00:00My name's going to be there forever.
00:01Something we're going to be so proud of.
00:02And, you know, to be a part of that, such an exciting day for me
00:06and hopefully for everyone involved with Tasmania
00:08and the Tasmanian people because I'm now a Tasmanian.
00:12What does success look like in your tenure as a coach of Tasmania?
00:15Yeah, it's going to be a build, Tom.
00:16There's no doubt about that.
00:17It'll be an absolute build and it'll be, you know,
00:19one that I'm aware of because having done the three years at Gold Coast,
00:22I know the challenges.
00:23I mean, the challenges, yeah, they're going to be there
00:24and we're going to ask everyone in Tasmania to be with us
00:27all the way through and experience the challenges.
00:28There's going to be them in year one and year two
00:30and year three at different times.
00:32But we look at the concessions that we've got
00:33and the opportunities that we've got right in front of us now.
00:36If we get them right, don't be surprised.
00:39We'll come pretty quick and we'll come really hard.
00:42So, you know, it's going to be good fun.
00:43I'm really clear going into this process about the qualities
00:46that we wanted in our inaugural coach.
00:50And Ken, with his approach, his character and his experience
00:54really fitted that bill.
00:55I guess specifically, we love the focus that Ken had
01:00on player development, the teaching first philosophy.
01:04He's a great connector and that's going to be hugely important
01:08for us as we bring together our first playing group,
01:11but also a great connector in terms of bringing this state together
01:14behind our football club.
