02:41Good evening, Trinidad and Tobago, our international audience, and of course our brothers and sisters in Grenada.
02:47This is Beyond the Tape.
02:49I'm your host with me husband.
02:50Now, we have already entered the third week in August.
02:54So that means we are getting ready to wrap up the vacation, the August, the July-August vacation,
02:58and it's back to school.
03:00I know most of the children dreading hearing that, but that is the reality, including the parents,
03:04because they're not excited to see the traffic and, of course, fighting to get these children up to go back
03:09to school.
03:10But nonetheless, we're getting prepared for that.
03:12I hope those of you had an enjoyable weekend, a safe weekend.
03:15And as you know, we are now entering a brand new week, a brand new day.
03:19It is Monday.
03:20It was an interesting Monday at that because we got some sun, bright blue skies.
03:25And then what we assumed would have happened over the weekend, Friday into the weekend,
03:29we actually received the rainfalls today, and it seems like it was only in the Port of Spain area.
03:35Because when I asked individuals, how is the weather looking on your side?
03:39Southside, it seemed like it had some nice sun.
03:41It was calm.
03:42No set of heavy rainfall.
03:43This is in the Diggle Martin area here.
03:45What about in the east side of Trinidad?
03:48Certain parts of east, we did not see any major rains,
03:51but this happened more in the Port of Spain heading into the west in Trinidad and Tobago.
03:56Not sure 100% what took place in Tobago, but what can I tell you is that the rain was
04:01falling,
04:02bucket a drop in the Port of Spain area.
04:06We will discuss more of what took place over the weekend at that as we progress throughout the show.
04:10But as today being Monday, we have a team member, and not just a team member,
04:15but team members, so it's a part of making sure that we bring closure to our loved ones
04:20when it comes to safety and making sure persons reach home to their loved ones in one piece.
04:25The gentleman who is always here to guide us on a Monday,
04:27we have Captain El Capitan Rambo out here with us.
04:30Good evening to you, Sue.
04:31Good evening, Whitney, and a pleasant good evening to our viewers on Beyond the TV and TV6.
04:35Yes, you know, Port of Spain and environs, the west got a drench in this evening.
04:41But Whitney is typical of the weather at this time of the year.
04:46You have moisture in the air, and there is a cloud build-up from all over east Trinidad,
04:52all over the country.
04:53Once you have the correct wind, it will blow it to the west,
04:56and there will be a build-up, and unfortunately, you know, the west got it today.
05:04But earlier in the week, Coover, Claxton Bay got it.
05:07So it's typical weather tomorrow, you know, Charlieville, Chaguanas might get it,
05:12or even Cedrus.
05:13But it's typical weather for this time of the year.
05:17But I know you opened with the school vacation and getting back to school,
05:22but there is also something that is coming up, I believe, in the next couple of days
05:28when the results from C2nd keep would come out,
05:31and that will create anxious moments for students.
05:34Life-changing moments again.
05:35Life-changing moments.
05:37So, you know, I think typically the July-August vacation,
05:41we had good weather, and it was good to be outdoors.
05:44So hopefully your dreams come true, you get what you want,
05:48and you go on with your studies.
05:50Now, Captain, I know you still continue teaching in different degrees, right?
05:55But do you miss the classroom?
05:56Of course I miss the classroom all the time.
05:59They say once a teacher, forever a teacher.
06:02And even with my teammates, I'm always teaching.
06:06And I love to teach, I love to read still a lot.
06:10So, you know, it's an enjoyable profession that never ends.
06:15Oh, my gosh.
06:15And I know it never ends because, as you said, you continue teaching regardless,
06:19and you teach us.
06:21Yes, certainly.
06:22You teach me every Monday.
06:23We had a mission on this week, and it was for a gentleman by the name of Hakeem Joseph.
06:29I know his children's mother well, but if his mother called me, he's from St. Madeline.
06:37And I thought I wanted to bring up this case because we found him in Coover.
06:42Right?
06:43We found him in Coover, and we even asked him to speak to his mother on the phone.
06:47He promised he would talk to her later on.
06:50But you know why I brought this one to the four?
06:53Why is that?
06:56We as men, we have to really look at ourselves internally and make some adjustments
07:01because a lot of the problems in the countries stem from our behavior.
07:06You'd find now, Whitney, that a lot of fathers go missing.
07:12They're not taking calls from their children's mother.
07:15You know why?
07:15Why? Now is the time to get books and shoes and kids ready for school
07:21and adopt the children's mother.
07:24And I thought I would highlight this today, that it happens.
07:30It got me angry because, you know, your children need stuff to get to school.
07:35So accept your responsibility, do the rightful thing,
07:39take the mother's calls, and try and sort out the children to get back to school.
07:45And captioning is, why wait for a call?
07:48Exactly.
07:49You know that school is opening.
07:50You know that school is opening.
07:51You know what you have to get.
07:53You know you have to make preparations, get this stuff, and see about your children.
07:59And that's why I highlighted this case.
08:01It's a waste of our time.
08:03But imagine you're at your mom's home, and you just pick up yourself,
08:08and you go on for a long time, and you're not talking, you're not taking anybody's calls.
08:13You're docking everybody.
08:15It doesn't make sense.
08:17But just to remind fathers, you have a responsibility to your children.
08:23Get out there and work hard and provide for your children.
08:27And, you know, you mentioned that, and the sad reality is, especially for the new dads,
08:33and when I say new, those who have your child for the very first time,
08:38going through that experience, it will be scary.
08:40It will be one where you don't know how to deal with your emotions
08:44because there's a life coming into this world,
08:45and now you are responsible for this life.
08:48But just remember, you all are not even carrying it for nine months.
08:51Exactly.
08:52And the woman is the one who has to carry this child for nine months,
08:55make sure the child is somewhat healthy, as best as they can,
08:58while they carry this child.
08:59And the responsibility is yours, the same way as you say you're soaked.
09:05Yeah, exactly.
09:06So you have that responsibility.
09:08Yes.
09:08And it's happening a lot during this time of the year,
09:11and I really thought I'd bring it to the attention
09:14because you can imagine how many mothers not getting on to the fathers.
09:19And we don't want any deadbeat fathers, honestly.
09:23At all.
09:23And also, it's also the responsibility of the individuals too.
09:27Also, I would stress this, protect yourself.
09:29Exactly.
09:30You should protect yourself.
09:31Don't make a moment of sweetness make you feel like everything is going to be A-OK
09:35because things happen, and it's not just a baby,
09:37but also sexually transmitted diseases that we are seeing very prominent now
09:42that is circulating back into society.
09:44So protect yourself.
09:45Your right is to protect yourself as a woman.
09:48I'll speak on behalf of women.
09:49Men, I know it is one way they may think you're being promiscuous
09:53if you may have a contraceptive with you.
09:56But it's one way you have to protect yourself.
09:58You have to protect yourself by all means.
10:01And having a child is like a gift from God, and it's something sacred and sanctimonious.
10:08And the life that was brought into this world is partly your responsibility,
10:13and you have to take that seriously.
10:15So you mentioned the first mission.
10:16Let's go into the second one while we are doing it.
10:18Well, the second one was we attended a Peace Walk.
10:22I'm not sure if we have that here as well.
10:25What I liked about the Peace Walk is you had six murders in a short space of time in the
10:31Separia district.
10:32Here is ASP and Joel Forbes.
10:36And the community quickly came together, and they held a Peace Walk last Friday night.
10:43They invited us.
10:44It had a great turnout.
10:46What I liked about this Peace Walk was, one, it incorporated all the various community groups,
10:52including Separia del Tunes, secondly, ASP Forbes, Joel Forbes, and the police service.
11:00They were part of the planning committee.
11:02And the third thing is that we had a white court section of the community turning out to this Peace
11:09Walk.
11:10Children, young people, middle-aged people, and the elderly coming out to support.
11:18And as you know, Separia is a close-knit community.
11:22And they all came out to lend support to say, let's end this violence.
11:27You had all religious denominations represented.
11:34And they came out and they said, let's stop this.
11:36Because to have had six murders in the space of a couple weeks was too much for the community to
11:42bear.
11:43So I want to extend congratulations to Separia for hosting this Peace Walk, inviting us.
11:49I myself was asked to address the crowd, and these are the hard-working police officers in the Separia district
11:59together with ASP Forbes.
12:01But I myself and my address to those gathered was simply that, you know, sometimes, Whitney,
12:10we ourselves get fed up of attending vigils, holding candles, you know, seeing mothers holding their bellies and bawling.
12:20And sometimes, you know, we could also say we fed up search.
12:24And the alternative to that is better you invite us to our Peace Walk and we will come,
12:29I will support your community because the violence, the gun violence has to stop and people must understand that there
12:39is strength in the community.
12:42And once the community gets together and says, this is the standard of behavior we want for our community, there
12:50is nothing better than that.
12:51Yes, well said with that.
12:53Now, I know we have Jeromak, Gopal.
12:55Yes, all right, Jeromak. I thought I'd highlight this one because he was missing for four years.
13:02And his sister got in contact with me when she wanted us to help locate him and information came my
13:10way
13:11and I was able to share it with his sister.
13:14You could share where he was?
13:15No, because when the sister, I gave her the exact location of the house she went.
13:23And after they spoke, she told me, you know, do not disclose his location.
13:28He has to make peace with a lot of people.
13:31There has to be healing.
13:32And so he will stay where he is for the time being until they could make further arrangements.
13:38But after four years of not having, not seeing her brother or the family or relatives not seeing their loved
13:46one,
13:47they know for a fact that he is fine and that the sister was able to see him physically and
13:54speak with him.
13:55Yes, we're happy that that was saved.
13:57Now, off of the heels of the Peace Walk in Superior, we're seeing a disturbing video that we are going
14:04to show now
14:04that happened in the European area, which was very weird because we just last week were speaking of this amazing
14:11youth club in the area
14:12and seeing young people being outside and participating in events.
14:15And a person on a bicycle apparently, allegedly, went riding through the area and decided to do this.
14:24Take a look.
14:28So, Captain, you have members of the community, a gentleman on a bicycle riding through, people sitting.
14:36And then if you listen.
14:40Is he screaming?
14:42You're hearing gunshots and children screaming.
14:49But what is also heartbreaking for me is that there are children out there.
14:57There were two adults there.
14:59And no, I mean, I know you're seeking your life first.
15:02First, yes.
15:03But look at the ages.
15:04Nobody gets to the ages.
15:05The children and say, come inside.
15:07They went inside first and left them there to fend for themselves.
15:10That is what was really heartbreaking for me.
15:13Yes.
15:14Look how, and it's getting younger.
15:15Yes.
15:16It's getting younger.
15:18And when I saw this video for the first time, I couldn't believe what was happening in Oropul.
15:23And you said there.
15:24Yeah, last week we spoke about the youth club and what they were doing.
15:27So, Oropul, you all can get together and decide what standard you want for yourselves because this here is a
15:35brazen attempt to intimidate persons.
15:40And that set of gunshots and that set of gunshots and that set of gunshots and that set of gunshots
15:43and that set of gunshots in any areas on cold 4.
15:44Yes.
15:45And therefore you from the video would know who is that person riding that bicycle.
15:50And the ages can't be much.
16:20Yeah, look at these little children here.
16:21That person and not only that, the community also assists because we stress that as well.
16:55Yes.
16:56Yes.
16:57This continues to work extremely hard and according to the Daily Express where police killed two in a raid.
17:03Now, residents of the Laramane awoke to gunfire yesterday as two men were killed in a confrontation with police officers
17:12at a house in the community.
17:15Now, the media release from the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service said the shooting occurred at around 5.20 a
17:21.m.
17:22Upon entering the premises, officers encountered a male suspect who was armed with a firearm.
17:28Despite repeated instructions for the suspect to drop the weapon, the man allegedly raised it in their direction.
17:37Officers then discharged their service firearms, striking the suspect.
17:42Now, the release continued by saying, while at the premises, officers encountered a second male suspect in a bedroom who
17:49was also armed with a firearm.
17:51He was reportedly instructed several times to drop the weapon, but allegedly pointed it in the direction of officers who
17:59discharged their service firearms, striking him.
18:02Both men were taken to the San Fernando General Hospital where they were pronounced dead.
18:08Condolences to the family.
18:09Yeah, condolences to the family.
18:11But, Whitney, the area is one that is of major concern to those of us from South Trinidad.
18:18And I'll give you a bit of history.
18:20Things were so bad in the Ponce Street area in Laramaine that they had to establish a police post right
18:26there.
18:27Yes.
18:27And then after that, you would have seen, even in the Laramaine High School, you would have seen where there
18:33was the school, the police school, the school policing initiative.
18:38Yes, initiative.
18:39And there was some success there.
18:41So, that Ponce Street area has always been a difficult area, it has always been a difficult area for law
18:47enforcement.
18:48So, when I read that article, it didn't come as a surprise.
18:52I mean, I'm not weighing who is right or wrong or the circumstances.
18:56It did not come to a surprise of many of us from South Trinidad that that actually took place in
19:03Ponce Street.
19:03Now, Captain, this is apparently an alleged beating, not the behavior you would want to see from adults at all.
19:09And this is what we speak of.
19:11We are not sure with regards to the location, but this is a robbery that took place.
19:16Let's take a look at this.
19:22Okay, I can speak to this.
19:24This was on a construction site, and they were going to pay wages.
19:28The bag had $100,000 plus in it.
19:32And so, this is a construction site.
19:35You see the concrete truck.
19:38Do you know the area, by chance?
19:39I can't recall the area, but I read about it.
19:42So, you know what these bandits are after?
19:46They're after the payroll.
19:47Look, they're grabbing the payroll there.
19:49That's the payroll they're grabbing.
19:51Yeah?
19:53Right?
19:55But this clearly was an inside job.
19:57Of course, it has to be an inside job, and they know exactly what time the payroll will reach,
20:03and who would be bringing it.
20:05So, that's the money from the bank in the bag.
20:08Do you know, Captain, if they are national,
20:12or...?
20:13I can't say.
20:14I can't say at all.
20:16But, you know, we...
20:20This is really sad.
20:21Yeah, it's really sad.
20:22I'm not sure the reason why they're using cash-to-pay employees,
20:26but it's the safest way of doing things is not...
20:29As you raise the question of whether they are nationals or non-nationals,
20:34you would expect the non-nationals not to have a bank account.
20:38Yes.
20:38So, probably that's the reason.
20:39It may have had non-nationals who have to get cash.
20:43Yes.
20:43No, no, I'm just asking, because I'm hoping we could find a way to prevent these things from happening,
20:48because you just don't know who...
20:49Most contractors now pay through the bank,
20:53but, you know, I guess there would be exceptions.
20:56Yes.
20:56Hopefully they could find a way, because clearly persons inside might be given information and harming individuals.
21:02Right now, it's time for us to take a look at what's making our SOE update as of August 19,
21:082026.
21:10Number of operations, 11,737.
21:15Number of targets prior to offenders, 2,992.
21:20Searches conducted, 4,211.
21:23Traffic operations, 7,230.
21:27Total persons arrested, 5,159.
21:31Total persons charged, 1,237.
21:36Firearms recovered, we're seeing an increase with the pistols, revolvers, shotguns,
21:40and it's carrying us to a total of 285.
21:43Ammunition recovered, we're seeing increase with the 12 gauge,
21:47also the .38, along with the .357, and .45, along with 85 other types of rums.
21:59And dangerous drug seas, we are seeing an increase with the cannabis and cocaine.
22:03Yeah, and I saw over the weekend where the TTPS would have published some information
22:11with regards to the cultivation of marijuana down in Ruga.
22:16What was really shocking was the fact that these officers, some of whom I know,
22:22would have had to go into this plantation where they found pipe guns, right?
22:28And those can be easily disguised, and those can seriously injure human beings.
22:36But commendations to the police as they continue to conduct their searches,
22:40conduct their operations, to rid the country of drugs and, again, ammunition.
22:46And we'll see how the mobile posts will be working, because we're getting...
22:49Everybody is really excited to see how this is going to roll out, right?
22:51Yeah, I myself excited to see how it will roll out, and I think they mean well.
22:57At least the reason for it is sound, and, you know, I think we're excited to see
23:03how this will unfold in the coming weeks.
23:06Yes, most definitely.
23:07Right now, let's take a look at what's making today's headlines.
23:57And those are your stories making today's headlines.
24:00We'll take that break.
24:00We'll come back with more after this.

25:39Maybe you don't value your life, but others value theirs.
25:49A message from the TTPs.
26:03And welcome back.
26:04If you're now joining us, we have Captain Ramberat here with us, of course, every Monday to guide
26:08us accordingly.
26:09And speaking of guiding us, where are we with missing persons in the month of August?
26:13Right.
26:14So, Whitney, thus far, for the month of August, we've had 20 reports of missing persons.
26:19A little more than one per day.
26:22And we still have seven outstanding.
26:25Of the seven outstanding, we're still trying to locate Cade Richards, who's only age 12.
26:35So, I know that this is engaging law enforcement.
26:38So, I wish to not say more, but if you have information, please call the police at 800-TIPS-999
26:47-555.
26:49Or you could still call our team at 799-1453.
26:54Now, Hector Skeet, his mental health is compromised and he's moving around.
27:00Could be in Port of Spain by now.
27:03But his relatives and us, we haven't been able to pinpoint him.
27:07We're getting some sightings here and there.
27:10But he's on the move.
27:11And we're asking you, if you know him, Hector Skeet, from the Dabody area, to please contact
27:18the police at 800-TIPS-999-555.
27:22Or our team at 799-1453.
27:26He is moving around.
27:28And then we still have this young man, Jahan Grandison, who is age 16 and was last seen
27:37in the St. Helena area.
27:39And just for more information on Jahan, Jahan is originally from the Maloney area, building
27:49tree, to be exact.
27:51And so, if you have information, please contact us at 799-1453 or the Children's Authority hotline
28:02at 996 or the police.
28:05I want to say, because we've been looking for Jahan, you know, we're very concerned about
28:10his whereabouts, because we feel by now we should have been able to locate him.
28:17All right.
28:18And we have Wade Sandiford, who is missing from the Dabody area.
28:23He's age 36.
28:25We've been trying to locate him.
28:27But if it is members of the public, you have information which could assist us.
28:32Please call us at 799-1453 or the police at 800-TIPS-999 or 555.
28:43Hopefully, you know, based on the little information we have, it's too little for us to work with.
28:50So, we're asking for the public's assistance here.
28:54And then we have Anaya Hyacinth.
28:57She's 16 from the Sandy Grande area.
28:59Now, there have been a few sightings of her.
29:02She's moving with another female and a male in the Sandy Grande area.
29:06We know she went to a party last night.
29:09She was on the road 3 a.m. this morning on the Toko Road.
29:13So, those of you viewing from the northeastern district and you use Spottam and Anaya Hyacinth,
29:21just call the police and give them her location.
29:26Call them at 800-TIPS-999 or call us at 799-1453 and we'll pass the information to the police.
29:39Marlon Perera is, his mental health is compromised.
29:42So, we have a team from Central who should be out there right now looking for Marlon Perera.
29:49He's from the Five Rivers, Aruka area.
29:52And he, his mental health is compromised.
29:56The last information we have is that he's moving with these dust masks on his face.
30:02So, you can't identify him easily.
30:04I cannot identify him.
30:06And then, as well as this here, it should be in a kind of nutty dread, reddish color, rust style
30:13by now.
30:15This is another recent pick.
30:16Yeah.
30:18And he has been missing since April.
30:20It came to us today.
30:21And we have one other person who is outstanding, Cilicia Cameo.
30:28Now, Cilicia is not new to us.
30:33Cilicia is a ward of the St. Jude's Home, ward of the state.
30:37And she was attached to the St. Jude's Home.
30:41And she was given, you know, this little holiday break to come back to her mother.
30:46Her mother made all the preparations in the world for Cilicia to be home with her for one month.
30:53And last night, between 9 a.m. and 10 p.m., after she saw Cilicia in bed, Cilicia left through
31:02one of the doors.
31:03Now, the information we have on Cilicia Cameo is that she was in the Queen's Park, Savannah last night.
31:11We know that she's moving with her friend named Kiara, who is from Beatum.
31:17So, if you're listening here from the Beatum and you know you could assist in getting Cilicia home,
31:26please contact the police.
31:28That would be the Bessel Street police or the Morva police or 800-TIPS-999-555
31:36or you could contact our team at 799-145.
31:42Captain, quick question.
31:44The person with the information you have that's moving with that young girl is the young person an adult?
31:49She just turned 18, so she was a former ward of the state, again, attached to the St. Jude's Home.
31:57She was home for girls, but we're seeing a familiar pattern where the girls who leave after 18,
32:03because they know the younger ones there, they try, you know, to link with them.
32:08To build them, too.
32:08Yeah, and we're seeing a pattern.
32:10So, we know the players.
32:12So, by the time you talk about who from the Beatum, I would know already.
32:15Yeah.
32:16I will know.
32:17And that's why, you know, we will work hard.
32:20To her mom, we will work hard to get her back.
32:23These girls make silly mistakes.
32:25They went there in the first place because they are uncontrollable.
32:30And, you know, there is where you will get some improvement in behavior,
32:35but then, again, peer pressure is something that...
32:38Yes, and we're exposing them to other children with other issues
32:41and what they learn from before and the tricks and everything else that's there.
32:46Just so you might have to let your child sleep in your bed with you,
32:49just to make sure that they're safe.
32:50Yes, just to make sure I told you mother that...
32:51Yeah, let your child sleep in your bed.
32:53...we've been dealing with Salisha.
32:55Let me see.
32:56So sad.
32:56Since she was 13 years old.
32:58Yeah, that's really, really sad.
32:59All right.
32:59Guys, we need to take that break.
33:01When we come back, we will take your phone calls.
33:02You can remember, you can give us a call at 623-1711, extension 1996 or 1997.
33:09We'll be back.

34:23Sports in Trinidad and Tobago is facing its darkest hour.
34:30Many have actually lost hope.
34:33The fearless one, Andre Arrobatista, saying it is not in his blood.
34:38So he is not giving up on you.
34:41You the people to stand by sports and to stand tall.
34:46It can only get better if we wanted to and work together, not apart, in sports in 2026.

35:15Help me, help me.
35:20The tough truths.
35:22The uncomfortable questions.
35:24The conversations others avoid.
35:26We turn to experts unafraid to go there.
35:29Investigating what's hidden.
35:30Exposing what's ignored.
35:32Tackling the issues that matter.
35:34Mental health.
35:35Poverty.
35:36Criminal justice.
35:37From the courtroom to the classroom, no topic is off limits.
35:41No agenda.
35:42No bias.
35:43Real stories.
35:45Real people.
35:46Real change.
36:05And we are back now, Captain, we continue to stand here almost every single day while we are here.
36:11To let the public know, please take your time on the nation's roads.
36:16When it is wet, slow down.
36:18Even when it is not wet.
36:19Take your time.
36:21Take your time.
36:21Right?
36:21All these lovely things we say, but yet still, people just don't listen.
36:26And this is the reason why we continue to ask people to take your time on the nation's roads because
36:32these things will happen.
36:33Let's take a look.
36:33We have a lot that took place over the weekend, including now, this was last week, by the way.
36:37So, this is a Toyota Vigo.
36:40Yes.
36:41We'll get back to that.
36:42Yes.
36:43So, you know, this thing, you know, there's a comical thing on social media.
36:49How?
36:50Yes.
36:50How?
36:51How?
36:51How?
36:52How did you end up there?
36:54How did this vehicle reach there?
36:56And certainly, it cannot be explained how this vehicle reached there, but certainly something went wrong.
37:07To see if it was Hulk-like for real.
37:09Yeah.
37:10And then here, we are seeing this incident, from what I understand, this is in the St. Augustine area.
37:16St. Augustine area.
37:18I saw the report that, yeah, it was a Benz.
37:21I'm not sure if it's a business I'm looking at.
37:24A lot of European vehicles we're going to see here today that was involved in some serious accidents.
37:29Serious accidents.
37:29Yeah.
37:30And RTAs also because, Captain, I think, to these vehicles, you don't feel the speed.
37:37Yeah, and apart from that, Whitney, I think we're living in a rush society where we have to rush here
37:44and rush there.
37:44That's another thing, too, yeah.
37:45And we sacrifice safety, your own safety and your family's safety.
37:51Yes.
37:51All right, so, you know, some of these accidents, mainly, you could attribute them to speed.
37:59So, I don't think he drove off, you know, by accident there.
38:02Yes.
38:03And look at this one.
38:04All right.
38:04This is a three-car smash-up.
38:06This one is a few vehicles involved in this smash-up here.
38:10Oh, this was this morning, from what I understand, and this is coming out of the west, right, the Goodwood
38:15area.
38:16Yeah.
38:16Right before the bend.
38:18Oh, wow.
38:19And this one here.
38:19Was it late?
38:20Yeah, it had to be.
38:22So, this is a three-car accident here.
38:25Wow.
38:25You know, so, we're seeing smashes and crashes.
38:30Inconveniences as well.
38:31Yeah, causing a lot of traffic jams and headache for law enforcement.
38:36And look at this.
38:37What's this vehicle?
38:38Yes, we're in South now.
38:39What's this side of him behind the two gentlemen?
38:42All that has been smashed in.
38:45And so, we're asking persons, you know, that there is no need to speed on our nation roads.
38:51And this is in the agreement area now.
38:53And here, another accident here.
38:55Yeah, the frustration you could see.
38:57Yeah.
38:58The frustration.
38:58Creates a lot of frustration, headache, financial problems.
39:02Yes, yes.
39:03So, just please take your time on the roads and always remember to drive with others in mind.
39:10I do so at all times and I obey the law and traffic regulations and another European vehicle.
39:18Tire twisted their front grille missing.
39:22And these are expensive accidents.
39:25A small hit now could cost a lot of money.
39:28Regardless of the vehicle.
39:30Yeah.
39:31The model of the vehicle.
39:32And then this one was another disturbing one that, it is very scary because on the highways, let me tell
39:38you why, Captain.
39:39Listen, many times I've experienced terrible driving from persons who drive vans.
39:44And I don't know if they are not aware or they just don't care.
39:49Not understanding that these vehicles get extremely light with speed, right?
39:58And there's no weight in the trade.
40:00Zero weight.
40:01Which is worse.
40:02It doesn't have to speed in with weight, period.
40:03But it makes the vehicle lighter.
40:06Yes, it does.
40:07Fish tailing happens as a certain when you could, something that is in the road, maybe you didn't see.
40:13Yeah.
40:14And the thing about it is that when they make alterations to these vans, the center of gravity, which is
40:20key to understanding your vehicle, that changes.
40:23And so, you know, but that's one reason for him to smooth to the right.
40:28There was no uncommon vehicle.
40:30No, but I think, too, is the, remember, in the vehicle, the control of your vehicle.
40:35You don't know what he was feeling on the wheel.
40:37On the wheel.
40:38That could pull on you trying to bring it back.
40:40Oh, yeah.
40:40He probably got a skid.
40:41When there's strong winds while you're driving, you experience it.
40:44I'm sure many drivers experience the steering wheel moving in a particular way.
40:48If a strong wind blows, you're not seeing the wind.
40:50Exactly, but you will feel the effects of the wind.
40:53On your vehicle, too.
40:53On your vehicle.
40:54If you panic.
40:55Yeah.
40:55You pull thinking that something happening, and then that happens.
40:59And then that happens.
41:00But sometimes, you know, I even see, you know, they're passing me in these roughish type of roads.
41:05Yes.
41:06Going pelt-melt.
41:07So I'm saying that they don't even care about their own vehicles.
41:12But clearly, they have a monetary.
41:14Because if I go down a little more like that, I want to cringe.
41:16Oh, yeah, please be careful on our nation's roads don't get a bad reputation, like what you're saying, vessel.
41:23Not vessel.
41:24I know, I've always seen vessel in some kind of accident.
41:26I know, but you know.
41:27Aqua drivers.
41:28A lot of mercy.
41:28You know it's Aqua and vessel now.
41:29It used to be Tida, but Aqua and vessel.
41:31No, the Aqua, they took over and the notes.
41:34Yeah.
41:34Because that engine, I don't know what's in that engine.
41:36Yeah.
41:37It's like a fucking fast.
41:38So let us be careful on our nation's roads, please.
41:41All right, guys, we need to take that break.
41:42When we come back, we will take your calls and more.
41:44All right, guys, today we're going to start a new topic.
41:47And that topic is entitled...
41:50R. J.
42:00There is no way I could teach in all that noise.
42:04And there is definitely no way we children could learn in that noise of violence.
42:09They deserve more.
42:12That fear, that anxiety.
42:15We have to have our classrooms filled with joy, laughter, and hope.
42:20Not fear.
42:21That is why I support the TCPS School Oriented Policing Initiative.
42:27This is not just about law enforcement.
42:30It's about building trust.
42:33Parents, teachers, students, and officers all coming together to provide a safe space where young minds can flourish.
42:43If we all stand side by side, we can protect our children, keep them safe, and they can have a
42:53space to learn without anxiety and fear.
42:57I am ready to partner with the TCPS in fostering safe, respectful, and empowered schools across Trinidad and Tobago.
43:08It's not a simple task.
43:09We need parents, students, teachers, and communities to get involved.
43:16It's time to get on board.
43:19Securing our schools.
43:21Securing our future.
43:40Securing our future.
43:41Securing our future.
43:41Securing our future.
43:42Securing our future.
43:42Securing our future.
43:43Securing our future.
43:44Securing our future.
43:45Securing our future.
43:45Securing our future.
43:46Securing our future.
43:46Securing our future.
43:48Securing our future.
43:48Securing our future.
43:49Securing our future.
43:51Securing our future.
43:55Securing our future.
44:01Securing our future.
44:04Securing our future.
44:06Securing our future.
44:09But there is. According to all the archives we've read, before being granted the title of king, the leader had
44:21to face a challenger to defend his claim on the throne.
44:24All you have to do is challenge both leaders and defeat them in single combat.
44:52The challenger mando is to welcome deaf boy.
45:22You know what? Let's head to the sacred hill.
45:26We'll meet you there.
45:47And welcome back. We have a caller on the line right now. Caller, good evening.
45:51Good evening.
45:53Hi, good evening.
45:56Hello.
45:58Hello.
45:59Good evening.
46:02Good evening.
46:03Good evening.
46:31yeah thanks caller thanks for that very informative yes yes and I know you were
46:37saying the same thing too but um and and that is very good for you know persons
46:42who driving vans and pickups to understand what happened yes I drove a
46:47highlight to the very first time that's my dream vehicle so fingers crossed I'll
46:52get up soon yeah after master driving it yeah definitely so could we head to
46:58class and be oh my gosh is this DD the is it's a carcass my apologies where it
47:06comes to the um snakes no it was numb not here because but this year what what
47:13what has been currently shown is that um we had we have our hunter switch and
47:19rescue team or selects which is the utam the young ones and they were taken to
47:24the Columbia volcano mud volcano in cedrus on the weekend so this is there out and
47:33out there to a very um not too difficult place to find so you're trying we didn't
47:39get much photos because of the mud but they had a very enjoyable time in terms of
47:44tracking to see this this huge mud volcano in cedrus what does it feel when it's
47:50there it feels good it's normal mud mix it's a type of green mud most of the
47:55times it's nice some persons believe it has through a therapeutic um healing you
48:05know and so they enjoy putting the mud on themselves and these are the younger
48:11members of the team here that is David and behind him is Joseph they they are
48:17training currently training with us so and then we have the the children of
48:22members too so they had an enjoyable time but if persons venture there what um you
48:26could let them know but persons are not experienced I would tell them do not go
48:32in the in the in the when rain is falling um if they was going perfectly perfect
48:38perfectly well until there was a downpour almost um as they were able to enter the
48:45volcano okay so you know but I'm trying to go on a dry day the dry season is the
48:49best and um you know if you want a tour guide to go get you two beautiful
48:54creatures down there you could call us seven nine nine one four five three we
48:59have our members down there who could um you know take you on a tour of this
49:03beautiful double mud volcano in citrus so it's called what kind of what columbia
49:10columbia and it's on the columbia estate a coconut estate in the citrusy carcass
49:17yeah all right look look it's a yeah like he has fun all the time he's an excellent
49:24searcher you know every time we go down to 30 carcass and cedrus he's one of our
49:29key persons down there do we have any running water in those locations no no no you have to
49:35come out and get go to joseph homes or akash home members whom to wash it off but he ended
49:41up in
49:41clifton hill yesterday even for a seabat that's in point 14 so they had a very enjoyable time outside
49:47yes yes no less at the claxon b all right so you remember at the beginning program i told you
49:54there
49:54were some heavy showers in claxton bay and the the thing about the heavy showers is that it will disturb
50:00wildlife as well and they will want to get a dry area so we suspected this is what happened it
50:06it
50:06happened just after the rainfall when we got a distress call from a resident stating that there
50:12was a large snake in her kitchen and um you know so that creates panic i'm so happy that they
50:19would
50:20call us and not destroy the snake so our members hulk and christian went down there so he said in
50:26the
50:26kitchen like like in the kitchen in her kitchen here and look at this oh my god look at this
50:31size of um
50:33red tail bow constricted yeah and what's something watch it there's the head and what she's going to
50:39strike uh try to strike at christian there but they were able to success that's not the same the same
50:44snake yeah that's the same snake yeah it looked bigger in on while it was on the ground yes it
50:50looked
50:50bigger so they would hold them and back them and relocate them in cases like this when we get that
50:56size
50:56we try to go further into the forested areas deep inside and release them so that you know they may
51:02never come in contact with human beings again and even if you think that was the only one then was
51:10the weekend of snakes it was the weekend of snakes so that we got a distress call from a resident
51:14in
51:15maracas and jesus that he saw a large snake in his vehicle oh my goodness and so we had to
51:21go there
51:22we got some assistance there because um from from a resident who's not really afraid of them because
51:29yeah so much snakes in vehicles no he it was really well wrapped around certain parts of the engine so
51:37it took some time and some pulling to get him out of there and there it is you see him
51:42try to you know
51:43defend himself yes um not knowing that um you know he would be taken safely so there it is they
51:50call that
51:51necking when you hold it by the neck yeah and um so here it is he's been safely removed and
51:58of course
51:59what they do when they have them like this is that they would remove all the ticks or even when
52:05just
52:05before release they will remove all the ticks now if a snake is carrying an injury we will take it
52:14to the
52:14vet to make sure that it's okay before we what is that yeah we'll take it to our vet to
52:19make sure it's okay
52:20before we release it if we see any injuries to the snake so it's a lot of stuff involved in
52:28in in wildlife rescue some people still feel that we don't have large snakes in trinda
52:34red tail boar constrictor harmless and um you know that's the size is intimidating not um rats and
52:45other you know smaller animals yes it will be dangerous for them but in the case of this how
52:51dog did the person realize the snake was in the engine i i wasn't there so i didn't get to
52:57ask i
52:58did ask them but you know it's always good to find out maybe he would have gone to check the
53:03water or
53:04something inside there because i was wondering how we saw it but it's not the first time the
53:09the engine is not the heat and they would come there for the warmth and in most cases you find
53:15them in homes apart from the fact that the home may have some sort of food source for them they
53:21come
53:21there for the the warmth what what food source the home has that is well sometimes you may have pigeons
53:28in your roof or bats or sometimes they are rodents in the yard and also um basically is is is
53:36those
53:36type of things cockroaches and stuff they will come around so you know keep keep our keep your
53:42surroundings clean and then you wouldn't have to call us about snakes the other thing about snakes is
53:48they're different types so this red tail boar constrictor is not necessarily a climber but you
53:54also have to be aware of the trees around your homes yes and make sure it's not touching the roof
53:59so you
54:00could get snakes like the tigray and the matcha and um cascabel and they coming into your home through
54:08what type of um like garden snakes we have we have numerous garden snakes um two of the common ones
54:17is
54:17the cat eyed snake um it's really a snake that that lives in amongst the flower pots and trees
54:24and rubble and if you're at home it will get into your tool pan in your garage or your toy
54:30no no this
54:31is this is a brown snake with some black markings on the back very harmless and the other common snake
54:38around your home would be the horse whip or the vine snake something that's i would normally hold it
54:45they wouldn't even bother to bite you they were just so they do nibble no they don't they don't even
54:50do
54:50you anything you hold them and you put them and they will glide and go their way or stay on
54:56you so
54:57these snakes are harmful and even so i'm sorry harmless so even so they bite you it's not even well
55:06it's
55:06just just you wouldn't even feel it what do you mean so like a pinch it's it's you wouldn't even
55:13feel
55:13it it will just be there and cannot penetrate your skin at all right so they they eat what then
55:19so
55:20those are the ones that will eat the finer the smaller type insects like really that type of thing
55:27and um so they're useful and maintaining again they're part of the ecosystem they have a rule to play in
55:35the ddd food chain and so they they help regulate some of the ddd the population of insects and animals
