00:30Really much looking forward to
00:34To be honest, I'm not gonna lie
00:37I was really looking forward to this movie, okay
00:40And today's video, Army of the Dead
00:44Okay, now time for the curse to come off
00:47As for this movie, I was really disappointed
00:52I don't know, maybe because I had a lot of expectations

01:02He's not known for getting positive reviews
01:04Let's start with the premise
01:06Right, because this is a very
01:08Very interesting premise
01:10And a very good premise too
01:12Okay, this movie is basically a heist-movement-y zombie movie combined
01:16Like, think Ocean's Eleven meets Dawn of the Dead
01:22Except, the qualities that made either of those movies good
01:26See why I felt disappointed in this film
01:30Okay, now after the introduction
01:33Well, the first part of the introduction
01:36That is, the movie introduced me to the characters
01:40One may want to start with the MC
01:42You know, you have Scott Ward
01:44Played by Dave Bautista, you know
01:46And then you have his daughter Kate Ward
01:49And then you have a bit of a background here
01:50With the Border Patrol stuff
01:52And you know, you get hit with the premise, right
01:55You have this whole thing going on
01:58And then you see this rich guy comes along
02:02And he wants the main guy to assemble a team of his own
02:08To go over to this casino and retrieve
02:12$200 million of the vault
02:13And he gets to keep $50 million for himself
02:16With all the less that I'm done
02:18Okay, now that's basically the premise thing
02:20Now, hey, keep going, collect your shit, get out
02:25And that's pretty much it, right
02:28Simple, straightforward, in-and-out gig
02:30So it shouldn't be any problems here
02:33When it comes to a film with this sort of like
02:36Straightforward, simple premise
02:38Well, that's the fucked up part
02:41And the show takes a simple premise
02:45And fucks it up by trying to be something
02:49It's clearly not meant to be
02:52And let me explain
02:53Okay, the main issue that I have with the film
02:56Aside from all the problems that I've noticed
02:58Is the one time
03:01Definitely the one time
03:03That's the main thing, right
03:04Ask anybody and they'll tell you that
03:06You know, people who couldn't say the film
03:08A movie like this
03:10High-saw movie
03:11It shouldn't be as long and slow pace as it is
03:16With the premise
03:17You should have this being two hours flat
03:21And undoubtedly, to be honest
03:24Anything more than that would've been pushing it
03:27And this film being at
