A 43-year-old mother of two was stabbed to death in front of her nine-year-old son on Monday night in Marabella.

The killing is the latest tragedy, in a serious of violent attacks on the family, according to relatives.

Our reporter Cindy Raghubar-Teekersingh visited the scene of the killing on Tuesday and tells us more.

00:00As she was being stabbed to death inside her beachfront Bayshore Marabella home on Monday night,
00:07Aikisha Wildman's last moments were spent pleading with her nine-year-old son to run to safety.
00:14But according to the victim's sister, he remained by her side a witness to the horrific death.
00:21Her son was at home, he's nine years old.
00:24When she started bawling, she'd tell him to run. Run, Zion, run.
00:30He'd never run, he stayed with his mother, because that's all he had.
00:34Zion is in a state that he can't even talk.
00:39His mother's blood from last night is still on his clothes.
00:42He is in and out. He don't even know himself because he witnessed the killer's mother in front of him.
00:49Just after 7pm on Monday, relatives say Wildman had just taken a bath and was changing her clothes
00:57when four men entered the house and attacked her.
01:00Her screams alerted those next door that something was wrong.
01:04According to the police report, relatives met the victim's boyfriend in the front yard,
01:09who told them Wildman had just been stabbed and they got a neighbor to take her to the hospital,
01:15where she was treated for multiple stab wounds to the chest and abdomen, but was pronounced dead soon after.
01:23They came from into the sea and they come up and run into my sister's house last night and take her life.
01:30We've been having a lot of threats since three years ago when they killed our brother.
01:34The sister says police responded quickly on Monday night and they hoped to get justice for Wildman's death.
01:58She says other relatives still live in this community, notoriously known as the line,
02:04and pleaded for relocation in fear of what or who comes next.
02:09We have been begging the government to help us move out from Dhongia for the longest while since they have killed Atiba,
02:16we have been begging for help to get off of the line because we keep letting them know Dhongia has no lights.
02:22There's only women and children over on this side and we have been begging for assistance.
