00:16Unfortunately, on Sunday afternoon, he made the horrific discovery of her decomposing body alongside that of her common-law husband.
00:25Two-term serving UNC local government councillor for Separia East San Francisco South, 36-year-old Ramona Victor, was found dead next to the body of her husband, 45-year-old Rodney Ramsumay, on a bed inside their home on Sunday afternoon. Police suspect it was a murder-suicide.
00:45On Monday morning, councillor Victor's parents spoke with TV6 News at their Separia home.

01:14The councillor was last seen alive by a resident around 7.30pm on Friday, near to her Queenam Branch Road, Koura Road, Separia home, where she discussed plans to get a road in the community fixed.
01:29Mr. Victor says on Saturday morning, he was asked by his son-in-law multiple times to come over to check something in their house, first through a 6am telephone call and then a 10am visit in person.
01:43But Mr. Victor says he was only able to go on Sunday afternoon around 3.30pm.
01:50The man came by me, dropped two cars light for me, told me to check him for 9, for 1 o'clock.

02:02So he come back to prepare for me to come in.
02:06Councillor Victor's body lay on the bed covered with a blanket in an advanced state of decomposition,
02:13while Ram Sumer was unresponsive with what appeared to be froth on his face.
02:18Mr. Victor says police recovered a handwritten note at the scene and read it to them.
02:24He said that he apologised for what he did and he can't live it out with him.
02:32He's gone, when he's so left in peace, and I know he's gone and fighting.

02:45Mr. Victor says the couple disagreed often, but by the next day, they were the happiest pair.
02:53Even so, he says he constantly gave her advice, and while he believes he tried his best as a father,

03:57Autopsies conducted on Counselor Victor today concluded she died due to blunt force trauma to the neck and head,
