00:15at some outlets as a favorite towards Toledo right now if we look at this game's total 44

00:20and a half now up slightly to 45 and a half what gives tonight in action action for the spread line

00:25between Toledo and Miami Joe well you know Donnie you're you're spot on right two and a half is what

00:31it opened up at and boy oh boy it didn't take long before you went right through that key number of

00:37three to three and a half and now I'm seeing four and four and a half's continuing to roll in here

00:44on the road favorite that being Toledo but here's the problem Donnie and this is the problem a lot

00:50people have uh from a metric standpoint Toledo has been great from a wins and losses standpoint

00:57they just have not lived up to it and head coach Jason Candle and this is something you're going to

01:02hear a lot before kickoff he is one of the worst as a favorite when it comes to head coaches in the

01:09Mac he has lost 18 times as a favorite Donnie including 11 of at least a touchdown favorite he's not

01:17that big a favorite here but they're on their way to continuing this may go to four and a half may go

01:22to five I'm not buying it Chuck Martin at Miami of Ohio has been there for a long time this is the

01:29time of year that he usually wins I think Donnie let the public just I'll say oh it's Toledo they're

01:36gonna win yeah you just keep betting it up Donnie because I'll be waiting right before kick when that

01:41number gets to five and I'll be backing Miami of Ohio Northern Illinois on the road to UMass and some

01:49other match in action one game starts at seven the other game starts at seven you can watch that

01:53doubleheader 305 306 on the rotation Northern Illinois on the road at UMass look at this line

01:58opened up the look ahead around 13 and a half dropped slightly there 11 and a half now listed across

02:03the board the total what's happened to my match in here Joe 44 and a half being bet down to 43 and a

02:10half NIU versus UMass here what's the spread line action today for that oh it's hilarious Donnie we

02:17have made fun of UMass all year they are just hilariously bad right I mean even Akron Akron

02:23crushed UMass last week 44 to 10 so it's not a surprise to see them as a double digit dog here and I'm

02:31shocked it hasn't gone a little bit higher but the problem is they're taking on Northern Illinois who

02:35defensively pretty good offensively Donnie they've scored a total of 69 points in five

02:43MAAC conference games thus far they've only scored 110 points in nine games total this season here

02:51they are horrific offensively here but even the most horrific offensive teams well when you play UMass

02:58they make you look really really good here I think there's a reason this total Donnie has not moved

03:03since the open at 43 43 and a half nobody knows who's going to score in this game somebody will

03:10but I got news for you cannot trust Northern Illinois to be a double digit favorite here back I can't even

03:17believe I'm saying this Donnie you got it back UMass on the road again as they like to say by the way the

03:23devil going down to Georgia Saturday night we'll find out that's Texas and Georgia line open up at five

03:29and a half now we're seeing as high as six and a half at some outlets as a favorite towards the

03:33Bulldogs between the hedges the total Joe 51 and a half they're being bet down to 48 and a half it

03:38feels like Texas could get eliminated on Saturday night with a loss or they could rise to the occasion

03:44and knock off the Bulldogs and send chaos into the SEC what are we looking at from the spread line

03:48perspective Joe Texas Georgia I spoke with uh one of my uh one of my buddies there in a risk room uh

03:56yesterday and he said it has been nothing but Georgia money uh from the opening number and you

04:02talked about it here Donnie right we saw them open as maybe a four and a half five then it was five and

04:08a half now we're going to six it's been all Georgia money they keep coming in and betting Georgia and he

04:13said they did the same thing last week too uh when Georgia was playing Mississippi State and well that

04:19worked out pretty well for betters didn't it I mean that might have been one of the most no sweat covers

04:24uh of the season for Georgia now are they going to do the same thing here I my advice and what I'm

04:31hearing is that this is likely going to come close to seven Donnie before kick and when it does that's

04:38when the money will come back in on the Texas Longhorn so if you like Texas hold off you'll have

04:44a chance to bet them uh quickly when that line hits seven before the kick Sark heading into Georgia

04:52we'll see how that one turns ah another useless tv show yesterday this is why I just got to keep it

04:57here on the sports grid network we're not going to give you useless information that you cannot use

05:01known to change no matter what you say on a certain week that next week the games will be played in

05:06college football and new rankings will be released well the college football rankings did come out

05:09yesterday number one and number two no real surprise Ohio State and Indiana was interested to see if A&M

05:15might actually jump over Indiana but they didn't rest of the top five Alabama number four and Georgia

05:20number five but that's not really the focal point for me usual suspects are in there but the ACC Joe

05:26is very interesting Miami in 15th year is the highest ranked ACC team despite probably not even having a chance

05:33to play in the ACC championship game followed by Georgia Tech followed by Virginia followed by the Cardinal

05:39followed by Pitt you get the point here this is going to be interesting the way this plays out

05:44now you were explaining in caffeinated Joe is it possible or is it even isn't it against the rules like

05:49if you win the ACC championship game don't you automatically have to be placed in the college football

05:55playoff or no no no no keep in mind the new rule here is that you it's conference champions right it's the

06:05rule says the five highest ranked conference champions get bids that doesn't mean the high you're all all of

06:14the top of the power for conference champions no it means all a conference champion so the five highest

06:21ranked so my point was if Duke runs the table here as a four loss team and wins the ACC they're not

06:28going to be ranked higher than the Sun Belt champion and James Madison or the American Athletic Conference

06:33champion they're not going to be which means the ACC one of the four powers yeah no uh could very well

06:41have absolutely nobody representing them in the college football playoff interesting stuff as it boils down to

06:48now maybe we're just all playing for second place because Ohio State is that good but those rankings

06:53will change I can't stand the fact that people put time and effort into watching that college football

06:59playoff show the stupidest thing it's almost like Joe if I sold you and said you know what we're going

07:03to do a weekly NFL show we're going to put the playoff standings every single week up that you can watch

07:09and go well don't you have multiple games left in a chance yeah yeah but you need to watch this because

07:13right now Kansas City is going to win it and I go well Kansas City is not even the playoff no no no no no no

07:18trust me Kansas it doesn't make any sense at this point I've been railing on this college football

07:22playoff show for years it's just the way it is we talk college basketball we talk pro basketball we

07:27talk the NHL we talk NCAA football we talk NFL football we love to talk a lot here Joe but as

07:34you know this program is not just built on myself and Joe Ranieri saying you know what here's our takes

08:45beats them and they're certainly playing like champions again here new quarterbacks some new

08:50faces a lot of new faces on the defense but the schedule Donnie has not exactly been the toughest so

08:57I'm not sure is this defense as historically good as the numbers say they are I think we're going to

09:03find that out with them but I still think getting Alabama at that price Donnie is the way to go

09:09uh I can't remember the last time we can get Alabama at uh seven eight or nine to one I think

09:15they're a good bet because I think they also have a Heisman winning quarterback on that team
