06:07C'est bon, c'est bon, c'est bon, c'est bon.
06:37C'est bon, c'est bon, c'est bon.
07:02Oh, yeah. We're working out.
07:07The shop lights up when Mikey's here, you know. It's a different atmosphere.
07:11For me, it's a different feeling because, you know, I need somebody to play with, and he's the most fun.
07:18So when he's here, most of the time he's hard to find, but when he is here, he just lets
07:29off a glow, you know.
07:30Let's go over this exhaust. I want to do like a long exhaust, like come out of here, come back
07:36to about here.
07:37Yeah, it'd be cool if I did like something where it came down like this and kind of bent over
07:41the cone a little bit.
07:43And then I can straight pipe it and then kind of follow that.
07:45I was thinking maybe like a teardrop slash cut on the pipe, you know, give it like an aggressive look.
07:53Probably make it look like it's, you know, going fast sitting still, you know.
07:56There we go. Okay, do it.
07:58Like a tube drop.
08:00There we go. You get a little bit of leverage so we can like finagle it around before it gets
08:04through.
08:07Oh, man, some electrolytes here.
08:16So it's my first day on this build. I'm just kind of looking at this frame.
08:19In my head, I'm just like I'm pulling out that drawer of archive like, okay, what pipes do I want
08:24to build?
08:24It's challenging when you're doing that stuff on the fly.
08:27Like we're hand-making most of these parts right here in-house.
08:30So what do you think the hardest bike we ever built was?
08:33Let me ask you a question and tell you the answer.
08:35Yeah, why don't you just give me a hint?
08:38Dead people?
08:39Dead people.
08:41Oh, the hearse bike.
08:42Oh, yeah, so he still uses that.
08:45I know he does, but tell me that wasn't...
08:47Heinzelman.
08:48Was that crazy?
08:49He just texted me.
08:50You know, it's funny. We had to test that.
08:52We've had like three or four different front ends on that.
08:54I remember Johnny read that. He was the biggest, heaviest one in the shop.
08:57Being back here with some of the guys, it's really a lot of fun.
09:02We haven't been all together in the same room in quite some time.
09:05And, you know, when I first came here, it was kind of story time, you know?
09:09And we have a million of them.
09:10And just reminiscing about some of the crazy stuff we did,
09:14some of the funny stuff we did.
09:16But, you know, at some point we've got to get to work.
09:21How are you going to get out those stitches?
09:22That's the reason why it might hurt a little bit.
09:35So working with Paul now versus back in New York, it's different.
09:40The stress level for everybody is nonexistence for the most part.
09:44We just enjoy working together, having fun.
09:47He's teaching me things.
09:49I'm not a bike builder by trade.
09:51So he's been showing me what's going on.
09:53We've been building together, just doing really cool stuff
09:55and working with some cool people down here in Florida that we've met.
09:58A lot more steps.
09:59This piece next is going to be really a pain in the ass.
10:02It is.
10:03Worse than all this.
10:04Because you, my friend, are an imbecile.
10:08People always ask, what do you like about working with Paul?
10:11Is he really like to see on TV?
10:14How great was Jackie Gleason?
10:17So I think what we need to do is make a plate in here.
10:20Okay.
10:21This way, come around and fill in this area.
10:26Right.
10:26And then Anthony made an oil tank.
10:29We'll see how the oil tank and the battery box to fill this area
10:33because it's stretched so far.
10:34It looks real empty in there.
10:36Right.
10:38They're working on the front end.
10:40So I think we're doing really good.
10:43Again, Anthony's building a gas tank.
10:45That's kind of like, I think that's an area that none of us are qualified in
10:49other than Anthony.
10:50So, but the fender's not done.
10:52We got a lot of fabrication to do on that fender.
10:56It's a real long bike.
10:58The frame's been stretched.
10:59So, yeah, I'm getting back to work.
11:15My name's Anthony Keeling.
11:17I'm in a company called Tin Works, Inc.
11:18I've been helping Paul for about two or three years now.
11:21Off and on, I build frames for him and stuff.
11:23And today I'm helping him, trying to get this bike done, helping out.
11:27And I'm building the gas tank, mounting the oil tank, battery box.
11:31It's going to be a pretty nice build when it's done.
11:46Why do you all make that look when I walk in, like there's something wrong?
11:49Because we're happy to see you.
11:50You're never happy to see you.
11:51All morning, everybody's, where's Joan?
11:53Where's Joan?
11:53Oh, yeah, yeah.
11:54Where's Joan?
11:54We hope she got hit by a trolley.
11:55Paul's like, I don't know, but I already missed her.
11:57Is it really?
11:58Yeah.
11:58So Joan, Paul's wife, most people don't know she's actually the CEO of Orange County Chopper.
12:03So she keeps us running smooth and keeps us on point.
12:06I mean, a lot of times she'll stop by the shop to see what Paul and I are up to
12:10or not up to.
12:11She makes sure we're on point with delivering the bikes on time and what the client is looking for.
12:16It is going on.
12:16Yeah, it is.
12:17What do you think, Mike?
12:17We could drive it?
12:19Yeah, we've got a lot of people working on it all at once.
12:21Like the old days, you know?
12:23Yeah, that's what I feel like.
12:25I just walked in, I'm like, wait, wait, wait.
12:27I'm going to time warp, you know?
12:34It's awesome.
12:35That's a great tank.
12:36Right?
12:36You know what?
12:37I was just going to say, it actually fits the whole thing perfectly, yeah.
12:43I like it a lot.
12:44You know me, I'd be giving my real opinion if I didn't like it.
12:46It's almost the same width when you're looking down this way.
12:48The tank's a little wider, but it's so close.
12:51Really?
12:51Great job.
12:52Yeah, no, it really does.
12:53It's a great job.
12:54Speaking of custom, how's my custom bike coming along, Paul?
12:57You don't have some place to be.
12:59You've got to feed the chickens, maybe, or the cows.
13:01We don't have chickens, just for the record.
13:02Oh, get them.
13:11Where's Jimbo?
13:12Hey.
13:13Don't sneak up on me.
13:14I'm sorry.
13:15What do we got?
13:16Mikey, I'm working on you.
13:17You want Mikey on the rear?
13:18Oh, great.
13:19Me and you, pal.
13:20All right.
13:21All right?
13:21Terrible.
13:22Set first.
13:24Oh, what this?
13:27Let me do this.
13:30All right, sir.
13:31Happy to get that.
13:37We're having like a slow start this morning.
13:39I think it's mainly because of Michael.
13:41He's late this morning, two days in a row.
13:45One more time, I'm going to have to can him.
13:47Any conversation with the camera guy?
13:48All right, you better get on the f***ing stick.
13:51All right.
13:53All right?
13:55Good pep going.
13:57Good f***.
13:58Oh, you know the f***.
14:00All right.
14:01Fuck out.
14:03Paul had some surgery done to his hand and had some stitches.
14:05So the doctor is supposed to be stopping by, which is good, because to get Paul to go to
14:09the doctor and to get us to do anything when we're done working is tough.
14:12It's hot.
14:13It's hot.
14:14Well, I drove an hour to get here.
14:16Did you really?
14:16Yeah.
14:17I must love you a lot.
14:18I'm like a coward when it comes to this s***.
14:21No, you're not.
14:21Like when they cut it and they stitch it, it didn't bother me at all.
14:24But now, that looks great.
14:26Yeah, but look at how this has grown over that.
14:29How are you going to get at those stitches?
14:30That's the reason why it might hurt a little bit.
14:33You sure you want to do it here?
14:35Yeah.
14:36It's your hand, not mine.
14:38Yeah?
14:38You good?
14:39Oh, man.
14:39It's fine.
14:40Let's do it.
14:40Mike, you're working here?
14:42Yeah, yeah.
14:42How did this happen?
14:44You don't want to let anyone know.
14:45No.
14:45I don't talk about it.
14:47I don't want to talk about it.
14:48I think my father is getting to the age where, like, he's causing himself embarrassing accidents
14:52but doesn't want to tell anybody.
14:54So he came in one day with a real gash in his hand and he kind of didn't want to
14:59tell anybody
15:00how it happened, you know?
15:01But it's sitting there like Frankenstein's, you know, stitches in his head.
15:05So it's kind of hard not to give him a hard time about what's going on.
15:09Kind of like the giant dent in the front of his truck, you know?
15:13He blasted something with that.
15:15I don't think he wants to tell anyone.
15:18They might take his license away, you know?
15:21I got a brown paper bag and break it to me.
15:23Give it a go.
15:23You got to give it the old college try.
15:25And every time I pull it, he's angry.
15:27Thank you.
15:27See?
15:28Yeah, boom.
15:29He said it.
15:29What do you do if we go to your place over there?
15:33What are you going to do?
15:33I just, I probably might open it up a little bit.
15:37Open it up?
15:37Yeah, I might have to.
15:38Look at this.
15:39It's cool.
15:39Now, we'll just let, we'll let it.
15:42All right, hold on.
15:44We're just going to, let's clean it up here.
15:45Made it WD.
15:47WD.
15:47Got tons of it.
15:48I need you, can you worry, we don't have the newest part, right?
15:50No, right?
15:50I'll bill you later.
15:52All right, let me know if you need me.
15:55All right.
15:55All right, I'll see you later.
15:56Love you.
15:56Thank you, man.
15:57Love you too.
15:57Appreciate it.
15:58He's my boy.
15:59I got to make house calls, I got to make house calls.
16:01It is what it is.
16:02That's what you do.
16:03You take care of your friends.
16:05It's hot.
16:06Yeah, it's hot.
16:17As far as the bars on this bike, Drew made these bars, actually makes quite a few different
16:25sets of handlebars, and this one set of bars was very unique, and I really liked it.
16:31So, I had to ask them to fabricate a set of those for a gray bulb.
16:44I'm not digging it, man, because these are going up in the air.
16:47I wanted them to come down this way, if anything.
16:50And, you know, we got it on, put them on, and they just didn't cut it.
16:56First of all, the stretching, the rake and everything, the position of the handlebars just
17:01and whatnot, it didn't work.
17:03So, we had to go to option B, which was, you know, a set of kind of pull-back drag
17:09bars,
17:10and even then we had to make like eight-inch spacers to bring them up over the tank.
17:15When you're building custom bikes, every frame that we do has got like a different rake on it.
17:19Normally, when I build my Zeus bars, it's for like a stock rake.
17:22So, I just went ahead and built them for that, thinking I could just, you know, change the angles.
17:26And they're cool, like on a stock rake, but with that 40-degree angle, it just wasn't looking right.
17:30You know what I'm saying?
17:31It was just like real sharp edges, and like everything on the bike was kind of like smooth,
17:35so it wasn't really flowing.
17:37What, did you cut yourself yesterday?
17:53All right, you ready, brother?
17:54Yes, sir, yes, sir.
17:55Not you.
17:57Nope, nope.
17:58You, my friend.
18:02Oh, it's the little things that make you laugh, you know what I mean?
18:05How's that look?
18:06Centered?
18:10Just tack that corner in there.
18:12If I get a shock, you're getting punched, man.
18:17All right, all right, all right, all right, all right, all right.
18:18Oh, .
18:20All right, just get a little more tack.
18:22Not on that side, just on that inside.
18:25Okay.
18:25You know what I mean, bro?
18:27Roll it.
18:28I think it's got to go over that way a little bit, but I think it's centered, right?
18:32Downhill and over the hill.
18:34Of course, he doesn't put his glasses on right now.
18:36No.
18:37All right, you know what?
18:38He's the new guy.
18:39You got to ride.
18:39Yeah, I got to, you know, put my time in.
18:41You got to get his initiation, man.
18:43I'm easy on him.
18:44I don't think so.
18:46I'm sitting there at first.
18:47It's one of the 40s out of the South Bend.
18:49Right.
18:49It's a nice piece of machinery.
18:53I sold that I never should have sold.
18:55Yeah, it's way too tight.
19:00Let me see something.
19:02And it's got to come.
19:03Ow!
19:04Yeah, it's hot.
19:06Oh.
19:08It's already over.
19:09It's already over, yeah.
19:11All right, let's see.
19:13Back to the drawing board.
19:15Thank you, George.
19:18Where's Michael Cohen?
19:19Better not.
19:22Bring it over here, Mike.
19:32You always prepare for these things, but it never, ever works out.
19:40Me and Mike have kind of a chemistry, you know, so no matter what we do together, we have fun.
19:45So the sissy bar entailed quite a bit of work.
19:49I'm down.
19:51I'm down.
19:52You're going to burn someone's eyebrows off.
19:55You know what happens?
19:56We've made a bunch of sissy bars together, and usually we get halfway and have to start from the beginning.
20:02It's just one of the rare times we didn't have to, so that was kind of an accomplishment.
20:07Right?
20:08No, it was good.
20:08It was good.
20:09I enjoyed it.
20:10Oh, great.
20:11I don't want to tell you until I'm going to tell you.
20:12Thanks, Mike.
20:13I appreciate you, brother.
20:14Yep.
20:14You, me, you too.
20:16I'll see you in hell.
20:20So now that the paint and powder coat for the Gray Bowl bike is out, it's time for a little
20:23R&R, a little us time.
20:25So Paul's got a friend who owns an airboat place with crocodiles and other stuff, so it should be pretty
20:30interesting.
20:31So we're going to go out, check that out, and have some fun.
20:34My name's David Schlum.
20:35I'm one of the owners out here at Wild Bill's Airboat Tours.
20:39Paul Sr., he's been coming out here for a couple years, hanging out with me.
20:42I got one of his bikes in my house.
20:44He's a really stand-up guy.
20:45This is a day out for us.
20:48We usually, almost on every show we do, we take a day where we have a good time.
20:55So we decided to come over here with Dave.
20:57Let's do this.
21:13You know what, coming here today, it's so funny because it's really peaceful and it's just a break from, you
21:18know, everyday life between the shop, you know, the business side, working out the farm, which I love.
21:23You know, all of a sudden you come out here and you forget about everything.
21:26It's just a great break.
21:27I have to admit it, I was a little bit scared of Paul driving the boat because we've all seen
21:33his truck, you know, and he has no fear whatsoever.
21:37Like, he doesn't, it's amazing.
21:39You would think as you get older, you would get a little bit, you know, more fearful of things.
21:43I think he's actually gotten worse when it comes to that zero fear, just hit it.
21:48We all came out of our seats, but it was so much fun.
21:50This place is always an adventure.
22:00We brought Haley in.
22:02I've been watching her on her Instagram for quite some time now.
22:06She's a pretty amazing person.
22:08She tells you like it is.
22:10She's a little raw.
22:11You know, what she does, what I admire about her is she, she'll get her front end that's bent and
22:16twisted and rusted and she'll get her old rim or old whatever it may be and she'll fix it.
22:22When the girl comes in, I'm going to have her work with you, Christian.
22:25She's like really good with stringers, you know.
22:27You ever see her on, on Instagram?
22:29He showed me, he showed me the, I checked her out quick.
22:31I came in and they put me to work with, um, with Haley and I wasn't very familiar with her
22:38working together and she's, she's, you know, she's got the trucker mouth going.
22:41Cool girl.
22:42Yeah, it's proper.
22:43This goes like loud.
22:46You're amazing.
22:49I would have thought for sure they'd be the, like.
22:52Well, listen, I might not be right.
22:54No, that's, that's not a bad idea.
22:56How many choppers do you think you've built?
22:58A lot.
22:59Oh, crap.
22:59We did over a thousand just on the show.
23:04It's always the most dicey thing is putting the springs on.
23:07Haley's fitting right in.
23:08Like one of the team, she's really good.
23:11She's done front ends before in springers.
23:13So we knew that would be a, a good place to have her start.
23:16Yeah, she's knocking it out.
23:17Yeah, so this morning we came in.
23:19Haley and I were working on getting the front break.
23:21Totally situated.
23:23Um, a lot of spacing.
23:25It's a little, a lot of math involved, actually.
23:27Um, so we're, we're just about done with that.
23:29So, yeah, we're off to a good start.
23:31A little better than yesterday, I would say.
23:33I found bikes as something, like, instinctively.
23:36I couldn't put my finger on it.
23:37I just had to be on a bike.
23:39I knew that it was something I had to do.
23:40But all the bikes, like all the stock bikes, for whatever reason, that was, like, some intuition or something that
23:45was going on where I didn't like any of the stock bikes either.
23:48So he notices what I'm doing, which a lot of people, they don't notice that kind of stuff.
23:52They just want to see paint and chrome, and then that's what constitutes a build.
23:56But obviously there's no chroming really around me.
23:58And so we got to make do with what we got, and we're making our own parts.
24:01And he gets it.
24:02He sees that.
24:03Hurry up.
24:04Go fast.
24:06Dude, look at that spring.
24:07Got it one?
24:08Hold on.
24:16So today, Jim and I are just working on some odds and ends.
24:19I've got some wiring I'm doing, just making sure everything's, you know, tight, locked, ready to go.
24:25All right, so I think we got most of it.
24:27Yeah.
24:28Jim had received the paint yesterday, and he noticed there was a little difference in the shade of the gray.
24:35So we called Paul in, see what he thought of it.
24:38When I came in, the tanks were in here, and the color gray that was on the gas tanks,
24:44opposed to the bars and the other stuff that we used for accent on the front end and the primary,
24:51was totally different color.
24:53Well, the tins and stuff came in yesterday.
24:55The tins?
24:56They look amazing, but I think we have an issue.
25:00So let me grab one.
25:02I can see it already.
25:03Yep, that's the issue.
25:09Ken did another amazing job on the paint.
25:11It's amazing.
25:12Let me grab you a piece so we can hold it next to it so you can see what the
25:15difference is.
25:16That guy is just...
25:17Ah, insane.
25:18He's like a professional.
25:20Well, yeah, he's like a professional.
25:22I don't know how we got him.
25:24Yeah.
25:24Yeah, right.
25:25What's he doing?
25:26A piece you can hold next to it, you can definitely see the difference.
25:29Oh, my God.
25:30It's way different.
25:31Yeah, it is.
25:32It's too much to leave.
25:33It's a nice gray, but it's just not the same gray.
25:35But there's so much of it on the bike, you're going to notice it.
25:40There was, you know, a few things we had to take off.
25:43The primary handlebars, risers, part of the Springer front end, battery box, all to get
25:50repowder-coated with this new powder-coater that we're using.
25:53With the new powder-coater, why don't you give them a coin?
25:55Yeah, they're right down the street.
25:57Hopefully, they're near there and we can do something with it.
26:02I mean, it doesn't seem like we got to take...
26:05That's going to be the biggest pain, yeah.
26:07Front end.
26:08Well, just the spring side and the front end.
26:12Bars, risers, primary.
26:15Thank you for calling CQ Cody.
26:16This is the police.
26:17How can I help you?
26:18Hey, it's Jim from OCC.
26:19How are you doing?
26:20Good, how are you?
26:21Good, thanks.
26:21I got you on speakerphone with Paul and Chris.
26:23Hey, all.
26:24Well, so we just got some tins in for a bike we're building and the powder coat we had
26:31done previously to the bike is not matching at all.
26:35It's just way too different.
26:36So, I wanted to see if you guys could come down with your sample pack and we could see
26:40if we can match it up and get this fixed.
26:43Yeah, absolutely.
26:43We can head that way right now.
26:45Yeah, give you a heads up so you can think about it on your way over.
26:48It's going to have to be a quick turn and burn like tomorrow.
26:52Yeah, that's not a problem.
26:53Yeah?
26:53Cool, yeah.
26:54Head on over.
26:54You know where we're at, right?
26:55That was easy.
26:56You should have said today.
26:58Once they get here, we take this stuff off.
27:01We can start putting this stuff on.
27:02Yeah, we can mount everything on.
27:03Yeah, I mean, we can start taking the stuff off now or we just want to get here.
27:07So, what do you want to hit first?
27:08You want to take all the, I think, the bar controls and stuff off?
27:10We'll just have to do it little by little because these bolts don't come all the way out,
27:14am I correct?
27:14Which ones?
27:15These?
27:17These do.
27:18What do they do?
27:19Yeah.
27:20All right.
27:20Yeah, barely.
27:22So, how many times did you put the bike together?
27:28Hey, we're still not.
27:29Hey, how are you?
27:31How are you?
27:31Good.
27:31Good to see you guys.
27:32Thanks for coming down.
27:33So, like any custom build with a car, a bike, a house, or whatever it may be, there's going
27:37to be issues.
27:38The powder coat and the paint, the gray versions just didn't match.
27:41There was too much of an inconsistency to let it go.
27:44So, we had to get another powder coater to come in and fix it and do it really quick.
27:48And fortunately, C-Cube Coatings did that.
27:50The real way to do it is do the powder coat and have the paint match the powder coat, but
27:54we didn't do it that way.
27:55That's all right.
27:56So, that'll work.
27:57That color will work.
27:58Yeah, I can get this today from our supplier.
27:59I'll pick it up and we can have the parts done by tonight.
28:02Yeah, that'll work.
28:02I'll give you a call if something changes.
28:03That's great.
28:04That's great.
28:05Now, we appreciate you guys running and getting done so quick.
28:09Yeah, let's get the part over with.
28:11This has got to go, yeah, we've got plenty of room, right?
28:14This has got to go like this, right?
28:18Here, just so you can put this in there.
28:22If I hold that.
28:27The thing part, remember, it would slide off of there, so you've got to have it like dead
28:30on.
28:30So, me and Christian were taking the spring apart, not for the first time.
28:36And we're using this tool that we used to use, man, we used it for years and years back
28:40in the old shop, even.
28:41And it was compressing the spring.
28:43That pulls the tension on the spring so that you could release it and take the springs off.
28:50And I pulled the whole stud out.
28:53Where the stud should have stayed, just the nut should have came off.
28:55So, there was nothing holding that spring in.
28:57And he still had it compressed.
28:58And I noticed that the spring was bowing.
29:02Christian started moving away.
29:04He said, you need to hurry up.
29:06And when I looked, the spring on the triple, between the triple trees, was almost bent like
29:14a U.
29:15And, I mean, there was a lot, a lot of pressure underneath that spring.
29:18So, I tried to get him to go fast, fast, fast, you know, loosen it, get it off.
29:22And as soon as he said that, it let go.
29:24And before I could even get that totally out of my mouth, the thing went whipping across.
29:29Dude, look at that spring.
29:30I don't want...
29:31Oh, my...
29:33Wow.
29:34Well, that'll work.
29:35You all right?
29:37Holy crap.
29:38Right there's good.
29:39That thing hit me right in the wrist, bro.
29:41You all right?
29:42Keep going fast.
29:45It hit me...
29:45It hit me in the hand.
29:47You know, I could still feel it.
29:49We got a red mark there, but I guess it could have been worse.
29:52I mean, that thing went whipping.
29:53And as a matter of fact, we didn't see where the one piece went.
29:56Jim found it on the floor afterwards.
29:58That was the part that I didn't see.
30:00We looked up at the ceiling, and there was a hole in the ceiling.
30:04So, luckily, I mean, it would have knocked teeth out.
30:07Could have been at the dentist getting new teeth,
30:09because the pressure that that had to be able to almost stick into the ceiling.
30:14It's funny, I guess.
30:17Pretty much lucked out there.
30:24Hey, what's going on?
30:25I'm Barry.
30:26Uh-oh.
30:27Barry.
30:28I'll tell you, you did a nice job.
30:30Yeah, because usually there's a lot of orange peel in here.
30:34Yeah, it's a really nice job.
30:37Thanks.
30:37Now that we got the powder coat back, you know, we need to get it back together.
30:41And if something else unexpectedly comes up, which usually does, we could be in trouble.
30:48Bye, guys.
30:49Thanks.
30:49Thank you.
30:50Take the team for us.
30:51Yeah, you know, sometimes putting a motorcycle together is pretty darn tedious.
30:55A lot of nuts and bolts and knick-knacks that you've got to put together, and it takes time,
31:00and it's not exactly a big hurdle, but, you know, it's something that needs to be done.
31:07And we're having a lot of fun here doing it.
31:09So, you can get this side, if this side's straight, uh, get it lined up on this side.
31:15That ain't bad.
31:16Oh, nice.
31:17You're probably old, right?
31:18That looks pretty good, actually.
31:20Yeah, we were talking about the other day, remember?
31:22Yeah, we're pretty much getting caught up.
31:25Kind of, it's kind of difficult when everybody kind of, sort of, kind of works in the same area.
31:32You're kind of banging to, but we, we're, we've been coming along.
31:35We got the primary pretty much done.
31:37Got the covers on there.
31:39Al got the light all hooked up.
31:41So, we got a little bit more electric work to do.
31:43Probably another couple, at least a couple hours of everything.
31:45Got to get the oil tank on, run the oil lines, and the rest of that stuff.
31:49But I think that we're, I think we're on schedule.
31:52I don't like to say that, because every time I say that, something goes wrong.
31:57But, but I think we're okay.
31:58I mean, everybody's, believe it or not, even though we're on top of each other, everybody's
32:02getting their part done.
32:04Yeah.
32:05It's, it's, it's, it's cool how, like, every time you put a piece on, like, the headlight
32:10changes it, you know, the seat changes it.
32:13Is that good?
32:13They're not good as well.
32:16They're definitely going to like this.
32:20Look like it's kinked.
32:22You know what we're going to do today.
32:23Sounds good.
32:35Hold that.
32:36Hold that and get reserved.
32:38Sid.
32:45C'est bon, Mike.
32:46Merci.
32:49Est-ce qu'on s'en fout, ou quoi?
32:51On va s'en fout, bro.
32:56S'en fout, c'est pas ça, c'est pas ça?
32:57Je pense que je suis prêt.
33:11Sous-titrage Société Radio-Canada
33:39et on va s'en fout, c'est pas ça, c'est pas ça, c'est pas ça, c'est
33:43pas ça, c'est pas ça.
34:09On a hold it in front of Grey Bull and Brian and their team, as well as our team, and
34:12it was amazing.
34:21We've built a lot of bikes for different organizations over the years,
34:24but this Grey Bull bike is really something near and dear and something really special to all of us, I
34:30think.
34:33Mike!
34:34Hey-o!
34:35Where are you?
34:37Mike!
34:38Hey!
34:39What are you doing back there?
34:40I was just inventorying.
34:43I was doing some inventory.
34:44We really didn't have much time to spare at all, it was, you know, the day of the event, we're
34:51wrapping this bike up, we're doing the steering chains, making sure everything's good for the unveil, everything's running alright, and
34:58we really, you know, we're used to it.
35:01You know, from back in the day, we were always under some sort of crunch or deadline, you know, I'm
35:05used to it personally, I think Mikey is as well, and so we just worked and you just keep going
35:10until you get it done, and we did.
35:13You got one shot to do this.
35:15Why?
35:16Because where you drill and tap this hole on both sides.
35:20Yeah, but you could adjust the chain with the link.
35:23Yeah, but if you go.
35:24If you go too long.
35:25That's a long link.
35:27Then you could go too long, then it's null and void.
35:30Well, then you gotta hold it to where you want it, and then punch it out.
35:34And if you do it, f*** it up, then you go the other way, but then you're going, cut this
35:38turn radius.
35:39Yeah, right.
35:40I can't do the left.
35:42I can't turn.
35:45Like, no, just loosen that a little bit.
35:47Yeah, you could do that too.
35:49Flattened it more with the spacers.
35:51You used the spacers and the chain.
35:54You know what I'm saying?
35:55In a vise.
35:57Where's Mike?
35:58Two, three, four, five, six.
35:59Man, that.
36:01Bam, bam.
36:02Right there.
36:02Well, you know, it's really nice and mellow working with my dad now, you know?
36:06Instead of yelling at me, he just kind of breaks my b***h a little bit.
36:12And it's really nice because he's very old now, you know?
36:15So I think he needs me in some way, shape, or form.
36:18I don't know how I'm worthless as f*** on a bull with the motorcycle and the, when the motorcycle's
36:24and the fabricating, you know?
36:25But, um, uh, I just really enjoy being around it now.
36:33You've got the Christian.
36:34Sure.
36:35We'll go to, uh, me.
36:37No.
36:39Right there, me.
37:03Oh, whoa, whoa, whoa.
37:15So, the bike, like most of the times, time was of the essence and we were running a little
37:20behind, but we were going to get it done.
37:21So, we were able to finish it, which is good because it allows us to go out and see some
37:25of the vendors here at the St. Pete Bike Fest.
37:27We had some friends here, like Gray Bull, Jay from Operation Healing Heroes, and Talon
37:32from CQ, who's our new powder coater.
37:34So, it was good to be able to go out and spend some time with them and just relax a
37:37little
37:37bit after you're getting the bike done.
37:39You know, the unveils are always great, but it's even better when we get to do them at
37:42the OCC Roadhouse.
37:44The reveal was so nerve-wracking, to be honest with you, because even though you think that
37:49this is an excellent bike and it fits perfectly, you still never really know what the client
37:55has in their mind.
37:56So, the Gray Bull unveil went well.
37:58Joan and I got out there, got the crowd ready.
38:01We brought Brian up.
38:03Brian talked about Gray Bull.
38:04Joan talked about Gray Bull.
38:06And then Brian showed everybody a video.
38:08It was the first time the video has been made public.
38:10The Gray Bull team hadn't seen it.
38:11They fired it up.
38:12Everybody turned around from Gray Bull.
38:14The crowd was quiet.
38:15You could hear a pin drop because everybody was paying attention to that video.
38:18We rolled right into Ukraine, and that was a humanitarian crisis unto itself.
38:22We've done 68 American babies from the war in Ukraine.
38:25Oh, my baby.
38:27Thank you, everyone.
38:28Babies in a war zone on life support and incubators gives you gray hair.
38:34Several Americans have come back home after being held hostage by Russian forces in Ukraine.
38:39I would be dead if it wasn't for Brian.
38:42He saved my life.
38:43Without Brian, I would still be there.
38:48The United States and U.S. citizens need Gray Bull very simply because more Americans are
38:53held at risk today than ever before, and no one's coming.
38:57I like to be able to say we're coming.
38:59My greatest fears have now come true, which is having to say no.
39:03We have way more people asking us for help than we can afford, and that's because we're
39:08donor-funded.
39:09If we do not have money, we cannot do what we do.
39:12This operation is logistically very expensive.
39:16If there's no donations, there's no money to execute evacuations or rescues.
39:22We can have all the things that we need, but if I can't afford to take a guess, it just
39:26sounds like a good movie.
39:27And that's the one thing that I never, ever, ever, ever want to do when somebody needs help
39:31is be a spectator.
39:35So the video gets done.
39:37We're pumping everybody up.
39:38You hear the bike coming.
39:40You hear Paul revving it up, coming around the corner.
39:42He pulls it in.
39:43It's a long bike.
39:44It's over 11 feet long.
39:45So riding that in, Paul killed it as always.
39:48Pulled it in front of Gray Bull and Brian and their team as well as our team, and it was
39:52amazing.
39:58Audience was so receptive, so I was really glad to see that.
40:02But as soon as the bike pulled out and you saw their faces, we knew we nailed it.
40:08Because they could not have been happier with the bike.
40:12So it really, in the end, after all the anxiety, turned out to be awesome.
40:17So after the unveil and everybody was checking out the bike, we invited all of Gray Bull back
40:21over to the shop to talk to us and see where the bike was made.
40:24I think it's beautiful.
40:25I think it's beautiful.
40:26It definitely balances the...
40:33You know, the thing of it is, every bike that we build tells a story.
40:37And I think that people that we've done bikes for 20 years ago, so they still have the same
40:43bike and they take it to events.
40:45You know, it's always an attraction.
40:46People go to the bike before they go to a nice car.
40:48Horne looked at this and we were just ecstatic.
40:51Something that was an American icon.
40:53Orange County Choppers to be able to build something like this.
40:55Bring notoriety to what we do.
40:57It's been a blessing.
40:59This is really going to help us working with Orange County Choppers.
41:02This really draws a lot of attention to the charity.
41:04And once we can draw that attention, once people learn about what we do and why it's necessary,
41:09that's super helpful to the charity.
41:11We're really grateful.
41:12And thank you, thank you, Orange County Choppers, for picking Grateful, getting our word out
41:17there.
41:18Super excited.
41:19And you absolutely nailed exactly what we were going for.
41:21Thank you, OCC.
41:24Grateful!
41:27Wait a minute, wait a minute.
41:29That was louder than OCC.
41:31It debes to sleep.
41:31We'll be right back.
41:40We'll see you next time.
41:41Cheers.
