00:00What were some of your big takeaways about the Philadelphia Eagles franchise?

00:04This is one of the strangest situations for me in the league, and I'll explain.

00:09They win. They're always hanging around.

00:12They've got good players.

00:14They've got one of the, I think, a Hall of Fame defensive coordinator,

00:17if we put assistant coaches in, which we should.

00:19They've been to two Super Bowls in the last five or six years, one-one,

00:23had a chance to win the other.

00:24I mean, they're in the playoffs, yet we're disappointed.

00:26But for your city alone and the emotion, having played there,

00:31I think that that's good.

00:33The bar in Philadelphia, and this isn't because I'm on here,

00:35the expectations for this city I think raises the bar for all the sports teams there.

00:40Now, sometimes they may be a little unreasonable, but I do get it,

00:44because you sit there and say, man, does this need a wholesale change?

00:48That's kind of in Philadelphia.

00:49You know, a bunch of coordinator changes.

00:50They get the right coordinator in Kellen and Vic, and boom,

00:53they go back and win the Super Bowl.

00:54This year, struggled again on the offensive side of the ball,

00:57yet you look at the offense, you say, well, man, they won a bunch of games.

01:01They were in the playoffs, had a chance.

01:02So what is missing?

01:04So the sum's pretty good.

01:07I just think some of the pieces that are fitting in didn't have the year they wanted.

01:11I'm not trying to simplify it, and I understand the emotion,

01:13because I, too, expected more.

01:16Yet here's a team that gets to the playoffs every year, wins a division,

01:18and is wearing the most recent ring in the NFL.

01:21So what was it?

01:23I don't think there's a lot missing on defense, guys, a little bit of health.

01:26You've got to play some boring football, and Philadelphia does that,

01:29and I think that's part of the problem is the spectacular wasn't there enough this year.
