00:00Kevin Petula was not some sought-after coordinator that made rounds around the NFL, very well-respected,
00:07or maybe he was the next hot name in college.
00:10Let's give this guy an opportunity.
00:12You pointed it out the day they hired him.
00:14The guy was in the NFL for 17 years and didn't get a sniff for anything.
00:18Nobody ever asked to interview him.
00:21And Nick Sirianni, because he respects him, because he loves him,
00:26he promoted him to offensive coordinator.
00:29And it never looked good, John.
00:31No.
00:32There were five games out of 18 where it looked at least decent.
00:35I'm not saying good.
00:36I'm not saying great.
00:37I'm not saying, man, there's the high-powered Eagles offense.
00:41We're talking about a decent offense with the most expensive offense in the NFL.
00:46It never looked good.
00:48Okay.
00:48He never found a way to get it fixed.
00:51And I had to hear him Sunday night when asked why the second-half offense had been a problem all season long.
00:57The first three words that came out of his mouth was, I don't know.
01:02All right.
01:03All right.
01:04We got that.
01:05So we understand that.
01:06Everybody lived that.
01:07Everybody walked that road.
01:08We all understand that.
01:10But you know Nick Sirianni was not – Nick Sirianni did not make the call on Kevin Petula himself.
01:16No, I know.
01:17I'm sure it was a collaboration with Howie Rosen and Jeffrey Lurie.
01:20So blame the two of them, and I say equally, equally, that they let that happen.
01:28Blame them equally that they did not see what I saw, what I sounded the alarms about, that they didn't go, wait a minute here.
01:38They've been around the NFL.
01:39They lived this.
01:40They walked the road.
01:41So how come nobody's ever called – if I'm a Howie, I'm going, how come nobody's ever called me and said, I want to interview Kevin Petula.
01:50Can I have permission?
01:51Right.
01:52How come nobody ever wants to poach this guy?
01:54There's a reason.
01:56Because he wasn't a commodity.
01:58So I blame Howie just as much as I blame Nick because Nick was trying to do a solid to his buddy.
02:04Oh, yeah, he was.
02:06Mr. Lurie and Howie Roseman deserve just as much blame because they've been in the NFL game longer, and they allowed it to happen.
02:16They allowed him to be hired.
02:18So I blame them just as much.
02:20It was a stupid decision.
02:22Absolutely horrendous.
