00:00Hey guys welcome back to your presence once again this is your host and gamer and in today's video

00:26I'm gonna be doing a movie review and I know I haven't posted anything in like about a month now

00:34What happened was my phone kinda got broken so I'm gonna process up trying to fix it or at least get a next one

00:43so I can use to record videos again

00:46Right now I'm bored someone's phone to film this

00:49but that's one reason why I'm not really doing much videos as of late

00:55I did want to do a review on this film because I just got to see it

00:59and I have to say this film is

01:04Alina Battle Ranger is quite a spectacular film itself

01:10so I do think it marks an achievement in some aspect

01:14but I wanna get into the major criticism first because I feel like a lot of the reviews don't do this film justice at all

01:21even though there are a lot of fan reaction that are saying parts of things

01:25the critics seem to be very, um, you know, biased in the criticism

01:32and, for once, some of them are compared to Mortal Engines which makes no sense at all

01:40because I've seen Mortal Engines and reviewed that film

01:44and I will admit that was a big mess

01:48even though they have some pretty, you know, good looking stuff too

01:52this film does have good looking stuff too

01:54sure, it's James Cameron, Robert Rodriguez

01:58you know, they've been working on this for a long time

02:01the visuals are off the chain

02:03but, um, the main, um, aspect of the film is

02:09the main character leader

02:11so I really think she did a good job, you know, the actress

02:15portraying the character, um

02:17I also admit, um, the story is done pretty well actually

02:23I don't know why it's getting so much, you know, criticism

02:27I mean, I know the last story seems a bit, um, too much

02:32um, I, I do admit

02:34they could've, you know, done that a little better

02:37with the, um, other actor

02:40you know, the male actor that she had with her

02:42um, but for the most part it was done pretty well

02:46um, their action is pretty damn good

02:51um, the main story revolves around, you know, her

02:56um, being found by this doctor

03:00who scrap parts for a living to help people

03:03you know, what happens is that

03:06he builds her body

03:08and, apparently she begins to find out

03:11stuff of her past

03:13she gets into all this, you know

03:15this crazy stuff, right

03:17with her, these other, you know, gang members, you know

03:20and, these other crazy people

03:23who have a lot of power and resources and such, right

03:28um, it's

03:30I'll admit, some of the actors are

03:32there are two really good actors in this movie

03:35Jennifer Conley and, um

03:38what's the next image of?

03:41um, okay

03:44the guy who played Vector, I don't wanna butcher his name

03:46but, the guy who did Vector character

03:51I'd say

03:52they

03:53they

03:54they were pretty good actors

03:55um, pretty good characters

03:56but

03:57I felt that they weren't that much of them

03:59which, like I said, understandable

04:01because

04:02the film focuses a lot on

04:04the leader

04:05and

04:06that's because this is a origin story

04:09um, I will note

04:11like the first half and all the film kinda

04:14it's kinda slow

04:16I mean, it takes its time

04:18you know, go and see what you

04:20character

04:22um

04:23well, I would

04:25I had to admit

04:26the second and the third act

04:28gets a lot better

04:29um

04:30overall

04:32the main setback for the film

04:35probably will have to be

04:36um

04:38the

04:39the

04:40the run time

04:41and

04:42the first act

04:43because

04:44all the other criticism

04:46from my point of view

04:47don't really seem that

04:48part of

04:49even though there were some

04:50drawbacks

04:51that I can understand

04:52you know

04:53the subplot

04:54or

04:55you know

04:56the love story

04:57um

04:58well, I will admit to this

05:01um

05:03there are some

05:04of the, um

05:05stuff here

05:06that

05:07is pretty much

05:08out there

05:09like

05:10if

05:11if you read the manga

05:12and watch the anime

05:13you know

05:14you probably will get it

05:15but if you haven't

05:16you might probably be

05:17kinda lost

05:18so

05:19um

05:20I can understand that

05:21I mean

05:22for me personally

05:23I don't

05:24really feel lost

05:25I think

05:26uh

05:27everything felt

05:28okay for me

05:29um

05:30it felt

05:31overall good

05:32actually

05:33um

05:34I don't know

05:35I mean

05:36I just don't really see

05:37all the criticism

05:38for the first

05:39you know

05:40aside from

05:41there's a few

05:42minor stuff

05:43maybe

05:44like the main thing

05:45would probably be the

05:46introduction

05:47you know

05:48the slow pacing

05:49um

05:50overall

05:51I'd probably

05:52would say

05:53hmm

05:55I would give it

05:568 out of 10

05:58it's

05:59very good

06:00um

06:01but

06:02not

06:03all that

06:04right

06:05but
