00:00There's deep disappointment within the club and what has occurred and we know that many people are hurting and we
00:08are providing support to our players, to their partners, to if they think what we can.
00:14Our players, Riley Bice, Nick Lakey, Isaac Heaney, James Jordan and Shabba Warner will now not be considered for selection
00:22for the remainder of the 2026 AFL season and that's including the final series.
00:27So we've been working very closely with the five players involved, with the AFL who are supportive of this approach
00:34and so too we've been chatting a lot at length with the AFL Players Association.
00:39We arrived at this sanction after our own internal inquiries with the five players and other parties.
00:45We're deeply embarrassed and ashamed that our board choices or the board choices of five of our players and the
00:53impact that's had on the women involved and also the club, our supporters and so many other people that Andrew's
00:58talked about.
00:59But as I've said, it's important to understand that this sanction is only as it relates to the players' behaviours
01:05and the standards that we accept and we're expecting of them post-game.
01:12There'sations that are created in the Emerald Players Association.
01:14Thank you for this.
