00:08Il est important, comme un représentant,
00:10non seulement de mon communauté mais de mon pays,
00:12de représenter les Fédérations de Canadiens de 140 000 ans.
00:15Le U7 est maintenant une très importante voix
00:18en description de le G7.
00:20Et donc, de如果你 assurer que le Canada estavané
00:24à l'université de la G7, c'est crucial pour nous.
00:26So a big one is again having our voice, lending more credibility to that municipal, that urban voice at a
00:34national level and so that our needs, infrastructure, the theme of course is resilience but connecting that economic and climate
00:42resilience together, they go hand in hand so making sure that that is conveyed and heard is key.
00:48So for us, it is, we are a coastal town and so climate resilience is big, sea level change is
00:54a huge concern for us. We are going between floods and droughts, fires in Canada, so wildfires is a big
01:03issue for us and as a municipality, as an urban centre, we are on the front lines and so I
01:09think it's that recognition that people are the common denominator so whether it's national, provincial or local, it's the same
01:16person.
01:17And so making sure that as the frontline voice that's heard at the national level and at the international level,
01:23I think is really important for us.
