00:00Hello, very good morning to you. Plenty of really pleasant sunny weather to come for many of us in the
00:06coming few days.
00:07First thing this morning though, there is a little bit of mist and murk and fogginess around in some southern
00:12parts,
00:12so do take care if you are out on the roads. Once that lifts and clears though, plenty of sunshine
00:18for most of us
00:19and winds much lighter than they have been. The exception to this though, in the far north and west,
00:24still a little bit breezy, and one or two showers across western parts through Thursday afternoon as well.
00:31Temperatures pretty good for this time of year, in the mid even approaching high teens for some parts.
00:37Through the rest of Thursday evening then, those showers will continue to feed in across parts of Scotland,
00:43but elsewhere the skies will start to clear and the winds will fall lighter. This will allow more mist and
00:50fog
00:50to build in, perhaps even slightly more widespread than we saw the night before.
00:57In rural parts of the southeast, temperatures just dipping low enough to give a touch of grass frost
01:02first thing for Friday morning. As I say, that mist and fog a little bit more widespread for Friday morning
01:09and a little bit slower and more reluctant to clear, perhaps lingering well into the late morning.
01:15You'll notice this band of rain starting to spread in as well across parts of Northern Ireland
01:20and Western Scotland. A little bit of uncertainty as to exactly how far south and east this will progress
01:26on Friday afternoon. Temperatures again, pretty good for this time of year. Do keep an eye on our forecast
01:34as we move into the weekend though to see how that weather front progresses. You can get the very latest
01:39across our social media channels.
