simple shit

08:14to the point

08:15and

08:17a

08:18carefree

08:19throw

08:20type anime

08:21you can tune into this

08:22you know

08:23like I said at the beginning

08:24of the anime

08:25this is what

08:26I'd come to expect

08:28when I

08:29when you look at

08:30animes like this

08:31you know

08:32what

08:33it knows what it is

08:34and it's

08:36not really

08:37trying to

08:38be

08:39anything different

08:40from it

08:41like some of the other

08:42animes that I have

08:43watched

08:44it's

08:45in some ways

08:46it's self-aware

08:47what it is

08:48and

08:49it makes it more enjoyable

08:51that way

08:52than mapian

08:53right

08:54but that's just

08:55the way I see this anime

08:57and I know

08:58from reading the reviews

08:59quite a good bit of people

09:01seem to have

09:02been like

09:03mixed

09:04or really

09:05negative

09:06on this anime

09:07because of the

09:08humour

09:09so

09:10you know

09:11the humour

09:12I will say

09:13at times it does get

09:14pretty raunchy

09:15sometimes

09:16pretty

09:17sauce in a way

09:18um

09:19it's not

09:20too spicy in a sense

09:21because you know

09:22at the end of the day

09:23it's

09:24it's like

09:25school kids

09:26right

09:27it's

09:28not really a thing

09:29that you would expect

09:30to get spicy

09:31when it comes to that

09:32so yeah

09:33overall

09:35Mitsudomi

09:37the anime

09:38um

09:39worth recommending

09:40you should check it out

09:41but that is my opinion
