00:00Hello there and a very good morning to you on this Wednesday morning which is chilly outside particularly across Scotland
00:06and Northern Ireland with a touch of frost in places and even some mist and fog patches. You're closest to
00:11the centre of the high pressure. Further south we have a real squeeze on the isobars and that will allow
00:16for strong winds through today and a cold wind at that. This feature here very close to the Brest Peninsula
00:22will bring more cloud and even a little showery rain from time to time across the far south west of
00:28England.
00:28For most though it's a dry day with blue sky and sunshine. Eventually this cell of high pressure will drift
00:34towards Denmark allowing for a southeasterly wind to develop across most parts of the country. But this wind will be
00:41relentless through this morning into this afternoon across England and Wales. Any mist and fog further north with a light
00:47breeze will burn off quite quickly and for most it's a fine day with sunny spells. Blue sky but feeling
00:52cool along this east coast particularly where we see that stronger wind which could just about touch gale force across
00:58the south coast certainly gusty over the hills and mountains as well as the moors and through the day more
01:03cloud and a little showery rain just coming in across the far southwest. Elsewhere it's a dry afternoon temperatures typically
01:11in the sunshine in shelter 18, 19, 20 degrees Celsius but a good 4 degrees lower along the east coast
01:18feeling cold with that wind coming in from the north sea.
01:21Now through this evening and overnight notice a little more cloud towards the southwest and this showery rain will blossom
01:28as it moves towards the Republic of Ireland just about clipping the Pembrokeshire coastline. For most though it's a dry
01:35night although Devon could see some rain later on.
01:38Now clearer skies and in fact a bit colder than the last few nights and we'll see a touch of
01:44frost especially in shelter across the north there. And that breeze will pick up across many areas through Thursday. It's
01:51changed directions slightly so slightly warmer along this east coast but through the day more cloud across the west of
01:57Wales, the west country and again a little showery rain as it extends across the Republic of Ireland.
02:02At the same time blue sky and sunshine elsewhere though the sunshine could turn rather hazy across western Scotland later.
02:09As temperatures arrive here perhaps 21 degrees Celsius we could see a 23 towards central southern parts of England and
02:15Wales but cooler along this east coast probably 16 at the very best.
02:19So that's the picture on Thursday afternoon through Thursday evening and overnight this feature here will continue to push northwards
02:26with some showery bursts and it turns a bit more humid into Friday.
02:31So Friday it will be warmer still but we could see a bit more cloud towards the west.
02:36Into the weekend this area of cloud with a little rain will bring some fresher conditions across Scotland.
02:43There could be more cloud elsewhere, a mix of cloud and sunshine and the chance of some showers further south.
02:49So all in all a change of how it's going to feel as we head through into the weekend certainly
02:54feeling warmer across the eastern side of England where you've seen that brisk breeze for the last few days strong
03:00today.
03:00So here's your outlook into the weekend fresher in the north more cloud but still some sunshine coming through and
03:06the chance of some showers with the risk also of thunder.

03:14soon.
