02:36The TV6 News, revealing facts, provoking opinions.
02:54Good evening, Trinidad and Tobago, our global audience, and of course, our brothers and sisters in Grenada.
03:00This is Beyond the Tape, and I'm your host with me, Husbands.
03:03We do apologize for the late start, but nonetheless, we continue with what we have to discuss today.
03:08And my special guest, who is no stranger, being a part of this show, and he's back once again to
03:13join us this week.
03:14We have the man behind the St. James U Club.
03:17We have Corporal Shabody here with us.
03:20Good evening to you, Sue.
03:21I promise, Miss Husband, that I will introduce you one day.
03:24Yes.
03:25I swear, they come in.
03:27Yes.
03:28Thank you very much.
03:29It is absolutely an honor being here present.
03:31And police are just outside there with wood rocks.
03:33They are outside.
03:34I am letting you all know.
03:36Now, we have a lot to dive into today.
03:38Yes.
03:38Because let's touch quickly on what happened with regards to the bill that was passed late last night and will
03:45become law once proclaimed by the president.
03:47And for those of you who are wondering what we're talking about, remember, we spoke about the drinking and cannabis
03:52and gambling.
03:53So, the legislation to increase the legal age for the consumption of alcohol, tobacco, and cannabis, as well as participation
04:03in gambling, has now been passed in both the House of Representatives and the Senate and will become law when
04:11proclaimed by President Christine Kangaloo.
04:14Now, this is something that many persons are still a bit upset about, not really embracing yet, but...
04:21We, as you rightly say, it is now law.
04:24Yeah.
04:25And we have to do our due diligence.
04:27We have to now speak to our young people, speak to those who, explain to them what is happening, why
04:33the government went that particular way, why they should suspend alcohol for a while.
04:38And it is in their medical interest, and it is in their interest of their physical being that, you know,
04:45and we have to also understand there has to be also an education drive.
04:50It cannot be all penalty.
04:52Well, that's how they feel.
04:54Well, it is our responsibility as caregivers, as parents, to sit with them as a U-Club leader, to sit
05:01with them and, you know, engage them and let them know, do you know why this law was passed?
05:05How are we going to retrain, you know, the minds of all of...
05:09Because this is a culture, let me make it very clear.
05:12It's a norm in society that we have been accustomed to, and now it's like a cold turkey.
05:18Well, first of all, not all young people are drinking alcohol.
05:21True.
05:21Not all young people are gambling.
05:23Not all young people use marijuana.
05:24Thank you very much.
05:26And these young people probably, there's no pressure on them.
05:28And for those who probably expose, we have to explain to them, not in a harsh way, not like they
05:36are victims, but we have to let them know that this law will work in your interest because once they
05:43suspend that, then long-term there will be benefits in terms of understanding that I have suspended alcohol.
05:51I've shown resilience.
05:53And because of that, I am now able to make more informed choices.
05:57Do you know when young people consume alcohol very early, what happens to them?
06:02That is a discussion we have with them.
06:04Yes.
06:04Do you know when you smoke, especially this kind of marijuana, black cigarette, what is happening to them?
06:10All kind of things.
06:11It's different.
06:11It's not, you know.
06:13Missals ones, I kid you not.
06:14The chemicals and all the attitudes that they add to it.
06:18Artificial as well too.
06:20So there's a greater high and young, I'm telling you that the young people that are now coming to me,
06:25I'm saying, Miss, I would not be able to help you.
06:28I have to refer them to this in dance.
06:29Yes.
06:30Psychosocial help.
06:3112-step.
06:32Young people are poly addict.
06:34Corporal, down to the insects and all, not even following the marijuana, I think, because it lasted a month.
06:40And that is crazy.
06:41So that means it's a lot of chemicals added to it.
06:43But we will discuss this and more.
06:44Now, I want to dive in now because this is an initiative that we are seeing taking over these schools
06:48right now.
06:49And we mentioned what took place in Mokurapo East, secondary.
06:53And Floppy Script was definitely most present.
06:55And I can tell you the young persons were totally involved.
06:59You all take a look at this.
07:18The name of this program is Flip the Script, right?
07:29Sometimes we just feel what we're doing now would not affect us in the future.
07:33But you will need to be mindful, right?
07:35In law, it says once you are older than the age of eight, you can't be charged and convicted of
07:41committing an offence.
07:43Because I went to prison when I was 20 years old.
07:47And I came out when I was 51.
07:51Let me tell you something, and this applies to every young man in here and young woman.
07:56You're only going to get one opportunity.
07:57Once that bullet hits your head, once you're in trouble, once you do certain things, you can't overturn it.
08:05When I go back to America, you know, they says, no, you can't go because I got a record.
08:10When you go for a job, if you mess up, like you said, to be an army officer, a police
08:14officer, they're going to look at your record.
08:17Right now, they looked at my record and they says, nah, my man, you can't.
08:20And when I was leaving America, they said, sign this paper because we do not want you to come back
08:25to America.
08:26You're a menace.
08:26You're a troublemaker.
08:27We don't want you back.
08:28And all my families up in America, all of y'all getting an opportunity.
08:33Maybe some schools are smarter than the others, but it ain't about the school, you know.
08:36It's about what you want.
08:38No matter the school you go to, no matter the way it starts, we should always have a great finish.
08:45And we have a way to get started off bad and keep on progressing up.
08:51When you fall, don't always get back up and never stay down.
08:56The point I'm making, young men and young women, is this.
09:01Y'all getting an opportunity to go to school to learn.
09:05And some of y'all, if you don't get on board with your life and take your life serious from
09:10here, it's the streets from the streets.
09:13It's either you're going to get hurt, you're going to be dead, or you're going to be in prison.
09:19Just try to keep your head on your shoulders and move positive and have a positive mindset towards your life.
09:25Because the things that we really don't know, they will impact on the future, and they might not make it
09:31to life.
09:32Every speaker, every speaker wants to impact upon you and say, listen to me, you can exercise the power of
09:40choice.
09:41Don't blame society, don't blame poker it, don't blame upper-level, don't blame the environment for your failure.
09:46A failure is a person who stops tracking you.
09:49A loser, a loser walks a particular way, but when it is you're inspiring, you touch, and you change your
09:57mind, you set up first, you're going to flip the script.
10:00Then you're going to say, hey, I'm going to tell you something.
10:03I have ascended to a particular place, and therefore you take it with me, because all you think is how
10:09you speak, and how you speak is the place of being here.
10:13I want to tell you something, I brought up with six sisters, I want to tell you that you are
10:19beautiful inside and outside.
10:21You are beautiful inside and outside.
10:23Let you fill us, watch for the touch, and clock them out, and you know you clock it.
10:29Clock it.
10:32Those who laugh last, would laugh they like this.
10:36You see, when you flip the script, when you flip the script, you don't have time to be gambling.
10:41When you flip the script, you don't have time to be in the principal's office.
10:44When you flip the script, you're not on a suspension program.
10:47When you flip the script, it's because you're organizing yourself, you're a footballer, you're focused.
10:51When you flip the script, you're not a teacher who will put on medals on you and say you're an
10:55excellent student.
10:56All those who have flipped the script, give yourself a clap.
11:01I think everyone should join the Pizzou Group because we've done the same thing that we did for me.
11:06Having respect, discipline.
11:07Well, our club is celebrating 34 years, and I would like to extend that invitation.
11:16You want to play football?
11:17Come in the Pizzou Group.
11:18You love Oland, Oland, Oland.
11:20You want to drum?
11:22Come in the Pizzou Group.
11:23You want ballroom dancing?
11:25Come in the Pizzou Group.
11:27You want to learn to do muka jammies?
11:29Come in the Pizzou Group.
11:30You want to know that your clubs are a stepping stone to join the Army of the Coast Guard?
11:35Come in the Pizzou Group.
11:36This is the safest place to be.
11:39They taught me how to keep tidy, how to keep clean, how to communicate, how to help others and be
11:45respectful.
11:46So it made you a better person?
11:48It made me a better person in life.
11:50Changed my life around here.
11:58Flipping the script, of course, in East Mokurapo Secondary School, and we see that they're able to rewrite the story,
12:04Corporal Shabadi.
12:05This is something where we are seeing the initiative and the children moving forward.
12:09But from what we saw, that little that we saw there, how were they receiving it?
12:14I think after the lecture, there was enough evidence.
12:18They wanted to join your club.
12:19They wanted to ask questions.
12:21They wanted to find out about this.
12:22They wanted to find out about that.
12:23It wasn't just a lecture.
12:24You know, they converge on you.
12:26They were asking questions.
12:27They wanted to take your number.
12:29You know, they were very much insightful in terms of the information.
12:32You see, straight talk is the best to talk with young people right now.
12:35Of course.
12:36And listening.
12:37From the heart.
12:39Because you cannot come and talk people, talk with young people.
12:42You cannot talk real talk with them.
12:43Because they live in a different reality.
12:46Correct.
12:46And therefore, we have to connect with that reality.
12:49So I must come and flip the script.
12:51I must come and hear the French speakers.
12:53I think the gentleman who was incarcerated did justice.
12:57And by extension, you know, it was consistent with you can make and exercise the power of choice.
13:04And that is beautiful.
13:05Too many times young people feel at their corner.
13:08But God has given you the power to choose.
13:10He has also given the intelligence to be smart, be tactful.
13:13And by extension, how to maneuver.
13:15And we must give them those tools.
13:18So it was very, very important.
13:20And the children who engage.
13:22Did not tend to say, be quiet.
13:24Yes, yes.
13:25No, you could have seen that, right?
13:27Yes.
13:27And I love what the young man said when he mentioned that if you do bad, you have an opportunity
13:32to do good.
13:33Consequences.
13:34Persons who continue to do good.
13:36That doesn't mean you have to do bad news.
13:37Just continue doing good and be the example for your peers moving forward.
13:40But more to discuss with Flip the Script and so much more.
13:43Right now, it's time for us to take a look at what's making today's headlines.
14:13And those are your stories making today's headlines.
14:16We take that short break.
14:17We'll be back.
14:18Go!
14:19Go!
14:23Go!

17:02So it's another edition of Flip the Script.
17:05We're here today at East Mocarapo Secondary School.
17:07And things looking nice.
17:09So let's look ahead inside, see what the vibe is like, and hear what everybody has to say.
17:12I love everything about it from the speakers that came, because our children need real-life context,
17:19and these presenters were able to give real-life context to our kids.
17:23To me, flipping the script means to change your life around, to go on a positive path.
17:29So, for instance, if you want to do anything negative, turn it around and start to do positive,
17:34because you can get a very bad impact if you continue a bad way.
17:38Because the place is done really hard.
17:40Try to make it look like if we are a good country, and try to flip the script.
17:45No matter the school you go to, no matter the way to start, you should always have a great finish.
17:52I want to tell you, ladies, something.
17:54I want to tell you, ladies, something.
17:56I grew up with six sisters, and I tell ladies that you are beautiful inside and outside.
18:01You are beautiful inside and outside.
18:04Let the fellas watch for the touch, and clock them around and clock it.
18:11It means that by the time you wink, you'll be looking at the world of work.
18:16And therefore, the world is not waiting for those who love to make excuses.
18:21The world is waiting for those who can step up to the plate and say,
18:25I'm a youth, a proud youth.
18:27I've flipped the script.
18:29I come from a rough area, but I'm doing well with myself.
18:31Why should your friends join the police youth?
18:34Discipline, sir. Discipline is our big thing with this community, you know?
18:37Everybody needs a plate.
18:39Respect our diligence.
18:41Make sure you have a head on your shoulders.
18:42Always keep our positive thoughts, and don't encourage yourself of other subtle negative things
18:48that are going to affect you in the future if you want to be a police or a soldier or
18:52something like that.
18:53Always keep our positive energy, and encourage people to do positive things as well.
18:58All right, so you heard it here yourself.
19:00Of course, you can head across to our website, ttps.gov.tt, and you can get all your information,
19:05find the youth club, police youth club nearest you, or you can also submit your information,
19:09and somebody from the TTPS will contact you, and they'll give you more information about joining the nearest police youth
19:15club.
19:19Flip the script.
19:20I mean, as we mentioned, don't take it from us.
19:22You heard it from the young ones themselves, and it is clear, corporal, that they are willing.
19:28They are trying.
19:28They are good children out there, you know.
19:30We are more good children than the bad apples that we see,
19:33and the bad ones we definitely need to try and help to show there's a way that they could move
19:38forward.
19:38But, corporal, let me ask you this off-jump.
19:41Please.
19:42After all of this, and you can see the excitement, you can see they want to engage,
19:45they know right from wrong, and doing all of this,
19:49and then they will have to go back into an environment that is contradicting what was just presented before them.
19:55It's hard.
19:56It's going to be difficult.
19:58You're asking too much of hard questions, but also, I'm sorry, that is very resilient youth comes in.
20:02Yeah.
20:03Because the resilient youth will seek to ensure that you rise to the challenge.
20:07That when mommy fails, daddy fails, I will not be a failure.
20:10That you have a purpose.
20:12And we're not going to leave the parents out, because this triangle arrangement is completed with the parent input.
20:20So there will be a discussion with the PTA.
20:23There will be a discussion in terms of asking parents to come on board and partner with us.
20:28And you make a, listen to me, I have seen young people say, sir, I'm under pressure.
20:34Yeah.
20:34Sir, you don't believe, I'm now seeing a little, and I'm only fighting my dog, sir.
20:39And you have to give them, and let them know that they're resilient, they're strong.
20:42You can make it.
20:43You cannot be, you can't have a testimony unless you are tested.
20:47All of us.
20:48That's right.
20:49So let them know, this is when you are being tested.
20:51You're tested in maths, English, social studies.
20:54And you're tested too in your morality, your integrity.
20:57And you must come out with A's.
20:59Yes.
20:59A minus, A plus.
21:01And even though somebody want to put F, F is not fail.
21:04F is because you're fantastic.
21:06Because you have a future.
21:07You see, we have to change this profit of doom talk with young people.
21:12We have to change.
21:16That social greed needs to be, and many of us, our social greed is very low.
21:21That's right.
21:22Even as adults.
21:23Speak life into the youth.
21:25Yes.
21:26And they will emerge, and they will feel good.
21:29And I'll tell you this, these adults who are pretending to be perfect, we have made a lot of, as
21:35I speak.
21:36We have to tell the children that too.
21:38We have made mistakes the same way.
21:39That's right.
21:40And God is still working on us.
21:41We're still working, and we never stop learning.
21:43We never stop pushing through.
21:44We have never stopped going through obstacles, hurdles, you name it.
21:48As you said, resilience is important in the way in which we deal with the situations or challenges that come
21:54before us.
21:54Because we continue, we are humans, and we may not, not may not, we don't know everything.
22:00But in this case, we need to know how to deal with it.
22:03And we can see with how society is playing out.
22:06That's right.
22:06How we interact with things that come to us that are different, that we disagree with things that we may
22:11not want.
22:11Yes.
22:12But it is all on how we react.
22:14My husband, you can imagine, and I've seen you done before because you have invited me several times on panel
22:19discussion.
22:20Yes.
22:20You are speaking to girls, and you are telling them about your role and your life.
22:25And probably once upon a time, men used to dominate.
22:28And now you have blossomed, and you have earned your space.
22:31That's what young girls want to hear.
22:33They want to see women who can tap and can inspire, and can really speak to them and say,
22:38if husbands can do it, I can do it too.
22:40Yes.
22:41And at the end of the day, there must be courage.
22:44And when you fall, you're destiny.
22:47Get up again.
22:48The only way you can go is up again.
22:49Resilience.
22:50We will take your calls and more and more of the discussions of Flip The Script because our young people,
22:54they are our future.
22:54We'll be back.

25:53And welcome back.
25:54And if you're now joining us, we have Corporal Shabity here with us in for ASP, Russell.
25:58And we love when he is here regardless.
26:01Now, I know some persons have been now tuning in and they're hearing this initiative, Flip
26:05the Script, and they may not be aware of what it is.
26:07Could you give us a full understanding for those of you who have missed it?
26:11Certainly, Flip the Script is a youth violent prevention and long-term engagement strategy delivered through 17-priority secondary schools
26:22and built on the conviction that young people will change the direction of their life when they are given credible,
26:29alternative, sustained support.
26:31The initiative roots lies in the TTPS 2012, be a body, not a bully campaign, which addresses bullying in schools.
26:39And you know that is terrible and encourage students to choose friendship over protection.
26:44And there's a second component, which is mentorship.
26:48And this is the brainchild of the Deputy Commissioner of Police, Mr. Benjamin, where they're not being reactive, but they're
26:56being proactive.
26:57Whether we're working with young people at risk, moving them from at risk to at promise.
27:02So, therefore, even though you live in a high-risk community, we want to teach you how to be resilient.
27:08We want to teach you how to, you know, to do a line on the block.
27:11The block is no profit.
27:12And, therefore, that mentorship will allow them a phone call away.
27:16How was your day?
27:18You know, what's happening with you?
27:19And there will be a bond taking place.
27:21And I know the power of mentorship.
27:23I have the beneficiary of mentorship in terms of growing up in my life.
27:28People just played a fundamental role, you know, in keeping me on the straight and narrow path because my mother
27:33had eight, right, two boys and six girls.
27:37So that there were people who impacted on me.
27:39And because of mentoring, I'm here today to see how mentorship works.
27:45And I want to salute DCP Benjamin for really using mentorship where it is needed the most.
27:52You follow?
27:52Yes.
27:53There are schools, there are young boys who are crying out for mentors, crying out for some male figure.
27:58However, the community leader is superficial.
28:01It's all false.
28:02It's all fictitious.
28:03Yes, it is.
28:03You know?
28:04And, therefore, we need genuinely to step up the plate.
28:06We talk to them too much.
28:07What are the community leader doing?
28:08And what is one doing?
28:09What are you doing?
28:10What are you doing?
28:10Correct.
28:11You know?
28:11So I just want to salute Frib the Script, the mentorship program.
28:15I think it has a lot to offer.
28:16And I think the children are embracing it.
28:18And we should start first with the positive.
28:20It must be saluted.
28:21So happy to hear that.
28:22And, of course, to the entire team who is behind the initiative.
28:25And I hope that members of the communities as well and all the other schools will continue being involved in
28:31this said initiative.
28:32Now, we're going to head to the currently area because they have some issues in the currently area.
28:37And it may be in the currently area.
28:40But I'm just saying, when you see cows, we still have cow signs.
28:46You know that, right?
28:47That's alluding you to be aware.
28:49Cow person, yes.
28:49That's right.
28:50Right.
28:50And an incident took place that was caught on social media.
28:54And this is how...
28:56Things unfolded?
28:57Yeah.
28:57This is going to happen to you.
28:59What?
29:00Yes.
29:02Oh, Lord.
29:03The cows weren't expecting any driver.
29:06Oh, Lord.
29:06He wasn't...
29:07And the driver was not speeding, eh?
29:10Yes.
29:10The cow just ran out.
29:11Yeah.
29:12They was crossing.
29:13I'm seeing that.
29:13But my thing is, is that also the drivers...
29:17If you know you're in an area that is known to have cattle live...
29:23Please.
29:24Please.
29:25You're familiar with the area.
29:27You're familiar with the environment.
29:28The cow?
29:29Yes.
29:30Oh, Lord.
29:31Now, this year, I don't know how the insurance is going to deal with this.
29:35I really don't know how they're going to deal with this.
29:36Because thank God for the video, I guess they will have to use it to show the insurance.
29:39Thank you very much.
29:40That he was trying to...
29:42You could see he was trying to stop because you see the tires burning and the cows just couldn't make
29:47it.
29:47Wow.
29:48And he was trying to stop and he wasn't able to stop in enough time.
29:52Hopefully, the cows are alive.
29:53The driver, most importantly.
29:55And if there are passengers, they are A-OK.
29:58But now, this is a serious inconvenience.
30:00Corporal, how could persons, you know...
30:02I think people need to be...
30:04If you have to...
30:06You know, you have to brighten your luminary designs.
30:09More than that, we need to tell people in...
30:11Especially in those areas where there is a lot of cattle and so on.
30:14Yes.
30:15And if you have to put bombs, if you have to use...
30:17You know what I call them?
30:18Dead police officers.
30:19Police.
30:20You know, put it.
30:21Yeah, put it.
30:22Because there are some people...
30:25Unfortunately, even the speed you're going like that, you cannot slow down.
30:28Yes.
30:29You see, speed is something else, you know.
30:30If you go at an acceptable speed and you see an animal...
30:34You know, you could slow down and allow the animal and, you know, give that kind of green light.
30:39Because it's clear like the animal crossed the other side and was trying to make it on the next side
30:45of the roadway.
30:45Yes.
30:46And the driver was maybe...
30:47I don't know if it didn't average, you know...
30:49That is an absolutely excellent video you could use to remind people, listen to me, there are some geographical space.
30:57Yes, you have to be mindful.
30:58You have to be mindful that cattle are moving, you know, there's a lot of greenery.
31:03And sometimes you have to really do your due diligence and drive at a particular speed in case anything run
31:09out.
31:10Yes.
31:10You know, thank God he can repair the vehicle, he's alive as you're saying.
31:12Yes.
31:13And the cows and them, you know, just move around.
31:14Hopefully they're good.
31:15Yeah, they're good.
31:15We have a call-on, we'll call-out.
31:17Good evening.
31:19Hello?
31:22Hello?
31:23Is the caller there?
31:25Hi.
31:26Hi.
31:26Good evening to you.
31:27Good evening to you, ma'am.
31:29Good evening to Officer Chavez.
31:30Good evening to you, sir.
31:31Good evening to you, sir.
31:32I want to share a little small thing here that I still shake up on it and also my wife
31:37still shake up on it.
31:39And in Marabella today, around 20 past four, I went, not 20 past four, I went to purchase a little
31:49material like for building steel running by a well-known store in Marabella by Super Sad Hardware.
31:58Bear in mind, I was supposed to offer business days, operating on Sundays and holidays.
32:03I went to the inside to the cashier and I told her to go to the back.
32:07So I went to the back to sort all the material and my madam was by the road.
32:13I gave her the money and this guy came up to her and said that he wanted a phone call.
32:18But I was not in front, I was already in the back.
32:21And he kept coming up to her, she said, and he wanted a phone call, he wanted a phone call.
32:26And he was aggressive and coming to her, she decided to back, back, and as she backed back a little
32:31bit, he snatched the money and snatched her bearer for what she had cut or he snatched her the bearer
32:36from she had.
32:37You know, I want to tell people outside, I know you're supposed to, you know, you're not supposed to go
32:41out to their goals, their belongings, if your thing is right now.
32:44I mean, sometimes, why would you have something and you know you can't wait in peace?
32:47But I want to say something, this evening, in fact, I want to say, if I had a gift, if
32:53I had a gift on me, would I be the situation with the young man?
32:56And apart from that, don't they go out there, I thought, it's a good thing that I went in inside
33:01because I would not ever see that happen with anyone in my family or anybody out there knowing who I
33:05am, right?
33:07And if that person that I am, he might have killed me or even killed she.
33:11I want to say thank God, she alive this evening, but I want to say hats off to the Marabella
33:16police.
33:17I want to say it again, I want to say hats off to the Marabella police.
33:21I get so excited because one of my good friends, he's Sergeant Ramnery, and he tell me, he said, you
33:30call me, you know, I saw society here.
33:34He said, you had to contact Marabella with me.
33:36Like Cora Marabella, and I know he also contacted Marabella and let them know so, so, so.
33:41But I want to say the officers in response to that call this evening and reached out by the hardware,
33:47I want to say hats off to them.
33:48They were very nice officers.
33:50They was ready to lie that nice to us.
33:51They never had no aggression in all with us, but they never find the air-finding personnel yet.
33:56But we don't have, I know he's a selfie, a selfie vehicle, a white, but the guy, I have the
34:02footage from the hardware where we're not seeing his face properly.
34:06I want to say, again, hats off to the Marabella police, they realize history in the places that they could.
34:13I just, I don't want to say, not all police, but not all police have ways in them.
34:18His eyes obviously, however, if they come to you, you will go back to them.
34:22However, you come to them, if you go aggressive to them, they will come aggressive to you.
34:27All right?
34:27All right.
34:27So today, I want to tell everybody out of this.
34:31I want to tell everybody out of this.
34:32Yes, we have jewels.
34:34We have belongings.
34:35But we really can't wear these things anymore.
34:38But it's a bearer value for around $4,500 for it, and plus the death runoff at $1,500 and
34:47something.
34:47But if she had $1,500 and something, then we're going to get $800 for me.
34:51So I want to say, people, be safe outside it.
34:55All right.
34:55Thank you so much.
34:56Corporal, you'll respond to the caller after the break.
34:59We need to take that break.
34:59We'll be back.
35:02We'll be back.
35:03We'll be back.
35:03We'll be back.
35:04We'll be back.
35:04We'll be back.
35:04We'll be back.
35:05We'll be back.
35:07We'll be back.
35:21We'll be back.
35:44We'll be back.
35:49We'll be back.
36:19We'll be back.
36:45We'll be back.
36:45We'll be back.
36:53We'll be back.
37:08We'll be back.
37:11We'll be back.
37:28We'll be back.
37:37We'll be back.
38:04And welcome back.
38:05Now remember you can give us a call at 623-1711, extension 1996 or 1996.
38:10We have a call on Whole Caller.
38:12Good evening.
38:13Hi, good evening.
38:15Good evening to you, sir.
38:17Good evening, Officer Charbonnet.
38:18Blessings to you, sir.
38:19For years, I've been saying that situation there with the cattle was a disaster waiting
38:26to happen.
38:27For years, I've been seeing those cattle rumen.
38:32And whilst we may speak about the driver being careful and so on, who are the owners
38:38of that cattle that keeps roaming the trees there?
38:43What are their responsibilities?
38:45This has been happening for years.
38:48From that point there, all the way down to Lightning Norfolk, they are roaming without
38:55anybody taking care of them.
38:58So I think law enforcement must find out who is the owner of the cattle.
39:03Correct.
39:03And they must also be brought to be responsible for what has taken place.
39:09Thank you very much.
39:10Thank you so much, sir.
39:11Yes.
39:11And I'm happy that we have some very much informed and educated listeners and callers.
39:18So, brother, excellent point.
39:19I think I'm well-respected that you have cattle.
39:23Make sure it's well-secured.
39:24Make sure you don't put places in harm's way.
39:27You know, as a caretaker, it's important to that.
39:30You know, you do the diligence.
39:32So I totally support.
39:34I'm considering the gentleman from Marabella.
39:37Thank you very much.
39:38Sergeant Ramnerine.
39:39Take a bow.
39:40You know, when officers do good work, we must applaud them.
39:43And the gentleman did indicate that as much as his wife was traumatized, you know, the
39:48police came and they would feel a sense of relief.
39:51Don't provoke the devil.
39:53Don't be wearing it.
39:54There are sometimes, I'm just the jewelry I wear.
39:57I'm very circumspect where I wear it.
39:58Not because I'm a law enforcement officer.
40:00I could do what I want.
40:01I'm going to provoke the devil.
40:02I don't have time for that.
40:03You know, I know where to wear it and I know where not to wear it.
40:06And I appeal to people that these young fellas are different now.
40:11They're different.
40:11I don't know what he is a law enforcement officer and I'm going to have a second thought.
40:15Right?
40:15So people, be very circumspect.
40:18Know your environment.
40:19Look wrong.
40:19Do not be complacent.
40:20And it will be very helpful in terms of how you go about exchanging your cash in public.
40:28Yes.
40:28Now, it's time for us to head to the Malibu area because this incident took place.
40:31Let's take a look.
40:36Corporal Shabadi.
40:39Listen to me.
40:41Somebody's brand new car, you know.
40:42Wow.
40:44P-E-L, you know.
40:46So, no one could park the vehicles anywhere.
40:49Yes.
40:50Persons are coming to take what is theirs.
40:53They're scrapping, yeah.
40:54And those are parts in you, you know.
40:56Yes.
40:57They deliberately takes it in parts because they know it is in the mud.
41:02The lights.
41:02Yes.
41:03The hood.
41:03Mm-hmm.
41:04Parts, I'm sure, within the vehicle.
41:06These are fellas.
41:07As well.
41:07Yeah, they're working.
41:08They're working in places where they're scrap cars, so it's very easy for them to dismantle
41:13it.
41:14Now, Corporal, when it comes to situations like this, and persons go to some of these spots
41:21where you will get parts, how would you have stolen or not when you're thinking that this
41:26is a legit business, a legit business front, but clearly some of them are buying stolen
41:32items because that is why they're doing that.
41:34And we spoke about the importance of having a receipt.
41:37Yes.
41:37You know, because if policemen do and conduct their inquiries, you know, motor vehicle, stolen
41:43vehicles, they do very good work, excellent work, and they'll be able to, you know, to look
41:47for some kind of number that is hidden.
41:50And we'll say, listen to me, this part that you have is a stolen part, you know.
41:53A demand presenter receipt, then fine.
41:55But if it didn't present a receipt, then you have some questions answered.
41:59You know, so we're telling people, make sure that you have the name of the person you purchase
42:03it and a good contact number, and if you want to go further, a copy of the ID card.
42:09Which is even better.
42:10Yes.
42:11We have a caller.
42:11Caller, good evening.
42:13Hello, good evening.
42:15Hi, good evening to you, sir.
42:16Good evening, Corporal.
42:18Blessings to you, sir.
42:19Mmm hmm.
42:20When you sector the cattle, that is about 50 to 60 years, they roam from the cremation
42:30site.
42:31Close to the ifus..
42:32Straight applies to the thing up.
42:34Now the day, the day you see somebody bust one and kill one, somebody will jump here
42:40and say you're killed.
42:41My cattle compensates.
42:42Trust me.
43:02okay yes thank you so much that is that is really ridiculous no one the colors are right who are
43:09calling with regards to that the owners know the CTPS needs to intervene here and all them
43:15are comfortable that's right you can't have your animal just roaming aimlessly just like that yes
43:21and there must be caution and that's what is this video is so significant and what we are discussing
43:26is reminding people you need to secure your cattle need to have them somewhere safe a road by definition
43:34is where cars and vehicle move in terms of cattle if it is your supervising your cattle then it's
43:41different current yeah but it was going back wherever it came from we have another call call
43:48a good evening the cattle realize I have to go back home before I get dark hello good evening

44:55we went back the other day to find out about the cow because the cow was nowhere around they're glad
