00:0023 seconds. Oh, call it in Ash if you like. So 20 seconds to go. Can they hold on here?
00:06The pies, they're going to get a free kick. No, the dogs are getting it. They've got 15 seconds of
00:13dogs to break the hearts and he's called them back. Oh my gosh. I think the magpies are going to
00:20hold on. There's 5 seconds, 3, 2, 1, and 50 metres. Oh my god.
00:28Oh my god. You could not. 50 metres. And I think the siren's gone. Is the siren gone? Yeah, the
00:37siren's gone. Oh wow. You could not script this any better. What a moment. 50th anniversary celebration. Seb Thomas. Sebastian
00:45Thomas. The siren's gone. Wyoming lead by one point. Seb Thomas needs to kick this goal to win the game.
00:52A point makes it a draw. Thomas. It looks great off the boot. It's a draw.
00:58Can they keep it? That can't come out. Wyoming lead by one point. Wild Lakes hold on. And they won
01:03it on their 50th anniversary. Simon Smythe and all the boys at Wyoming Lakes, I am sorry.
01:11I'm going to officially apologise. I tipped against you. And you boys have been sensational this afternoon. They were leading
01:20at 20 points at quarter time.
01:22Warners Bay came back and led it by two points at half time. At three quarter time, Wyong got out
01:28to an 11 point lead. They huffed and they puffed the dogs. But the Wyong Lakes boys didn't let them
01:35in.
01:35And they wouldn't let the house down. And I tell you what, they're going to celebrate tonight, Corey Hopper. They've
01:41won by a point.
01:41Ashborg, that's one of the most courageous victories I can remember. Wyong Lakes, back in Black Diamond Cup, after a
01:50number of years competing well in the second grade division, they have struggled to stay competitive for the best part
01:57of the season.
01:58But believed in what they've got going on here. Get their first win in round seven last week. And here,
02:05come out in round eight with premiership hopefuls and contenders here, the Warners Bay Bulldogs.
02:10And to hold on to that margin after blowing out to a five goal lead in the beginning, it would
02:17have been easy to see them say, well, we've done well here and not be able to hang on.
02:20But that was just clawing and hanging on for dear life. And they've done it. And it is a stunning,
02:27well-deserved victory to the Wyong Lakes Magpies.
02:30One of the most famous in clubs history, one would imagine. Hard goes out for the Warners Bay Bulldogs, who
02:36effectively kicked themselves out of the contest with 19 behinds.
02:39And I'm sure they will address that.
02:41We're just going to wait here for Andy Baldwin to officially wave off the flags.
