00:00Hello. Welcome to the CV's Flight Channel.
00:30The likes of Lukas Koonen, the visitor from Belgium, Hayden Deegan, the young American, challenging them.
00:35And it could happen in this moto because they'll take the results from the race earlier today,
00:40combining with this one to determine the overall winner in Thunder Valley.
00:44There is Koonen, second in moto one. Lawrence, the winner on the number one.
00:48What's going to happen now?
00:52Great start for Jet Lawrence on the number one.
00:55Leads him into turn one.
00:57And his brother is right there, the 96, Hunter Lawrence.
01:00Better start for Lukas Koonen.
01:02He actually did a great job because he got a bad jump out of that gate
01:05and just got fooled by both HRC Honda boys.
01:08But it looks like he can get around Aaron Plessinger, his temporary teammate for the weekend.
01:13And at one, two, three.
01:16So it's two Hondas in red, two orange.
01:18KTMs Plessinger on the seven.
01:19Koonen. Oh, no.
01:20And just like that, Hunter Lawrence is down.
01:23Ah, bummer for Hunter.
01:24That's a tough position to be in.
01:25Opening lap.
01:26They put a little bit of water down.
01:28So easily, easily that can happen.
01:30But that's going to be costly for him because he came into this moto
01:33only one point ahead of his brother after the penalty.
01:36So Hunter's got to get to work.
01:38He has the red play to the bike because he was the championship leader coming in.
01:41That is an uncharacteristic mistake from the very consistent 96.
01:46So he's got work to do.
01:49He's around the top ten right now.
01:53Trying to see what Hayden.
01:55Hayden's running about seventh right now.
01:58So...
02:00And shout out, you see in green, Garrett Marchbanks.
02:02A lot of penalties to other riders in that moto.
02:05Marchbanks is the one that got credited with third in the first race earlier today,
02:10which is his second best finish ever in this class.
02:13He could even be in contention to win the race, depending on how it unfolds.
02:17But right now, Jett Lawrence doing what he does.
02:21A lot of concern for him coming into this championship
02:23off of a very serious foot and ankle injury.
02:28Was not his normal self at the opening round two weeks ago,
02:31but he won last weekend and he's in control early today.
02:35Yeah, if you're Jett, you know, the one thing,
02:37if we heard him on the podium, he said that, you know, it wasn't his foot.
02:41He just needed to find the flow.
02:42But he kind of found it at the end of that first moto.
02:44So the scary part for all these other guys is that he comes out
02:47a little bit different track and he finds that flow a lot earlier.
02:50And he's going to find it if you give him this gap
02:53as he got about two and a half seconds over Lucas Kuhner.
02:56So Kuhner, the 19-year-old, leading the MXGP Championship based in Europe.
03:01What a performance, jumping into racing in Pro Motocross in America for the first time.
03:05Now there is Hunter Lawrence who went down on that first lap
03:09with that orange-yellow gear challenging RJ Hampshire.
03:12That crash bumped him from second to seventh.
03:16Yeah, you've got to watch some of the different lines.
03:19Hunter Lawrence says he should have a run up.
03:20RJ right here.
03:22RJ starts to close that gap.
03:24RJ's been around the block before, but Hunter had a great run.
03:27Tried again.
03:28And I believe Hayden Deacon's right in front of both of them.
03:30So the 96 understands I needed to get moving.
03:33And this is at the same section that he went down early.
03:36You notice that he didn't go inside there.
03:37He followed RJ to the outside.
03:39And that, to me, believes that that corner has to be a lot wetter than we can see on TV.
03:44Inside's just too tough right now.
03:45Yeah, it's too tough.
03:46Otherwise, he would have just dove to the inside.
03:48He probably would have had that pass made.
03:50So checking in on Hayden Deacon here.
03:52He's battling his teammate Webb on the number two.
03:54Deacon has that blue and yellow gear.
03:57And just ahead of Hampshire on the 24th.
04:00Two battles starting to collide now.
04:03This Hampshire-Lawrence battle.
04:05And then Webb and Deacon right ahead of them.
04:07That's 4th through 7th.
04:09Yeah, if you're Hunter Lawrence, what you want.
04:11You know, Hayden Deacon's going to be upset after what happened.
04:14The penalty because he felt, hey, fair game, right?
04:16Everybody else is taking it.
04:18He's probably going to be upset as he's able to get around Cooper Webb.
04:20I think Webb waved a butt.
04:22So Webb take a hand off in that corner.
04:24Not sure maybe if he was getting a little tight in the arms or if he was a wave.
04:27And there goes Lawrence.
04:29Yeah, probably Cooper is pulling a tear off.
04:31Got cross-rutted, nonetheless.
04:33Okay.
04:34Hunter Lawrence not messing around.
04:36He's going for two passes now.
04:38And he has it.
04:39Yeah, great moves by Hunter Lawrence about to make that pass.
04:43Can you see how difficult it is for guys to get around?
04:45And actually, Hunter, over the last couple laps, he's made quite a bit of passes.
04:48Earlier, we were saying Garrick Marks makes it right in front of him.
04:51So, didn't even be able to get back up.
04:53Now he's in fifth.
04:54Hey, Deacon right in front of him.
04:58Hampshire, the veteran out of Florida on the Rockstar Energy Husk Marta.
05:02And then a big pack back here.
05:04Addison Motocross is known for 40 riders on the track.
05:07And there are battles all over it.
05:11And Hunter Lawrence wants to get into another one.
05:13He has cleared Webb and Hampshire.
05:15He wants to get to Deacon.
05:18Plessig are running strong in third.
05:21Yeah, you can see these guys trying to tiptoe, especially this next boat.
05:25You see how Hunter Lawrence start losing the front end.
05:28And so, they fixed some of these sections by, you know, cleaning it up because all the rust.
05:32But when they do that, they bring all that loose stuff back on top.
05:34So, partly why Hunter Lawrence probably went down really, really slippery racetrack right now.
05:41Jorge Prado in orange on the 26th, making moves.
05:46He's all over Webb.
05:48You know, these guys ain't strangers.
05:49Go back to the Supercross.
05:50They've had some incidents, let's just say the least.
05:54So, for Webb, I don't think you'll be raising their hand up to let Jorge buy this photo.
05:58They almost had another one right there.
06:00Front wheel from Prado.
06:02Awfully close to the leg of the number two of Webb.
06:05Veteran out of North Carolina.
06:09And there's Prado.
06:10The Spaniard found a line to the inside.
06:12Ah, what a move by Jorge.
06:14Cooper stood it up in that corner.
06:15Jorge doped it inside.
06:19Interesting scenario for Prado.
06:21Multi-time champ in that MXGP series.
06:24Start of the year with a very strong second-place finish.
06:27Last week, bike problems.
06:29He's now way back at the championship.
06:31You would think he'd want to rally to get back in.
06:33That first moto was good, not great.
06:36Let's see if he can get a little closer to the front on that 26th.
06:40Yeah, hopefully Jorge continues to do that because clearly he's still good enough to win these races
06:45and fight for this championship, but at the same time, it's like he goes down.
06:50He has that bike mechanical last weekend, bad start on the outside,
06:54and sometimes his riding is not necessarily indicative of how his results.
06:59His results is not matching his riding, so hopefully he can continue that attitude to keep fighting
07:03and just remember how good he's riding because I hate to see him kind of foul off this early
07:08because of something insecure.
07:09March banks on that green Kawasaki making moves.
07:13Again, he is the one credited with third in the first race earlier today due to all the penalties.
07:19He's not done.
07:20Going after Prado.
07:23Yeah, we saw Garrett a lot of times last year in the G50 class.
07:26He would just seem to come out of nowhere using these outside lines,
07:29throwing those legs out, and really railing the stuff, using that momentum around the racetrack.
07:33I think the way this track is being slippery, it might help a rider like Jared using these outside
07:39because of his long leg.
07:40He's kind of used that to balance.
07:42So far, third, that first moto, and top 10 in this next one.
07:46It might be a good day for Kawasaki, which they need.
07:50Yeah, they lost his teammate Chase Sexton a big crash yesterday,
07:54so Sexton not competing today.
07:56But March banks carrying the flag for the boys in green, Will.
08:00Yeah, and those boys in green over that Monster Energy Kawasaki have been working incredibly hard,
08:05Jason, to get both Chase Sexton, who we were talking about there,
08:08out with that crash yesterday and his teammate Garrett March banks on screen now.
08:13Getting the bike where they need it to be.
08:15Garrett told me, I have never tested so much in my entire life,
08:18and it was a good feeling for him for that finally to be coming together
08:21and it showing in the results.
08:23And the team spoke to me and said, hey, this is us, yes, but it's a combination, too.
08:27This is about Garrett in his comfortable place.
08:29They're referring to him racing outdoors here in Pro Motor Club.
08:32They just said his confidence building.
08:34They can see it.
08:35It's boosting the team morale.
08:36It's boosting Garrett's morale, and these results just keep building off the back of it.
08:42And the team, Will has said, they're very impressed with the testing abilities of March banks.
08:46James, you can speak to that.
08:46And all the riders will try different parts of the motorcycles.
08:50But not everyone's created equal as far as understanding what the bike is doing and what they need.
08:55Yeah, absolutely.
08:56I mean, we just watched the, got a shot of Lucas and then Sasha Cooney.
09:00And they're twins, but they're completely different personalities on how they ride a motorcycle.
09:04So you can imagine that as teammates.
09:06Yeah, you can help each other out, but Garrett rides a lot different than Chase.
09:09So maybe what doesn't work for Chase works for Garrett.
09:12And I think it's important for the team to keep that morale up, to let Garrett know we're here, believing
09:18in you, just like they believe in Chase.
09:19And each one of these riders, after the results come, the team will get better.
09:24The bike will get better.
09:25And Garrett's now starting to believe after he's going up against Jorge Prada, trying to make that pass for seventh
09:30spot.
09:32Great racing here.
09:33Enjoy the sounds of the SMX World Championship.
10:01Let's go.
10:33Let's go.
11:00Let's go.
11:58Let's go.

12:57Let's go.
13:26Let's go.
13:32Let's go.
13:36Let's go.
13:51Let's go.
14:03Let's go.
14:05Let's go.
14:22Let's go.
14:29Let's go.
14:34Let's go.
14:38Let's go.
14:40Let's go.
15:04Let's go.
15:08Let's go.
15:12Let's go.
15:27Let's go.
15:30Let's go.
15:30Let's go.
15:31Let's go.
15:31Let's go.
15:31years now and a lot of it is energy management the idea for hunter and jet is they will use
15:35the
15:36energy in burst when they need it but they're not going to waste it when they don't and a lot
15:42of
15:42times it looks like someone's got a hook in them yeah then they use the burst when they have to
15:46well i think he's using a burst right now okay you know the way he's tacked going down that hill
15:50see some of the chatter out of his bike to me that's telling he's starting to charge because
15:54i think he senses that maybe if you get another second and two maybe lucas would be happy just
15:59being here in america leave jet alone but he's got to put in that time just like he did last
16:03weekend
16:03all right the burst from lawrence can he outlast kunan halfway through this moto a reminder stock
16:09up on a monster energy drink lawrence has the gap a little over four seconds
16:17and the injury to his right foot you see he has to take off the peg to clear that rut
16:21there
16:21and a lot of people wondering how he would perform this summer he could be taking over the point lead
16:26today it will taking over the point league with that injury as you said and not riding his usual
16:32style adapting to his new kind of way of riding his new way of having to use his foot as
16:38we see darren
16:39lawrence's father there in the box lower right we didn't know what we were going to see out of jet
16:44lawrence like you said jason coming in but he spoke to me yesterday i asked him are you in pain
16:49while you're
16:50riding he said certain things when he talked about riding on the ball of his foot and that ankle flexing
16:54because he lost a lot of movement in it he said yes there's pain so he showed me a position
16:58with his
16:59foot where sometimes he has to ride right foot kind of on the heel and that sort of right toe
17:04tips out
17:04we talked about a little bit earlier that means there's potential for catching that toe especially when
17:09it starts getting deeper ruts like this and on top of that he's had to change his week as well
17:14he's
17:14only riding one day a week he said that's likely to be for the foreseeable future as he has to
17:19manage
17:20that kind of pain and make sure he gets it back to a sort of a a neutral point where
17:24it's not getting
17:25any worse come race day so incredible to think that we're seeing this strange and this level of
17:31performance when he's working around so many factors here yeah it is beautiful to watch now we're
17:37watching his brother finally gets up inside of aaron blessinger great job by hunter he's got hey deegan
17:42only a few seconds up the track but yeah you know just going back to what you know we were
17:46just
17:47talking about with jet but one thing that he does and i love it because he's this injury has caused
17:52him
17:52to learn a different way to win and by doing these short bursts in this race jet knows that he
17:59understands like he's not going to pull away to a point to where it's going to drop like go from
18:03four
18:03seconds to seven seconds but when he does these bursts it's like a nba team a couple of the you're
18:10hitting three-pointers it makes the other team team starts hitting three-pointers and in this
18:14position what it's doing is making these other guys have to pick it up on a racetrack that is so
18:19slippery by jet picking that pace up makes them pick the pace up which makes them make more mistakes and
18:24that's how he builds his gap so pretty cool to watch how he's attacking his racetrack and now james
18:31stretching that gap to over five seconds over kunin and he would be the point leader
18:38for how he looked in the first qualifying session of the year he was out of the top 10 in
18:44lap times
18:45what an incredible adaptation three weeks later for him to be in the series lead as for this young
18:50man the 19 year old is out of belgium i don't know if he's going to take the measure of
18:55jet dismoto
18:56but this is a heck of a debut no it absolutely is and the one thing with jet he doesn't
19:02know lucas
19:03so he doesn't know if lucas is going to continue to respond like he is i mean when jet goes
19:07fast lucas
19:08goes fast and maybe he could do that to other guys and what jet that is and break them lucas
19:13seems to be just steadily there and if jet makes one mistake he's going to close in so because these
19:19guys haven't raced each other you don't know and that's part of the thing the game with the fear
19:25and lucas did get it down to under two seconds at the checkered flag of the first race an hour
19:30ago
19:30and you can see his mechanic jay dungy telling him do not give up keep going for the win yeah
19:35he looks
19:36good at will he does indeed and we saw the two of them him and his brother sasha there in
19:42that um
19:42earlier on in that feature i think i counted maybe four or five times throughout that feature they talked
19:48about this being a dream to race in the u.s and i asked him yesterday why why is that
19:53they they're
19:54leading the mxgps back home they've got their own titles going on right now and they said
19:59we were six years old sitting with our dad on the couch watching you james go forward in a supercross
20:08race 2013 and they said we want to do that at the time they didn't even know there was a
20:12european series
20:13they didn't even ride dirt bikes until a year later so this is all they've known as the goal that
20:19they
20:19want to reach since they were six year old kids and they are so excited when you speak to them
20:25to
20:25finally be doing this full circle james you calling that race for them um it's very special for them
20:30and that's awesome and to know like my age thinking having two kids of my own to be able to
20:36be
20:37here in the u.s but to have an effect on two kids in belgium to be able to change
20:43their livelihood or
20:43kind of what they want to do is is an honor so um all the kids out there you know
20:48that's that's great
20:49these two these two kids are living the dream what they're doing over in europe right now is
20:53phenomenal record-breaking and then for him coming here um really cool so it means a lot thank you
21:00and lucas and sasha will be back for two more races in america later this summer let's check in with
21:05hayden deacon here in third so it got away uh the penalty in the first moto that was a big
21:12one in points
21:12and then that results in a worse start position in this one do we still see signs of improvement in
21:19his third full-time 450 race today yes yes improvement i mean to me this second moto i mean
21:25even though he wrote great that first one this second moto is more impressive to me because it looks
21:28like he figured out whatever he did in that first moto calmed down and he had hunter lawrence right
21:33behind him sasha i mean lucas and um jett they're too far out front but hey he is doing great
21:39jt
21:39he is and you know the biggest difference that i noticed james the first two races the results were
21:44i don't know similar to what we're seeing here today but he was okay with it he was satisfied
21:49he said hey we're going to continue to work we'll get there after that first moto there was no
21:54satisfaction there was no happiness there was no settling there was pure anger that he did not
22:00seal the deal in that first moto that is a big difference in sentiment and it shows you
22:05his target is changing he wants to go in but i think the first two he just realized he wasn't
22:10ready
22:10yet yeah no and that's what we went out there i was like uh-oh uh-oh that's what i
22:15was talking about
22:15his attitude and you can just hear it and that goal post is changing for them and and that only
22:20comes from being able to battle with those guys last weekend he was he was battling with them but he
22:25really wasn't today he battled with these guys and if he can able to get to this uh hold off
22:31hunter lawrence for the third this photo is going to be great big steps for the 450 rookie there's
22:37jet lawrence got the lead up to 5.2 seconds now can he win two weekends in a row even
22:43while rotting
22:44through injury stay with us
23:01go
23:01go
23:01go
23:02go
23:02go
23:02go
23:02go
23:03go
23:05go
23:05go
23:13You're going five and six seconds to last time.
23:50You're going five and six seconds to last.
24:06You're going five and six seconds to last.
25:06You're going five and six seconds to last.
25:10You're going five and six seconds to last.
25:32You're going five and six seconds to last.
25:39You're going five and six seconds to last.
25:56You're going five and six seconds to last year.
25:57But then Prado was actually on this team last year.
26:00He left.
26:00They had an opening.
26:01So they moved March Banks up.
26:03Bit of a slow start to it in Supercross.
26:05Started around into form toward the end and more improvements here.
26:08We've got the red cross flag out.
26:11That means no jumping.
26:12With that rider down being attended to by the FedEx.
26:15And now the race pace resumes for Prado and March Banks.
26:21Both these guys are doing good.
26:24And just like the first motor, Jorge is kind of stuck in that no man's land.
26:28I mean, he has Garrett behind him.
26:30But really nobody in front of him after they made that pass.
26:33Aaron got 10 seconds to Hunter Lawrence.
26:35So got to keep focused with four minutes left.
26:40Hunter Lawrence at one point.
26:42He's three seconds down on Deegan.
26:44Deegan stretched it to about five.
26:48Now Hunter beginning to close in just a little bit.
26:51Four minutes and two laps to go.
26:53Could there be a fight for third before this one is over?
26:56Here is Hunter inching up a bit on Deegan.
27:02Yeah, you start to wonder how much of a chance that Hunter is going to take.
27:08But I feel like this is where the personal side comes in.
27:11You just want to continue to fight.
27:12And every point matters.
27:13And he's going to lose that red plate.
27:15Things stay the same to his brother.
27:17But there's two points.
27:18You just saw it in Supercross.
27:21How, you know, one point manages the whole championship.
27:24Anybody knows how important this pass might be for a long term.
27:27It's Hunter Lawrence.
27:28Absolutely.
27:28Hunter and Ken Rockson went down to the wire in the stadium.
27:31Monster Energy Supercross season.
27:34And this crowd sensing a late battle between Deegan and Lawrence.
27:38And that will be two championship points on the line here.
27:41Difference between a third and a fourth.
27:43Hunter's closing rapidly now.
27:46And we've got to see this all day.
27:47You know, guys make a mistake as Hunter ducks his head.
27:50He's able to close in.
27:52But on this track, closing in on a guy and passing him is another different story.
27:56And as long as Hayden makes these, through these corners, it's going to be hard for Hunter.
28:01They've got to slow down here because that red flag, right?
28:04Cross flag.
28:07And now back up to speed.
28:11Plenty of time here.
28:15Four laps to go.
28:17There's Hutch who's Grant Hutcherson filling in.
28:20I believe it's a mechanic today for Hunter.
28:23And he goes back to work.
28:27Yeah, Hayden Deegan's a smart rider as well.
28:29I mean, we've seen him do the same thing in what Jeff Lawrence is doing out front.
28:33Let Hunter catch it.
28:34You know he's going to be there.
28:35Maybe let him catch it.
28:37You put a push.
28:37Maybe Hunter makes a mistake.
28:39It seems like as soon as Hunter got there, Hayden, take that pace up.
28:42Absolutely.
28:42He's going to try to fight it to the end.
28:44Okay, so now we know Deegan has something left in the tank to dig with.
28:48Hunter does not want to let this go, though.
28:53He was like, what?
28:54Ain't this heavy?
29:11I can't really adapt it.
29:11For two stop I've ever realized that.
29:12didn't move to the middle side.
29:12He All the way, I know.
29:13All the way, we're sitting there.
29:22And then the fr novelty between the 20 seconds of the 20 second.
29:45You
29:46Up now hunter has the option. They did a great job see there was that oh the exotic contact
29:51Got it
29:53Now that pass was set up going down that hill because of that option
29:56But now hunter you better get away. You know that 38. He loves his life. Oh, yeah danger boy. He
30:03likes that type of combat
30:07Hunter locking it down
30:10Great recovery by hunter. He missed missed this run. It's still a good a good job at trying to stay
30:15on the inside
30:17Show you this pass again
30:19You got to see now hunters just a little bit wide now
30:22He's going to set up it didn't think he was gonna have the past
30:24But when hayden had that little hesitation hunter saw that opportunity and he knew he was gonna make contact
30:29And the worst thing that was gonna happen was the 38 was gonna go down hunter lawrence made a strong
30:34pass into that third position
30:36So when you calculate the two races together, it's gonna put
30:42Hunter lawrence third for the day lucas coon in second gent lawrence it out of the wind and the championship
30:47points
30:47You can see on the lower left gent lawrence would take the point lead
30:50But at one point it would have been a nine point gap
30:53It is now six as hunters made a couple of passes gone around blessinger and gone around deacon. Oh, and
30:59just like that
31:00He's done again
31:04Yeah, I was just listening to hate his bike in and the reason that was caused because I believe hunter
31:09knew he wanted to break hate
31:11He's got to pick this bike up and
31:15Here comes throttle and march banks who are still battling
31:18Now, how hard is it to get back up the pace?
31:21Yeah, what hunters got to do is at least keep up or hate behind him right now and maybe take
31:25a break because he knows
31:26Forbes is gonna be where he what where he's gonna finish this moto
31:30Take a break in these one line race sections as he almost goes down again. Wow
31:35That's a tough break. Will
31:37James, I'm looking at this. We've seen this kind of
31:41Back and forth between hunter lawrence and hayden deacon here through both of the motos
31:45They both kind of gotten the better of each other. There's been mistakes. There's been penalties
31:51This is a bit of a mental chess match when you leave thunder valley if you're either of these two
31:55today
31:55Who got the better of who who has the mental advantage now going into the next round?
32:01Well, I mean, it's a hard question
32:02I do believe both of them are mentally strong in two different ways
32:06I just after what happened in supercross 100 to bounce back that first race
32:10I don't think there's anything that could really get to him, you know, and hey deacon
32:15I feel like with him he's gained that confidence
32:18So as I say, it's hard to tell because nothing's gonna change with hunter hunter's gonna be hunter
32:22But hey deacon's gonna gain. How does that play out throughout the season?
32:26I would say the biggest winner today would probably be hey deacon because now you've heard of in between that
32:31moto
32:32Now even though he's gonna beat hunter because hunter goes down
32:35He steals a win, but they still chasing this guy
32:37They still got to figure out that this scenario and nobody has so far this year yet
32:42Yes, that's jet Lawrence up front, but deacon after that first race said he thought jet was looking back
32:48jet knows he's there
32:50Starting to hear the confidence the chirping that deacon is known for
32:55Yeah, and that's why I go back to kind of that that winning of a hate deacon and and you
33:01know
33:01Sometimes you can win without winning and I believe that today is that day for hate now last weekend
33:06He knew the pace with the Lawrence. He says hey got the ride would have got the battle with him
33:10But he knew he wasn't close today
33:12He's gonna go off that first boat. I'm like I could have had him. I made these mistakes the second
33:16moto
33:17I felt like I wrote better end up, you know losing a little bit of ground
33:20So I think there's more positives of if things would have changed
33:23I would have beaten this guy compared to last weekend where he was like yeah
33:25I was there, but I really wasn't there
33:28I feel like he has a better shot going into next weekend in his mind
33:31JT
33:32Yeah, just to add to that thought a little bit
33:34I kind of felt like hayden was better in race one just due to the track conditions
33:39You know, he still wants to be really aggressive with his throttle application
33:43And I just felt like he was a little more equipped for the fight in the first moto than this
33:47one
33:47You know hunter kind of pushed him out of the way there
33:49I think hunter would have gotten away had he not fallen
33:51But some of that I just think is due to the track going away a little bit
33:55And you need a little bit more throttle control in race two and hayden hasn't really mastered that quite yet
34:00on the 450
34:00Yeah, no, I agree. Tate definitely looked more racier like in that first race like he was more competitive to
34:06win
34:07What I was impressed with is that all those mistakes that he made on the track to have better traction
34:11It seemed like he got better this moto
34:13So I don't know if the team went back and figured out some things made some changes
34:16But he looked more just solid and he made his way up hunter was
34:20Definitely gonna get the better of him at this moto, but to me that hate I see an improvement. I
34:26like what I see
34:27things just really they might find a picture of that jet lawrence likes when he sees james white flag one
34:32lap to go
34:33He is outlasted the challenge for the very capable visitor the young lucas coonan who will end up second
34:39And hunter is barely clinging to that final overall podium spot as jets barely clinging to the racetrack there at
34:46the top of that hill
34:47March banks has been shadowing prado the entire race if march banks can make the pass on prado on this
34:53last lap
34:53He will go third overall today and get the stand on the podium and spray the champagne if he can't
34:59make the pass hunter lawrence
35:01will hang on
35:02And well done welcome to america lucas coonan he wasn't able to solve jet lawrence but look jet has won
35:09this is incredible
35:1026 out of the 30 races he has been in in 450 pro motocross so solving this riddle not easy
35:17for anyone
35:17No, it's not but i'm impressed by lucas because you know we talked about earlier
35:22He's winning his championship over in europe and sure as happy as the team or want him to succeed they
35:29don't want any opportunity
35:31Something happens over he gets hurt there's a lot of pressure for him
35:33So he's kind of stuck in a spot to where he wants to race this guy
35:37But he also understands that the last thing you can do is come over and get hurt how do you
35:40race like that?
35:41This kid showed me a lot today very impressed obviously jet lawrence is still next level only get better
35:48But you can't be nothing but impressed by all these guys especially lucas
35:53State of the sport quite good when you've got this type of young talent the lawrence's deegan and now lucas
35:59coonan
35:59Who would like to be able to race this championship full-time in the future?
36:03He certainly showed he could be a contender somewhere down the road
36:07But jet lawrence the story remains the same hurt or not when he is on the racetrack in 450 pro
36:14motocross
36:14He's about as close to unbeatable as you can be
36:18Bringing it home two weekends in a row
36:22He's going to win both motos shows the number one and shows why
36:27Still dominant still the man jet lawrence conquers thunder valley and pro motocross
36:35And lucas coonan in his first pro motocross race in america
36:41Second in both motos very impressive
36:45Deegan is going to outlast hunter lawrence there was a good battle that lawrence crashed deegan will take third in
36:51this individual race
36:53Will likely be sixth overall due to the crashing crashes and penalty in moto one i'm looking at the background
37:00I believe uh
37:02Hunter put it in one last
37:04Charge he was cut the gap back down about in half
37:09There is prado and march banks was not able to get him so that will mean that hunter lawrence is
37:14on the podium
37:16And more congratulations to the young talents the australian lawrence
37:20And the belgian native lucas coonan look at these stats
37:2626 out of 30 in overall wins and 48 out of 60 in the individual race wins look at his
37:31face
37:32Look at his face that's jet lawrence that i saw win last year and i would tell you this
37:36I would be scared if that was those boys the way he won this race a lot different than he
37:41won the other two he believes now
37:44I
37:44Had him on the ropes
37:46But he showed he knows how to counter jet lawrence two wins in a row
