06:16We presented them a sense of empowerment, a sense of saying, if mommy failed, daddy failed, I would not be
06:21a failure.
06:22A sense of, even though you come from a toxic environment, you can still, if you're up high, and feel
06:27a sense of awe.
06:28You can exercise the power of choice.
06:30But more than that, it shows that the police is not there looking to lock you up, but we are
06:35there to engage and empower.
06:37So I must commend the team.
06:40And the session was absolutely beautiful.
06:41I couldn't stay for the evening session.
06:44But you need to be here.
06:44Yeah, you know, I was well-received.
06:47Yes.
06:48You know, the young people, most of the young people didn't know me, and I was very respectful.
06:53I think that we need to do our follow-up now.
06:55You know, one lecture is good, three of the script is good, but we need to engage them.
06:59More.
07:00Yes.
07:00More interaction.
07:01Yes, and this is where the resilience would come in with Mr. Ali, but I really want to commend the
07:05TTPS.
07:07Ms. Archie, take a salute.
07:08Absolutely an excellent.
07:09And the communications department, top of the line.
07:12I want to commend them personally.
07:13Now, something that happened today that I think many persons need to be aware of, that we bring in the
07:17information to you, where the SOB, which is now the Act, that is the Special Operations Act, that was proclaimed
07:25today by the President.
07:26And literally, we're starting from today.
07:29Well, I think it's a step in a good direction.
07:33We need to test it.
07:34We need to give it some time to see how things unfold.
07:37One thing about this country that is a democratic country, our judiciary system is functioning, and therefore we can go
07:44to the judiciary system if we feel.
07:46And the police service need to always be transparent.
07:50The public is looking on.
07:51They're looking to see if we are crossing our T's and that in our eye.
07:55And it is good.
07:56It is good for the community to police the police.
07:59Yes.
07:59And because they are the ones who will say, no, no, I'm impressed.
08:02Because everybody has their concerns.
08:04Everyone.
08:05And some of the concerns are legitimate.
08:07Yes.
08:08However, in my humble opinion, I think, allow it.
08:11Let's look.
08:12Let's see what's happening.
08:13And if it works, good.
08:15Yes.
08:15And if it needs tweeting, I need a deal adjustment, so be it.
08:18So I personally want to commend the players.
08:21I think that the police service understands that we need a safe people within the community.
08:28And it's absolutely paramount that we do it in quick time.
08:32No time to procrastinate.
08:33And I believe it will be throughout the country.
08:35It's not just going to be in special zones, as people believe, because crime migrates.
08:40So it can't just be focused in one area alone.
08:43So we will see how things go, as you say.
08:45And we will see more of the act and how it unfolds.
08:48And we will educate the public as we proceed.
08:50Because that is important for us to understand also our rights.
08:54And I tell you, Mr. Ali here as well, who could guide us tomorrow with more of that and how
08:59it works for everyone.
09:01And as you know, in this country, we have a battery of lawyers.
09:04We do.
09:05We don't run short of lawyers.
09:07So there are lawyers looking on and only waiting for police to tell you.
09:10But I say that we have the law-abiding citizen support.
09:14Those who are skeptical, I think the media will do justice in terms of continuing to educate the people.
09:20Yeah.
09:20Now, again, the interaction that we continue to see, Corporal, when it comes to the TTPS and members of the
09:26public and how hostile it could get at times.
09:30And we have to also be mindful that when we may be right, that doesn't mean you could behave a
09:38certain way.
09:38And even when you're wrong, you cannot be right at the same time.
09:43That's right.
09:43You know what he's saying?
09:44Yes.
09:44You're wrong, but you want to be right.
09:46You're wrong and strong.
09:46We always say you could be sincerely.
09:48You could be sincerely right.
09:50But you're still, because of your behavior, you did it wrong.
09:52Yeah.
09:53So even if you're right, you don't need to be disrespectful.
09:55And we say this because we saw interaction that took place with a maxi-taxi driver and an officer.
10:02So you'll take a look at what transpired here.
10:29So, Corporal Shabadi, with regards to that, I mean, we all laughed when we saw it.
10:33For some people, others didn't laugh at all because it was disrespectful in the way in which the gentleman was
10:40behaving
10:41because the officer wasn't using any obscene language.
10:43He was explaining what he did was wrong.
10:45But your experience.
10:47Listen to me.
10:48I want to use this platform to applaud the officer.
10:51Yes.
10:51I prefer the public in error than my police colleague.
10:55And I really want the committee officer who conducted himself.
10:58He explained the offenses.
11:00That's what you want.
11:01You call me Don't.
11:02You call me what you want.
11:03Because we learn that in the barracks.
11:04We learn when people shout at you and bark at you, you maintain the posture.
11:08Come duck yourself as an officer.
11:10And I want to personally comment.
11:11The public outside, they can make whatever comment.
11:14They are intelligent, bright officers.
11:16And we understand that when we take umbrage to the officer, because there are people in the maxi-taxi,
11:22people in his ear, the ego, that's the better of them sometimes.
11:25So on this stance, I don't recognize my colleague, but my brother, congratulations.
11:31Take a bow.
11:32Well done.
11:33I love your posture.
11:34I love you.
11:35Explain your offense.
11:37And, you know, other officers, take note, please.
11:39Yes.
11:39I mean, it's not an easy job at all, right?
11:41It's not easy.
11:41Now, there was a video that we saw taking place around the savannah.
11:46Well, this was earlier this morning, corporal, and we're seeing, I don't know if it's men
11:51and women, but we're seeing persons on horses, and that is the president's vehicle, not so?
11:57Yes.
11:58The coat of arms?
11:58Yes.
11:59Right.
11:59I'm not saying.
12:00So, what is this exactly?
12:03Do you know?
12:04What is your reason for this?
12:06Because I must, must, my husband at this time, forgive me, but I do have a clue of what the
12:14ceremonial march is about.
12:17I really want to apologize.
12:19I don't want to go commenting.
12:19Yes.
12:20Because it looks like an escort, but we're not sure the reason for it.
12:23Yes.
12:24Probably.
12:24And I don't think that the media would have been left out.
12:28The media would have been informed that, you know, that this is taking place.
12:32And then, of course, the, the, the, um, the vehicle has to be the president's own, because
12:38the coat of arms, it's on the vehicle.
12:40Yes.
12:41I must apologize.
12:42And I'm really, really, if anybody want to help me, yes, on a text fastener, please.
12:46I know members of the, your listenership is quite informed.
12:50I know we will get some information with regards to that.
12:53Yeah.
12:53Now, um, corporal, we are seeing, I know it is really disappointing where you are seeing young
13:00persons behaving in a certain way, right?
13:03So, with seeing the young persons and flip the script and interacting with them, what
13:08are their, what are their takes on what is happening, the initiative that's happening
13:13in the schools?
13:14Well, first of all.
13:15Sidebar conversation.
13:16Yes.
13:16I think, Mrs. Aswans, there are decent, law-abiding students.
13:23Students who have their head on, their focus.
13:26Yes.
13:26Excellent, they are model students.
13:28Then you have those who are, you know, they need help.
13:31And then you have those who really don't need to be in the school.
13:34They need to be somewhere else.
13:35Okay.
13:36And therefore, you have to separate them respectfully.
13:38That's why we have the suspension program.
13:40What flip the script do gives them the appetite to don't give up.
13:45Let them know that even though your paragraph seeks to describe you in a particular way, or you
13:51are we making poor choices, chapter two can start with, I've made a turn around.
13:56So then, how are you all now engaging the parents with flip the script?
14:00Because I am just thinking here where, as you said, some students may not be meant to
14:07be in that school environment.
14:09That's right.
14:09I'm not saying to put them, you know, behind bars.
14:11I don't mean like that.
14:12Right.
14:12Or they could be placed in a vocational skills program.
14:16That's right.
14:16That they could engage and use a skill set and benefit through that form of education.
14:22How could we let the parents know that this should be the direction for their child without
14:27offending the parents or making them feel like the child is less than?
14:31Beautiful question.
14:32Go to the early class.
14:33I'd like you're in charge of some school.
14:34We've got to be very careful.
14:36No, no.
14:37I think we need to engage the parent in terms of the teacher and other persons who are
14:42engaging.
14:42Look at the child marks.
14:43Yes.
14:43Look how often the child has been suspended.
14:47This school is not doing justice.
14:50The child is excellent in terms of trade because we would have acquired that information.
14:54Yeah.
14:55And therefore, we would have made recommendations like that.
14:57So what white up, MIC, as you indicated, a vocational school, which is tailored for them
15:02slower.
15:03And the parents will have to buy into that.
15:06Some parents do.
15:07Yes.
15:07Some parents take their time because they feel the child must be a doctor, must be a lawyer,
15:11or the child playing up, you know, uncle and two cousins, and, you know, he need a good
15:16cocktail and all the above.
15:17Yes, yes, yes.
15:17But we try to convince parents that when you see children behaving a particular way, they're
15:23sending signals.
15:24Yes.
15:24So you have non-verbals and verbals.
15:27And we give them cases, cases that we know about, where children come to the suspension
15:33program.
15:34Children were on several suspensions.
15:36You know, in the principal office, that we took them and we replaced them and we root
15:41them in a school and they are doing well now.
15:44Yes.
15:44So testimony sometimes helps.
15:46Sometimes, you know, you develop a case file.
15:48Yes.
15:48And show that it is absolutely imperative that you, as we talk about the SOE, let's give
15:54it a try.
15:55There's nothing to lose.
15:56And most of the time, I've lost count, most of the time, children do well in the vocational
16:02schools.
16:03Of course.
16:03I mean, it is where you tap into their skill set.
16:07Yes.
16:07And that is a form of education.
16:09Now, remember, we are stuck in a traditional way of learning in Trinidad and Tobago, which
16:15is you need to go to school, yes, in the traditional form of getting your passes, your English, your
16:22math, and maybe business or science.
16:24Yes.
16:24And then from there, you move into the tertiary level and that is a certification.
16:28Now, it moves and then it gets, like they say, long-term government work.
16:32Mm-hmm.
16:32Or you fall into the bracket.
16:34As you said, we have more than enough lawyers because they're going to law, because that is
16:39the career of choice, prestigious, prestigious or medicine, right?
16:44So, right.
16:46So, but there is life outside of that for other people.
16:50And because of us pumping that so much into our children, they feel if they don't get
16:55in these careers, they're less than.
16:57Yes.
16:58You know, and we are seeing more and more where entrepreneurs and whatever field they go into
17:02now, corporal, that they're making more than some of the lawyers and doctors.
17:05They're doing justice.
17:06Yeah, I'm not saying because we need lawyers and we need doctors.
17:09Let me make that very clear.
17:10So, before anybody come and say, well, we can't do it.
17:13Yeah, lawyers, we don't question your lawyers.
17:14Yeah, no, no, no, no.
17:15We need you.
17:16We need you.
17:16We definitely need you.
17:17But the same way that we may need the teachers.
17:19Beautiful.
17:19The same way we need strong entrepreneurs to keep the economy, you know, flowing,
17:24rotating.
17:25That's right.
17:25And if we don't have strong entrepreneurs who are able to do things like electrical.
17:31Yes, small plant repairs.
17:32Masonry.
17:33Masonry.
17:33We have persons dealing with regards to construction.
17:36They're coming construction.
17:37So, all these things that are available.
17:40And then when, let's even go corporal, when we speak of law, right?
17:46Everything is criminal law and we are not expanding the minds of our young people.
17:51Yes, commercial laws.
17:51Where there are different types of laws that you study as a lawyer.
17:54That's right.
17:55Right?
17:55So, there's sports law.
17:57You can get into corporate law.
18:00Law, that's right.
18:01Right?
18:02There are so many.
18:03Yes.
18:03Even in the medical field.
18:05Exactly.
18:06You specialize.
18:06That's right.
18:07You're just a general practitioner.
18:08But then you specialize with regards to maybe with the heart, maybe with the lungs.
18:13You know, different parts.
18:14Teachers, everybody malfunction from the time.
18:16Even the goodly doctors.
18:18Yes.
18:18And sometimes you will have to go and seek redress because this doctor, not getting act together.
18:24You need to make an example.
18:25Yes.
18:25So, I agree with you.
18:27And this program, this program will seek to teach and educate and empower parents that your child may very well
18:35be the best masonry.
18:37Yeah.
18:38The best.
18:38But look, look a career that many parents will cringe when they hear it.
18:42Imagine now the career of an influencer.
18:47Persons right here in Trinidad and Tobago.
18:50Who are, they are making, I don't even want to call you figures.
18:54But they have now created a lifestyle, opening businesses.
18:58That's a career that they are, they even have it in schools that you have to study, social media.
19:04Who came on here at Retrospeed?
19:06Humming speed.
19:09Millions of them.
19:09Yes.
19:10He's a millionaire.
19:11So, if young.
19:13I just, thank you.
19:14Yes.
19:14He's a millionaire.
19:16And our children watching on and saying, that is the career I want.
19:20That is what I want to do.
19:22And we, because in the Caribbean, especially in Trinidad and Tobago, remember, we're still stuck in the mold of no
19:29traditional work.
19:30And this is a way for you to have a good life.
19:33Unfortunately, we don't break it up.
19:34That's not the reality.
19:35That's not the reality of how things are.
19:37When we were taught, sorry to say, you get all your passes.
19:40Yes.
19:41And when you get all your passes, you'll have a house, a car, no issues.
19:45And whoo-hoo.
19:46Yes, learn everything.
19:47Whoo-hoo-hoo.
19:48Wishful thinking.
19:50Fairy tale.
19:51Right now, we need to take a look at what's making today's headlines.
19:56So we'll see you next time.
20:24Transcription by CastingWords

23:39The undisputed number one program in Trinidad and Tobago delivering the hard-hitting investigations you rely on.
23:45The TV6 News.
23:47Revealing facts.
23:48Provoking opinions.
24:06And we are back and filling in for ASP Russell.
24:09We have Corporal Shabity here with us.
24:12No stranger to the show and always willing to guide us accordingly.
24:15Now, we have some TTPS media releases that we will discuss right now.
24:19Now, the TTPS continues to work hard, Corporal.
24:22So, four arrested for cannabis possession near school in Gasparilo.
24:26Now, the Southern Division officers arrested four men and seized various quantities of cannabis during an operation conducted in the
24:34Gasparilo district on Monday, the 5th, October 2026.
24:39Approximately 11.50 a.m. on Monday, the 5th, October 2026, a team of officers from the Southern Division Task
24:46Force was on mobile patrol in the vicinity of School Street, Gasparilo, near a primary school where they had cause
24:53to search four men.
24:55During the searches, the officers found quantities of cannabis in the possession of each man.
25:01A 24-year-old man was found in possession of 14 grams of cannabis, while a 26-year-old man
25:08of Parforce Road in Bonventure was also found in possession of 14 grams of cannabis.
25:15The officers also searched a 37-year-old of Perry Wing Street, Gasparilo and found nine grams of cannabis.
25:23A 27-year-old man of Caratel Road, Gasparilo, was found in possession of 16 grams of cannabis.
25:31The four men were arrested for possession of marijuana for the possession of trafficking, having been found in possession of
25:39the dangerous drug within 500 meters of a school.
25:43The investigations are ongoing.
25:46Corporal, you hear the ages?
25:47Yes, it tells you that.
25:4920s. Crazy.
25:50And if you really, really do your inquiries, you'll see that young people are also involved.
25:55At 14, 15 years, they'll be amazed, you know, the ages involved.
25:59And what is good about this arrest is that they are protecting the school.
26:03Yes.
26:04They're saying that within a certain range, it was removed from possession to trafficking, and therefore the safety of the
26:10children and school.
26:12We don't want anything close, right, within a certain meter of the school.
26:16And the law is absolutely crowned that, that it is imperative that, okay, we have already allowed you, we have
26:22decriminalized it.
26:23Stay far away from places where children congregate, school come from.
26:28So they need to be an example.
26:30And that should be read to not only the persons who would have been, but also to those who have
26:37intentions,
26:38that if you are found within a sitting, no longer position, it's trafficking.
26:44Like what we understand, the severity of it.
26:46Also, in a media release from the TTPS man held after cell phone theft.
26:51Now listen to this.
26:53Corporal and Andy Nation.
26:55A Baratara man was arrested on Sunday night after he was found with a cell phone that had been allegedly
27:00stolen more months before.
27:02Officers were on patrol during the Baratara district on October 4, 2026, between 8 p.m. and 11 p.m.,
27:10as part of Operation Resolute Shield.
27:13During the operation, they received information of a man screaming near 6th Avenue, Baratara.
27:19The officers proceeded to the location where they were flagged down by a man who reported that he had been
27:24strangled and robbed of his iPhone 15 Pro cell phone.
27:29He told officers he was tracking the phone and went with them to 11th Street and 3rd Avenue, Baratara, where
27:37he pointed out the suspect.
27:39Police identified themselves and informed the suspect of the nature of the report made against him.
27:45Officers searched the man and found the stolen cell phone on his person.
27:49The 23-year-old suspect was subsequently arrested and investigations are ongoing.
27:56Twenties again.
27:57Yeah.
27:58Phones seem to be no longer an appetite, but it seems to be an addiction now.
28:04Yeah.
28:05And going more than that, you won't believe that when you...
28:09Okay, take for instance, I sell your phone, Ms. Husband.
28:12You are an actual receipt.
28:14Yes, yeah.
28:15So that if police come...
28:16You could show that...
28:17And by error, yes, you purchase, you sell...
28:19A stolen phone, yes.
28:20And a lot of people don't understand that.
28:22They say, okay, good phone, nice phone, you know, and the phone hot.
28:25Yes.
28:26And then, and people are, I don't think they're thinking, there are all different kind of devices now to trace
28:30your phone.
28:31Especially an iPhone.
28:32Please.
28:33You can't do much with the iPhone, to be honest.
28:36Yes.
28:37But it's quite to be so, that people need to make an example because...
28:4123, charge for theft.
28:43Mm-hmm.
28:44You're in the record.
28:46That's it.
28:47Yes.
28:48You're changing your life for no reason.
28:49That damaging you.
28:50Yeah.
28:50You have to go and ask for all different kind of pardon and ask for to be expunged from your
28:55file.
28:55Yes, yes.
28:56Because it's already recorded and sometimes doors will open for you after that.
29:00It does, it does, it does.
29:02And then, unfortunately, to haunt you.
29:04Yes.
29:05Very unfortunate.
29:06We speak of young people.
29:07We see the 20s and what is happening with young people stealing, robbing individuals, but they're also being careless.
29:13Because the top cops spoke about young persons using the roadways to do these stupid trends that's happening.
29:20But in this case, they'd use a powerful machine, which is a vehicle, to block the road.
29:25And this was recorded by residents in the Four Roads area.
29:30And these are young adults.
29:31And you will see how stupid, this in this case, your act is stupid.
29:35But take a look at this.
30:06Corporal, first of all,
30:11I mentioned on the show that every parent should have a name on a leather belt.
30:20Serious.
30:21No, young adult or not, I don't care.
30:23Because my child can't be doing that.
30:26That is crazy.
30:27We are young adults, yes.
30:28Yes.
30:30Stupid.
30:30They care less.
30:31Stupid, backward, ignorant.
30:33My gosh.
30:33No leadership.
30:34There's nobody here to say people all the matter what all the hell.
30:37Nobody with any group can say, fellas, all the matter what.
30:39Come, let me take this somewhere.
30:40We can enjoy ourselves somewhere safer.
30:43You know, when you don't have leadership, when nobody does stuff up.
30:47Yes.
30:48And we are the front on that.
30:49All of this for likes, you know.
30:50Yeah.
30:51That stupid behavior is for likes.
30:53Somebody working for, hey, you see, we get 1.2 million young people feeling like there's an emptiness now that
30:59they want to be liked.
31:00You know, and even you heard one of the gentlemen said.
31:03You like the road?
31:04Yeah.
31:05Look how we blocked the road.
31:06Yes.
31:07Then realizing that there's a serious offense.
31:10Police come and police make them an example.
31:13They say police.
31:14Yeah.
31:14But what is wrong with police?
31:15People can enjoy their stuff again.
31:17You love the road?
31:18In the middle of it.
31:19And you know persons, I'm sure the reason why they brought this, the residents, brought this city attention to the
31:26officers is because they can't tell them anything.
31:28They might be attacked.
31:30But listen to me.
31:30That was, I want to commend the residents of four roads.
31:35You see something, say something.
31:37If you have to use your phone, do it because you're saving them, you know.
31:40Yeah.
31:41You are saving them from themselves because that kind of reckless behavior, it appears like everybody under the influence of
31:46alcohol and they feel, you know, they must take it to the next level.
31:50You know, raise the bar.
31:51Well, I can tell our letters, raise the bar.
31:54Ah, it's coming because they say 21, eh?
31:59Yes.
31:59And over.
32:00Oh, yes.
32:00So if we have any young adults there that were participating in that and you were indulging in alcohol, it
32:07has not passed yet.
32:08But they said by next year.
32:09So you have to brace yourself.
32:11That's why we're giving you time.
32:12We're giving you time to understand that the earlier you started drinking alcohol consumption, you have to save young people
32:20from themselves.
32:21So you believe in increasing the age to 21 for young adults in the country?
32:29I'm saying that.
32:30From what you see?
32:31Yes.
32:31I'm saying that on the background that they also need to be educated.
32:35Yeah.
32:35They also need to be educated.
32:36What's going on with marijuana?
32:37What's going on with alcohol?
32:39Gambling could never be a good device.
32:41Anybody married a gambler, they're in problems.
32:43Oh, you'll lose everything.
32:44And when you're noting young people very early to be alcoholics and smoking and all that, what are you really
32:50noting?
32:51You know, let the brain develop.
32:53Take time.
32:53Suspend.
32:54You know, focus on your education.
32:56Focus on your academics.
32:58Focus on being a good citizen.
33:00I think that, but it must be in support of an educational drive, a strong drive.
33:05So you want people to appreciate or now understand.
33:07Well, this is going to be a bit difficult, I'm being honest, because the horse has already left and running
33:15wild.
33:16And the norm, the societal norm, and the way in which we drink is embedded in many of us.
33:20And we even, some of us started drinking with our parents at home, just saying.
33:25Parents are complex, yes.
33:26Yes.
33:27So we will take that break when we come back.
33:29We will take your calls and more.
33:31As a teacher teaching how much he is, I never see if I have a subject called bullying on a
33:38timetable yet.
33:39But all them children want to beat up other children instead of beating their book.
33:46And to me, that is big, big failure.
33:49I promise to do my part to stop the bullying in the people and them school.
33:55But you see parents, you see uncles, you see grannies, you see aunties, you see nenens, all of them.
34:02And all of you.
34:03All you have to help out too.
34:05All you have to teach them the right way, boy.
34:08They have to choose peace, not physical and verbal violence.
34:14Teach them to be a body, not a bully.

37:09Real people.
37:10Real change.
37:19Real change.
37:33And we are back.
37:34Can you remember, you can give us a call at 623-1711 extension 1996 or 1997 or Corporal Shabody.
37:42We have to dive into some fender benders, some RTs that we saw that took place throughout the country.
37:48And again, we continue to ask people to please, oh gosh boy, take your time.
37:54The inconvenience.
37:56I mean, the inconvenience is one thing, but the injury, person's lives can be taken when we don't pay attention
38:06and we have to drive for everybody here.
38:09This is a serious accident.
38:11And the maxi-taxi going on, huh?
38:13Yes.
38:14So the culprit behind the incident is cut-free.
38:18That's cut-free.
38:19Now, Corporal, watching this video here, the person in the car was supposed to stop.
38:24That's right.
38:25Because the van has the right-of-way.
38:28That's right.
38:29Yeah, so he's squeezing.
38:31Yes.
38:32And unfortunately, that is where the whole...
38:34The maxi-taxi.
38:35Yes.
38:35Yes.
38:35Yeah.
38:36So that the gentleman who made contact with the county...
38:39And look at that, on the next side.
38:40Side, yeah.
38:41It's collided.
38:42It's that you committed a second offense.
38:45Yeah, that's four cars because the car that caused was trying to squeeze through that we've seen in the silver
38:51vehicle.
38:52Yes.
38:52Right?
38:52And then the maxi-taxi hitting the silver vehicle, then crashing into the white car that is parked.
38:58And then the silver vehicle crashing into the oncoming car there.
39:02Yes.
39:02So that's four.
39:03That's four.
39:04And you see, if you were driving at a particular speed, you could have, you know, drive and bring the
39:10vehicle to a halt.
39:11But it tells you that people are not thinking.
39:15They're either on the phone, their mind very far.
39:18They're not thinking.
39:19They're not to manoeuvre.
39:20They don't know, okay, I have to give the vandy right away.
39:23Let me pause.
39:24Allow.
39:24And sometimes people are just courteous, rude to her.
39:27Yes.
39:28They don't want to be, they vexed sometimes.
39:30You ain't wrong, you know?
39:32And they're more angry than you.
39:33And it's a reflection of the psyche of the people and the drivers we have on the road now.
39:38We're very careful.
39:39I have to come to ten.
39:40Yeah.
39:40Because I have a little rude read.
39:41Yes, unfortunately.
39:42We have a caller.
39:44On all call.
39:44Good evening.
39:47Hello.
39:49Yes, hello.
39:49Hi.
39:50Good evening to you.
39:52Yeah, good evening.
39:53I want to go on a little off topic there.
39:56I called early on in the year.
39:58I spoke to Mr. Marlon and I had an inspector or something.
40:02I had a problem I've been having with one of the banks.
40:05I know you can't call the name and whatnot.
40:07Yeah, please don't.
40:09Yeah.
40:09I lost the sum of about 1,500 U.S. from the bank, seven years in a row.
40:15And when I went into the bank now, they're saying the three-year account wasn't active and whatnot.
40:21So the money went back to Central Bank.
40:23Right.
40:24I have been trying for a month for the power.
40:26The whole of this year, actually, they tried to get back the money.
40:29And I can't seem to be making any headway with it.
40:33I don't know what to do again.
40:35Central.
40:36So what Central Bank told you?
40:39I gave it away and now I can't get back my money.
40:41What Central Bank?
40:43What Central Bank told you, sir?
40:46Pardon?
40:48Yes, what did they say to you?
40:51They said that the CDI account wasn't active.
40:53They said that it was something else, but it was a saving.
40:58Well, Central Bank is state-owned, so you need to have an audience with the person in charge, the Minister
41:05of Finance.
41:06You take it to the next level, write a report, provide a copy, and do a follow-up.
41:10And there's a section within Central Bank, too, that will seek to offer some form of redress.
41:17And you have to find who is the person in charge.
41:19I don't think you should stop there for somebody telling you.
41:22Find out who is higher, and who you can go to, and also have a letter on hand and chronicle
41:29what took place.
41:30Because I do first thing you will actually do to submit a report.
41:32Time, date, who you spoke to, who referred you, who is the person, what posts.
41:39It's important that you have that on hand.
41:40So that when they ask for a report, it will be done, and it will be done in a sense
41:46to explain and identify exactly some of the challenges you have.
41:49$1,500 U.S. is not $10.
41:51Yes, it's not.
41:52Definitely not.
41:53And you know how hard U.S. is to come by.
41:55All right, we have another article that we'll take a look at at this time.
41:58And again, we continue to ask persons to please take your time.
42:06We're seeing a lot of accidents like this, corporal, a lot.
42:09You know, persons rushing.
42:11And as I said, sometimes you don't want to give the blight, but when you don't give the blight, you
42:17end up like this.
42:18That's right.
42:18You don't give way.
42:20You don't give way.
42:20You don't be courteous.
42:21Yes.
42:21You know, you feel that.
42:22Yeah, this is why I wronged about what I understand.
42:25Driving up is an offense.
42:26So, speeding up is an offense.
42:27Yes.
42:28You know, the person coming and you speed up, that is an offense on any motor vehicle or traffic act.
42:33Yeah.
42:33You know, people, they need to be courteous.
42:35That all these things will be granted if you give way.
42:38You know, where you're speeding going and, you know, and the attitude is unbecoming and we really need.
42:45At least they look calm there.
42:47Yeah.
42:47You know, because getting in an accident is not a nice thing.
42:50Well, you know, you're speeding going and then when you're in an accident, you still have to stop.
42:54You still have to stop.
42:54But they could have just slowed down to avoid things from happening because anything could happen.
42:59Let good sense prevail on the road.
43:01Thank you very much.
43:02Yes.
43:02Most of it is good to see is one of the, an important characteristics of the roadway.
43:07Please.
43:07Yeah.
43:08We have another caller.
43:09Caller.
43:09Good evening.
43:11Good evening.
43:12Good evening.
43:13I am calling to inquire.
43:15I just saw some little, some youths.
43:18Yes.
43:18It's two years on the roadway down the place.
43:22And I'm just wondering, what action was taking against them today?
43:25Because I think I know you said that someone saw something and said something.
43:30Yes.
43:30Was the action taking against them?
43:31They did make, well, the officers know what is taking place.
43:35So they are taking action now.
43:37So we don't know what is happening as we speak.
43:39Yeah, there is an ongoing inquiry in the matter.
43:41It's happened yesterday.
43:42And they're using the video to obtain more information to, you know, to call in the persons and let things
43:49unfold.
43:50Yeah.
43:50But a report definitely was made to the relevant authorities to deal with that matter, which was at the Four
43:56Roads Police Station.
43:58Madness.
43:59Madness.
43:59That is crazy.
44:00We could be here better than that man.
44:01I agree with that.
44:02We need to take that break.
44:03We'll be back.
44:04Mommy, have one girl, trouble?
44:07I'm telling you, you remember your bigger one that you didn't send you a few years ago?
44:12Cohen.
44:13Mommy, I don't know what to say again, you know.
44:16When Kevin was in Form 1, he was nice to bad potential like that, Mommy.
44:22He reached Form 2.
44:23He started a gamble.
44:25He started a cuss.
44:27He taxed people, cheering.
44:29Getting into us at a wrong crowd, Mommy.
44:32Kevin, you feel me?
44:34I know you're selling marijuana at the school compound.
44:37What trouble is that?
44:38You want to end up in Aruka, in Golden Grove?
44:41You go ahead.
44:42Go ahead.
44:43But that would not be your story, sir.
44:45That is not your story.
44:47No matter how much detention and how much community service and thing you're getting, you have to change.
44:54It's time for Mr. Kevin to flip the script.

48:41Yes, who's Whitney?
48:43Hi, good evening to you, sir.
48:44My name is Dr. Shafalima.
48:47The Sinsa.
48:48The Sinsa.
48:49The Sinsa.
48:58The Sinsa.
49:17The Sinsa.
49:20The Sinsa.
49:22The Sinsa.
49:40same to you no i could tell it i could tell the caller that that has been happening in other
49:45divisions as well western division port of spain division southwestern division you know um he has
49:51he's a good samaritan he would call in and say i want to come in your offices and we want
49:55to
49:56appeal to the quarters of the quality when you see good things and the police doing and i for myself
50:02have seen it and no loitering yeah no loitering yeah yeah school over making way home even before
50:08going to school sometimes they they want to hang out early in the morning satan fine works for
50:13the idol and thank you very much and we don't want them we don't want them idle at all because
50:18i remember even in school when um we had some friends but the nuns is a rule they were different
50:25when the covers christie no provenance okay yeah and sister philip oh when she gets a report if it's
50:33from the belmont police station or parents seeing children in uniform still by the taxi stand she is
50:41most present with some of the other nuns and let's just say yes they will get you in a taxi
50:45to school
50:46yes i know that happened too with sister patronela and that woman lord she don't she didn't play at
50:52all you are in school uniform you're representing the school at all times you conduct yourself and
50:56you need to tell you or not you are representing the school and therefore you must carry yourself a
51:01particular example officer in uniform you're in uniform there's a particular where you carry yourself in
51:05plain clothes you know it could be a little bit in but you still have to uphold yes the code
51:09of ethics
51:10when it comes to an officer we have another call caller good evening hi good evening good evening
51:19thank you have a small contribution i was in the around the area and recently the first no entry
51:24find by gandhi school the primary school now between two and five there's no entry on your way back down
51:31but at 4 30 like the old times the people will keep going through that no entry now i know
51:38you cannot
51:38break the law i i wouldn't take a chance the police stop me what about the police why you see
51:43them
51:43people he can't catch everybody but he might catch me but i'm wondering if there's an unwritten rule
51:49that he could come through that no entry sign at 4 30 because the school is closed just and it's
51:54not fair
51:55because i think it's wrong but people keep doing it on a morning when the police man is there nobody's
52:00there break that noise mom before you before you go before before you go what is on this sign what
52:07does
52:07this sign say no entry and it has this time right between eight to nine monday to friday except for
52:14the holidays and stuff like that and on the evening no entry between two to five but i know when
52:20school is
52:21old but i think it's okay to go to that no entry who says who says that i think we
52:26need to look into
52:27that because that could cause accidents because when i make my proper drive and coming out we are
52:32no people supposed to be coming yes vehicles coming to the new entry the no entry sorry next thing the
52:37box may i mash up my car look at accidents all over the place people not paying attention
52:43if no one of the law is no excuse at all have a good evening same to you mom corporal
52:47you know
52:47yes she makes an excellent point if police are not manning that particular lawlessness but there
52:53can't be that i and that's why i asked day when school is over you could drive but the signs
52:58in
52:58and she's right so she's following these signs and then you're breaking the law when school is out
53:04and accident happens you're still wrong because the sign does not give that information who is they
53:08that's right you can't just make it up as you go along the sign said specifically the times
53:14the dates and they cannot go through that and she's following not to suit so she's driving
53:19accordingly and we need a commander but as all all good things mean equal there are people who are
53:24lawless yes and people would not follow the sign and people love shortcut and you know until police
53:29catch them and make them example this is the last time they'll be breaking a sign you think so well
53:33um
53:34is when they find money when they start to get any 10 000 and 50 000 you have another call
53:38caller
