00:00First and foremost, this was a big swing for the Eagles, and it's not without risk.
00:04It's a boom or bust hire, but there's a lot of intrigue there with Sean Mannion
00:08because he's known to be a bright football mind,
00:11someone who is able to teach and convey his points so that it can be processed by everyone.
00:18And I think that the same can be said if you're looking at it through the lens of Christian Parker.
00:23He was the same type of coach,
00:24and I think that really lends itself to being able to get everyone on offense on board.
00:30And the fact that he was a backup quarterback in the NFL,
00:33and to a point he was a veteran backup quarterback in the NFL,
00:37so you're kind of an extension of the coaching staff, so you're wise to it.
00:41You maybe see the game from a different perspective, and you're able to teach that.
00:45And when this hiring was announced, to me, I thought first and foremost of Jalen Hurts
00:51and how he's going to most benefit from this hiring of Sean Mannion
00:54because I do believe that Sean will find a way to tap into Jalen Hurts
01:00and be able to allow him to maximize his skill set.
01:03And so everything that I've heard behind the scenes, guys,
01:06just a really bright football mind and someone who, going back to his college days at Oregon State,
01:12was well-versed in the West Coast offense.
01:14He's going to add his own spin to this Eagles offense,
01:17and I'm curious to see what it looks like.
01:19I'm curious to see what it looks like.
