00:29We made it really clear to his manager and to Nick around his contract status and his value.
00:34We probably got a good indication mid last week to late last week of how serious it was.
00:41And from then the discussions progressed around what's best for Nick and what's best for our footy club
00:47and in the end we decided a fresh start for both club and player was the best thing.
00:51I won't go into specific details, we just couldn't satisfy their needs, unfortunately.
00:57I guess we sit here now, we get three of our four deals done, we've improved our list,
01:01which is a really good thing for us for not only the short term but the longer term.
01:04So, yeah, we sit here, I guess, at the end of the trade period pretty happy.
01:09I feel for Jaden a bit because he's the one that misses out on this as well.
01:12Yeah, I've spoken to Jaden. I think he's already been fined in the group chat for requesting a trade and
01:18not getting to the club that he wanted to go to.
01:19But, yeah, he's spoken to Adam. He's spoken to myself.
01:25I think he's already booked to go into the club tomorrow and get the ground running.
01:28We're excited to have him back. He's a much loved member of our playing group.
01:32He's played a really pivotal role through our successful period and he's fully committed to the club going forward.
