00:00It's time to go around the entire NFL and dip it in some gridiron gravy.
00:08Dippin' rippin'.
00:09Do you believe that the Cowboys' two first-round picks will come from this list?
00:16This is per Nick Harris.
00:19He said, call me dumb when I'm wrong.
00:21Dumb.
00:22You have to wait until he's wrong.
00:24Okay.
00:25And he's very smart.
00:26I like Nick Harris.
00:26I think the Cowboys' two first-round picks will come from this group.
00:31Mansoor Delane, Caleb Downs, Sonny Stiles, Jordan Tyson, Colton Hood, Brandon Cisse, Chris Johnson, TJ Parker, Keldrick Falk, and Malachi
00:45Lawrence.
00:46I think the list progressively gets less valuable when it comes to positional value.
00:54And you said, is that first two picks or first two picks?
00:57Okay.
00:58Yeah.
00:59Those are good values at 20, actually, on the back half of that list.
01:02If you get...
01:05Johnson rose a lot in this draft.
01:08Like, out of nowhere, people were like, oh, this guy.
01:11You put the film on, put the tape on, watch the guy, and you're like, oh, I get it.
01:15I understand why.
01:17But that list right there is kind of where I am, too.
01:22Some names I would prefer not to be there, so we don't take them.
01:26Such as?
01:26TJ Parker's not my favorite.
01:28Okay.
01:30Alec, do you think Delane Downs, Stiles, Tyson, Hood, Cisse, Johnson, Parker, Falk, and Lawrence make sense as the group
01:41of ten that your two picks would come from?
01:44I do.
01:46I'm intrigued that there's not either of the Miami edge rushers in that group, though.
01:54Yeah.
01:55That does intrigue me a little bit, because even early on in the process, I was hearing a lot about
02:01Reuben Bain at 12.
02:03And now that seems to...
02:05Everybody kind of moved on from that pretty quickly.
02:07And I don't know if it's purely the arm length thing, or if it's just a, eh, we think we
02:13might like somebody better there.
02:14Or maybe he's not there.
02:16Maybe my mock draft is right on 105throughthefan.com, and Reuben Bain goes to the Saints.
02:22I don't know, but I think at least Bain or Mesidor should be on that list, just because you do
02:28need another defensive end.
02:30But other than that, that makes a ton of sense.
02:34Now, let's go to Mike Vrabel.
02:38So, sorry I didn't have a chance to pull the audio on this, but Mike Vrabel talked about some things
02:45this morning, including the only thing anybody actually cares about what he has to say right now.
02:50So, he told the local media that he addressed his players on the Page Six story yesterday, the first day
02:58of the team's off-season program, called the matter, quote, personal and private, but said the principle of making good
03:05decisions, quote, starts with me.
03:07But then, he went on to add this.
03:11You can disseminate this however you wish.
03:15Vrabel, quote, what I can promise you is that my family, this organization, the team, the staff, the coaches, everybody,
03:23our fans most importantly, oh, in your face family, will get the best version of me going forward.
03:32Maybe he's forgotten about the family already, you know, he's like, do you think that is the closest version to
03:39an admission of guilt that you will get, or do you interpret it that way whatsoever?
03:45Man, that is, going forward, the best version of me.
03:49Clearly, there was not the best version behind.
03:52Right.
03:53Yeah.
03:54Yeah.
03:55I do, because I don't, unless she wants to do, like, a tell-all, and the two of them sit
04:03down and do a podcast together, which will be the most listened-to podcast in America.
04:08That would be pretty shocking.
04:11It'll be, like...
04:12Then they announce they're together.
04:13Yeah.
04:15Man!
04:15For Love of the Star, just, we would be like, sorry, guys.
04:19For the one time only.
04:20Y'all were number one, spits and suds number two, but all of a sudden, this one just jumped up
04:25out of nowhere.
04:26So, yeah, I think that, at the moment, that is, it's a very clear admission.
04:34Okay.
04:35I really do think that.
04:36I, that's, that's what I take is, away from that as well, or it's the closest to an admission that
04:43you're possibly going to get.
04:44So, there you go.
04:45Let me ask you a question, though.
04:47Sure.
04:48How much do you care if you're a player?
04:51Not a lot.
04:53Until he pisses you off, and then you're like, you know what, dude?
04:56I'm going to backtrack on that.
04:58Not a lot, unless I'm somebody who's been in his doghouse about decision-making.
05:03There you go.
05:04And then I'd be like, well, at least I didn't cheat on my wife.
05:06Yeah.
05:07And that's, that's got to be a, that's going to be something that I think follows him.
05:12Sure.
05:12With this group and even people that they've added to this team in the future, is they'll always, you want
05:18to try and keep a mysterious but important vibe.
05:22Yeah.
05:22About what you do in most of those situations.
05:26Nambi Matabuke, good news for him.
05:29He's now expected to return after his career-threatening injury.
05:34He had surgery.
05:36Now the hope is that he will play this season after having the neck surgery that he underwent last week.
05:44So, potentially, really great news right there.
05:46Oh, absolutely.
05:47Congratulations.
05:47Mike Tomlin.
05:48He's reportedly set to join NBC's NFL pregame show.
05:53Look, the second he left the Steelers, I know people were like, ooh, he's going to TV, he's going to
05:59TV, and now it looks like that is going to be the case.
06:03I thought he'd just replace Bill Cowher on the CBS broadcast and do that for the next 20 years.
06:09And then McCarthy would eventually, and they would just be Steelers coaches.
06:13Oh, no, McCarthy would be like, he wouldn't be able to.
06:15Oh, okay.
06:16Because it would be 20 years, and then he'd only get, what, three years to be able to do it?
06:20Yeah, yeah, yeah.
06:21You know what?
06:22I'm going to have to go back.
06:24You might not care about this as much, but the Panthers have brought in Will Greer, so there's that.
06:29But I said, is that the closest admission of guilt from Mike Vrabel?
06:35This from Mike Florio.
06:37Mike Vrabel, quote, I've had some difficult conversations with people that I care about.
06:44Now, maybe that feels closer to whatever admission of guilt.
06:50Is he talking about his family there?
06:52I would assume.
06:53Yeah, I would assume.
06:56All right.
06:57Let's go.
06:58What if you did, let's say, my kid's 18.
07:01Sure.
07:01All right, let's just put ourselves in this world.
07:03Yeah.
07:04And then your son was like, dude, she's kind of hot, though.
07:09Yeah.
07:09What would you say?
07:10I would hope I did not raise my son like that.
07:12Yeah.
07:13I would be really disappointed in my parenting at that moment.
07:16And he's trying to high-five you, and you're just like, stop it.
07:19I would call him a dumbass.
07:20And your wife's sitting on the other side of the room like, what is happening right now?
07:23Actually, my wife would probably be like, no wonder you did that.
07:28All right, let's go to the Jets.
07:30And their GM said, hey, don't worry about it.
07:34With the Arvel Reese and David Bailey, the David Bailey cancellation.
07:41He goes, hey, we had some good touch points with Bailey at the Combine.
07:45We went to his pro day, had a good dinner with him.
07:48We were just kind of juggling our 30 visits and how to use them.
07:51I wouldn't look too much into cancellation because there was other ones we may have changed
07:56as well.
07:57Oh, which other ones?
07:58Don't worry about that.
08:00But.
08:00I love that approach.
08:02Do you buy that?
08:03Hey, what's the big deal?
08:05Hey.
08:06I know we have the second pick, and that's one of the guys we were supposedly considering.
08:11Chill out.
08:12Don't worry about it.
08:13Chill out on all the questions.
08:14Yeah.
08:15What are you, the Riddler?
08:16Yeah.
08:18You think you're the media or something asking all these questions?
08:21I mean, I guess so.
08:22And then we go to Justin Jefferson, who just said the truest thing about Kyler Murray being
08:30in the building.
08:32He said he's really looking forward to the playmaking skills of Kyler Murray.
08:39And he has some definitely looking forward to his speed, his quickness, his arm strength
08:42that he's shown countless times over the years.
08:45He continues.
08:46And then for JJ, for somebody to enter that room with that type of ability, that type of
08:51talent, he's got to step it up a little bit.
08:54And I know people are trying to make a big deal out of it, but where was he telling a
08:58lie?
08:58He wasn't.
08:59Both of those things can be true.
09:01Absolutely they can.
09:02But that quarterback right there has underperformed.
09:05Oh, yeah.
09:05And he has a lot of really good abilities within him, but there are other things other than
09:12natural talent when you get to the NFL.
09:15Because as our friend Robert Tiffin said in his piece this morning, Blackwell plays in
09:22the NHL, which means he's one of the best in the world.
09:27And you are too, Kyler Murray, if you're in the NFL.
09:30Now go be the best of the best.
09:32Yeah.
09:32Yeah.
09:33You got Justin Jefferson.
09:34You should not fail.
09:35And then he added, it's all a competitive mindset.
09:38It's about who's ready to step up and take that initiative.
09:41And I think that is just a tremendous quote.
