A poisoned relationship.

That’s how the brother of the victim of a murder/suicide in Claxton Bay today, described the partnership shared by the couple.

The bodies of the 42-year-old woman and her 27-year-old boyfriend were discovered by the woman’s son around 7am.

00:00Over a year of frequent abuse culminated in yet another case of suspected murder-suicide on Monday morning.
00:08According to relatives, 43-year-old Angel Luchman and her boyfriend, 29-year-old Shazad Mohamed,
00:15both of Abraham Street, Claxton Bay, were discovered dead by Luchman's 11-year-old son around 7 a.m.
00:23Luchman's older brother told reporters at the scene of the crime this afternoon
00:27that from the very beginning, he never supported their relationship.
00:32They always fight them, continuously.
00:36Arguments, a lot of threats being made by him.
00:39I came on many occasions to try and quelch when they had the fallout.
00:45And the last time I came, he told me in front of the house, he said,
00:48I'm going to kill your sister. I do business for the police, as I say.
00:52Because the police was open to him, she went and took water and restrained another.
00:55He says back in July, an incident led to the TTPS being called out.
01:01Then his sister saying she no longer wanted to involve the police.
01:05This thing going on for over a year now.
01:07Every time he come here, there's a fight.
01:10He's going to kill you. He wants to beat you.
01:12He can't talk. He banned you from talking to all your friends.
01:16He banned you from talking to our own family.
01:17Right? So he wanted to keep treating a little bubble of his own.
01:22And all her friends, every one I can meet them, they will tell you,
01:25they all spoke to her about this relationship.
01:28This was a poison relationship from the beginning.
01:31And they never stopped.
01:34He keep coming back.
01:35Two of them keep making up.
01:37And this is the end product.
01:38He says his sister was a very friendly person,
01:42while her partner was always a jealous person,
01:45and issued this warning to others.
01:47From the time a relationship reaches a point where there's a lot of physical abuse
01:54and threats being needed,
01:56get out of it. Don't stay.
01:59Get out of it. Find a safe zone and move.
02:03Because they don't quench.
02:04Once they're hit here once, they will be over and over and over.
02:08They don't suffer.
02:09It is suspected that Luchman was stabbed to death
02:12and her throat slit while Mohammed died by hanging.
02:15However, autopsies will have to be conducted
02:18as investigations continue.
