00:00hey guys welcome back to the prices once again this is your host and a gamer and today we're
00:06going to be talking about another anime right now this time i'm not going to be talking about
00:13an anime that's underrated as you guys have known for that segment underrated anime is usually about
00:20animes that have completed itself and this particular anime it's still ongoing and it's
00:27probably going to be ongoing for quite some time given the story and you know how much volumes the
00:33manga itself has right today we're going to be talking about seven seeds you guys probably may
00:40have heard of this anime it's something that was launched on netflix as a sort of like netflix
00:46you know their series promotion stuff so it's something that's more of an american
00:54you know invested production i would say also i will have to say that it's based on a manga that
01:00came out from the 90s 80s ish right so it has quite a bit of background to it now what is
01:08seven trees about well let's to simplify it it's basically a anime about a post-apocalyptic
01:16sort of setting where humanity gets pipes out by a asteroid you know one of those overused things
01:23that you hear in storytelling but what happened is that humanity decides to make a couple of
01:31precautionary measures to prepare for the asteroid that wipes out everything they have this group of
01:40people who like from different cities different you know backgrounds they put them in these capsules
01:47and put them in this like really contained bunkers that could survive the blast and the fallout from
01:56the asteroids they so like shell up in a way where you know after the fault and everything like so it
02:02eases up the capsules get reopened and these people who they stole away they come back out they are like
02:10supposed to you know walk around and figure out how to revamp and bring back humanity to like to
02:19continue civilization and preserve humanity in a sense you know hence the name seven seeds it's actually
02:27in the anime seven bunkers ish where you have like different groups of characters and they release
02:34around different areas and then they're like they have to meet up each other somewhere and learn to get
02:41along with each other and find other stuff you know so it's sort of like a scavenger hunt sort of
02:48thing to it adventure exploration all that good stuff it also sets up this really nice thing where you have
03:00a bunch of really cool nice areas we can explore most of this anime is basically you see in japan right all of
03:11the cities in japan post apocalyptic settlement you know stuff on the water everything's mashed up there are
03:22debris everywhere you don't really see signs of life you know around a lot of ancient artifacts and there are
03:31also some city memorials and all these other statues and things that they you know stuff that
03:39people in japan would pick up on right and you know the the characters they they see all these things
03:47and they try to figure okay this is there and that is there and now i want to get into the main aspect
03:57of this anime and that is characters and animation right now first of the animations and it seems pretty blandish
04:08it's not bad but the character designs it's nothing special to look at or think about
04:16to say it feels really blandish to tell you it's true not the characters look like they have any
04:23design standouts they all look like average guys average people which sort of blends into the idea
04:29of itself that you know it's about this group of people that's from like different backgrounds and
04:38all my stuff meeting up to each other and having to work together but the characters don't really feel
04:45like they stand out from each other in terms of their design and and that's from largely to do with
04:51the animation style tell you the truth now onto the characters i'm gonna be honest with you here i
05:00legitimately do not remember any names of the characters like legit like i can't tell you nothing
05:10like the other anime that i have seen especially recently you could usually tend to name at least
05:17the main characters or some characters in anime you know like if they easily name them you know like
05:26for example if you're watching it now too or maybe Demi or all these other enemies that you're into
05:32where the characters are appearing you could easily remember their names
05:37um you can't really do that here this anime i have to the only way i can remember them is by their faces
05:46which quite frankly goes back to my earlier point about the animation style it's not really that
05:53you know diverse among each other to tell the truth i'm still trying to like piece together
05:59the whole storyline because with these characters they tend to cut back between two main characters right
06:07this is all i can really piece together is two main characters at the center of their
06:15the story overall story everything and that is the guy that you are introduced to at the beginning
06:24the girl who they are also introduced to somewhere afterwards you also see them in the opening calls
06:35you know these two characters you even see them at the opening call right there while the anime
06:42tend to shuffle around these huge amount of varying characters and these subplots for each episode
06:50these two characters are the main characters they stay focused on right they're always going to be
06:54coming back to them as part of the main story in fact the girl her parents is actually there's
07:02this thing where they do a backstory for her which you eventually realize that her parents were actually
07:08involved in setting up you know this whole program to preserve humanity and put them in and stuff so
07:19there is character development but it's mostly for her and the dude and maybe some other characters here and there
07:28it really does leave a lot on the table to tell the truth
07:33at the same time it's a pretty longish anime you know you think about it stuff like this
07:41you usually think that if there is incentive for it the it's going to happen and that with this anime is
07:51that things can get stretched out and you know pushed back like i was thinking like you know it's two
08:00seasons maybe this thing will probably wrap up by the second season because like you know how much can they do
08:05here so like from my view it's it's like they're watching now to shippuden where they add a bunch of
08:12unnecessary content in the episodes and they stretch it out to reach a 500 mark you know all that
08:20unnecessary filler to the story not that i'm saying that all the stuff in this anime is filler because i
08:28don't really know for sure i still have to check out the manga myself but a lot of it feels unnecessary to the overall plot
08:34overall i will say seven seeds not really that bad of an anime so far you know things can change drastically in a season
08:44so far we have yet to see season three come out which should probably be like by next year so given how things are progressing
08:53but overall i would give it a recommend if you guys want to check it out you know it's a
09:00subaculate sort of thing it's more adventure exploration you know so it's nothing like the other enemies
09:08and then there's the fact that it's on the netflix so you may or may not
09:13dig it especially given to the tractors overall i'd say it's worth a recommend in my opinion so far but anyways guys
09:20let me know what you think in the comment section down below have you seen seven seeds what do you
09:26think about it or do you like it do you hate it and let me know in the comment section down below
