00:00Do you think they'll be looking for any kind of starting, whether it be depth or a major starter?
00:06I think they're definitely looking for depth.
00:08They don't have much at AAA.
00:10The problem is everybody's looking for that type of depth and that type of pitching.
00:15You know, one thing that's going to complicate this trade deadline is they don't have a lot to give up.
00:19It is not a strong farm system.
00:23They haven't pushed a lot of guys in recent drafts toward the majors.
00:27I know they've got Crawford and Painter here.
00:30This year, and that's good.
00:32But there's not a lot else that's knocking on the door.
00:35And it's a very thin farm system.
00:38There are some pieces that teams like, some players that teams like.
00:43You're going to have to tap into that to fill your holes, and now you're going to become even weaker.
00:48So everybody talks about school ball.
00:51They don't have enough to get a guy like school ball.
00:53There's too many teams that have a chance to win with deeper farm systems that will make play for him.
01:01But I do think right-handed bat, I think left-handed reliever, I think depth starting.
01:06All areas that they could look to address at the deadline, with the right-handed bat, to me, being the
01:12priority.
01:13Who knows if that changes over the next six weeks?
01:16Who knows if it changes tomorrow when we get the news on Garcia?
01:19It might.
01:20So there's a ways to go, but the trading deadline will be complicated by the fact they do not have
01:26a powerful or a deep farm system.
01:28So there's a way to go.
