Relatives of missing woman, Jamie Mohammed, believe the decomposing body found in Murry Trace, Siparia on Thursday is her.

As they await confirmation through dental records, they believe, based on the clothing it is Mohammed.

She was last seen alive on October 18th and reported missing by her common-law husband weeks later.

Reporter Cindy Raghubar-Teekersingh spoke with relatives on Friday.

00:0045-year-old Jamie Mohamed of Mendes Village, Separia, was reported missing by her common-law
00:07husband earlier this month, more than two weeks after she did not return home.
00:12When we asked the question, he said that he left her at a bar to visit a friend. She wanted
00:18to visit a friend, so he dropped her off and she never returned.
00:23That line at the bar located on the Separia main road was on October 18th. Mohamed's sister-in-law
00:29says they advised him to make a police report and their searches, assisted by the hunters'
00:34search and rescue team, began. She says despite last being seen alive almost one month ago,
00:41they still had hope that Mohamed would be found alive.
00:45Jamie just had this life of having fun. For me, having fun, everybody had fun differently. Some
00:50people were tennis, some people play golf. She was just one of them. Well, she liked to go by
00:55the bar, take a little sip and come back. So she accustomed doing this, like, you know,
01:01go out, come back. But she always let her family know.
01:04But since no one had heard from her in weeks, they knew this time something was off.
01:10And when hunters stumbled across the decomposing, decapitated body of a woman,
01:15with a skull at its side, on Thursday, not far from where the bar is located,
01:20in some bushes off Murray Trace, their worst fears were realised.
01:25The shoes and clothing on the body gave confirmation.
01:29I really think she was targeted. And whoever took her, you know, has done all this.
01:41And I have to say evil, because if you saw what we saw, it was inhuman.
01:51And how can another human do that to another human?
02:00It's not right.
02:01Mohammed's brother says it is heartbreaking and disgusting to see the way women are treated.
02:07He offered this advice.
02:09I mean, you're going to lie me, be more responsible, because you see, you see what
02:15happening out here. We have people that has no conscience.
02:22And they prey on victims, as these women who are helpless and left alone,
02:30and has maybe no one to defend them.
02:34So, you know, you will just be careful in what you're doing.
02:39Be responsible to tell someone where you will go, let someone know at all times where you are.
02:45An autopsy will have to be done to determine cause of death as police investigations continue.
