00:45jump out of that game but he got out pulled by younger brother jet lawrence and hunter firing
00:52around the outside that'll set him up on the inside here around web yeah not quite enough they put a
00:57little bit of water on the track in certain spots but um hunter lawrence i've seen this this story
01:02before if i allow my brother to get out front he's going to be hard to beat so i expect
01:06hunter lawrence
01:06is going to try to do everything carefully to get around that number two cooper webb and then shout
01:11out to dylan verandes there in fourth plessinger coming back after a rough weekend last time out
01:17at hangtown fifth and deegan has been shuffled to six but quickly making moves and i mean quickly he's
01:22already around webbing up to hunter yeah hey deegan some great passes getting around his teammate cooper
01:27webb he knows he needs to follow these guys said he learned a lot last weekend right racing with
01:31the lawrence since that first moto he's going to learn a lot today um this first moto as well
01:36coonan is seven and listen to this crowd
01:45well it's the battle everyone wanted to see deacon bringing the hype into this class we've seen huge
01:49crowds at these first three races and there's fans in both directions there's fans that want to see him
01:56get beat and he started with the lawrence so we're gonna see which way it goes yeah hey deegan
02:01definitely is one of the fan favorites out here good or bad but he's doing a great job at you
02:06know
02:06keeping these guys preoccupied as he makes a small mistake right there i think with hate
02:10he's just got to keep the pressure on you know not necessarily trying to pass him at the moment but
02:14just let him know especially with hunter lawrence as he looks like he's going to go on the inside of
02:18his brother right here yeah some struggles for chet so here comes hunter gonna run it around the outside
02:26no room this is close yeah this is really close last weekend i talked about if hunter had the pace
02:33probably jet would let him buy him i don't know if he's going to do that here because hunter's been
02:37fast all day long when you look at that second practice hunter looked comfortable more like the
02:41hunter we saw at the first race so jet's gonna have to do a good job at keeping him at
02:45bay we know how
02:46that game goes battle back here is coonan working on webb for fourth that's in the bottom box
02:54get hunter still battling for the lead wow lucas made some great passes that opening lap he was able
02:59to get around both teammates jorge frotta and aaron flessinger so looks like he's got the pace and
03:04he can get around cooper webb maybe he has a chance while still early to catch on to the back
03:09of these guys
03:12deegan hanging in there with hunter
03:17as for jet lawrence yes he got the win last weekend but i think everyone is wondering
03:22with that foot and ankle injury will it be track to track will he be better some weekends
03:27and not as good as others so you never know in these first photos exactly what you're going to get
03:33deegan looking to take advantage he's all over hunter now yeah hey there's certain parts of this
03:38racetrack that i would say he's not as good in here and this this um part that we just went
03:43through
03:43hayden's able to close in so it's gonna be hard one thing here in colorado with these long ruts it's
03:49really hard to be up on a guy because you can't see as you can see hayden kind of gives
03:53him the gap
03:53i think he's more doing that so he can have that vision because as i mentioned the ruts aren't very
03:58long
03:58easy to make a mistake lucas kunin oh wait a minute prato's back prato on the inside can he make
04:05the move on his teammate for the day and he does uh nice pass by jorge i think lucas oh

04:11and plus oh that's blessing or sorry you're right kunin's moved ahead of this group yeah i talked to
04:17plessinger real quick this morning ribs are sore had a big flick in the first turn last week but he
04:23said man i don't want to miss this one so he's out here maybe not quite a hundred percent hampshire
04:28and march banks coming through decks oh here it is another move by hunter for the lead
04:35got it this time no jet's fighting back yeah jet's gonna have the momentum i don't think hunter's gonna
04:41be able to squeeze unless if he hits the brakes square bob great racing between the brothers and
04:47deegan shadowing them the whole way oh these boys are going that is sorry pops gonna be awkward at the
04:52dinner table right now
04:57and hunter oh i thought he had it but not quite enough jet was able to weather that storm yeah
05:03hunter had that pass but jet had that momentum and he just drag raced him so all this is doing

05:08keeping that number 38 come hey deegan this is exactly what i want and if you look in that background
05:13right there is hate a little far on the inside right there looks like uh lucas kunin that made
05:18his past jt guys i know the battle for the fronts heating up but look at hayden deegan i love
05:23what we're
05:23seeing from him because if you look he has just progressively gotten more and more aggressive black
05:28last week in the first moto was a step forward this is even another he's actually applying pressure
05:33instead of having pressure applied to him yeah jt and this is a tough spot for hunter i'd imagine right
05:39james oh really tough i mean he was so focused on jet and this is the strong side where i
05:44feel like
05:44hayden was really good now we're going to get past this jump the last couple laps they've been able
05:48to open this up but at the same time you see hunter he's got to back it off here it
05:53is deegan makes a
05:54run james looks like he's going to get it but this is off camera hunter should have the outside which
05:58is
05:58going to put him on the inside hunters just got to get through this corner clean eight going around
06:02outside as we say that they're almost getting back on jet lawrence this month unreal racing between the
06:08three hunter around the outside with jet he got oh they almost made contact and that's enough for
06:13digging to make the move that's exactly what you were talking about jason where hunter's in a tough
06:18spot now if i'm hating deegan i'm going to attack jet right now because jet probably doesn't know
06:23it's hayden behind him he probably thinks his uh his brother which means he knows hunter's not going to
06:27like run it in on him hayden deegan will so jet's got to pay attention to that he's going to
06:32hear that 38
06:33yamaha behind and wide open almost three wide over the finish
06:43this is what everyone wanted to see deegan able to make the move on hunter hunter going back after him
06:50now hayden's been really strong on this part of the racetrack so so let's see if he could close up
06:54the jet hunter's losing a little bit of tow which is only going to help hayden dale to moore go
06:59offensive on jet lawrence deegan's got different lines
07:11yeah for the moment they've opened a little gap on hunter so it's jet lawrence can he hold off deegan
07:17who's riding well now we've seen jet in the past i would say this is kind of fool go fool's
07:24gold in a
07:25little bit meaning jet takes a couple laps to get going and once he gets going he starts stretching
07:30this gap out so they understand they got to close that gap on him if i hate deegan as hunter
07:35lawrence
07:35is starting to lose the pace a little bit with these guys there is so much strategy in the way
07:41the
07:41lawrence's race and energy management and when they go fast and when they wait it's so hard to know
07:46exactly what you're getting with wonderful years with jet but he maintains these small leads but right
07:51now he is absolutely under fire here it comes hayden deegan hanging it out almost got it yeah you see
08:00how those lines play out like he gets on the camera angle hayden has it in the beginning part but
08:04he
08:04goes a long ways around and at this point let's let's not be kid ourselves hayden deegan at this moment
08:10like yeah he's in it for the championship but what do you really want to be able to pass that
08:13number one
08:14what that'll do for his confidence moving forward now he knows he has that pace he can beat those guys
08:19and this is the section he's been really strong at oh this is it right now fans loving his action
08:39jt i just watching the mechanics boards there and uh brent hayden deegan's mechanic put breathe on the
08:44pit board i was expecting breathe waiter attack now because i think right now he has a chance to
08:50get in on jet if jet settles in that's the worst thing that can happen to hayden so i actually
08:54kind
08:54of disagree with the mechanics bitboard there well they're playing the long game in their own way jt
08:59i asked his mechanic look they work on a lot of things during the week to adapt to the 450
09:04and i said
09:05but how do you make sure what happens during the week actually happens on race day and he said i
09:10put it
09:10on the board and hayden does read the board every lap a lot of riders do not they are very
09:14focused
09:15on the notes during the week that are made will be on that board and follow it yeah but you
09:21know in
09:21this moment right there i don't think hayden's looking hayden's like breathe we barely got oxygen
09:25up here what are you talking about will that's right it's tough breathing up here jason going back
09:31jason to what you were saying about what they're working on in the week talking to brent duffy myself
09:35today as well so this is a lot about him getting used to the 450 and a lot of that
09:40james is going
09:41to be deciding what gets used he's used to that kind of wide open high rev style of rice racing
09:46that
09:46we have seen him do in the 250s now for many years and getting out of that rhythm of doing
09:52that breaking
09:52a habit as brent put it has been the most challenging thing that he said actually the altitude is going
09:57to
09:58make that tougher so this potentially the biggest test for him james do you agree with that is his altitude
10:03conditions here going to make keeping those revs low tricky for him yeah yes and no but i also feel
10:09like with the altitude because we're at elevation it's going to make the bike slower so it's going
10:13to make him feel more like he did on the 250 so he's going to be able to hang it
10:16out which we're
10:17seeing it and i think hayden's doing a good job as jet throws that foot out because he wants to
10:22get in
10:22this rut now hayden's been the strongest in this last segment he's been four laps in a row quicker than
10:27jet
10:27but as i mentioned jet starting to get comfortable and you can see one corner he's getting that gap so
10:32back to what you're saying altitude yes but i think hayden he's a young kid he wants to go
10:37out there no matter how he gets it done well yeah james you mentioned confidence oh no deegan lost the
10:43back end almost sent it off the side of the track and now hunter's right there yeah it's double the
10:49trouble you got one getting away you got the next one i think what hunter was doing is kind of
10:53what
10:53he did that first moto last weekend sitting back as you can see these little white pebbles on this
10:58racetrack there's a lot of rocks here today so hunters probably sitting back getting away from
11:02that roost letting this thing settle down and try to attack and preoccupy hey deegan at the moment
11:09but deegan quickly able to get back away just a bit up to the top of the hill
11:17do we have enough data already to say that this is an improvement for deegan even over last week
11:22what do you think yeah i mean it's the kid's going to improve every single weekend i mean yes
11:27he's up here fighting and he's been fighting he's the only one really that's been able to
11:31fight these two guys besides the first lap the second moto so lucas is doing a great job as we'll
11:36highlight him right now but i think let's finish let's see how this moto goes that's where it's really
11:40going to play out how much he's gotten better because hayden has the speed he can run up the pace
11:45of
11:45jet lawrence hunter lawrence any lap just whether he can do it over 30 minutes and as for coonan here
11:51solid in fourth did race in america last year at motocross of nations but this is first pro motocross
11:58race they raced in latvia for mxgp last sunday flew to california rode a bit there two days this week
12:05and had to drive the motorcycles out from the ktm shop in california to get them ready to race as
12:12they
12:12say and he's doing well right now back to this deegan about a second off of lawrence yeah this
12:20might we're gonna find out to speed wise on on hey deegan sometimes when you make a mistake and
12:24drop back especially on this racetrack and when you're too close to the guy you can't see so sometimes
12:29those mistakes are made because you're so close um now he's gonna have an opportunity to go but i
12:34believe hate just i think he made a mistake yeah i think he was off the track jt yeah i
12:39was just gonna
12:40i was just gonna uh compliment hayden on the resilience of that lap being able to close back
12:44in on jet immediately goes right back off the race track and we had the same setup we had a
12:48lap ago
12:49where hunter's all over him yet again yeah look like he got off balance one of those ruts i thought
12:54he was going to go down but then we just saw him off the side of the track here it
12:58is yeah we're gonna
12:59get down you can notice all these ruts i'm assuming yeah he starts losing the front end does a great
13:04job
13:04a really good save right there this track is a lot of off camera so the corners are always falling
13:09away from it is hardly any flat ground around this racetrack and once you start getting leading
13:13one way it's easy to continue going that way and once again quickly able to shed the pressure
13:22from hunter to the kid 20 year old two-time 250 champ hanging tough
13:30yeah now this if hayden's able to close back up on jet i think that's the improvement that you'll be
13:36able to see and i believe no matter how this race ends he's able to do that hayden's going to
13:40start
13:40believing like okay i got the pace not only i'm just not hanging with him i'm able to make a
13:45mistake
13:45lose that time and gain it back which means next time i'm in that i'll just calm down a little
13:50bit
13:50let this thing go because i have the pace as you can see him he's starting to make a few
13:54mistakes
13:54i believe a lot of that's coming to him changing his lines track hasn't fully developed but hayden's doing
13:59a good job he's going to have that number 96 on him in the moment if he doesn't get it
14:03going yeah
14:04this has become the yo-yo battle he makes the mistake hunter closed in he pulls away a little
14:08bit makes another mistake hunter gets him again and it is on for second yeah hayden switched his lineup
14:14if you notice he was on the outside now he went to the inside and swearing like that you know
14:20being
14:20a rookie and not really understand i wouldn't say not understanding but really trying to learn how these
14:26guys race because hayden clearly he's still right there on jet but sometimes you get nervous as
14:30the mechanic said you need to breathe calm back down and it's hard to do that when you got another
14:35brother coming up on you putting that pressure on you yeah this is about the closest hunter has been
14:41consistently for about 10 minutes now deep breath since brett duffy the mechanic
14:52oh hunter's applying it now yeah hunter's definitely applying it and i wonder is hunter going to
14:59get a signal from his pit bull because if you look in the background that number the guy in fourth
15:04place
15:04is starting to come up he was the fastest guy on the racetrack right now he's starting to catch these
15:09guys so hunter probably understands maybe i can't sit back like i did last weekend and because i'm gonna
15:15have lucas on me but nonetheless all three of these guys are riding great on the challenging racetrack
15:20it's really this section right here where deacon is able to shed that pressure from hunter just a
15:25little bit top of the last few laps and the 96 able to close back in yeah i think a
15:31lot of that hayden's
15:32got an interesting line right here on the far inside um but sometimes like in that opening part
15:37there's so many rocks here i think hunter's probably sitting back or if he's trying to change up his line
15:43he's not able to follow but as we say that wait a minute he's right back to jet and we're
15:48only
15:48halfway through this photo quick reminder to stock up on monster energy not sure if jet boards made a
15:55mistake or what it was but deacon is right back in the fight yeah that was i mean right back
16:01in it
16:01yeah really really quickly uh yeah we got to catch keep an eye on that well certainly there's always a
16:10concern with chet and the crowd senses this three-way battle on again you're always watching
16:17maybe aggravates the injury you got to worry about that you're going to check in with the monster
16:20energy riders out there you got deacon second march banks up to six went back to eight and it is
16:26about
16:26as close between these three as it was in the first half now this is one area where i know
16:33they're
16:33brothers and they're racing against each other but sometimes you can work together if hunter knows hate
16:37starting to close up on my brother then i need to get up on hayden to keep them preoccupied how
16:42hayden was doing me earlier maybe make a mistake and notice everybody's starting to tighten up here
16:51that's where hayden's been really quick after this finish line so see if he can do that in another lap
16:55in the row oh this is great racing for sure and still 13 minutes and two laps to go deacon
17:04is right in it
17:10there's kunan yeah he is inching up just a bit gap was a little closer to eight seconds now it's
17:16down
17:16to 7.1 will they're doing an incredible job right now jason as he said james i got a little
17:24question
17:24for you here you may not realize how much of an important part you've actually played in the kunan
17:30twins being over here but talking to them yesterday about them describing this as their dream to race
17:36in america they said that that started in 2013 watching you race forward in a supercross race
17:43they thought it was the most exciting thing they'd ever seen and at that point they decided they wanted
17:48to race dirt bikes their dad actually a four-wheel racer so they did a little bit of go-kart
17:53racing too so
17:54i just want to let you know james the fact that they're here we're seeing oh so i will deacon
17:58without
18:00wow thanks thanks for that about a mistake by hayden i'm kind of getting a little choked up that's
18:05an honor that both these brothers are over here and uh they looked up to me so really cool
18:10oh deacon's got another problem and now kuning is five
18:15oh he's going for the lead hustling and now two crashes
18:20yeah that's that's easy can happen the first one he's just trying to push it on a track that's
18:24really slippery and that second one's probably just a little lacks of focus and difficult this
18:29racetrack is but he's still in fourth right now jt guys i i'm a little upset that hayden went down
18:36because i wanted you guys to see this line the next lap at the top of the hill he is
18:40using an inside
18:41and i'm not an ama official so i'm not going to say that this line is out of balance but
18:45he's
18:45dangerously close to being so well i think hunter picked up on it last lap we'll see if he goes
18:50there jet has not seen it when they come around it's at the very top of the hill hayden is
18:55going
18:55farther inside than anybody and i think a couple of track parkers got blown off the track allowing him
19:00to go inside of the berm he was making up huge amounts of time every lap i think that would
19:05have
19:05been the difference yeah that's what i was saying earlier he's got an interesting line up there but
19:12yeah this is on the very top of the hill now watch hayden he's going to go you see those
19:15track markers
19:16laying down now he's able to get on the gas he's on the inside and there's a little a berm
19:21right there
19:22that's a lot of time made up and one of the reasons that's made up is because he has something
19:26to bank
19:26off of clearly he's able to make a lot of time on these guys but the damage done with the
19:34two crashes
19:35fourth and there was so much wondering of where lucas coonan would sit fit into this group man he's
19:41two seconds closer now another half second close to that he's made up over three seconds i'd say the
19:48last two laps no he is coming um he's got a great pace and i think if you notice jack
19:54kind of took a
19:55couple looks back so not sure what's going on if he's looking where hayden is or whatnot and hunter
20:00lawrence i i'm assuming he's not going to sit behind him if he can he's not going to do what
20:05he did last weekend he understands he needs to try to pass him because there's a guy in yellow gear
20:09little throwback to roger da costa coming up right now yeah lucas couldn't on the gas hunter lawrence
20:16this is his time to go
20:25still great racing between the brothers as they try to suss each other out and what makes it so
20:32interesting i mentioned there's so much strategy in the way they race but they also know each other's
20:37strategy so it's even harder to figure out what's happening when they're racing each other
20:43yeah this is a dynamic between brothers uh i'm i'm more curious how jets feeling and willie he
20:51understands that hunters probably has that pace as hunter almost goes down will he hold him up at this
20:57point because clearly hunter has that pace and jets kind of got something else going on but as we say
21:02that one mistake that gap comes but look at that number 104 in the background he is there he is
21:08coming
21:11and i would imagine at this point i don't know if they know that maybe it's on the board but
21:16you've
21:16got a figure they were battling deegan they didn't see 104 he was eight seconds back and there he is
21:24yeah and what's impressive about what lucas is doing he didn't have a toe so they were just far enough
21:29away from him that he didn't have that rabbit to chase so for him to put his head down and
21:33lock in
21:34able to do that now he's kind to see him so it makes it easier as a rider because you've
21:38got that
21:39rabbit to chase he has that pace by just his normal lines oh this is absolutely incredible
21:46now the gap that stabilizes back to 4.1 now 4.6 and again it's so hard to get a
21:53read of what you're
21:54getting out of jet when he's leading these races this race blew by we only have eight minutes left in
22:00this
22:01wow time flies when you're having fun yeah it is four riders really throwing down the lawrence's deegan
22:06and coonan is exactly what the fans wanted to see today
22:13and it is not over because hunter is still there
22:18oh jet look we have to mention the obvious here the foot the ankle injury and these ruts
22:25and this track anytime you see the mistake it almost makes you wince
22:31and i asked jet yesterday we haven't really seen a rutted track yet how's it going to go
22:35and he said we'll see and he's got a fight now yeah he's got a fight and at no point
22:41he's been able
22:42to rest because anytime he does that the guys behind him are able to close so it makes him push
22:46and
22:46what makes this track even more challenging you have all these ruts but if you notice in our screen
22:51there's these light pebbles around the racetrack the tires don't like those pebbles they don't grip
22:55into that so the bike is continuing slotting then you're sliding into this hair comb which makes
23:01it more challenging so injury or not it's easy to get a foot caught out or anything here and i
23:06think
23:06that's what you're starting to see and that's what you saw when hey deegan went down
23:10and now we hear deegan it is under review where he was going inside in that corner
23:17so race control will eventually have to make a ruling on that as four laps click off and it's
23:22still lawrence versus lawrence looking over the shoulder he's gonna let hunter buy it they picked
23:27up the pace a little bit that last lab which kind of bridged that gap to lucas they kind of
23:32stayed the
23:32same lost a little bit of time but man i'm very impressed by this jet lawrence i mean just little
23:39things like that just being able to hop on and they it must be really hard for hunter and these
23:45guys
23:45behind him because they're like he's right there we feel him wounded duck and the next thing you know
23:49he just puts in a quarter of a lap and just gets that gap and it's demoralizing because you're like
23:55i gotta work really hard to get back up to him and i've been calling it micro dosing it's like
24:02a section a corner one little area he just supplies it real quick and just gets that gap again the
24:08amount
24:08of times it has looked like in his career 250 class as well that someone has jet on the ropes
24:14and next
24:15thing you know he's just able to get back away and what happens eventually because he's been
24:19able to do that in his whole career that little bit of micro dosing so when they lose that time
24:23they've seen him been able to just pull away at that point so it's not like another rider where
24:28they feel like they just all right i'll just get back they've seen this story before so they don't
24:32they stop believing because he does it so many times the lap riders here is coon and in that
24:39yellow gear like you said that is styled to look like the great roger de costa a fellow belgian who
24:44runs ktm's motorsports program over here in america one of the all-time greats of the sport
24:51and they built gear to look like his for the 1970s now the one part of with this racetrack just
24:56how
24:57it's set up jet's able to rest in certain parts like this section he's able to rest and i know
25:02it's
25:02really challenging but what's going to happen hunter can't pass him so jet knows that so if he's starting
25:07to feel it a little bit or he's something bothering he knows if i just get through this section i
25:12can sit
25:12down a little bit more gain my energy back to when we get to the open part now i can
25:17fight hunter off
25:18and maybe that's why you're watching hunter close up on these tighter parts every section where it's
25:23a one line they close up on them and then jet picks up the pace on those opening sections so
25:27might just
25:27be the form will they've just been talking about what his new week is like because the guys usually
25:33ride kind of a couple of days a week maybe more than that if they're sort of testing making changes
25:38on
25:38the bike well jet's only been on the bike once a week this is the new pattern and that's to
25:43rest
25:43the foot because what he said is i've got to get back to kind of what i feel like on
25:48you know before
25:49i start racing on a saturday and he's like that just takes time it takes the whole week to essentially
25:53be set so that he's not going through these race weekends making it worse every week but he also
25:59reminded everybody that his fitness face james is there so he wasn't at all concerned that he would lose
26:06that in fact he said actually racing at the weekends is going to keep that fitness space
26:09but his week does look different so it's just more things that jet lawrence is adapting to and yet it
26:14doesn't seem to be changing the results yeah i mean that's a great point will and yeah his fitness is
26:20good eventually if he's not able to ride it really comes down to like bikes that are working on that
26:25and then eventually if you're not able to do it the fitness will come into a point but they've done
26:30so
26:30much work off the motorcycle he feels pretty good clearly he knows how to ride a motorcycle and
26:35being able to ride around these injuries he's starting to get away i think hunter made a pretty
26:39big mistake this might be the moment that if jet puts in a good lap maybe hunter will start thinking
26:45for that second moto since he's not um he doesn't have lucas on the back of him so coonan he
26:51was
26:51closing for a bit now he is about six seconds back nearly seven actually here is deegan we'll check back

27:35did not ride yesterday they opened up a practice session for everyone because with the elevation
27:40the teams always want to get into the press day ride which is usually for a limited number of teams
27:45and riders so teams suggested can you just let everybody ride friday so we can adjust to the
27:51elevation they did that but prado elected not to do it so really haven't seen him much this weekend
27:55didn't get the customary good start a solid ride here in fifth that's the good news the bad is he
28:02lost a ton of points for the bike problem last week came into this one 41 points down and he's
28:10going to need to respond quickly if he has any hope of climbing back into title potential yeah it's a
28:15tough position but i also believe what i was saying about lucas uh that gap got built up between those
28:19top
28:20four so jorge hasn't had anybody to really chase so sometimes that gap looks a lot
28:25bigger than what it actually is maybe if he was closer he might be able to run hey deegan's pace
28:30or those guys but he's not able to see him so now he doesn't have anybody behind him which garrett
28:35mark spanks is running six great job and yeah those guys are too far gone and it is hampshire
28:42flessinger ferrandez and craig in the top 10. jett took a look over his shoulder and a pretty big gap

28:48jt he has and you wonder if that was a concerted effort by jet he turned in almost two in
28:54a row 205 flats
28:55which are some of his best laps of the race i've seen him take a look behind to kind of
28:59gauge where
29:00hunter's at and they talked about this last week jet said i felt an opportunity about halfway to try
29:05to quote unquote break hunter break the will of hunter and hunter noticed it as well and you wonder
29:10if it's a little bit later in this race but if it's happened the last two laps or not oh

29:14definitely has sorry jason uh it has and that's why i went back from jet hunter made that mistake
29:19put in a hot lap and then make hunter just started like all right i'll get him the next moto
29:23he's done
29:24it two times in a row and i know for hunter that's got to be hard because he's been so
29:28close and how
29:29that first race went at paula how supercross has been he's been able to make passes on everyone else
29:34when he's in that situation except for his younger brother the number one which he's going to share the
29:40harbor with after this race it looks like jet is going to make it three straight moto wins as you

29:48to this battle it is plessinger and hampshire it's been a rough season for plessinger both in supercross
29:55and motocross but good to see him digging and still out here they got a little gap over verandis
30:02there he is brandis in the green gear on that red bull trolley designs ducati the team says at this
30:09point they are down to making refinements to the bike not massive changes for dylan in the first year
30:15ducati out here racing for a motocross and the clock is going to expire here jet lawrence could
30:20be two laps away from another moto win wasn't easy but the result could be the same yeah the results

30:26looking the same and now oh hunter how far back is this yeah so this was going down that hill

30:35hate had the interesting line so assuming he's gotten passed by lucas at this moment
30:42that is okay i thought for a second that was uh that was uh verandis and it would have been

30:50further back he is still in second place uh he should be in third place uh right okay got him
30:57yeah well
30:58this could be massive for the overall
31:03trying to twist that bike in the air yeah lorenzo lucercio on the 50. that was a lot broader
31:10we got a little bit of footage of what happened to the 96 this is huge yeah and where he
31:16where
31:16he was picking his bike abs on the tallest point of the racetrack so we got it on the top
31:24wow yeah just got the way he looks looks like he just lost the front end you can see the
31:28marks going
31:29there and all those rocks and mulch i'm talking about it's easy for that to happen those guys
31:34are going but hunters trying to straighten that front end because look at these ruts here can you
31:38imagine going through these things with a fender that's pointing the wrong way that's why it's
31:43important for him to straighten that thing out needs the alignment job and he's only three seconds
31:47up the track from deegan who you can see back there and you know deegan would love to pass him
31:52and there's still two laps to go yeah hayden i'm sure his mechanic probably told him that he's there
32:01hayden's going to put a full-on sprint because this would be another win for him
32:05in the bank if he's able to get back up on the podium and you know he's going to come
32:08if hunter has a bent up motorcycle that's going to make it easier for hayden to be able to do
32:12that
32:13and how about lucas coonan now in second yes he inherited it because hunter went down but credit
32:20to him for being close enough to take advantage and deegan is sending it
32:29that's one way of slowing down yeah
32:34yeah i know a lot of people they don't like him revving a bike but what that's also doing that's
32:40these yamahas are so loud hunter can hear that so sometimes you rev that motorcycle make a guy
32:45think you're a lot closer to what you is and there he is he's right there
32:50oh what a massive change this would be first of all even the third is going to make it difficult
32:54for hunter to win the day overall just lost a couple of points there to a rider that is not
32:59in
32:59the championship included and deegan could make it worse jt we i'm telling you right now if he gets
33:06close enough he's going to use that line which i i believe is out of balance we'll probably hear
33:10more about that later but he's going to use that line if he can get close enough hunter will have

33:14idea he's going to go there and he'll go right by again that's under review that line that deegan's been
33:20using convincing first one's on the podium one's not on the podium yeah there's there's a few lines on
33:26this racetrack that you can see all the stakes laid down and these guys are searching for that
33:30traction but yeah that line that's back up there we will let the ama make the call on that now

33:38as quickly as deegan got though to hunter now the gap has stabilized and the white flag will be in
33:44sight
33:44soon looks like lucas and closed up the jet 1.2 what
33:532.2 seconds on the last lap and again i i'm going to tell myself one of these days not
33:59to fall for it
34:00when someone gets chet boris in their sights but the clock says the kid's got a shot i mean he
34:07was
34:07three seconds faster that last lap so i'm assuming jet was probably just trying to get to the end of
34:12the race yeah he'll pick it up this lap but what this is doing for lucas he's kind of smart

34:17of push him to the end so maybe he's not resting up and starting to recover between the boat if

34:22push him to the end that means he's gonna have to exert that energy the lap router he found that

34:28and they're just trying to they're tired they're trying to do as a middle amount of riding as
34:33possible three quarters of a lap to go there's jet there's couldn't in that yellow gear on the red bull
34:41ktm yeah you see jet take a look back and it almost had a double turn right there quickly as
34:48you see
34:49the bike sliding around this track is very difficult because the tires are always pushing away from the
34:55here on the racetrack and you throw all these rocks and this mulch on it makes it really tricky to
34:59um
35:00and easy to make a lot of mistakes
35:08and the fans have loved every minute of this 30 minute and two lap race because every time the riders
35:15came through that valley there was a battle this time it is lawrence versus tunin
35:23and jet's got a quarter of a lap to go but a tough section right here yeah this this bar
35:28is important
35:28for jet to get through it if he can get through this look at that from tunin came into that
35:33corner hot
35:35no problem he can see the one now
35:41they were close but strong round by the champ
35:44and the expert class in race management kunin is right there but jet lawrence hangs on for a big first
