00:00There was once a long period of time when powerful kings ruled across the continent of Europe.
00:08Yes, reigning specifically by the divine grace of God.
00:12And of course, it was believed that God would never have sent a bad or unjust ruler to his people.
00:19Simply because God himself is the definition of absolute and eternal good.
00:24Furthermore, if any single one of those individuals were to misbehave,
00:28it would become abundantly clear to all the people that he certainly could not truly have been sent by God as a divine messenger.
00:37So, that was a self-appointed, illegitimate ruler who seized power,
00:43and the people believed they had the inherent moral right, if not the solemn duty, to resist someone like that.
00:51Accordingly, such rulers were repeatedly and violently overthrown,
00:56then literally carried to their final graves on the ends of sharp pitchforks.
01:02And eventually, the modern system of democracy was finally introduced to the people.
01:08Now, I'm not a big fan of the dictatorship of the majority.
01:14You probably already know that.
01:16But the remarkably positive development was that the intense and ongoing struggle for political power
01:24was no longer occurring or manifesting itself in the streets with weapons,
01:29and thus with a lot of unnecessary bloodshed.
01:33But rather, it took place within the halls of parliament
01:36through the strategic use of eloquent words and debate.
01:40And how do things stand today?
01:43In the current political climate today,
01:46I constantly keep hearing and reading various loud demands for a total ban on the AFD party.
01:53Well, to be perfectly honest, I personally don't like the AFD either.
01:58Primarily because it functions essentially as a social democratic party.
02:02And I have never really liked social democrats in general.
02:07But at this particular point in time,
02:10unfortunately, it is the sole remaining major opposition party currently in the German parliament,
02:16and it has approximately one full quarter of the entire population,
02:22the eligible voting population, standing firmly behind it.
02:26So, the potential legal prohibition and banning of the AFD party
02:34would ultimately mean the absolute end of democracy as we know it.
02:39Yes, a peaceful and democratic transition of governmental power
02:43would then no longer be possible through a standard democratic election process.
02:50That means the sole remaining alternative and final course of action left for the common people
02:57would be a revolution.
03:00A violent, chaotic, and inherently bloody revolution.
03:05And accordingly, it seems that absolutely everyone who currently wants to ban the AFD
03:11is effectively calling for a full-scale civil war.
03:15You know what? I've already experienced and survived that.
03:22And I'm warning you against it.
03:25It won't be pleasant, it will be terrible, and that goes for everyone.
03:32Listen to me, guys. Please do not do that.
