00:00In comparison to the other top teams in Major League Baseball,
00:03do you still consider the Phillies a dangerous team in the majors?
00:09Honestly, no, I don't.
00:10And in years past, I always said yes,
00:13but I just don't believe in the consistency anymore.
00:17I mean, I've been on with you guys, I've been on with some others,
00:19and I've always said that this lineup for the last five years
00:23gets hot and cold together.
00:25So you referenced the beatdown of the Mets over the weekend.
00:29And, yes, it was very much a two-fronted attack with Kyle and with Harper.
00:34But now you look and you see him get exposed by a guy like Foster Griffin last night,
00:38who's now beaten him twice this year.
00:39He beat him in his first start back in late March.
00:42So, again, we're going to talk trade deadline and all that kind of stuff,
00:45but this team has glaring holes.
00:47And I think that in the past you could say, like, all right, the bullpen is better,
00:52but it's not.
00:53And now you look and you say, all right,
00:55Trey Turner is a $300 million problem right now.
00:58You could always say it was Schwarber, it was Harper, it was Turner.
01:02Those three guys could carry you for a little bit,
01:04but now Turner's not even part of that equation.
01:06So you can't win with two guys in your lineup carrying you.
01:10You just can't.
01:11You might be able to get into the first round of the playoffs as a wild card,
01:14but you're not going to do a whole lot after that.
01:16So I still think what helps them is the top of their rotation.
01:19They still have two of the best front-line starters in the game.
01:25You're welcome.
