00:02Now some of you guys might be asking this question because you're worried about looking needy if you text her too soon and go for the second date.
00:08But the real question is, are you actually needy?
00:11If that's the case, and you're wondering when you should text her after the first date,
00:14then you're trying to play a strategic game to get your best chances of a second date without looking needy, which you are.
00:21But you might not be needy, and you just don't want to look like you are.
00:23But the reality here is, if the girl actually likes you, there's no such thing as asking too soon for the second date.
00:29But you can definitely ask too late.
00:31And I'm going to explain why, so let's go.
00:37How long should a guy wait to ask for the second date?
00:39I'm going to give you a few guidelines so you'll have a rule of thumb to guide you every time you're going to ask for a second date,
00:44and never have to ask this question again.
00:46Here are the guidelines.
00:47Number one, do you like her?
00:48If you like her, then ask her out for the second date.
00:50Rule number two, refer to rule number one.
00:52Worrying too much about this question is not something that's going to really give you big returns on your dating life.
00:56If you are needy, then that's definitely something you want to fix.
00:59One way to fix that is get more abundance in your dating life, right?
01:02You're going to want to get more dates because it will make you value each date less,
01:05which is actually a good thing because now you're going to make better decisions, typically.
01:08Hell, you can even ask your date for the second date while you're on the first date, while you're finishing.
01:13If it went well, if things seem peachy, then ask her.
01:15Why not?
01:16For myself personally, I'll ask any time within one to three days.
01:19It doesn't really matter.
01:20I'm not being really strategic here, but I do avoid waiting too long.
01:23Now, here's why waiting too long will sabotage your chances at a second date.
01:27If you wait a week or longer, chances are any feelings, any positive feelings she had from having the date with you
01:33are going to start to fade, and she's not going to be connected to that as strongly.
01:36And you basically want to strike while the iron is hot,
01:38meaning while she's still having stronger feelings towards you because she had a great date,
01:42that's when you want to ask her out.
01:43If you wait too long, she can cool off, another guy comes in the picture, and so on.
01:47And why wait anyways?
01:48If you like her, just jump back on that gravy train and make something happen.
01:51Now, obviously, for logistic reasons, if you're actually really busy, that's a different story.
01:56But I still suggest texting her within one to three days to set something up,
02:00even if it's later on, even if it's a week or longer.
