00:05today's video I gotta admit I almost forgot about this one but I just

00:12recently remembered it after seeing my timeline on Twitter okay so today I'm gonna

00:17be talking about the Max Payne returns now this is normally sound like really

00:25good news if you're someone who's a fan of the franchise then you realize it's remakes

00:31specifically the first and the second one has been remake it's not remastered it's

00:38not you know being ported over to the new systems and new platforms like

00:46I'll agree for example that is a remastered but when it came out but

00:54last year before the anime was a remaster not a remake this is a remake and what

01:00that means is they basically don't open the game from the ground up with new

01:04graphics new models new everything it also means that they're going to have to

01:10change a lot of shit because you're not going to just do a copy paste making of

01:18the game that already came out you know you have to change on some stuff you have

01:24to add in some stuff but maybe take out some stuff and we know this because this

01:28is what is going to happen with with other games that we make like when they

01:33remake the Mon Warfare game that came out a few years ago remember that wasn't the

01:38exact same as the Mon Warfare from the thousands and nor should it be

01:45this is also been happening quite a bit more often than a lot of these popular

01:49franchises that I grew up with especially now you have the Dead Space

01:55franchise come back that also being remake and then there's also concerned about

02:01that going in a more different direction to remakes which is where I have the big

02:07issue with this you know at first I would have been completely fine if they

02:12want to revisit this franchise for a another sequel or just remaster it but a

02:19remake is no no no because a remake you'd have to change stuff and take it out and

02:26there's a lot of stuff that they could very much want to change around in the

02:31max being knowing how much time has passed it's been what 21 ish years since max

02:39being franchise blew up there's a lot there that they're going to want to change

02:45around and a lot there that they're probably going to add into it going to

02:50disappoint a lot of people you see here with this a lot of people see this game

02:56being remake the first and second one and they get all happy and excited and

03:00nostalgia that the franchise is coming back but in your mind you're expecting a

03:07remaster expecting a remake and it might sound weird but when the game comes out and you see how

03:19much different it is not just gameplay-wise but story-wise from the original then you

03:26go into understand exactly what I'm talking about here but oh this is not what I

03:33wanted even though you did support it you know that's that's why I don't really

03:38think with this you know I don't really think with remakes of popular games you know

03:43this sort of like an implication that it's there's not good jobs I know that there's

03:49something about it needs to be changed which is not true there's nothing that you

03:53really need to change in this franchise you know you just have to remaster it

03:59you know upscale graphics visuals whatever you can probably add in some extra store

04:05in here and there to increase the value of it and then just package and put it back out

04:09you know you don't need to remake it hell you can just don't like a spin-off if you

04:13it was like that let's do a spin-off storyline connected to this you know

04:17there's some ways you can go through this but you went straight to remake and

04:25it's the same shit that I smushed from the Dead Space scenario you know a franchise that I

04:30actually wanted to come back for so long like since I was in school no Dead Space

04:36was up there and it just pretty much went downhill but they finally announced

04:42Dead Space coming back and that's what they do a remake of the first one you

04:50know and don't get me wrong there are instances in where these remakes they come

04:58out and they just do just fine you know like the Mon Warfare one that I mentioned

05:03earlier that was a very successful remake and I'd argue that was probably the

05:07motivation for these other studios to go back and remake their old older games but quite a

05:15bit of them when they get remakes they also tend to be to not be underwhelming and

05:20disappointing for long-term players in the franchise like me right so that's

05:26overall it sums up my thoughts you know I don't want to make this any long ass video ranting about

05:33the intricacies about the max pain whatever you know it ain't that deep I mean even though the

05:38games are kind of you know deep this whole stuff around isn't that deep it's just you know a remake

05:45that happening that I just don't generally support you know I prefer it to be remastered or just to

05:52play the original as it is because it's not like it's that bad you know oh at the very least just

06:02made a spin-off you know but anyways that is my take on guys I'm looking at what you think in the
