00:06and enjoyment might have been predicated on my mental state of the time were the Philly fans
00:14who were furious with me about my my beatdown of them on Friday's show and then the Jerry Judy
00:21TikTok and then Jerry Judy's reaction to people reacting to his TikTok live comments
00:28the Jerry Judy TikTok live video I have I have a hard time getting too far in the weeds with
00:36simply because about halfway through right around the time that the question is asked
00:40who do you want to see start a quarterback and Jerry Judy holds up the number four
00:45there is a jump cut in the thing I thought so too yeah and I so it's like I can't
00:50come out here and
00:51be like Jerry what are you doing when I think the video was clearly manipulated and I don't think
00:57that's fair to Jerry and I know he was bad last year which is why this blew up if Jerry

01:02off a thousand yard season like he was last offseason I think this is a complete non-story
01:06all right but the watch story or the watch post is real though correct uh yes I mean that one

01:12it's him and Deshaun Watson holding up their watches in almost a uh wrist up fashion oh does
01:17the Shador hive they didn't comment on it this was this was my own brain being like and I'm surprised
01:22I was surprised more people I'm surprised more people didn't comment on it to be honest because
01:26I I kept waiting for that to be the comment but yeah it kind of looked like it was almost
01:29like a
01:29wrist up motion and mockery of Shador I I so I I guess my thing was is I guess I
01:36don't put a lot
01:36into the TikTok video the thing I'm probably more interested in is is the response to it which felt
01:43like a lot more of what we had with Jerry last year where Jerry kind of seemed to be lashing
01:48out the
01:49media or even occasionally on social media which is a theme of his by the way going all the way

01:54to Denver like like Jerry loves attention I think and Jerry also loves controversy I I think I think
02:00the controversy feeds him in some ways I I don't think you're wrong and I and again like I don't
02:05know what's real and what isn't because I still don't think you know going on year three I still don't
02:09know that we really know Jerry because last year went sideways and because I mean even the initial
02:15reaction to the trade was outsized for what effectively was a pick swap which which uh
02:20Andrew Barry's done forever but is a pick swap and then you paid the guy right you paid the guy
02:24he'd never played it down and you paid him but like in a bronze uniform that is it's so funny

02:29really just want to throw the TikTok live video out because of the jump cut but then his reaction was
02:34like man if that's it you can do that stuff if you're performing but coming off a 400 yard season
02:42with a new head coach who I think while Todd Munkin has given everyone a fair shake if you
02:48think Todd Munkin who is an old school guy isn't thinking to himself you know if somebody steps one
02:53foot out of line and they're not maybe consequential to the plan there'll be a good fall guy for the

03:06Judy all over again so I I just I kind of feel like Jerry is I I again I don't

03:14with Deshaun Watson we only go off of Instagram right but I do feel like he's got a relationship
03:18with Deshaun I I almost wonder if he and Deshaun are having this it's not a revolt against the young
03:22guys uh but this is like a hey we've both been in the league for a long time we've both
03:26seen some
03:27things I I almost wonder if like Shador has the Denzel Boston and Concepcion and the young guys
03:33you know we all hang out over here and we do this and on the other side of it is
03:37then
03:37oh it's Jerry Judy and Deshaun Watson who are close to the same age who have been in the league
03:42been in
03:42Pro Bowls have done a lot of the same ups and downs in their career I just wonder if they
03:46just relate
03:47more together with each other yeah and and I do think like I think part of where Jerry wasn't happy
03:52last year and I don't know that it had anything to do with Shador specifically but that you know he
03:58was
03:58on his third quarterback by week 11 for a guy still trying to make his career in the NFL which
04:03is something it feels like every Browns receiver in the previous few years we always go through this
04:07we're going through this with said Tillman right now too same thing and in once how do we judge these
04:10guys I don't know once Jerry started with the with with the drops should door started to maybe look
04:16away from him and more towards guys he could trust looking exclusively at Harold Fannin Jr right yeah
04:22and so like I just I don't think it's the biggest thing if Jerry is more in pocket or more
04:29in line
04:30with Deshaun given everything you mentioned and given that last year was a specific way that it
04:36wasn't good for Jerry and I don't think that helped his relationship with Shador either so that's the
04:41part that I find really interesting though is is it is it because he feels like he's locked out from
04:46Shador Sanders and he's going to be he's going to be iced out and there's a new chance with someone
04:50like Deshaun or does he feel like like if I was Jerry Judy if I felt that way that's one
04:55thing
04:55but uh I would be rooting so hard for the person that's going to be the best passer the one
05:00that's
05:00going to make me look the best I wouldn't even care about personal feelings or anything else like
05:03you're at such a dire point in your career you just need to get catches you need to get receptions
05:08but I think that's what camp is about like it so much of what has happened to this point if
05:13we're
05:13just talking about a relationship between a wide receiver and a quarterback what realistically could have
05:19changed from the end of last season if Jerry felt some sort of way about the way the situation had
05:24gone and maybe how quarterback play impacted his career what conceivably could have changed through
05:30a couple weeks of OTAs in camp nothing you know so like if we get uh let's say we get
05:36three weeks
05:36into camp and they're close to a decision and this had happened I think the timing of it would have
05:42been a okay that's that's one of the more important guys in the offensive offensive side of the ball
05:47making his preference known I think because we're before camp where guys haven't really had a chance
05:53to work together and you haven't you haven't seen him with pads on I think the timing kind of takes
05:59some of the juice out of this in terms of people thinking oh there's a big divide there there should
06:04be a big divide there like the idea that everyone's going to be behind any of these quarterbacks at
06:08this point now they're going to fall back on their personal relationships what's funny about it is you
06:11can't even separate last year into the group of oh well he looked one way with Shador and he looked

06:15different way with I don't know Dylan Gabriel and Joe Flacco Jerry Judy just sucked across the board
06:20last year it wasn't good there's no other way to put it he didn't have a hundred yard game didn't
06:23have an 80 yard game uh like he just he just was bad across the board and so it's really
06:28hard for him
06:29to be like oh I got this disdain for just exclusively Shador it's not that's a tough that's a tough
06:34putt
06:34but but honestly I just I I really throw the tiktok live out and I like if if this is
06:41Jerry acting out
06:42well I don't think Todd Munkin's going to put up for that and this will bear fruit at some point
06:47before the regular season I don't necessarily want to put that on Jerry because again like it's in
06:52our best interest for Jerry Judy to to be no worse than your number two receiver I know but so
06:57it gets
06:57weird though because even like when he does that that photo with the watch and it's like it reminds me
07:03of last year when um David and Joku did something in favor of Joe Flacco and his car do you
07:10remember that
07:10it was like training camp and then it was weren't they in a oh a golf cart they were they
07:16were
07:17cruising around in a golf cart yeah but it was something it was something to endorse Joe Flacco
07:20in the moment and it was one of those things of like it like it it just really kind of

07:25of told everybody where the locker room was and kind of told everybody where the whole thing was going
07:30and if we're gonna if we do get more of these type of signs and you get more of these
07:33wide receivers
07:33that come out and say certain things or do certain actions on IG lives or post certain
07:37Instagram photos like it will come back to that idea like we'll be all right was this
07:41was this thing always settled uh but I think it's way too early to make that claim right now

07:54seemed edited to make Jerry look a specific way um and at this point if Jerry has a preference for
08:01one of these quarterbacks I don't really have a problem with that and it becomes a problem if we're
08:06three weeks into camp and he prefers the guy not winning the job but but right now I think people
08:11made a mountain out of a molehill there
