00:00You know, when I reach there, when I come there, see the man lying down there, but he's no blood.
00:22With an overwhelming sense of grief, parents of 33-year-old Kamal Mohamed tried to make sense of why someone
00:31would want to kill the youngest of their four children.
00:34When I went and see him, I couldn't be there. I started bawling. I can't understand why they shoot him.
00:43I can't understand why. Because he never did leave the body. He didn't keep yelling.
00:48Kamal, a farmer and father of two young children, ages four and six, was fatally shot while working on a
00:57parcel of land with his older brother, of Manoha Trace, Roshad Road, Barakpur, around midday on Tuesday.
01:24Kamal was shot in the head. He was taken to hospital, but pronounced dead soon after.
01:30His mother described her youngest child as someone who didn't drink alcohol, didn't lime at bars, didn't smoke, and whose
01:39life revolved around his family, eating healthy and getting fit at home.
01:44She says Kamal works in the family's concrete business. But since his older brother was given permission to cultivate a
01:52nearby piece of land, they've both been hard at work planting pumpkins.
01:57But the family remains baffled over his murder.
02:01He didn't deserve to be like that. If they didn't go into the building, they want the produce, they want
02:06the land, they didn't have to do that. They could not take it and leave the child alone.
02:11The bicycle, believed to be the one used by the killer, was found abandoned not far away from the crime
02:18scene.
02:19Investigators are yet to determine a motive for the killing.
