00:00Previously on Project Runway All-Stars, your challenge is to design a ball gown
00:06fit for a modern-day princess. You'll be visiting a castle.
00:11Seriously?
00:12It's the unconventional challenge.
00:14I hate this so much!
00:15Yeah, let me make a ball gown out of balls. It'll be so fun and beautiful.
00:20It's ripping.
00:21Make sure the end result is fashion-forward, not Halloween.
00:24Yeah.
00:30It's theatrical. There's something very gladiator about it.
00:34I love the shape of it.
00:36It almost has, like, an editorial quality about it.
00:38I get Audrey Hepburn from that.
00:40Yeah, thank you.
00:41The winning designer is...
00:43Stanley!
00:44Yes!
00:46It's incredibly unflattering on your girl.
00:48I'm not mad at you. I'm mad at the dress.
00:50To me, that's neither flattering or fashion-forward.
00:53I didn't want to take, like, the crafty route
00:55and just glue everything onto a bosom base.
00:58You undermine everybody else to make yourself look better.
01:01Like, why would I do that?
01:03Because you do it kind of often.
01:06The designer eliminated tonight is...
01:09Candace.
01:11This is Project Runway All-Stars.
01:22Hi, designers.
01:23Good morning.
01:24This season we are working with some of the biggest brands
01:27in the fashion business.
01:29And your hair and makeup styling partners are no exception.
01:32I'd like to introduce the founder of our cosmetics partner,
01:36Rodial.
01:37Please welcome Maria Hatsi-Stefanis.
01:43Hi, designers.
01:44Hi.
01:45She's holding envelopes in her hand, and that cannot be good.
01:48Dun-dun-dun.
01:50Oh, no.
01:52Yes, I've got an envelope for each one of you.
01:55Please not peers and teens.
01:57Stanley!
01:58Uh-oh.
01:59You won last week's challenge, so you have the honor
02:01of choosing the first envelope and passing out the rest.
02:04Come on up!
02:06Hey, hey.
02:08Thank you, Stanley.
02:09Darling.
02:11I have no clue what's going on, but any man who gives me an envelope
02:13and calls me darling, I'm just gonna take it and just see what happens next.
02:18Stanley, tell us what's inside.
02:20I'm all shaky.
02:21Smokey.
02:23Okay.
02:24Oh.
02:25Amanda, you're next.
02:26Pink diamond.
02:27Well, dang, y'all.
02:28Dragon's blood.
02:30Oh, perfect.
02:3324 karat gold.
02:35Magic gel.
02:36Bee venom.
02:38Concealer.
02:40Contouring.
02:41That's so good.
02:42All right, give me something good, Alyssa.
02:44It's not me.
02:45Ooh.
02:46Illuminate.
02:47It's all me.
02:50Super acids.
02:52Ooh.
02:53Snake.
02:54Ooh, that's so good.
02:55Fabio for the win.
02:56These terms are associated with Rodial's hero products.
03:00They encourage women not to think outside the box, but to imagine there is no box.
03:06Mmm.
03:07I love that.
03:08I do.
03:09It sounds like something a superhero might say.
03:12Oh.
03:13Which is appropriate because that's the theme of this week's challenge.
03:17Oh, that's dope.
03:18That's dope.
03:19I am super into superheroes.
03:20I'm obsessed with everything sci-fi.
03:22Designers, each of you must create an elegant, high fashion look that celebrates your woman's
03:29inner superhero.
03:30No.
03:31Who are we?
03:32You know, I'm not necessarily into superheroes.
03:34I don't actually know any.
03:37But I like how they dress.
03:39Your woman should possess a secret power inspired by the hero products you've chosen.
03:44The winner of this week's challenge will receive a year's supply of Rodial products.
03:49Oh, wow.
03:51Yeah.
03:52This price is absolutely fabulous.
03:53We can use it for photo shoots or fashion shows.
03:56And I can probably even slap my mama a little here and there.
03:59Maria will be joining you in the work room to help bring your creative vision to life.
04:04Then you'll head to Mood with $150 each for fabric.
04:08That's not good.
04:09What?
04:10Just one day before the runway, you better start channeling those secret powers.
04:15So, I will see you tomorrow.
04:17Good luck.
04:18Good luck, guys.
04:19Bye.
04:21Bye.
04:22Oh, we gotta check out our products.
04:27Nice.
04:28Like a baby's ass.
04:29The changes to this gold color on my complexion is so good.
04:33You can tell this a luxury product because you can smell the luxury.
04:36Mmm.
04:40Hey, Amanda.
04:41Hello.
04:42How are you?
04:43I'm very well.
04:44So, who is your idea of a superhero?
04:45It's a tough one.
04:46I'm trying to figure out what this mask's super power would be.
04:50It's pink.
04:51It's diamonds.
04:52This is a woman who makes an impression.
04:54I got dragon's blood, but it says that it's to ball your mind.
04:58So, I'm pulling less away from the name and more from what the product actually does.
05:03My inspiration was Game of Thrones.
05:06Mmm-hmm.
05:07And that ingredient that I've used as plumping and volumizing, but at the same time, it's
05:12edgy and cool.
05:13Snake is a very powerful ingredient.
05:15I would love to hear what your perspective on the product is.
05:18It's edgy.
05:19It's a bit gothic.
05:20Oh, okay.
05:21Gothic and edgy.
05:23Those are really good words that actually incorporate all of my ideas.
05:26Who is your ideal superhero woman?
05:29Powerful.
05:30Doesn't take any from anybody.
05:31I like that.
05:32Okay.
05:33When I think of a bee, I think of power.
05:35For sure.
05:36So, bee venom is a very powerful ingredient.
05:39It's about confidence.
05:40Yes.
05:41Not being shy.
05:42So, you have the 24 karat gold product.
05:44Right.
05:45It has gold particles.
05:46It's lifting, illuminating.
05:48Just from that description alone, I kind of want to do something that's light and airy
05:52and refreshing.
05:53I am so excited.
05:54I cannot wait to see your final designs.
05:57Good luck to everyone.
06:04My superhero takes a layer of the skin out to release the inner beauty.
06:08My look is going to be a jumpsuit.
06:09And I want to play with something a little bit more tailored and flowy to represent the
06:14tough skin and the soft skin.
06:16The super power that my woman possesses that her body naturally gets so hot that she could
06:23inflate those sleeves and fly.
06:25I'm sketching this beautiful ivory look.
06:27You have these gorgeous, voluminous sleeves that are going to be so sophisticated.
06:32So, you going to have her cape falling or you going to have it in the air?
06:35Well, I was thinking if they had fans at the end of the runway could blow it up.
06:41My girl, she's a glam god who encourages other women to appreciate their beauty within themselves.
06:47The silhouette is definitely sexy, but I'm incorporating textiles that will really make it elegant.
06:55All right, 30 minutes, guys.
06:59I want to make the coat out of this.
07:00I don't have enough money, though.
07:01How much?
07:02Can I have $100?
07:03Oh, no.
07:04I'm thinking of a superpower related to a snake, this ability to shed skin and regenerate.
07:09So, let's do that.
07:10Two and a half.
07:11Two.
07:12I'm going a little bit conceptual on this one.
07:13This really fitted T-length dress, I want to create layers that are very contrasting so
07:17you can see this idea of, like, pulling from underneath.
07:20Let me see three yards of this.
07:22Let's do this.
07:23So, this is double.
07:24My superhero power is based on the word magic.
07:27You have a blue one?
07:29And I really want to go with monochromatic color blocking.
07:32I want to create three of these shapes that create the silhouette.
07:35The light one, I want two.
07:37I am not a fan of pink, and I still need to figure out a superpower, but I am designing
07:43an overall skirt.
07:45Totally color-blocked.
07:46Criss-cross straps in the front.
07:48A lot of layers.
07:49A lot of different facets.
07:50That's my play on the diamond.
07:52I ran out of money fast.
07:53I do not have enough fabric.
07:56I know what I'll do.
07:58So, I just grab paint at the end.
08:00All right, guys.
08:01We have five minutes.
08:02Excuse me.
08:03I'll give you $1.88.
08:06Thank you, boo.
08:07Here we go.
08:08It's about to get real.
08:13It's like a reverse overall.
08:19You have enough fabric?
08:20No.
08:21You mind?
08:22Am I having enough fabric?
08:23I'm a little nervous.
08:24I still don't know what my girl's superpower is.
08:28I don't really know how to deal with these colors.
08:31I know it's crazy, but that's the closest thing they had to pink.
08:35You know, it's tricky in a one-day challenge to paint fabric, to make a pattern, to sew a dress.
08:40So, I hope she's ready for that challenge.
08:43I know.
08:44I'm not feeling my best.
08:48I think I'm coming down with a cold.
08:51Anthony's sick.
08:53I know.
08:54It's so tranquil in here.
08:56That wasn't nice, Helen.
08:58It's not an insult.
09:00Last week, Helen had no problem throwing the people under the bus in a public format.
09:05You undermine everybody else to make yourself look better.
09:08Like, why would I do that?
09:11I think that adults who act up in public are no different than children.
09:14I learned how to do the Helen today.
09:16Pick your dress form up, gather all your and go sit at the sewing machine.
09:21I think that she should be dealt with accordingly, and after being treated so,
09:24maybe she would make the fond decision to never make that choice ever again.
09:32Coming up on Project Runway All Stars.
09:34There just may be a taste issue.
09:36I can make a dress out of baseballs.
09:38I can send a look down the runway.
09:40That's not your job to eliminate yourself.
09:42Your job is to believe in yourself.
09:52One, two, three.
09:53The color blocking process is super tedious.
09:57My brain loves it, so I'm letting myself do it.
10:00After I cut out all the pattern pieces, that's when I paint.
10:03And then put them back, and then put them together, and then put them all together.
10:11This is nice.
10:13I purchased a beautiful sequin, and it has this reverse effect where you brush up, and it's black.
10:18You brush down into silver.
10:20How did you afford all of this?
10:21Budget.
10:22Dude.
10:23But I don't want to do the entire gown out of that.
10:25I think it'll be too much.
10:26So I take strips of the sequin along the gown, a little in the front and a little in the back.
10:32Gross.
10:33I hate you.
10:34What?
10:35Because these are beautiful.
10:36Oh, thank you.
10:37I want to do something different, so I want to add the yolk in the front pan.
10:42I'm just going to step out on a limb with this.
10:44This color makes me want to, like, lick it.
10:46Lick it?
10:47Because it's so, like, juicy and so good.
10:50Merlene, please don't lick my fabric, baby.
10:52Hi, designers.
10:53Hi.
10:54So today you're channeling your inner superhero.
10:57I cannot wait to see what you guys have gotten up to.
10:59Let's start over here.
11:00Amanda.
11:01Hello.
11:02Tell me about your inner superhero.
11:03I got pink diamond, first of all.
11:05And I just kind of was taking all these words from the description, like, elevate, energize.
11:10And so I was thinking of this girl that can kind of energize any room she enters.
11:18So, because I love to color block, it means that I can get really crazy.
11:23Yeah, that's great.
11:24Okay.
11:25The color is sort of subtle.
11:26I got really excited about the brights on here.
11:28Yeah.
11:29Just make sure the design in your head is really what happens here.
11:32Okay.
11:33I'll keep it bright.
11:34Good luck, Amanda.
11:36My hero, she's supposed to heat herself from the inside out, and then these voluminous sleeves allow her to float through the air.
11:41Where are the sleeves?
11:42Well, the sleeves are still waiting to be brought into formation.
11:46They're gonna be a satin-faced organza, and I'm gonna drape on the bodice as well.
11:50It looks like a very elegant bridal gown.
11:53It doesn't feel fashion-forward to me.
11:55Okay.
11:56Anne wants to make sure that I'm not designing a wedding gown.
11:59Good luck.
12:00Thank you, Anne.
12:01I naturally don't receive her advice because she has yet to see these amazing sleeves that I'm about to create.
12:07What is your inspiration today?
12:08Okay.
12:09The superwoman, she's very intense, and then whatever comes out of her, it melts.
12:12So basically what I've done here is create, like, a structure bottom so that it'll hold the pieces.
12:17So I actually like this underneath part, but I'm really getting sort of like Star Trek.
12:22Okay.
12:23I love Star Trek.
12:24What actually was a compliment?
12:26But I'm going to switch to plan B and do more of a simpler idea.
12:31Is this one piece or two?
12:32Two.
12:33I love it, Char.
12:34I think you're really onto something.
12:35I want to look like that.
12:36Oh, wow.
12:37My girl turns, like, envious to gold.
12:40Wow.
12:41And I really love the shine of this fabric.
12:44With this shimmery fabric, you've got to be really careful about not going tacky.
12:50Her power is to manipulate any situation for good.
12:54Okay, and that's where the smoke comes in.
12:56It becomes really pretty.
12:57Just make sure it's not just a pretty dress in two fabrics.
13:01My superhero is the single mother.
13:04She's like a chameleon.
13:05That's her secret power.
13:06So I wanted to play with a dress and pants.
13:09Love it.
13:10What I'm actually going to do is attach the pants to the dress.
13:15Okay, I'm afraid that we're entering the world of gimmickry.
13:20I was going to do a jumpsuit.
13:22I am putting these ruffles throughout the sleeve to create the airiness.
13:28This seems like a very you design.
13:31I don't do colors, so I'm trying to step out of my comfort zone.
13:34You know, you have such a classy, subtle elegance to your designs that the color really brings something to it.
13:40This is going to be one of my favorites so far of yours.
13:42Okay, well, I would take that and keep going.
13:44I really like just going literal with the snake.
13:47So my superhero would have the power to shatter skin and regenerate.
13:50I love this fabric.
13:51I love this literal snake.
13:53It's very cool.
13:54I just have to be frank.
13:55Sure.
13:56This underneath, it's grandma.
14:01First thing out of her mouth is I love the fabric, but it looks grandma.
14:05And I feel like that's the kiss of that.
14:07I get it.
14:08You're going classic, but the fabric combined with this cut is really worrying me.
14:13Well, I'll keep an editing eye to it.
14:15Good luck.
14:17I need to take a step back, analyze where I'm going, and commit to making this look really high fashion.
14:23My girl is always about being sexy and stylish.
14:26And her superpower is that she empowers other women.
14:29That's very modern day superhero that she's empowering other women.
14:32I think she looks very covered up.
14:34Okay.
14:35And my worry about sequins, I think they're really fun.
14:37With black leather, there just may be a taste issue.
14:40And be the friend to him you would want somebody to be to you.
14:45And tell that boy the truth.
14:46That cape is and that dress is designed to match.
14:50So it's kind of the idea of concealing the undergarments, but making them visible through a whole caged bodice.
14:58It's beautifully done, but if you're going to hinge the whole thing on this, it's just not a lot.
15:03It's just very small.
15:04Well, lingerie is small as well.
15:07Yes, but lingerie is not a full look.
15:08And I'm concerned about you.
15:10Okay.
15:11Good luck.
15:12Thanks, ma'am.
15:17That's what I think of that.
15:19I can make a dress out of baseballs.
15:21I can send a look down the runway.
15:23And it's challenge five, babe.
15:25Like, we've been through this now.
15:27Like, you know, trust the McKinley magic.
15:31Designers, while most of you have succeeded in creating very elegant looks, elegant is a very close relative of bland.
15:39And I really want to encourage you to find your inner superpower and create a really exciting runway.
15:45Good luck.
15:49Anthony.
15:52Anne said the fabric and the cut makes us look grandmama.
15:55Bitch, I know we're in a competition together.
15:57I don't want you to think I'm telling you to go against what she said, but I don't look at your desires and think grandma.
16:03Ken, Anthony, and I are forming this really tight bond.
16:06Like, every time I've looked over at this dress, I have smiled today.
16:09Because I love them.
16:10Can even call us the sister wives to know husbands.
16:12So basically, we're just sisters.
16:13Pencil it out.
16:14Yeah.
16:15I wore pencil it out.
16:16Uh-huh.
16:17If I've learned anything from doing this two times before, it's that this isn't a place for friendship.
16:23I mean, that's fine if, like, the sister wives want to be, like, buddy, buddy.
16:27But, like, you guys are competing.
16:29We always got the heavy brother's back.
16:36Kim, your critique go okay?
16:37Yeah, yeah.
16:38She's like, it's fashion forward, but make sure it's not gimmicky.
16:42Anne's concerned that my look may end up looking like a gimmick if I add the safety pins.
16:47And I hear that, so I'll edit.
16:49It's an opinion, but it's not the opinion of the world.
16:52Everyone's got one.
16:54Yours go good, Josh?
16:56Oh.
16:58I never know with those things.
17:03Hi, how are you?
17:04I need to try my pants on.
17:06Okay.
17:07This looks good, though.
17:09Awesome.
17:10You know, like, that feeling when you zip up a dress and it's just, like, lovely.
17:16This is gorgeous.
17:19The fit is impeccable.
17:22It's okay to make your sleeves move and shake.
17:25We're ready.
17:26I may not have anything to try on you tonight because it's all still here.
17:33During the model fitting, Amanda's model is just standing there.
17:36That is not a good sign.
17:37She gets too ambitious with color blocking and it's becoming a problem.
17:41I got a lot to do.
17:43I think I like those safety pins.
17:45My model fitting is not going the best.
17:48Did you make a pant or is it just the bottoms?
17:50It's just the bottoms.
17:51Kimberly's look makes me think of, like, My Little Pony with, like, the wide hooves.
17:56I'm pretty sure that's not what she's going for.
18:00Bye, gorgeous.
18:02The work just never ends.
18:07Don't overthink it.
18:09Nope.
18:10I'm feeling really good about where I am, so I'm not going to make a whole lot of modifications.
18:13That look good.
18:15I'm looking at Edmund's design.
18:16It's a superhero challenge and he has a cape.
18:19I'm just a bit concerned his translation is a little too literal.
18:24How's it going?
18:25Pretty.
18:26Good.
18:27I love your colors.
18:28I love Amanda's story, but I really don't like the look that she created.
18:31It's easy to slice into fabric, but I just don't know if that represents what we were asked to do.
18:37I was a little afraid about the painted part, but I think it's...
18:40Nah, it's just right.
18:41All right, guys, we have 15 minutes.
18:49The skirt is done.
18:50That's the biggest part.
18:52I've started the top, but I only have a couple minutes left and I'm not really sure how it will get finished in the morning.
18:59Oh, Marlee, why you eating them so fast, baby?
19:03The brother's sewing room just became my home.
19:05I'm on a mission.
19:06Time is clicking.
19:07I'm sewing the back.
19:08I have to hand sew a lot of things.
19:10There's so much to do.
19:11Yeah, you got it.
19:12It's okay.
19:13It's all right.
19:14Don't give up.
19:16All right, guys.
19:17It's time.
19:18Ah!
19:19I'm worried.
19:20Get your let's go.
19:23Coming up on Project Runway All Stars.
19:26Oh , my zipper just broke.
19:29I want to be so positive about Edmund's look, but...
19:33It's getting real right now.
19:34Marlene, you're just never going to get there.
19:37Oh, my God.
19:44Got a lot to do.
19:45Time has snuck up behind me and slapped me like a bitch that owed him money.
19:49This line matches, but that is like...
19:51Girl, if you don't keep moving...
19:52Okay.
19:53...and get on with your life...
19:55They told you one time that your lines are matching, but now you become a crazy person.
19:58I know. I'm becoming OCD.
20:01I think your dress looks gorgeous.
20:04I think so, too.
20:05I was just gonna say, Anthony, I really love your dress, too.
20:08I don't have to say that, because I've been complimenting on your all.
20:12Never enough, Fabio.
20:13Got it.
20:14It is important in this competition that you do have some allies in the room, if there are people you can trust and you respect their aesthetic.
20:21It's gorgeous.
20:22You that sleeve up.
20:23After an espresso looks like butter.
20:26You so crazy.
20:27Stop complimenting me.
20:29You so crazy.
20:30Hey, hey.
20:31Good morning.
20:32I got heel grips for you as well.
20:35I got the most perfect shoes today from the Intermix accessory wall.
20:38They could go grandma slippers, but they're like grandma on crack.
20:41You know, it's like it's got these ruffles on it and this organza.
20:44It's lovely.
20:45That's so much better.
20:47I really like my look.
20:49I think it's cool and princessy in a weird way.
20:52Such good work on the...
20:55I don't know.
20:56Her look is very true to Amanda and also very different amongst the rest of the designers.
21:02Feel good.
21:04I just need help.
21:06Although this is a competition, if I can help someone, I will help someone.
21:09Anthony, get your ass over here.
21:11Get the stitcher tree on the other hand.
21:13I would never ask for somebody to help me because we're in a competition.
21:17If I get help, I don't think that's fair.
21:23Good morning.
21:24Good morning, Maria.
21:25Welcome to the Rodeal Glam Room.
21:27Maria is a real take charge Rodeal woman.
21:30You need a very strong eye.
21:33That's gorgeous.
21:34Yeah.
21:35Beautiful.
21:36This is the inspiration.
21:37The black, the leather, and the chrome.
21:40A little highlighter on top.
21:41Looks good.
21:42Heaven.
21:44Welcome to the Umberto Hair Salon.
21:46I was thinking like halo braids.
21:48We used the Umberto Conditioning Controlling Spray.
21:50What I really wanted to do was take it away, like completely bald.
21:53I wanted my model to be a representation of people who don't have hair so that they too can feel beautiful.
21:59We can probably use the Umberto controller spray.
22:02We'll flatten it down to a ponytail.
22:03Okay.
22:04And we'll put a bald cap on her.
22:05That sounds great.
22:08I love it.
22:09Looks beautiful.
22:10You know, here we go.
22:12I want to be so positive about Edmund's look, but...
22:15All right, guys.
22:17We have five minutes.
22:18Oh, .
22:19My zipper just broke.
22:22You look like you got a lot of money from some damn weird.
22:25My sleeves look stunning.
22:28And hell, if she don't win on that runway, she already won in my heart.
22:32Oh, my God.
22:33Oh, my God.
22:34Merlene, I see where you want to go.
22:37You're just never going to get there.
22:39It's a slight, elevated, episode one, Star Wars look.
22:43All right, guys.
22:44That's time.
22:45Let's head to the running, girl.
22:46Oh, my gosh.
22:48This competition is really fierce.
22:49It's getting real right now.
22:51My goodness.
22:53Coming up on Project Runway All Stars.
22:56I have to question the condom on her head.
22:58That's something fresh we haven't seen.
23:00It's everywhere.
23:01Every Kardashian, every drag queen.
23:03And that's how I feel about the dress.
23:05Fine.
23:06Oh, I will treat you down.
23:09The winner of Project Runway All Stars will receive a fashion spread of Marie Claire
23:14and a position at the magazine as contributing editor.
23:17An inspiring trip for two to fashion capital London, England.
23:21And luxurious skincare and makeup for their debut show and beyond, all provided by Rodial.
23:26From Intermix, accessories and styling services to enhance their next collection.
23:31From Brother Sewing and Embroidery, a complete sewing and crafting studio to launch their line.
23:36And to elevate their business and build their brand, a cash prize of $100,000.
23:43Oh.
23:44Hello.
23:45Hello, designers.
23:46Hello.
23:47Hello.
23:48Hello, designers.
23:49Hello.
23:50This week, we asked you to channel your inner superheroes with elegant high fashion inspired by Rodial's hero products.
23:58Let's meet the judges critiquing your work tonight.
24:01First, co-founder and designer of luxury brand Marquesa, Georgina Chapman.
24:06Hi, designers.
24:07Next, one of the most iconic names in American fashion, Isaac Mizrahi.
24:13Hi, children.
24:16And our guest judge was discovered by Victoria's Secret when she was just 16.
24:23Having graced the covers of every fashion magazine and runways for every major designer,
24:29this supermodel is celebrated as one of the most beautiful women in the world.
24:34It's Karolina Korkova.
24:36Hi, everybody.
24:37Hi.
24:38Designers, time to unleash your secret powers.
24:42Have a great show.
24:56It's impeccable.
24:57I really love this skirt.
24:59I feel like the paperback waist really just gives it a little bit of fun and playfulness to it.
25:04I love it.
25:05She looks very chic.
25:22I'm totally floored.
25:23I'm just glad that it fits her well.
25:25Because with cutouts like that, it's really easy for them to fall too low, show off too much skin.
25:32I think I nailed it this week.
25:34I love the color.
25:42Yes.
25:43I really love this cape and the light hits the sequin right in the right places.
25:48Just a little peak of skin.
25:50Everything is still covered up.
25:52It is the total vision that I saw from the very beginning.
25:55I feel really good about this look.
25:56I love the flow of the fabric.
26:09I love how the stripes are working well together.
26:12It just seems like something that's really easy to wear, but it also has a bit of sass.
26:17I'm loving this design.
26:20So badass.
26:21Yes it is.
26:34I am pleasantly surprised.
26:36I really love it.
26:37I really love my use of the print so I was able to get the solid into the floral and then the complete floral on the pant leg.
26:43I thought that was a really nice touch.
26:46I can see Rihanna wearing it.
26:47Yeah.
26:48Oh yeah.
26:53Great shoulders.
26:54I love the silhouette of the girl.
26:57I love the shoulders, but I zoom in and I can see like one fourth of the line is like not together.
27:06I'm like, they're so gonna get me.
27:13It's just floating.
27:14I mean, it looks like it's floating down the runway.
27:17The silk overlay makes it look a little bit more richer, more sophisticated, more elegant.
27:23I'm loving the job that I've done this week.
27:33She's shiny.
27:34I commend myself for doing something a little bit different for me.
27:39But it still has my stamp on it.
27:41I really love the angles of the color blocking.
27:44I love the story that the skirt tells.
27:47I think I did okay.
27:48So you, Joshua.
28:01This week, I'm really hoping that the judges take notice of this look.
28:05It looks unlike anything else that's on the runway.
28:08It's lingerie inspired.
28:09This is a sexy look.
28:11Do I have to send a nude model down the runway to get noticed?
28:24Did you have the same amount of money as me?
28:26Yes, I did.
28:27There's a dramatic simplicity about my look.
28:30It is very obvious that she takes a bit of attention in the room.
28:33I told myself this time around in this competition, I was going to make myself proud of myself.
28:39And I have most definitely held up my end of the bargain.
28:42I love the way the sleeves are moving and the movement in the pants and the color.
28:54It's a very bold graphic color and I love everything about it.
28:59If I call your names, please step forward.
29:15Edmund.
29:17Amanda.
29:19Ken.
29:21Anthony.
29:23Marilyn.
29:25Fabio.
29:27The rest of you are safe.
29:29You can leave the runway and wait in the backstage lounge.
29:35Designers, one of you is the winner of this week's challenge.
29:38And one of you will be eliminated tonight.
29:45Fabio, you're up first.
29:46Tell us about your woman and her secret power.
29:49My inspiration was a snake.
29:51My superpower, she has the ability to shed and be a new person again.
29:55I really love your choice in textiles.
29:57The cut of the top I think is very modern.
30:00Honestly, I think this is just gorgeous.
30:02It is so dressy and also like very casual.
30:06She could go anywhere in that.
30:08I love the fact that it has pockets.
30:10Can you take the volume skirt off too?
30:12Is that an option?
30:13Yeah, totally.
30:14Oh, that's great.
30:15I love things that can transition.
30:17Nobody does proportion like you.
30:19Really innovative and yet still wearable.
30:23Good job, Fabio.
30:24Thank you so much.
30:25Marlene, you're up next.
30:26My secret power is she has this liquid that comes out of her pores
30:30and her eyes and everything that touches melts.
30:32The proportions just aren't quite right.
30:34I really like the proportion.
30:36You've got these two straight wonky seams down the front.
30:39I like how clean and modern it is.
30:41I do agree with Georgina.
30:43The waistline isn't straight.
30:44The front lines, they've got to be perfect.
30:47I think if this was the first time I had seen you do this shoulder,
30:51I would be super, super impressed.
30:53But because I've seen you do this shoulder before,
30:55I'm a little disappointed.
30:57I knew that that was your dress the minute I saw it,
30:59which was both good.
31:00Good and bad.
31:01That seaming is very Marlene.
31:03You know, a seam across here, a seam at the waist,
31:05those two princess lines, it's kind of getting a little repetitive.
31:09Anthony, you're next.
31:11My product was called Dragon Blood,
31:13so I decided that my woman's, her secret power would be
31:16that she could heat herself from the inside out
31:19with these balloon sleeves and float away and fly.
31:22Will you make me this dress?
31:23I love this dress.
31:26I love that you have her entire neck open.
31:29Tell me what you did to the fabric,
31:30because it's very hard to find a fabric that would behave so nicely in volume.
31:35I kind of really just took my time and molded it and scoped it.
31:38I, like, can't believe you achieved that neckline in such a short time.
31:43The back neckline on that thing, man, that is, like, pretty damn masterful.
31:47How is it underneath? Like, how?
31:49Uh-uh.
31:50What? Like...
31:51Uh-uh. Let's not look up under the bed.
31:55Thank you, Anthony.
31:57Hi, Amanda.
31:58I was initially inspired by the pink diamond lifting mask.
32:02I typically don't use pinks, so I just, I kind of wanted to push myself.
32:06What was the secret power?
32:07That she reflects all the goodness in the world and makes people happy.
32:11Hmm.
32:12I want to come up there and just, like, pinch out about two inches on her waist and, like, oh, my God, oh.
32:17So much better. Yes.
32:18What a relief.
32:19I'll hold it the whole time.
32:20What a relief. Now, that is such a relief.
32:22There's a lot of lines going on the top and not necessarily all working together.
32:27This fabric, to me, feels more appropriate for making curtains.
32:31It feels very weighted and heavy and a little sad.
32:36Thank you, Amanda.
32:38Ken.
32:39My superhero believes that the beauty of the beholder comes from the person within,
32:43so at one glimpse of her, she penetrates the soul to where the flesh completely disappears
32:48and your inner beauty shines through.
32:50I don't know what you were saying, but anyway, I love your outfit.
32:54I love the sleeve.
32:58I do think you've got a couple of issues on the cuff there.
33:00It's very humorous for you, Ken.
33:02It's scary.
33:03I am completely out of my comfort zone.
33:06I have to question the sort of condom on her head.
33:10Well, my only thing with that is there's someone that's watching this that doesn't have hair.
33:14So I wanted to do something a little bit different to show beauty.
33:18Okay.
33:19I get that.
33:20I do wonder about the randomness of bringing a bald cap into this.
33:25It doesn't scream superhero to me.
33:28Honestly, I didn't even notice the bald cap.
33:31I swear to God, because I was looking at the clothes the whole time.
33:33I really like the Ken that is unsure of himself.
33:37Your last finale collection last year was so well made, but you did not win because you played it so safe.
33:44Safe, yeah.
33:45So just keep that in mind.
33:47I've been listening.
33:48Thank you, Ken.
33:49Thank you so much.
33:50Edmund.
33:51The inspiration was the rodeo contouring.
33:53My woman's secret power is giving confidence to those who are unaware of what they're capable of doing.
33:59I would not have shown that cape, merely because I've seen it so many times.
34:03Can we see without the cape? Thank you.
34:05The dress to me just didn't feel fully resolved.
34:09What I did like is where you started to play with the idea of putting the sequin back into the fabric.
34:14Let's say you did the cape.
34:16I don't like the fabric choice, and it also doesn't go with that dress.
34:20The cape's my favorite part.
34:22Awesome.
34:23My problem with this is that I feel like I've seen the silhouette of this dress before.
34:28And you haven't seen that cape before?
34:30Not done in black leather.
34:31I mean, it's everywhere.
34:33Every Kardashian, every drag queen, everybody has a cape that looks like that right now.
34:38And that's how I feel about the dress.
34:40Fine.
34:41I can't wait for this.
34:43Oh, I will trick you down.
34:45I'm gonna get you.
34:46Thank you, Edmund.
34:48Thank you, designers.
34:49The judges and I will now deliberate, and we will call you back soon.
34:58Hey.
34:59I don't know what these faces mean.
35:01Sister wives are in the talk.
35:02Ken, what'd they think of your look, the whole thing?
35:04Yeah, with the cap on and everything.
35:06Georgina did not like it.
35:07She referred to it as a condom.
35:09I thought I was trying to do something different, but I kind of made the same mistake.
35:16So that I don't think bodes very well.
35:18I know it's gonna beat me, so.
35:20You don't know that.
35:21It's so true.
35:22I've been in the bottom twice.
35:24I've been in the bottom twice.
35:25Me too.
35:26Eliminate yourself.
35:27That's not your job to eliminate yourself.
35:29Your job is to believe in yourself.
35:34I thought we saw some really strong looks today.
35:36We did.
35:37The quality of work that's coming down this catwalk now is really, really good.
35:41Let's start with the highs.
35:43Fabio.
35:44I thought he was perfection.
35:45The last word I would think of is superhero.
35:48And yet, it does speak about strength and versatility, which I know you like.
35:52Love the fact it had the pocket.
35:54It just felt very effortless.
35:56It was very chic.
35:57And how great is it that his inspiration was the word snake?
36:01And he didn't take it too literally.
36:03I love the way he thought about this.
36:08I love that this was from Ken.
36:10Me too.
36:11To see this kind of flowy softness from him and volume.
36:15Yeah, but it didn't work perfectly that look.
36:17No.
36:18No.
36:19It really didn't.
36:20When it's stood in front of us, we can all see it with the shoulders.
36:22It disintegrated in front of me.
36:24And there was the bald cap.
36:25That was just a desperate reach for something.
36:27So Ken is safe, but not a winner.
36:30I don't think he should win for this.
36:32No.
36:35I want to talk about Anthony's dress as well.
36:37Anthony is on fire this season.
36:39Oh, yeah.
36:40Mm-hmm.
36:41The neckline, so pretty.
36:42Both necklines, front and back.
36:43Front and back.
36:44Major.
36:45I did like the extreme big balloon sleeves.
36:48To me, that's something fresh and we haven't seen.
36:51Okay, I have one really annoying bitchy question.
36:54Is that, like, too pretty, that dress?
36:56You can't say something is too prushy.
36:59You are too pretty, okay?
37:01You are way too pretty.
37:05Let's move on to our least successful looks of the week.
37:09I would not like to see Edmund go home.
37:12Really?
37:13I mean, there are things about this that I really love.
37:15I just don't like the cape.
37:16I really like that cape.
37:17I hated that cape.
37:18I thought it was the most interesting thing about it.
37:20I feel like I've seen that dress a million times.
37:23The cape was so heavy.
37:24It was like lead.
37:25Who puts a cape like that with a dress like that?
37:28That thinking really worries me.
37:33Amanda.
37:34I don't think this textile was worth the time that she put into it.
37:37No.
37:38And there were so many lines going on.
37:40I don't necessarily want to wear Amanda's dress.
37:43It looks like her great aunt made that dress on some farm in the middle of nowhere.
37:47In 1974.
37:48Yeah, exactly.
37:49There is no nice way of saying that.
37:51You know, that dress is just bad.
37:53Marilyn.
37:54Weird.
37:55She couldn't see.
37:56She could not see what was wrong with her dress.
37:57I just feel like we've seen it from her.
37:58We have seen it.
37:59We've seen this and we've told her what was wrong with it already and she still did it
38:00again.
38:01I feel like she brought a faulty pattern that has one part of the waist that goes down with
38:14her.
38:15You know, seriously.
38:16I also don't like that seam right in the middle of the boob.
38:18No.
38:19No, and she did it again.
38:20Yeah.
38:21It's the second time.
38:22She's a great thinker.
38:23I think she has a lot of potential but today was just very disappointing.
38:30So we've made our decision.
38:32Okay.
38:33Let's bring him back out.
38:34Designers, one of you is the winner of this week's challenge and one of you will be eliminated
38:46tonight.
38:53Ken, you did a great job and you are safe.
38:56Anthony and Fabio, one of you is the winner of this week's challenge and will receive a
39:06year's supply of Rodial products.
39:09And that designer is...
39:16Fabio.
39:23Congrats to you and well done, Anthony.
39:25Anthony.
39:27You can leave the runway.
39:28I'm actually really relieved.
39:29I was so worried on the runway.
39:31Hi, friends.
39:36Thank you, Rodial, for years of fun makeup.
39:38It's a good feeling.
39:41And now to the least successful designs.
39:43Edmund, you had a low score but you are safe.
39:51Amanda, you spent so much time making a textile that you didn't really
39:54focus on the rest of your dress.
39:58Merlin, you gave us yet another version of a fine dress.
40:03But at this stage of the competition, fine just doesn't cut it.
40:07The designer eliminated tonight is...
40:08Amanda.
40:09Which means, Merlin, we will see you next week.
40:24Amanda, thank you for joining us on All Stars.
40:37I appreciate all the feedback.
40:38It's really going to help me.
40:39You're so great.
40:41You're great.
40:45Take care.
40:47I'm just so bummed.
40:49You know, just failing sucks.
40:54No.
40:56I really think this is like one of the greatest All Stars ever.
41:00It should make me feel better that, you know, the competition was so high.
41:05But it doesn't.
41:06It still sucks.
41:08Bye beautiful.
41:09Bye gorgeous.
41:10Bye.
41:13It really is more about what you do when you fall.
41:17So, I really want to make sure I learn from this.
41:22Next, on Project Runway All Stars.
41:28Betty Boop.
41:29Hi, Project Runway All Star designers.
41:34Betty's not going to wear a dress that looks like a tissue that you blew your nose in.
41:38Why are you making a maternity dress?
41:40It's not finished, Ken.
41:42What you were able to do is just absolutely beautiful.
41:46Young and chic, we want to see it every week.
41:49She's all about fast waste and ass and you're not getting any of those things here.
41:54The front of it almost looks like saggy balls.
41:58How do I follow that?
41:59Wow.
