00:00And a fast-moving hour, number one, right here on the early line.
00:03Sports Grid Network, Donnie Wrightside and Joe Ranieri.
00:06Yes, we talked a lot of NFL action.
00:07Just got done recapping some of the Major League Baseball highlights from last night.
00:10But we got some big Week 3 matchups in college football that we can watch,
00:14which includes the SEC.
00:15You got Georgia and Tennessee.
00:17How about the state of Florida in upheaval?
00:19The Miami Hurricanes in the top five now, taking on a top 20-ranked USF Bulls squad.
00:25Also, Texas A&M and Notre Dame, Florida and LSU.
00:28We got some things to deal with this weekend, Joe.
00:32We got a ton of things to deal with here.
00:35We didn't get a ton of big matchups last week and Week 2 because, I mean,
00:41we looked at the top five or six teams here in the poll, and, yeah,
00:45they all had cupcakes, but not so much this week.
00:48We are back to some battles and some rivalries here,
00:53including the one tonight with NC State and Wake Forest.
00:57So it's going to be a very tense week number three here in college football.
01:03We are a handicapping network, Joe.
01:05So sometimes we like to take a look at those line movements,
01:07and let's start with Georgia and Tennessee live on Rocky Top, 3.30 p.m.
01:12The SEC schedule.
01:14Love to see it this Saturday.
01:15Seven and a half is that opening number.
01:17Vanduul showing four and a half.
01:18The rest of the outlets, Joe, three and a halves across the board.
01:21A total that started at 50 and a half has now dipped to 49 and a half.
01:24Joe, explain to the people out there, why is this line moving in the direction towards Tennessee?
01:30Well, because there's a lot of uncertainty with the offensive line of Georgia,
01:35who lost not one but two of the mainstays, it looks like, over the last couple of weeks.
01:41So that's why we've seen Georgia go from, what, a touchdown favorite here to now three and a half.
01:48And, yeah, there's a lot of, there's been a lot of big bets, a lot of sharp money coming in on Tennessee pushing this thing down.
01:56Now, normally offensive linemen in college, yes, it's important.
02:00But is it going to move the line, Donnie, three and a half, four points?
02:04No, there is a big push by, and by the way, Georgia has dominated Tennessee over the last couple of years.
02:11This has not been a, this has been a one-sided rivalry.
02:14It's been all Georgia.
02:15But maybe, just maybe, with Aguiar a quarterback now, maybe, just maybe, Josh Heupel and company,
02:23could they, could they get a win at home as a three and a half point underdog?
02:28A lot of people think so.
02:30Yeah, Iomali, I was out there watching, like, they better not get that win because I should still be there.
02:34They didn't want to pay me money.
02:35Maybe it was the right choice there for Tennessee to say, you know what?
02:38You ain't worth that much money.
02:39You head out to UCLA.
02:40Yeah, what's UCLA doing?
02:41Absolutely nothing here.
02:43South Florida, Miami, Florida.
02:45That's the place to be here this weekend.
02:46A 4.30 start that sees the Miami Hurricanes open as a 15 and a half point favorite over the Bulls.
02:52Now up to minus 17 and a half in this game.
02:55The total from 53 and a half up to 57 and a half.
02:58Last week, you saw South Florida go into Jacksonville, or into Gainesville,
03:03and pick up a victory over the Florida Gators.
03:05Miami cruised with the easy victory over Bethune-Cookman, 45 to 3.
03:08Now these two teams play.
03:10Third straight week, South Florida's going to be playing a ranked opponent.
03:13Miami opened up against Notre Dame with that victory.
03:16Cruise control last week.
03:17But also understand this, Joe.
03:18South Florida is ranked.
03:19Then they take on the Florida Gators.
03:21Then the Florida State Seminoles.
03:23Then the Louisville Cardinal.
03:25If Miami can run this gauntlet, the sky could be the limit.
03:28But how do we see South Florida and Miami this weekend?
03:31Yeah, well, this is perception reality.
03:36And this is turning out to be a big pros versus the Joe's game as well.
03:40Because the public is looking at this game and going, wait a minute.
03:44Why are we not giving South Florida any credit here?
03:47I mean, they were a five and a half point home dog against a top 25 team.
03:52Boise State won that one.
03:53Oh, yeah.
03:54And then they were an 18-point road underdog in Gainesville in the swamp against Florida.
03:58Oh, yeah.
03:59They won that one.
04:00And now we're going to give them 16, 17 points here with my, oh, this is absurd.
04:06Give me again.
04:06No, no, no, no, no.
04:08Their luck will, the good team, much improved.
04:11But they are not coming to the hard rock here and beating Miami as a 17-point underdog like they did Florida.
04:19But, yeah, this is, it's tough to wrap your head around a team that's been this competitive, Donnie.
04:24But, yeah, no, this is the, this is where you start zigging and zagging, where everyone going left, you need to go right in this game.
04:33Carson Beck and the boys ready to play 4.30 p.m.
04:36How about Texas A&M and Notre Dame?
04:37The luck of the Irish.
04:38They've been off for a couple weeks.
04:39They're six and a half point favorites over A&M, Joe.
04:42Yeah, A&M, boy, this has got to make a break for them, too.
04:46Not exactly been all that impressive here, but we have seen some Notre Dame money here.
04:52It is in Notre Dame.
04:54Very tough place to play.
04:56Unfortunately for A&M, I do think Notre Dame has enough to be able to get it done in this one.
05:01Who's the A&M?
05:02Is it still a swore brick?
05:03I don't even know who it is for Notre Dame.
05:04But somebody needs to build that guy a statue outside the facility because he put together the dream schedule of all dream schedules for Marcus Freeman at this point.
05:12Maybe they win, maybe they lose.
05:13Heck, Notre Dame probably have six losses this year to make it into the college football playoff.
05:17It's just the way it is.
05:18Our number two next.
05:20The energy stays high.
