00:00Last night before the game, the NFL honored what they called Super Bowl legends, and they had nine players come out, and one of them was Jalen Hurts.
00:12The other players were Steve Young, Lin Swan, Eli Manning, Peyton Manning, Emmitt Smith, Tom Brady, Joe Montana, and Jerry Rice.
00:20That sounds like a DNA thing.
00:21And I saw some people on social media pushing back at the idea that how could you say Jalen Hurts is a, quote, legend?
00:30Well, let me give you some numbers as to why Jalen Hurts should 100% already be considered a Super Bowl legend, Ricky Bowe.
00:39So we already know what he did in Super Bowl 57.
00:42He threw for over 300 yards, ran for 70 yards, and he had four damn touchdowns, including a two-point conversion as well for the octopus.
00:49In Super Bowl 59, he had another 221 passing yards, 72 rushing yards, three touchdowns.
00:56That's seven total touchdowns in two Super Bowls.
00:58But listen to this.
01:00He's the only quarterback in NFL history with multiple Super Bowls of 100-plus passer rating and 50-plus rushing yards.
01:09Only one ever.
01:11He's only the second quarterback to have a 115-plus passer rating and 50 rushing yards.
01:18The other one, Joe Montana.
01:19He's got the highest completion percentage in Super Bowl history at 73.3.
01:25His passer rating of 109.4 is the fourth best behind only Montana, Bradshaw, and Troy Aikman with a minimum of 50 attempts.

01:38If we're being honest here, how is Peyton Manning a Super Bowl legend?

01:43Peyton Manning's one of the greatest quarterbacks of all time.
01:46But you look at his stat lines.
01:47In the Super Bowl, you talk about getting carried.
01:51Peyton Manning was carried in the Super Bowl.
01:53Yeah, so when we're talking about Super Bowl legends, now I'm not saying NFL legend yet.
01:58I'm not putting Jalen Hurts there.
02:00But just based off of Super Bowl performances, Jalen Hurts was more than deserving to be called a Super Bowl legend already.
02:07And he's only been in the league for five years.
