00:00I will tell you that the thing that excites me the most
00:03about the rookies this year is the wide receivers
00:06between Denzel Boston and KC Concepcion.
00:08Yeah, I know.
00:08You think?
00:09Yeah, I mean, I can't think of.
00:11Is there anything else that would be more exciting than that?
00:14Well, shouldn't Spencer Pano be more exciting?
00:16No.
00:17It's a lineman.
00:18Like, I can't get too pumped up about linemen.
00:19No.
00:20There would be something more exciting.
00:22Okay.
00:23If you stumbled into a franchise quarterback in the sixth round.
00:30Do you believe what's coming out of your mouth or no?
00:33Absolutely, I believe it.
00:34You believe they may have stumbled into a franchise quarterback?
00:37You didn't listen very carefully, did you?
00:38No, I heard exactly what you said.
00:39You said, what would be more exciting?
00:41And I said, if you stumbled into your franchise quarterback in the sixth round,
00:46that would be more exciting.
00:47And then I said to yourself, do you believe that the Browns did that?
00:50And you said?
00:52No.
00:53No.
00:54Okay, then.
00:55You asked what would be more exciting.
00:57Well, that would be more exciting.
01:00That would be way too early to tell, Andy.
01:02He is.
01:03I would think no.
01:06I would think you add him to the group of Dylan and Shadour and just let him play.
01:13I do think this, though.
01:17You asked Scott, rank the guys in order of where you think they are on the depth chart.
01:23Yep.
01:24Can I rank them in order of the intrigue chart?
01:28Okay, go ahead, Jeff.
01:30If you want to give us an intrigue chart.
01:31The most intriguing quarterback in camp is Taylor Green on the roster.
01:36Shadour is second.
01:38And then Dylan Gabriel and Deshaun are probably tied for third.
01:43Okay.
01:44Or Deshaun is third and Dylan's fourth.
01:46Unfortunately for Dylan, I don't think anybody's intrigued by him.
01:49But how can you not be intrigued by Taylor Green?
01:52Six foot five and seven eighths.
01:55Runs like crazy.
01:56Has a big arm.
01:59I mean, Andy, that's intriguing.
02:01Give me your other list, though.
02:03I'll give you my intriguing list and then I'll give it.
02:05Because I think Shadour Sanders is still the most intriguing quarterback on this roster.
02:09I mean, we saw a little bit last year.
02:12I'm wondering what it's going to look like this year when he's got some time hopefully to ramp up.
02:16Well, he's number two on my list of intrigue.
02:19Well, that's true.
02:19So, in case the person who is the most intriguing on Jeff's list, which is Taylor Green,
02:27cannot fulfill his obligations to be the most intriguing,
02:30then Shadour Sanders would have to step in, much like the Miss America pageant.
02:34No, to me, it's still Shadour Sanders.
02:37It's not even close.
02:38Like, I want to see what he can do.
02:40I want to put him in a situation where now he's got, let's see what the offensive line is.
02:45I just don't know.
02:46I don't know if the offensive line underachieved last year
02:50or if what they put together for an offensive line this year is going to work.
02:55We'll see.
02:56There's a lot of what-ifs.
02:58You've got two rookie wide receivers.
02:59You're going to go back to a fullback now?
03:01Okay, I like that.
03:03You've got to have one, Andy.
03:05I agree.
03:06It's a requirement for every team at this time of the year.
03:09Now or when the season starts?
03:13So if you ask me the intrigue list, it's Sanders, Green, Watson, Gabriel.
03:19If you ask me what I thought the list was to actually play and start, as I've said a long
03:24time.
03:25The list was what?
03:25Shadour number one?
03:26It's Shadour one, Green, two, Gabriel, I'm sorry, Watson, three, Gabriel, four.
03:32Or Dylan.
03:34The thing that intrigues me about Deshaun now is can he get back to where he was?
03:38And is he healthy?
03:39Can he play?
03:39But if you ask me what the quarterback with the true depth chart looks like, it's Watson, Sanders, Gabriel, Green.
03:48I don't know how it can't be at this point.
03:49It is May 11th.
03:51We don't have any games tomorrow, do we?
03:52Yeah, I agree with you on the depth chart.
03:54So I thought it was interesting to hear Scott say that Deshaun had just kind of nudged ahead over?
04:01No, I...
04:03Hey, the guy was really, really good at one point in his life.
04:08And he's not, it's not like he's 40.
04:11Here is probably the most interesting soundbite of the weekend from bronze rookie minicamp.
04:16When Green, Taylor Green, was asked who he would compare himself to.
04:21To me, I was like, whoa, here's your list.
04:24I mean, I would say, of course, Lamar, but like he ain't 6'6", you know?
04:28Josh Allen, like it's close, but like I'm 230, he's like 260.
04:33I would say, I don't know.
04:34My dad said Randall Cunningham, bitch.
04:36I really don't think there's anybody like me.
04:38You know, and I don't know like cocky or anything, just, you know, some confidence, just, you know, confidence.
04:43You know, there's nobody that moves like me that's, you know, as tall as me and stuff.
04:47Hmm.
04:48There's nobody like me, Jeff.
04:50And you know what, Andy?
04:51I like that.
04:52I think he's right.
04:54I like it.
04:56He wasn't being cocky, you know?
04:58No, he wasn't.
04:59That's why I liked it.
05:00But if you think about it, so his dad says Randall Cunningham.
05:04Randall wasn't even as tall.
05:07And Randall had a long NFL career.
05:09He was pretty good for a while.
05:13You know, I just want to see this young guy develop.
05:17And this is the intrigue to me, Andy.
05:19He's got a really strong arm.
05:23And if you're going to measure the guys in camp, just on what we've heard, you know, we haven't all
05:30seen it yet ourselves.
05:32You know, you can watch a video all day long.
05:34It still doesn't show you everything.
05:36Probably the strongest arm of all the guys.
05:42The fastest of all the guys.
05:46The biggest of all the guys.
05:50Well, let's see.
05:51I'm a quarterback.
05:53I'm bigger.
05:54I'm faster.
05:55And I throw it harder.
05:57Hello.
05:58Move to the top of the intrigue list for me.
06:02How intriguing was it for Todd Munkin, though?
06:04That's my question.
06:05He answered it.
06:06I think he's carried over the Zoom meetings to this morning's meetings and then walked.
06:11He operated the offense pretty well.
06:13I mean, for someone who hadn't been a part of it.
06:16Eyes weren't always in the right spot.
06:17But you can see a couple of times some of the things he can do with his feet when plays
06:22break down.
06:23So that's exciting to see.
06:25All right.
06:25So that was Todd Munkin on Taylor and Green.
06:30If you're Todd Munkin and you've been a quarterback coach and you've been an offensive coordinator your entire career and
06:38you see this kid, you can't help but think, oh, I want to see if I can do something with
06:45this guy.
06:47Look at you.
06:50Andy, I'm the guy who loves Anthony Richardson.
06:52That's true.
06:53That is true.
06:54At least the idea.
06:55I love the idea of Taylor and Green.
06:58Now, just because you're faster and just because your arm is stronger and just because you're one-eighth of an
07:05inch under 6'6", doesn't mean you can actually play quarterback in the NFL.
07:10But by golly, I want to watch it and see.
07:12I can't wait.
07:14It's going to be fun.
07:15What would be stopping him then?
07:16You've said three really important qualities that you need in a quarterback in the NFL.
07:20Yeah, you know what the most important quality you need in a quarterback in the NFL?
07:23How to read a defense?
07:24Decision-making.
07:25Yeah.
07:26Decision-making.
07:27To me.
07:30Hmm.
07:31I look at it as of today again.
07:34Watson, Sanders.
07:37I don't know how Gabriel can't be third.
07:39Or Dylan.
07:40I mean.
07:41Andy.
07:41I really hope they trade him so he can have a chance with another team.
07:44Yeah, I know.
07:46And then Green somewhere.
07:48I just think about it.
07:51I tease Scott a little bit.
07:53Thank you, Browns, for adding yet another quarterback storyline to this crew.
07:58Think about the storylines with all these guys.
08:00I just think when it all starts.
08:01There's a major storyline with everybody.
08:03Green's going to be on the practice squad when this thing starts.
08:06Here's the reason I don't think he's going to be on the practice squad.
08:09They drafted him.
08:12He was drafted.
08:13And you know how they feel about the guys they draft,
08:16especially the first year after they draft them.
08:19So that makes me think that either Sanders or Gabriel is going to get traded.
08:22Or something happens with Watson again.
08:26All possibilities.
08:28And when I mean something happens,
08:30you know where we're going down that road.
08:33I hope he stays healthy.
08:36If I'm Todd Munkin, I don't know how you can't.
08:38I can't see this team.
08:40I can't see Munkin not looking at the four quarterbacks standing in front of him and go,
08:43Watson probably gives me the best chance to win.
08:45I don't know.
08:46I mean, Sanders has to beat Watson out.
08:56If you ask me, I want Sanders to start.
08:59But I just think that when it's all said and done,
09:02I've been saying this for almost two years now,
09:04money talks.
09:05And if Watson is close or capable,
09:11he is going to be your starter this year.
09:13I can't.
09:13That is the number one question people,
09:16when they see me, they're like,
09:17hey, what's going on with Watson?
09:18Is he really going to start next year?
09:20And it's hard for me to say,
09:22I don't see how he's not starting next year.
09:25I mean, Sanders has to blow him away in camp to take over the spot.
09:30Don't you think?
09:31Yes.
09:34I, again, I've, I've said repeatedly,
09:36I can't imagine a healthy Deshaun Watson standing on the sideline,
09:41holding a clipboard.
09:42I don't either.
09:43I don't.
09:44He worded there was healthy.
09:47Well, they built it.
09:49And it was, I'm trying to remember who I asked this last week.
09:51Did they build the offensive line for any one of their particular quarterbacks?
09:56And I don't think they did.
09:57I think they just, they filled in what they needed to fill in to bring guys
10:01and make it the right way.
10:05I can't believe that, you know,
10:07Taylor and Green were even contemplating that at this point.
10:10But you're right.
10:11There are some really intriguing things about him as they try to, you know,
10:15figure out this quarterback situation.
10:16I'm just, I'm just telling you today, I think it's Deshaun Watson.
10:19I think everyone that you listen to will tell you the same thing,
10:22that Watson's got it to lose at this point.
